Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1) by Toni Denise – Review by Angela Shirley
Jake by Toni Denise
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Jake is fed up with the dating pool in his circle, he has always been the one night stand kind of guy, but when his friend invests in a blind dating restaurant Jake becomes intrigued and his friends decide to choose his dates.
Lauren has had her fair share of wealthy, up themselves and treats woman like commodities so when her friend and boss decides to set her up on a blind date, it can go one of two ways and Lauren is hoping she will not regret.
This is the first book I have read by this author and found this book charming and well written. The character of Jake although screams Alpha male is smoothed around the edges and offers a great insight into his world, building the relationship with Lauren was lovely to read. Although at first I thought the character of Lauren seemed to be a not so confident woman as the story continues she becomes more confident and a great partner to Jake.
The secondary characters were brilliant and would love to read stories involving these people in the next books in this series.
