This is the first 3 books in this series, I love this series! Each story is about a different couple. Each one is looking for something better whether it be a new start to a dream job. What they find may not be what they are looking for, the men may be hot but they come with struggles. The chemistry with each one makes the story hot and steamy. The characters are true to life, I loved them. They made me feel part of their story. What does fate have instore for them? A must read series!

This author is fast becoming among my favorites. She has the ability to pull me into her story with ease from the beginning. Alex and Madison are great characters that suffer from love at first sight for each other. I must say their chemistry is off the charts. They are bound to be together but someone from the past has something different in mind for them. Is it possible to overcome the struggles life throws at them to be together? I highly recommend reading this book.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott – Review by Sheri Schrader

A Frothy Christmas KissA Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series. This is a fun, Christmas read centering on the story of Kat and Dan. Kat comes across a great, little coffee shop with a very, handsome owner. After the two get to know each other over their shared love of coffee will the sparks fly? The story is a quick read with a happily ever after ending. The two characters are well written and their story is sweet. I enjoy stories like this especially during these busy times of the year. This is a sweet, uplifting story that I enjoyed. This series can be read in any order because they are standalone. If you enjoy one you will enjoy all of them.

The Something Series – Box Set Books 1-3: (Tell Me Something, Ask Me Something & Bet Me Something) by Aubrey Bondurant

Tell Me Something is the first book in the series and is a great read!

Our main characters Haylee & Josh are from completely different backgrounds and lifestyles and they have both had more than their share of challenges, problems and heartbreak. When these two meet by chance, an opportunity Haylee can’t refuse is offered and the instant attraction leads to a sizzling connection that can’t be ignored. But will their issues become too much between them? Will they realise what they want before it tears them apart? Will Halyee survive the perceived betrayal or will Josh come to his senses before he looses her forever?

Ask Me Something is the second book in the series by and is a great read, even better than the first and that is saying something as I loved the first one!

In this story our main characters Sasha & Brian have worked together for years in the advertising industry and are the best of friends. When a promotion comes along she takes it but it means she has to move away and makes him her boss. Sasha may be a force to be reckoned with in the business world but on the inside she is fighting a secret she has never told anyone.

Brian is the complete opposite in that he is so laid back and easy going until he is in the bedroom, then things get to sizzling with this hot and sexy alpha male.

Bet Me Something is the third book in the series and it is every bit as good if not better than the others.

Kenzie and Colby are our main characters who have always been in each other’s lives as they grew up together. Colby and Kenzie who both are dealing with their own insecurities which are holding them back from having a fulfilling life. There were a few times I was mad with how they were treated and for how others treated them and for not standing up for themselves. But overall they are two beautifully smart, witty and intelligent people who you envy their easy going relationship, if only it could be more!

The secondary characters were just as entertaining as the main characters and had me laughing and crying right along with them. I love reading books by Aubrey, as I love her style of writing as it flows easily and the story lines she comes up with keep me hooked and fully invested and wanting to know more about the made for each other couples that I so adore.

There are so many wonderful characters that we have learned about in this series but there are still so many that we need to have their stories told. You will find yourself laughing and crying, holding your breath, heartbroken and jealous as you walk through the Something series world. There are many, many emotional twists and turns and insecurities that will have you biting your nails and hoping for the best. I absolutely love all the witty remarks and the easy banter between all these characters and their loyalty and friendships. When these men love they love hard and fast and set the sheets on fire.

I look forward as always to all future reads from Aubrey as she is one talented author.

A Frothy Christmas KissA Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dan and Kat have a cute, caffeinated love story. I would have liked an epilogue, maybe a future family Christmas. It was actually kind of angsty, riddled with misunderstandings and a coffee shop I’d die to try! This is a short, sweet holiday romance, with a unique feline twist, and I really enjoyed reading it.

But what she needs is a Christmas miracle, will they get one? This story is about family and will remind you what you are thankful for. I loved the characters and I even shed a couple of tears for them. This is a must read Christmas story!

