Wow! I absolutely love this book!!! If you’ve read the Manhattan’s Titans series and are in a bit of a book hangover from it, then seriously check this out! It’s a bit of a slow burn, with the guy who’s used to being used for his money falling for the independent girl that unexpectedly steals his heart. I 100% will be waiting for the other books in the series. Can’t wait!

What a fun read this book is! Jake is done with dating after yet another girl he was dating was only interested in his bank account. He is just so sick and tired of it all. At a poker night his friends talk him into going on some Blind dates where his friends choose the girls he will date. He agrees as long as they also go on dates as well. This opens up to the rest of the series which I personally am excited for. Anyway back to the story, the dates are held in a completely darkened restaurant adding new meaning to the term Blind date. As you can imagine this creates some interesting times for sure. I don’t want to say too much more about the storyline as I don’t want to give too much away. Just know that this very talented author created a great storyline and wonderful characters, both main and side characters, that I just can’t wait meet again in the next book.

This was a nice, short read. It went by pretty quickly and there wasn’t really any conflict in the book. The romance was fast-paced as well. The main character cared way too much about what others think. The male main character fell in love so fast it was almost comical. I really loved the idea of the blind date restaurant, it was a very unique idea.

I typically lean away from blind date books but this was so clever! A wonderful surprise! Jake is a genuine person who craves a partner. You fall in love with him. Meanwhile our heroine, is opposed to men with money. However, she doesn’t know if she wants to resist him. I wouldn’t either!

Jake is having issues finding a woman interested in him instead of his money and social status. He accepts his friends setting him up on four blind dates through a new restaurant his friend, Evan, was investing in. The new place was made for blind dates, where the room was dark, and the patrons were unable to see each other.
Meanwhile, Lauren is looking for a new place to live since she was living with a toxic roommate. Her best friend, Catherine, keeps offering her a place to stay. The only problem Lauren has is Catherine is the sister of her boss, Cade. Cade dismisses the idea and even pays for her move.
Jake has gone on his first blind date. He couldn’t get away from the woman fast enough. He decides he will text the next blind date throughout the week to learn more about her.
Catherine begs Lauren to go on a blind date, stating she knows the perfect person. Lauren finally relents. At the blind date restaurant, Lauren finds herself at ease with the stranger on the other side of the screen. He asks her if they could continue the date outside the restaurant, but Lauren declines. However, she agrees to continue messaging him to get to know him better. Could Lauren let her walls down and meet her mystery date? Can Jake find someone who didn’t care about his money?

I really enjoyed the blind date premise of this storyline and the chemistry between Jake and Lauren. Jake is tired of women only looking at his money over his true self while Lauren never wants to be seen as someone who uses others for money. These two are set up through a blind date service and immediately, they feel connected. This was an entertaining read with great characters, romance and drama.

After growing tired of dating the same kind of women, Jake’s friends suggest this new dating app/restaurant. It is called Blind Dates. Daters are matched through the app, where if they want to, they can start chatting. Then a date is held at the Blind Dates restaurant. The thing is that while at dinner, you can’t see the other person. The entire date is held in the dark. The participants then can either agree to continue communicating via the app or meet in person. Jake agrees to this arrangement with his friends picking his dates. Jake’s first date is disastrous. The second date is very promising.

Lauren is working as an executive assistant to a major CEO of a corporation. This is just a temporary position as she works toward her goals. Lauren gets talked into the Blind Date app/dinner by her friend and roommate. Lauren finds her match intriguing but is not quite ready to meet him face to face after their first date. Lauren accidentally discovers who her match is when they send messages to each other while in the same room.

Lauren and Jake, a beautiful match. Lauren battles perceptions and her past while Jake fights for her.

I find myself enjoying the premise of the series. Friends setting up friends on blind dates. The dating in the dark concept sounds great. Count me in for the rest of the series. Fun and enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this book. The premise of the blind date is one I have never come across before. Made the portion of the actual blind date extremely interesting. I couldn’t even imagine. Not too sure of how I would feel. Jake is talked into going on this blind date by his friends (the boys club). How it turns out is hysterical and you really feel for the guy.

Lauren is an PA for Cade. He’s a wonderful boss and doesn’t want to ever lose her. Things get tense and unnerving when the previous owner is a disrespectful and extremely rude man. Since Lauren is the first line defence, she gets the brunt of this disparaging man.

This book will have you swooning and tense and on your toes throughout.

I enjoyed this romance story. This is not my first book by this author but this is one of my favorites yet. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her writing skills and her ability to make her stories pop. This is a well written story about two people who have been hurt in the past. What happens when they go on a bilind date? You don’t want to miss what happens in this story. He is hiding his true identity, what will she do when she finds out who he really is? They are such great characters and have great growth throughout the story. Their chemistry makes the story easy to read. I enjoyed how they pulled me into the story from the start. They had me coming back for more and made the story hard to put down. I really enjoyed their story. I highly recommend this book.

