This stunning suspenseful romance had me gripping my seat from start to finish. I didn’t know what to expect from the synopsis and the story just kept me surprised from beginning to end. I loved reading about Theo and Eden and their individual paths and development, and how they got drawn together. Extremely well written. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series!

What a fantastic quick and easy read! Now, sometimes people equate “quick and easy read” to mean simple, adolescent, and sometimes even childish. That is most certainly not the case here. This book was thrilling, suspenseful, fast paced, and very well developed. The author has an innate ability to weave story and character fluidly, doing so in such an effective manner she apparently doesn’t require as many pages as others to complete her craft. Just a very good book and one I will highly recommend to others.

The Only Series, 5 book boxed set By: Bree Kraemer 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the box set of The Only Series by Bree Kraemer. These are five contemporary romance stories that hooked me in and once I started a story, I found myself lost in the pages. One of the reasons I loved them so much is the characters. They are well-developed, and I grew to care about each one of them. I wanted them all to find love and happiness. I enjoyed that the characters are brought forward into the next book. There is plenty of romance and steamy scenes going on in this series that will make the temperature in the room rise. There is playful/flirty bantering as well as dirty talking. The stories had my emotions going up and down with the characters. There are heartwarming moments and times when I had a smile on my face or was laughing out loud. There are times when insecurities arise and also when passions ignite. There is never a dull moment. These are a set of stories that are a joy to read. This is a set of books I would highly recommend.

This is the second book in this series. The Fallen Eagles MC took me on another journey of murder, mystery and sitting on the edge of my seat action. Leaving Jackson Wolf by P.A Kane is a Young Adult coming of age story that is thought provoking and at times it was both heart wrenching and heartwarming with social issues and strong bonds of friendships. It is about a young man trying to come to terms with his ethnicity and where he fits both at home and in the world. It is a powerful and emotional read and one that you won’t be able to stop until it ends. P.A. has done a good job at writing a story that will leave you a little raw as you take the journey in to a world that shows the best and the worst of human nature. I look forward to reading more from Mr. Kane.

Degrees of Power is book four in the Prestian Series by Via Mari. Katarina just captivates me. As a character, she is a courageous and fearless woman, paving her path in a man’s world. Chase and Katarina must face many obstacles, be prepared to do what it takes to get the best result and reconfirm the love they have for one another. The level of affection runs so deep between them, it has its own palpable heartbeat. A profound reaction whenever they were in each others vicinity.
Everything about this story was remarkable. It was evocative, suspenseful and unique. Nothing was omitted from the Prestian Series, with a reader getting the full impact of this powerful collection. A highly energetic and dangerously addictive series. This one is a must read. 5 stars

I really enjoyed this novel and was so excited to read this novel.
Wren is such a strong, relatable female character who has gone through so much since entering the Guild but still pushes through anything thrown at her.
The POVs do change which was surprising but I enjoyed reading from the other voice once I got use their pace and tone.
What a beautiful heart wrenching emotional roller coaster! The author does a beautiful job realistically portraying love and heart break. I was hooked on the very first page. A wonderful book that I will be recommending to others. I cannot wait to see what the author writes next – so good!

Claiming Her Mates book one written by Dia Cole. This is a genre I enjoy reading. It’s always a nice break from reality to read this type of story. Claiming Her Mates has a few unique twists to it though, so it’s definitely not your average shifter story. Vana (Havana) is working as a stripper just trying to get by since she no longer works for Nathan (who’s also her ex). With a virus being spread around she doesn’t have many options when three gorgeous men show up and say they need her to go with them, that Nathan sent them. This story gets your attention from the beginning and hold it with vanas mouthy comments and the need the men have when it comes to her. Only things aren’t always what they seem…especially when there’s one female and three males stuck at the sanctuary during a snow storm….what could possibly go wrong, I mean how hard would it be to stay away from her….turns out, impossibly hard.