A Tangy Christmas Kiss is book two in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. It is a clever little christmas romance that was short, sexy and oh, so sweet. Mel is a hot mess and finds herself in a foreign country where she doesn’t speak the native tongue. But she does know the language of love, and sets about to find her happy ever after. It is a highly entertaining story that will make you laugh hard and loud, and your heart melt in a puddle of gooey sweetness. 5 stars for this wonderfully festive fiction.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Guilty Pleasures Volume Two is a steamy collection of super short stories by Joyce McCarthy. The main character, Brad, is a very busy lad, amd provides short, steamy, and insanely arousing tales. This author grabs your attention from the very beginning, and will leave you gasping for more. These characters get hot and heavy at warp speed, and I cannot get enough of them. Always remember, that these stories are fiction, and enjoy the living daylights out of these escapes from reality. I now have an insatiable hunger for all things steamy, and Joyce McCarthy’s work ticks all those sensual little boxes, which makes for very satisfying reading. 5 stars.

Alexander Kincaid Storm III was born of privilege and took the world by fire. Desperate to etch a life as far from father’s empire was his only salvation. He had finally escaped the clutches that entangled his raging soul. Coaxing the good from deep within to grow, he had left the past in the past and began life on his own terms.

“What you decide from this day forward will distinguish you from the man you were, to the man you want to be.”

That is until the beautiful, unavailable Madison Perry taunted him with only a sample of what true love could be. One touch caught him unaware, one look sparked the moment, a smile framed his soul. The day he followed his heart into the abyss, there was no corner in which to flee, no dark place to hide. How could he know it would all go so terribly wrong? How could he know the danger?

Then the unthinkable, life or death.

But when he’s determined to distract her temporarily from the stress of her mother’s ultimatum, deciding to show her some fun, he quickly finds that keeping her in the friend zone is not as easy as he’d hoped.

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set)Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Eastern Shore Swingers Box Set by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 Stars

This Author never fails to deliver an amazing book with complex characters and detailed story lines and scenes. It would only make sense that this book series would be top notch and one very HOT read. If you’re a fan of JustSwingerPorn then you’ll DEFINITELY be a fan of these books!

Fisher of Men (Eastern Shore Swingers Book 1) by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 stars

I do not give out a lot of 5 stars. A book must really touch my soul, be incredibly well written, and/or have an a major impact on me to get 5 stars from me. This book has more than earned the 5 stars. Fisher of Men is an erotic romance novel and this first in this series and it came crashing through the front door. Leah Miller, daughter of a Preacher Man (Praise Be to Aretha) was raised in a very conservative, Christian household. I would almost call it claustrophobic with its rules and regulations. But instead of following in the parent chosen life, she branched out into Hotel Management and took a job on the East Coast with a hotel called, The Pearl, where she figured she would learn about how the rest of the world live. There she meets and falls for a man aptly named Cap, or Capt Chris Sheldon, who, after attending one of the famous parties hosted by The Pearl, she learns…is a swinger.

This plot, while extreme, has some very relatable characters. Leah and Chris are both very loveable and extreme fun. Chris is super hot. I pictured a Chris Hemsworth look alike in my head, but I also can admit to a small obsession with the Aussie. Ms Alexander has done an incredible job keeping the reader engaged, yet not rushing the story. Her book is both complex, yet delicate in its simplicity that it is a love story. This book is highly recommended for readers of romance, erotic stories and just fans of Phoebe Alexander.

The Catch, Book 2 in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander
4 out of 5 Stars
This author never ceases to amaze. This second book in the Eastern Shore Swingers series is just a sizzling as the first. This book can be read as a standalone, however, I do highly recommend you read Book One at some point, because it is fantastic in its own right.
Paisley is a strong independent woman who don’t need to man, or at least she doesn’t need a relationship. The physical aspect of the man, she can get jiggy with, the emotional side of it, she can deal without. She is a flawed character and I loved that Ms Alexander wrote a character that has curves for days. Paisley is not the typical flat tummy, long legged runner who you would normally see in the Ocean City landscape around Maryland and when she is hired as a manager at a hotel, her first priority is to hire someone to design the hotel’s website.