Lovely..lovely story! It swept me up into this world! I admit I love office tropes with the added benefit of a group of best friends. This one covers both very well. That the friends are all guys is even better. Their discussions, poker nights and even how they stand up for each other help make this a series I want more of. The two main characters are so different but the meet-cute levels the playing field. Watching them move forward is a delight to my senses.

This is a story I am glad I picked up. Watching the characters grow, change and come to acceptance made me happy. I look forward to more in this series and from this author.

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise

What happens when you let your friend’s pick a blind date for you? After all, finding your own dates hasn’t worked well because as soon as people know who you are or see your name they see dollar signs. Jake, a self made billionaire, is simply looking for love. He is tired of every woman he meets to only want him for his money and what his position can do for them. So when a deal turns serious Jake must let each of his friend’s pick a blind date for him. All first dates take place at a blind date restaurant where you cannot see the person you’re on a date with and you only get limited information at introduction.

Likewise, Lauren is just looking for a man who likes to live comfortably. Not the rich guys she is surrounded by working for her billionaire boss. Her friend Catherine pressures her into going on a blind date of Catherine’s choosing. When Lauren relents and allows Catherine her attempt at matchmaker, she is thrust into a blind date where you can’t see who you’re on a date with. What happens when you mix two people who are completely opposite of what they want or their normal type? What happens when the lights come on and you realize your blind date was a closer acquaintance than you realized?

While I did enjoy this book I thought Lauren was a bit whiny about the financial issue. While I understand she doesn’t want to be seen as a gold digger like her mom it got irritating at her questioning everything. Though if you get past that it was a good book that if you like romance novels with sexy billionaires you should definitely read it.

Jake has money, that’s true. But he wants to be loved for him, not his money.
Lauren has a thing about people with money, she is not rich but she is comfortable.
When their friend suggests a blind date. Little did Lauren and Jake know they were being set up. Well that’s all you get from me on this story. The writer is new to me. But I can tell you her story is well written and keeps you reading. Her concept for the blind date app is a great angle, and leaves her story open to add on. I fell in love with her main characters, and look forward to the next book in the series.

I really liked this book. It was well written and a quick read. Jake and his friends agreed to select a blind date from an app for each other. Jake is the first to be set up. The typical girls they have dated are always after their money or status. The App is suppose to be a way for them to meet someone on literally a true blind date. I really loved the concept of the app as it is definitely unique. Lauren’s friend who is rich wants to set her up using the same app. The biggest issues Lauren has with her friend setting her up is that she doesn’t want someone who has money. Who she ends up on the blind date with is the last person she expected. I can’t wait to read the next installment.

Jake is fed up with the dating pool in his circle, he has always been the one night stand kind of guy, but when his friend invests in a blind dating restaurant Jake becomes intrigued and his friends decide to choose his dates.

Lauren has had her fair share of wealthy, up themselves and treats woman like commodities so when her friend and boss decides to set her up on a blind date, it can go one of two ways and Lauren is hoping she will not regret.

This is the first book I have read by this author and found this book charming and well written. The character of Jake although screams Alpha male is smoothed around the edges and offers a great insight into his world, building the relationship with Lauren was lovely to read. Although at first I thought the character of Lauren seemed to be a not so confident woman as the story continues she becomes more confident and a great partner to Jake.

The secondary characters were brilliant and would love to read stories involving these people in the next books in this series.

Interesting spin on dating
This is the first book in the Billionaire Blind Dates series. I really enjoyed the refreshing take that this author took on blind dating. Even though this was a quick read, there is a depth to the writing that drew me in. The characters are well rounded and I was genuinely invested in the outcome. Jake and Lauren are a brilliant couple. I am very keen to find out more about the other billionaires. Highly recommend.

This was a great 5 star read. A great start to a new series.
Jake is having a hard time finding a woman that wants him for him. So the idea comes up for him to have a blind date. Lauren is jaded from rich arrogant men. When she is convinced to go on a blind date, things take a different direction altogether for her. They have an instant connection and agree to another date. Will they be able to make it work?
Overall I really enjoyed this book, and loved the concept of a dark room date. Sounds really interesting. I loved both Jake and Lauren, they were perfect for each other. Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance, with an intriguing twist on the usual blind date theme. Jake is one of five men who have mutual business opportunities, and who want to find real love in a world where everyone knows who they are, and what’s in their bank account. Jake decides to use a new blind date service after his last girlfriend only wanted him for his money. Everything is done through an app, and dinner dates are done in the dark, to see if the couple get on or not without actually seeing each other. Meanwhile, Lauren ends up going on a blind date when her boss’s sister begs her to go, and she reluctantly agrees.
However, her and Jake get on really well and have a great date, there’s only one problem and that is that Lauren doesn’t like rich men! She’s had bad experiences before, when men expected her to bow down to them just because they have money, and she hates being thrust into the media. It turns out that how Lauren will react when she discovers who Jake is, will not be the couples only problem, as it then turns out that Lauren is one of Jake’s friends assistant. I liked both Jake and Lauren and felt engaged with them, and their chemistry came across in the narrative. This was a page turner with great characters, and enough drama along with the romance, that I was kept hooked until the last page. I look forward to book two in this new series.

