Cam sees a girl in the hospital on TV and immediately feels guilt. He wants to do something to help her but is feeling helpless. His dream is to create a robot that would help kids in need all over. Cam finds that he can still help people in a more realistic way. This was a great story for kids about believing in yourself and your dreams.

I’m always excited to see a new one come out in this series. I was not disappointed in this story. These two had so much to overcome and it was a journey that took you with them. Being based mostly in New Orleans, you felt like you were experiencing a bit of everything there. Oh, I loved every minute of it. This story is so well written. You feel like you very much a part of it. After 3 stories, you feel like part of the family. The characters are easy to relate to. There is such a nice smooth flow to the story. I recommend the whole series. You can read it as a stand alone but I recommend reading it in order to understand the family relationship better.
Detective Dylan and the Thief of Camp Leaf by M.J. Murray

This is such a sweet addition to the Detective Dylan series. Dylan has to learn to work with others such as Paige and Caleb. Those Benny Brothers, I hope to see them all getting along some day. It is super sweet that Caleb wanted to include his brother Alex in everything he did, he treats him as he always has, not letting Alex’s new disability get in the way of them having fun together. The best part is that the camp is inclusive for all. Alex makes new friends in Dylan and Emily and it was nice in this book to see Emily growing.

The art in this book is very nice, vibrant and eye catching. I love that the 3 friends are all so different and wan too find something new to do. They each realize they can help people with things they are already really good at, and that being kind is an amazing feeling. I love the lesson of this book and the story is fun to read. The little game in the end is a nice touch to get children involved.

Beautiful book! The artwork and story are absolutely lovely. This book shows how fun it is to be an older brother. He gets to show his younger brother how to do things, play with him, and help his parents with him. So sweet that the older brother wants to hang out and spend time with his younger brother. I would love a book like this about sisters as well!

Joe Staunch is a middle school teacher, ranch tour guide, and town historian. He doesn’t hide his dislike for Abby. Can he get over his suspicion that she’s hiding something big? Can Joe and Abby find their way to loving one another despite Abby’s secret?
This book is the third in the series. I read it independently. The first two chapters were difficult to read and confusing. A lot of characters were introduced quickly. I found it beneficial to take notes on the characters to keep them straight. I think I would have been less confused had I read the two previous books in the series. At first, I didn’t like Joe’s character. I thought he came across as self-centered and crass. I loved Abby’s character, though. I felt her heart was always in the right place. I enjoyed this story as it progressed. I found myself drawn into the small-town drama. I look forward to reading book four, and I plan to go back and read the first two books, as well. I recommend this book for readers who want a clean romance read.

Love and Fate is the second book in the Braebeach Rockstar Romance series by Loriana Cappello. This is a angsty, slow-burn, second chance, rockstar romance with single parent’s element, challenges, family, friendship, chemistry, drama, tragedy, heartache, emotion, and more.
Angie and Tommy have a complicated past, their teen/first love burned bright, but life tore them apart. Both move on with their – then tragedy strikes, and heartache leaves its mark. What does the future have in store for these two- will their past feelings bubble to the surface once more? Can they open themselves up to the possibility of love, risking their hearts for their second chance at love? Will the challenges they now face be too difficult to navigate?
As I have noted before, Ms. Cappello has an easy and inviting writing style that made this an engaging read.

Heaven Only Knows is a good, clean romance that has a little mystery. Agata is a singer who has been running from her old life and trying to move on from losing the love of her life. Barrett Brockbank is an attorney trying to figure out what to do with his life after a recent court win. He also lost his fiancee to his best friend and they ended up marrying. Although they are dealing with the heartache of losing a loved one, albeit in different ways, neither of them is looking to rush into any kind of relationship. They keep ending up in the same places and are drawn to one another. Can they move beyond their pain to get a hastily ever after?

This book was good. It’s the fifth book of the series. Definitely need to read the others if you haven’t, they follow each other. There is betrayal everywhere you turn. A man shows up out of the blue and claims to be the rightful heir to the throne. Like before, it’s hard to know who to trust.

Strings Attached by Loriana Cappello

I absolutely loved reading about Calla’s and Ash’s story. I read a Love and Fate first, and then came back to read Strings Attached. I loved reading the backstory of the sweet couple that you see periodically in that second book. Timing is not Ash’s and Calla’s thing. Every time they meet back up something is in the way. But they still work through them. I love how the connection between the two never fades but keeps getting stronger with each meet. But alas, pressures start to come in at all sides and they can only promise “right now” instead of “forever”. This was a mostly easygoing story and had great word and story building!

Man. this book was hard to read because of the constant rollercoaster. Just when you think it doesn’t get worse Loriana says hold my drink and takes you out at the knees. I had to keep a box of tissues because my heart hurt for Angie while she tried to process Sam’s death. I absolutely wanted the knock the crap out of Chelsea. She is the most vile character in this book. I feared for Ozzie’s safety multiple times. Angie’s son was pretty adorable. Watching these four try and navigate being a family together. I just wanted to take Tommy and just hug him and hide him from the writer because he goes through so much. I loved this story so much and it had just enough of reality mixed in with fiction that it was still relatable.