Enter Calvin…the not so geeky..but I am a tall drink of water..Calvin. He challenges everything she knows. He pushes her boundaries and her comfort levels. When the steam starts to rise between them, the sheets start to smoke. When a blast from Paisley’s past come barreling back and threatens her, Calvin risks his own well-being to protect her and she starts to believe that he just maybe the very thing that she has been waiting for.

This book is super hot. 18+ audience for super mature theme and some steamy between the sheets scenes. Smooth easy read with passages and paragraphs flow from one thought to the next. As a reader you do not feel rushed through the story and the story line progresses at a pace that is both relevant and applicable to the story.

The Sirens Call Book 3 in the in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 Stars
In this third installment of the Eastern Shore Swingers Series, we meet Jesse, a cop and friend of the owners of The Factory who need her help solving a mystery that is surrounding one of the new members of their exclusive club. Sirena has a lot of rumors surrounding her and it is a huge cause for concern from the Owners of the Club.

Jessie is determined to learn what Sirena has to hide, Sirena joined the club as a means to escape. She is determined to not cave under Jessie’s investigation. Each come crashing together in the most explosive way.

Ms Alexander knows exactly how to draw the reader into the story with the first paragraph and hold them. I was hooked from the first sentence. I highly recommend this book.

This book is super hot. 18+ audience for super mature theme and some steamy between the sheets scenes. Smooth easy read with passages and paragraphs flow from one thought to the next. As a reader you do not feel rushed through the story and the story line progresses at a pace that is both relevant and applicable to the story.

Each of these books can be read as a stand alone, but i am a huge advocate, that as a reader, you should read a series in book order, regardless if a series is standalone or not. Phoebe Alexander is an amazing author and continues to put her heart and soul into each book and this series is one complete portion/ I adored this so much!

I loved this sweet Christmas novel that takes place in a small town. Billie and Leroy had been in love before she left to chase her dreams. She had hoped he would follow her but he never did. Things are different when she returns home after 5 years. While helping her pops in the shop she learns things that change everything. I really loved her character and the rekindled love and new love that take place in this novel. It is another great addition to the Christmas Kiss series.

This series has gotten better with each book. This story is super sad because everyone losses so much. All the death just doesn’t seem necessary. Revenge is ugly but presents itself as this wonderful thing that will make you feel better. Hale is in that dark space and there is no out for him. He truly didn’t know how to go on. Wren was a little useless to me. I don’t understand her character. I love stories about magic. It’s a world of infinite possibilities. I also love sweets. I was at the edge of my bed reading the last few chapters waiting for the end. I was shocked and saddened by all that transpired. Let’s hope the last book gives us an HEA.

A Pink Christmas KissA Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Pink Christmas Kiss was a good 4 star read and the third book in the Christmas Kiss series.

Billie has recently returned home to help keep the family business up and running. It was just what she needed to bring her home. While she was in New York she was confused as to why Leroy, someone she loved very much never followed her.

You can’t love someone as much as I loved Leroy and just stop. I think I’ll always care, no matter what happens or how much time passes.

Now that she has returned can she reunite with Leroy or has he moved on? The first couple of times that Billie sees Leroy it doesn’t go very well. More like open mouth insert foot.
Billie also finds out why Leroy never left town, it helps her understand a little more about why he stayed.

Can Billie and Leroy find each other again after so many years? Can they get a HEA?

There is so much more to this Christmas read. You can feel the love coming off the pages between these two. I really liked Billie, she was a strong hard working woman who also had a stubborn streak. Leroy is great, he will capture your heart right away. We get romance, LOL moments and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. Overall this was a fun read and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Eastern Shore Swingers (Boxset Books 1 to 3)
By Phoebe Alexander