Jake and Lauren are both lovely characters and couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. They know eachother through friends but never even thought about dating until they are both set up on a blind date. Blind date is actually what it sounds like. They meet in total darkness, eat in darkness and don’t see eachother at all through their meal. Right away they seem to hit it off but something is holding Lauren back from. They continue talking to eachother online using the dating app until one day they find out who the other is. It couldn’t be more perfect. Loved this book! 5 + stars

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise

This is the first book in the Billionaires Blind Date Series. This is a story about finding love in someone you never expected to find. I love the author’s twist on the blind date thing where the characters have to use their senses other than sight to connect with another person. I like this idea because you can really fall for the person and not the way they look.

Jake is a very wealthy man. He has women throwing themselves at him but most of them are just after his money. After his past failed relationship he’s about ready to give up on finding a woman who wants him for the person he is and not the money in his bank.

Lauren has a dislike for rich men. Everyone that she knows think that women should be grateful for their time and attention and Lauren hates that. All she wants is nice respectable man.

So when Jake and Lauren get thrown into a blind date party in the dark neither of them know who they are connecting with but the connection is definately there.

When all is revealed Lauren is concerned that people will think she’s with Jake for his money and no matter how much Jake reassures her that he knows that’s not the case it puts strain between them. Added pressure comes when Lauren’s mother wants Jake to give her money.
What happens next is a whirlwind story as Jake and Lauren try to protect their growing relationship while silencing the doubters that want to see them fail.
Can they get through all this additional pressure? Will Lauren always feel like people are doubting her reason for being with Jake?

This book was so cute, original and just such a fun read! The story is around blind dates but not in the typical sense of blind dates that we are accustomed too, but where the people meet in darkness and get to talk/interact where they cannot see the person. This version of blind dates would be something that I would enjoy being a part of as this way you met and fall for the person not their appearance. Jake is one of the main characters who has had a bad go of dating as the women who chose him only want him for his money. On the other hand, Lauren does not have a lot of money nor does she like rich men as she does not want to be thought of as a gold digger. When they met sparks fly but will it be enough for them to stay together through different trials and tribulations? This book was wonderful and the authors’ writing style was wonderful! I cannot wait to read more books written by this author as well as more books in the series.

Ok first I will say that going on a blind date in a completely dark restaurant is odd but kind of intriguing at the same time. This book was great. Jake wants to find someone to love him for him, not his money. Lauren is always working with no social life to speak of. Their friends set them up on a blind date at the blind date restaurant. When Lauren finds out that her date is her boss’s friend whom she has met previously she is concerned. The last thing she wants is to seem like a gold digger. Will they hit it off? Will he give her a chance knowing she is just an assistant? I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

This book is book one of the series. I’ve never read anything by this author but I enjoyed this book.

Jake hasn’t had any luck with dating. Which is understandable when everyone knows who Jake is and how much money he has. It’s hard to know who is just using you for what you can do for them. During poker night, Jake’s friends talk him into not giving up and instead they are all going to use a blind date service but they can’t pick their own dates. Jake doesn’t really want to but figures he has nothing to lose. Lauren just wants to find a nice, respectful man to share a life with. She’s got a painful past and rich men who think they own the world are kind of a trigger for her. After some convincing from her bosses (who happens to be Jake’s friend Cade) sister, Catherine she decides to give blind dates a try, even if just to get her off her back. Neither Lauren or Jake expected these dates to ho anywhere but they click. What will happen when Jake and Lauren learn more about the other?

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the premise and the characters were easy to like. It was well written and I can’t wait to read the next book.

So hale and his mates get together for a round of poker and now that he’s free again they’re all keen to set him up but he’s a little nervous , he wants someone who sees him for Jake the man and not his purse strings ……

Lauren has a thing against rich men , she doesn’t like that see woman as an “accessory “ she feels that because they’re so wealthy they can dictate and while it’s true in some instances I feel it’s an unfair “judgment” but she her reasons …

So Jake and Lauren seem to hit it off but there’s a slight twist in the tale … Lauren’s friend Catherine has a brother Cade and she works for him but get this he’s Jakes’s friend so you can imagine their surprise when Jake visits Cade and puzzle pieces start fitting together …. I had a chuckle but I was also nervous as to Lauren’s reaction but it turns out I had no worries that is until Lauren’s mum pulls a nasty move , girl this is your daughter back off ! I was mad 😡 but these 2 ride this challenge as well …..they’ve got their cheerleaders 😍

Such a fun read actually and it was so easy to love these characters and cheer them on in their journey of love and happiness ❣️