This series is absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend it highly enough .If you are looking for the perfect blend of romance and suspense in a fast-paced thrill ride, pick this up!
Book 1: Mistaken Identity – This was an absolutely phenomenal first book in the London Detective Agency series! The real world did not exist to me once I opened this book, and I didn’t return until I finished the last page. Typically, when I pick up romantic suspense books, they lean heavily on either the romance or suspense. This book somehow balanced both equally, and I loved it! Evelyn is traveling and her bag gets accidentally swapped by another lady named Megan. Patrick is a PI focusing intently on finding Megan…who looks an awful lot like Evelyn. The chemistry between Patrick and Evelyn is palpable and getting to see them react to each other was wonderful. The tension will keep you captivated throughout the entire story. I highly recommend picking this up if you are looking for a fast-paced, intriguing suspense-filled read!
Book 2: Be My Little Baby – This is the second book in the London Detective Agency series, and I enjoyed it even more than the first! While you could possibly read this book without reading the previous one first, I highly recommend picking them up in order. Not only are they just magnificent and complement each other, but getting the background of each character is important in the grand scheme of things. James and Tessa are incredible characters and have been very well developed. The chemistry between the two of them leaps off of the pages! I won’t give anything away, but I will absolutely recommend this book repeatedly. If you enjoy a fantastically crafted romantic suspense story, please do yourself a favor and pick this book up!

This was the first book I had picked up by this author, but the cover looked intriguing, so I picked it up. You can’t go wrong with a book on kindness, but this one exceeded my expectations! I truly loved that these kids were a bit older than most of the books that focus on being kind. It can feel like once you’re older, it’s not as cool to be kind which is far from the case. I also enjoy that another lesson hidden inside is that you get better at what you put your energy into. The flow of this story was incredible and kept the attention of both my 8-year-old and 12-year-old. It also sparked some great conversations in our home that I really appreciate. This would make a marvelous addition to your home, a school library, or even a daycare! I can’t wait to pick up other books by this author.

Beautiful illustrations will entertain children with this book. Teaches a valuable message where competition is concerned. Great book.

I enjoyed this story from this author, whom I never read before. The story was beautiful and meaningful. I read this with my grands that just welcomed a little brother so, they felt like the story was written just for them. I feel this story will help them be better siblings. Heaven Only Knows is book three in the Silver Buckle Brides series, and this is Barrett’s story.
A very well written clean Contemporary romance, that can be a standalone, but why would you want to miss out on one of the seven Brockbank brothers? Set in New Orleans this sweet love story will pull your heart right in. I have enjoyed each book so far and look forward to picking up more. I do enjoy a good clean romance, and it is a nice change and can be hard to find. Full of hope, pain, mystery, forgiveness, secrets, friendships and more. I can’t recommend these books enough. Perfect in this chilly weather to grab a blanket and curl up with.

Martin, Max and Michael have a school assignment to write about what they are good at. While talking about things they do that make them cool, they help people along the way. The kids realize that being kind is cool and enjoyable too!
This was a cute and quick read. Kids can learn that being kind can make everyone happy, including yourself! The pages were bright and vivid drawing attention and keeping it. At the very end of the book, there are a couple of cute games making it even more fun!

This series is the perfect mix of suspense, intrigue, and romance. Caffrey kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and kept me turning pages well into the night. The plot line for both books flows so well and there are some really great twists and turns that had me gasping as I read. This series is really just all around fantastic. In the first book, we meet Evelyn and Patrick and their character development both independently and together is phenomenal. I also love that James, the cheeky wingman for Patrick, is really such a huge part of the plot but he doesn’t come off creepy or forced. In the second book, we get James and Tessa’s story and Caffrey does it again with the character development both individually and together for these characters. What I love about these stories is that you don’t have to read one to read the other, but with them combined why wouldn’t you?! Grab this today along with your hot beverage of choice and a cozy blanket and settle in for forced proximity, witty banter, suspense, action, forbidden love, protector, damsel in distress, and an ultimate HEA.

A Tale of Two Crushes by Cori Cooper

I love stories by this author! They are clean, quirky, and full of fun! You don’t have to be a young adult to appreciate the writing style and stories either! Holland just moved from Arizona to Colorado and the adjustment is a bit. The climate change alone would do me in but add in teenage angst, trying to fit in, and life in general. It’s a familiar scene for anyone who’s been a teenager before! I felt like I was there in the hallways with Holland and her friends, but I really never ever want to go back to high school!

Seeing the bond between siblings while solving mysteries makes a wonderful story. It is great for young readers to read about. Family enjoyed this book for bedtime story time. Cannot wait to see what mystery the crew gets to solve next!

I enjoyed reading this young adult fantasy story. This is a well written story about what happens when you don’t know who to trust and believe. What happens when Arcella has to go deep into the darkness to save those she cares about? Question is, will she survive? I enjoyed her character and what she brought to the story. She made the story come to life for me. She is connectable and relatable. I enjoyed watching the story’s growth throughout the story which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story. An engaging story and series you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed reading this story. I highly recommend it and this series.

I was really impressed by Stephanie’s debut novel, Mistaken Identity, so I was eager to read more of her work. I didn’t have to wait long before the second book in the London Detective Agency series was released. In this sequel, PI James Moore is brought in to help when a woman’s peaceful life is disrupted by a stalker. The police were unable to assist, so she turns to James for help. The only problem is that there’s chemistry between them, but he has a rule against dating his clients.
This thrilling story is packed with mystery, danger, and excitement that unfolds at a brisk pace. It’s a suspenseful romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will James be able to uncover the stalker’s identity before things spiral out of control? You’ll have to read the book to find out. I’m looking forward to the author’s next work!

Absolutely riveting mystery series. I have read them both and I love the fact that they are now available in a complete set. This is a set full of action, humor and some romance. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters in each story. Each story had a very nice flow. The stories were written very well. They were very easy to become engaged in. The characters were very relatable. You almost felt like they were your best pals. This is a mystery set that I can definitely get behind.