Fisher of Men (Book 1)
After some bad relationships and with Will breaking her heart in such a way that she didn’t know how she was going to recover, Leah decided that she was going to let God guide the man to her that she should be with. She also knew this wouldn’t happen until God knew she was ready for it.
Leah works at the Pearl Resort as she describes her work role as keeping guests and staff happy. One of Leah’s main roles is to help guests organize their functions and to ensure that all guests can have a room booked for that night. She also ensures that the guests have everything they ask for to make sure their functions go off without a hitch.
Leah gets a call from her boss Barry to say they are a bar tender down for tonight’s function and asks if she can help. Having never attended bar before she has a few nervous moments. Little does Leah know that tonight’s function is a group of swingers who raise money for charities in the area.
As the function starts Leah serves what she thinks is a handsome man with a gorgeous smile. It’s this handsome man that tells Leah that everyone at this function are swingers. During their conversation she finds out this man’s name is Chris, but he goes by the name of Cap by his friends. Leah asks why Cap and he tells her it’s because he is a captain of a fishing boat. Leah can’t get Cap out of her mind and questions if God is sending her a swinger as her ideal partner.
Walking her dog Glory on the beach Leah bumps into Cap while he is walking his dog Keeper. Cap asks Leah if she would like to go for a coffee, but she makes the excuse that she must go back to work.
After all what future could she have with a swinger?
And as fisherman and swinger what is it that he could possibly offer her?

The Catch (Book 2)
The Catch is book two in the Eastern Shore Swingers series by Phoebe Alexander. The catch can be read as a standalone quite easily. Keeping in mind this series is not suited for younger readers. As with book one book will also keep you wanting to turn the page to see what the main characters are getting up to. The Catch is centered around Paisley and Calvin. I loved their story and how they protective of each other. You will be surprised just how much depth the characters have considering the subject of the book. Paisley avoids relationships, and this is why I loved how Calvin and Paisley had such a good connection. Is there room in her life to love Calvin? Calvin needs to show Paisley that they do have a future, but how is he going to do this with her need to avoid relationships?

Siren Call (Book 3)
Siren Call is the third instalment in the Eastern Shore Swingers series by Phoebe. Luckily this book can be read as a standalone and the storyline is very easy to follow. I wasn’t real sure about this book as I have never read a female/female romance before. But let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the story. There are quite a lot of sex scenes in this book but in true Phoebe style she has written the parts very well. As you can guess this is not your normal romance story, and by normal, I mean male/female. The book also has swingers, lesbian and bi sexual storylines, so if you aren’t into this type of reading don’t read the book, but I can tell you if you don’t read it you are going to miss out on a wonderfully written book. It an absolute hot read, so go get the series and I hope you enjoy it as I have. Thank you Phoebe for such a wonderful series.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott

A Tangy Christmas KissA Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Tangy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott was not one of my favorites but I do not think that the was bad. It’s just a personal preference I guess and the book was well written.

Mel has to change her plans and go spend time In Spain to help out at her Aunt Rosa’s house. It turns out to be a lot more then just house sitting.
The book was busy and kept me interested for the most part. There was a language barrier between Mel and a friend she makes and the book has the male character speaking Spanish and Mel trying to understand it and it was just a bit annoying in my personal opinion. With that being said, I did like storyline and do enjoy this authors writing.

The Moon in Her Eye’s: a witch’s tale by Nikki Broadwell is a paranormal mystery that has romance, drama and fantasy. It takes you on a journey that keeps you reading to the end. Emeline is a witch, who can travel through time. because of this, it causes her to realize the timelines are mixed up. What will happen if she tries to fix them?

Reckless – An Anthology by Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson, and Sharla Lovelace – Review by Michelle Austin

Reckless - An AnthologyReckless – An Anthology by Mika Jolie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reckless was a great 5 star read
We get four great novella’s from four authors. Some I was familiar with and others were new to me. All of these stories pulled me right in.

Layla’s Chance (Mika Jolie)
This was a great rocker read. Layla decides to go on an impromptu trip to Martha’s Vineyard where she meets Chance. She has no idea who he is until after they have a hot and steamy evening. When she learns the truth will she stick around? These two had such a connection, I loved it. I really liked Layla and Chance and I would love to see more from them.

Dirty Martinis (P.M. Carson)
Rachel and Drew met on a dating website. They both have the same type of job that takes them all over the place. They do a lot of sexting and skyping. When they finally meet in person things take quite the emotional turn. Will meeting in person ruin what they had or can they get a HEA?

Into The Deep (Kylie Stewart)
This was my favorite in the anthology. Older man younger woman. Gemma meets Grayson and they agree to one night only, but something between them causes them to want more. We also get some drama that could cause some issues for them. I loved Grayson, what a dirty talking hot as heck man. I want to see more from these two.