5 Star Surviving Eden ( Surviving Series Book 1) By Virginia Wine is the first book in the Surviving Series. From the very first page I had a feeling that this was going to be one of those books that sucked you in and made you unaware of your surroundings. Man was I right. This was intense and had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Theo is not only a Psychiatrist but he is also a man that has no emotional attachments and just exists. He’s never felt that way with anyone that is until he meets Eden. He’s not only trying to help her but he finds himself wanting to protect her as well. There is definitely an attraction between these two. Eden is a talented and a very strong willed woman. What does the future look like? I highly recommend reading this book especially if you want to know what happens next. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This was a wonderfully done second chance werewolf love story. This is the first book in the Powder River Pack series. I think that this is a very good start for a new series! The main characters, Derek and Annabelle, are not perfect, but this helps with being able to relate to these characters. They struggle with a very real issue, breakdown in communication. This is my second book by this author and I loved it even more than the first that I read. I love the writing style and the smooth flow of every word. I think one of my favorite things about the whole book was the way she wrote the interaction between these characters, the way it all just seemed natural and maybe some parts not so natural but this author made it all seem real, like pulling a gun on your husband and it being like one of my favorite scenes in the whole book. LOL
Much of the story was about something that is completely real in our world today and that part wasn’t so easy to read about but again it was handled beautifully.
I can not wait for more on this series and more of the interaction with these characters, I could almost picture this as a series on TV and if that happened I’d definitely be watching it.
The only negative I have about this book is that it ended, leaving me wanting so so much more.

I don’t read witches stories very much. I am very selective with the ones I do read but I really enjoyed this one.
The plot of time travel and Emeline trying to get the attention of the boy of she loves to remember was really interesting.

Leaving Jackson Wolf by P.A. Kane a four-star read you won’t want to leave. This was a powerful and great story, but there was just something I couldn’t put my finger on that stopped me giving five-stars. The coming of age aspect and power that shines through this story are great, Jackson Wolf and James McDougal both show us a different aspect of life today, the struggles they face will astound you. The storytelling is second to none, the author has such a great flow and will surprise you no end.

I was sucked into this magical fantasy as soon as I started reading. This is a fast paced book with a lot of action, drama, romance, and time travel. Emeline is trying to figure out why the timeline is askew, and if she’s the cause. Will she be able to make things right? The author did an amazing job, with so much going on in the story it wasn’t confusing or erratic. Her story telling and world building made this an exceptional read for me. I was on the edge of me seat for most of the time. I loved the characters in this story, they are very well developed. This book is the second book but can be read as a standalone without feeling like you have missed out on anything. I truly enjoyed the journey this story took me on. I highly recommend this book.

What a fantastic book and series! This installment, like the rest, immediately captured my attention. I felt compassion for the characters and felt the emotional roller coaster they experienced. The author does a fantastic job maintaining the universe created throughout the series and developing her characters fully. Very well written and very enjoyable read. Definitely recommended.

Aubrey Bondurant sits on my must read list because of this series. These characters are so well written. Each book stands alone very well but work seemlessly together to form a wonderful universe. Romance rules over all. Each book focuses on a different woman from our sisterhood and their romantic entanglements. Each storyline progresses differently. Each heroine is strong and complex and flawed. Bondurant writes relatable, yet noteworthy characters that are approachable and heartfelt. Highly recommended.

A Pink Christmas by Allyson R. Abbott is the third book in her Christmas kiss series and I am so happy that I picked this one up. This holiday romance hooked me from the beginning and kept me enthralled until passed the last page. Following the story of Billie and Leroy, we see Billie leaving her small hometown five years ago. Wanting to spread her wings and experience life, Billie was willing to leave everything behind to make sure that she gets to live her life to the fullest. While she loved Leroy, she needed to see the world, and if Leroy loved her as much as she loved him, he would follow her….right? When Billie comes back home and seeing Leroy again with no contact for so long still enrages her. When Billie and Leroy come face to face again how will she handle him? Will Billie be able to admit that she couldn’t move past her young love or will she have to break her own heart again and walk away? Can Leroy find a way to forgive Billie for running away? Do they have strong enough feelings to make a relationship work? Abbott is a newer to me author, having only found her works with this series but I am so glad I picked it up! I recommend reading this series in order, even though each story can be read as a standalone, getting to see Abbott’s evolution of writing. This was a great, fast paced read! I have read work by this author previously so I knew that I would be in for a good read and I wasn’t disappointed. When I first read the blurb I wasn’t sure what I was in for so I was really looking forward to reading it, it left me a little intrigued! It didn’t take me long to become hooked on the story, and there were some quite sensitive topics in it that might not be for everybody but I thought it was a great, thrilling read that I found hard to put down. The author has done a great job of interjecting humour and entertainment into a book with some dark moments. I really liked the main characters and I could tell how important it was for them to find out the truth behind what was happening in the story. I felt really connected and engaged by them. An intriguing read that I absolutely would recommend.
A Second Chance is a story about mates losing touch. About how people can come between you and your fate. I found this story to be sad because Derek and Anna didn’t believe in each other enough to find out the truth. They let the words of others guide their actions and emotions. I did enjoy the realistic spin on the wolf part. Most books have the people turning into wolves whenever. These wolves were fully controlled by the moon. It was a nice change. I liked the relationship between the pack. I really liked Gram. Overall a nice smooth read.