The Spy Who Kissed Me (Sharla Lovelace)
Ava is a lawyer who has worked her butt off to be a partner. When she is asked to deliver a package in person she agrees, while at the airport she discovers some news that makes her change her destination. Dominic is an ex CIA agent who is following Ava, she has something he wants. He quickly discovers there is a big attraction between them. They do eventually have some steamy moments. Will Dominic get what he’s looking for? Can they have a HEA? This is a thrilling read with some danger as well.

All of these stories had great characters that you connect with instantly. They all had their own characteristics and I had some LOL moments. We get some steamy moments as well. This is a great mix of stories. Thank you to Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson, Sharla Lovelace for giving me four great stories to read. Loved them and look forward to reading more from all of you.

Leaving Jackson Wolf by P.A. Kane – Review by Lisa Helmick

Leaving Jackson Wolf
By P.A. Kane
Rated 3 stars

This is a tough read for me. I really wanted to like it. The story is a good one and I like the theme running through it. McDougal has the wondrous ability and eases most people. He is sneaky in how he get under your defenses. Then you realize how great of a guy he is. Jackson, who I thought was a troubled youth, was really a good guy who surprised me more than once. He has teenage struggles as well as life struggles. The storyline moved forward slowly at times (all song titles) and other times moved along at a good pace.

This is a first time author for me. As previously stated I really struggled with this story keeping my interest. Probably since this is mostly narrative (thinking inside their heads) and bits of dialogue. I am a fan of more dialogue with active movement. This story was good the characters really grew on me as I read.

A Tangy Christmas Kiss
By Allyson R. Abbott

This is the second book in the Christmas kiss series and can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed reading the funny antics, sweet romance and so much more. Mel is a wonderful character that is having a crazy and rough time traveling to Spain to house sit for her aunt. We can all relate to the craziness of traveling that’s for sure and it’s made more difficult for Mel with the language barrier. Language barrier or not when a hot stranger offers help you cant help but swoon a little. This story definitely has the magic of Christmas in it. This story is a fun and sweet read that should not be missed. I highly recommend this book.

The Moon in Her Eyes: A Witches Tale by Nikki Broadwell – Review by Kerry Baker

The Moon in Her Eyes: a witch's taleThe Moon in Her Eyes: a witch’s tale by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Moon in Her Eyes: A Witches Tale by Nikki Broadwell is a unique and interesting story of a witch whole travels through time and the consequences she faces from doing so.
This book is part of a series although the books do not have to be read in order. But it is a bit unclear from the titles that this is the case.
This book is absolutely incredible. I knew from the description that I would be taken on such a journey but I could not have imagined just what that journey would consist of. The story was rich and detailed, making it so easy to envisage what was happening. The characters were creative and relatable, which is impressive when the author is writing about a witch from the 1600’s!!
This author thoroughly grabs your attention and holds you captive all the way through the book. She sets the pace well and develops the story with ease. This is a brilliant book and one I would highly recommend.

Leaving Jackson Wolf by P.A. Kane

4 Stars

This was a nice change from what I normally read. Not all the topics or happenings in this story were the easiest to read but life as a young adult in these times isn’t easy so it was pretty real and spot on in most parts.

This is my first read by this author and I sincerely enjoyed the style of writing. I don’t normally enjoy books where there’s more inner thoughts written then actual dialogue but in a lot of ways this one worked and with the way the world is today, where we feel like we are going backwards instead of forward this book fit right in.

I will definitely be watching for more by this author and I would recommend reading this story!

The Moon in her Eyes: A Witch’s Tale by Nikki Broadwell – Review by Sarah Oakes

The Moon in Her Eyes: a witch's taleThe Moon in Her Eyes: a witch’s tale by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great read about time. Emeline Chase is a witch who can travel through time. Her travels end her up in the 1620s to live with a native American tribe and fall in love with its leader, Samoset. But her abilities cause trouble and mess with time, altering events she knew . With the help of a coven, can she fix it before it’s too late?
A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like Emeline trusting her abilities while struggling with her feelings or Samoset trying to protect his people despite his feelings
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel in the sense of nature with the forests in the past full of colour and animals.
And the scenes with the fountain under the moon were perfectly written with a.sense of awe and wonder Or the magical and friendly sense of the coven house with the stars was a lovely touch
The only issue I would raise is that it was sometimes hard to follow to which timeline the narrative was taking place . Perhaps a switch of perspective on Samoset or chapters with timeline names on could make this clearer. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars .

The Confectioner’s Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book #3) by Claire Luana – Review by Angela Hayes

The Confectioner's Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book 3)The Confectioner’s Truth by Claire Luana
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Confectioner’s Truth is the third and final book in The Confectioner Chronicles by Claire Luana. I was both excited and sad to get my hands on this book- excited to continue the adventure, but then quite sad that this incredible journey has come to an end. I can honestly say that this series is one of my favourite discoveries of the year! Ms Luana has such a fantastic imagination- and her stories reflect her masterful storytelling abilities and superb creativity. This book/series is an exceptionally good fantasy, which has been intricately woven with action, adventure, danger, mystery, suspense, humour, fun, tension, drama, and so much more. I was on tenterhooks the whole way through, and I loved every minute.
The story is a multi-layered delight, with spellbinding scene setting, vivid descriptions and exquisite world-building- which brought the whole story to life right before my eyes. I especially loved that we got to explore more of the ‘world’ in this book.
The characters are so beautifully crafted- quite dynamic and multidimensional individuals who all added to the story. Again, as with the other ‘Confectioner Chronicles’, I was completely enthralled from beginning to end and I read it all in one sitting.
All I can say is Bravo!
Now I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Luana does next!

Thank you, Ms. Luana!

The Only Series: Five Book Boxed Set by Bree Kraemer – Review by Angela Hayes

The Only Series, 5 book boxed setThe Only Series, 5 book boxed set by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Only is a 5 book boxed Set, and the complete series by Bree Kraemer. There is so much to love about this collection, from the wonderful characters, the beautiful writing, and the captivating stories. The first book in this series is how I got my introduction to Ms. Kraemer’s work, and I have followed her closely ever since.
Reading this series has been a real pleasure- meeting these charming characters and following their journeys provided me with hours of wonderful reading. The stories aren’t very long, so each book doesn’t take endless hours to get through- each one could easily be read in one sitting. The books are all contemporary romances, and range from friends-to-lovers, holiday/office romance, falling for a friend’s brother, or falling for the boss.
Each book follows one particular couple, but there are recurring characters who make appearance throughout each story, and who have their own book at some point in the series. The books can all be read as standalones, but as I have mentioned, the cast of characters are all so interesting and likeable, you will want to find out all about them by reading every book.

The series consists of:
– Only By His Touch (Book #1)
– Only With Trust (Book #2)
– If Only (Book #3)
– Only You (Book #4)
– Only For Love (Book #5)

So, if you like sexy, fun, and emotive stories that are really well written, with well-rounded, endearing, and believable characters – then this series is for you.

Thank you, Ms. Kraemer!

Surviving Eden (Surviving Series Book #1) by Virginia Wine – Review by Angela Hayes

Surviving Eden (Surviving Series Book 1)Surviving Eden by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Surviving Eden is the first book in the Surviving series by Virginia Wine. It is a contemporary romance with a bit of a Taboo element in the form of doctor/patient, best friends’ daughter relationship- as well as some drama, great chemistry, interesting characters, and an intriguing plot.
The way the story was told gave me a really great perspective of what was going on, what the characters were thinking and how they felt.
Theo Grant is a highly respected and successful Psychiatrist who prides himself on being in control, at all times. He carries some issues from his past, and self-medicates with fast cars, women, and sex. His control will be put to the test when he is asked to take on his (recently deceased) friend’s daughter as a client, to help her deal with her grief. The sparks and chemistry are immediate, and Theo struggles to remain professional. What happens when their chemistry boils over? With his reputation and career at stake, what will he choose to do? I enjoyed reading Theo and Eden’s story and finding out what happens.
I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

Thank you, Ms. Wine!