I thought that A Second Chance was a really enjoyable paranormal read. It is the first book that I have read by this author and I found that it didn’t take me long to be engaged by her writing style and hooked into the story. I have really started to enjoy paranormal stories now so I was really looking forward to reading something by a new to me author. I did find myself a little lost at time I will admit with the repetitive style that the author had adopted and it not a style I am used to however I don’t think it really took anything away from the storyline and the characters. The author’s detailed writing allowed me to become fully immersed in the lives of the main characters and I was right there along with them as they experience a whole host of emotions. I really did feel a connection with them. I will certainly be looking forward to the next book in the series!

Souls Collide (Collide Series Book Three) by Kristina Beck
Five Stars
I really liked this story. So many emotions to process. The characters had to come to terms with so many of their flaws and learn to get over it. The lessons they learned made them better characters and better partners. I liked Abby’s character the best. She is dealing with so much and yet her outlook on life is so bright. Alexa was a little snobby to me. But them you would read a chapter and see another side to her. She was a very complex character. Kent could be my superman any day. He is very guarded and uptight. He has to deal with a lot throughout the story and it really highlights his strong points. You also see some moments that show a softer side to him. Overall I am excited to see what happens next. The author gave a lot to this story and the mystery of the stalker was a great way to add more filling to the story. It wasn’t just another HEA. They characters worked for their peace and I feel it is well deserved.

Fatal Legislation was a thrilling 5 star read and the second book in the Karina Cardinal Mystery series. We continue with KC’s story, she is moving forward in a new relationship with her college friend Mike, who also happens to be an FBI agent.
While visiting with a Senator she finds herself doing CPR trying to save his life. After finding out that he passed away, she is in shock. When Mike shows up at her place he informs her that she is a “person of interest” in the investigation of the Senator’s death.
Why would she be considered a suspect? How can she clear her name? Will Mike be able to help her or will his job take precedence over their relationship?
This was an edge of your seat thriller. I couldn’t wait to see what was coming next with all the twist and turns. All of the secondary characters were great, they added a good element to the story. If you’re looking for a good murder mystery with suspense, drama and so much more this is the book for you. Ellen Butler has done a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is the second book in The Confectioner Chronicles and i loved it! I liked it even more than i liked the first one. This book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and it was great. This book has it all… Mystery, suspense, humor and of course a little bit of romance. I HIGHLY suggest reading these books in order to get the best reading experience because they shouldn’t be read as standalones. I absolutely adore Wren. She is a fantastic main character and she’s funny and strong. I really am looking forward to reading book number three so i can figure out what happens! Go get this series now! Happy Reading! Awakening Of A Soul Keeper – Prequel to the Soul Keeper Series by Brienne Dubh was a fast pace, paranormal romance that puts a new spin on your normal everyday vampire read.
By first read by this author and for this series, being as this is the prequel the events take place before the main series, so you will be free from spoilers. For me it was a pretty good intro to this world that Brienne Dubh has created.
This book was powerfully intriguing, and for me, quite unique in its approach in tackling the vampire sub-genera. I’m not going to get into it, because this will ruin the whole experience. Lets just say, this book took a bit of a turn that I wasn’t expecting, and I dig it.
As for the aesthetics, this tale, though short, managed to developed it’s characters without sacrificing world building, or attention to detail. It’s nicely balanced and a treat for the eyes. The flow was smooth, and the sinnister dark undertones, keeps your attention throughout the read. This books starts with a blood bath before switching to a more lighthearted first chapter. Right away there are signs and cluse pointing towards a darker plot and world.
Overall this book hooked me, and I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series, that and… this powerhouse read ends on a cliffhanger.. so yeah.. I need me the next book. On that note, please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get sucked into this original world, and I will tell you, you are not going to see what happens.
