The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe – Review by Jessica Leombruno

The Memory of UsThe Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If I could describe this book in one word it would be – FATE. The Memory of Us by Lisa Sorbe had the right amount of a push-pull relationship with a side of an emotional roller coaster to keep you turning the pages. Elena and Weston are meant to be together no matter the length of time apart or distance between them. As this was my first book by this author and I’m a sucker for a good second chance romance: I really enjoyed Elena and Weston’s story. This book needs to be on everyone’s TBR for the year.

Player (21st Century Courtesan Book 1) by Pamela DuMond – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Player (21st Century Courtesan #1)Player by Pamela DuMond
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Player is the first book in the 21st Century Courtesan series by Pamela DuMond and my first book by this author. I will admit the blurb is what caught my eye and it didn’t disappoint. The book started a little slow but you need to understand where Evie’s life took a turn. By halfway, I couldn’t put this book down because things just took a turn and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Evie and Dylan were so comfortable with one another that I can see why Evie didn’t want to go back to her life in Chicago. Now, I have so many questions that I need the next book ASAP!

The Debt Collector (An Underground Bad Boys Romance) by India Kells – Review by Jessica Leombruno

The Debt Collector (An Underground Bad Boys Romance)The Debt Collector by India Kells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Debt Collector by India Kells was my first book by this author and Holy Hottness are the first words that come to mind to describe this book. If you’re looking for a fast-paced book that has equal parts of mystery and steamy dirty bedroom scenes then this is your book. Tessa an ER Doctor gets mixed up in a sex slave ring while helping a girl out of a bad situation. Locke is a man who is trying to take down the ring one girl at a time until Tessa might be the only one to help out.

Tessa and Locke have some chemistry just between them but when they add a sexy underground fighter who just happens to be Locke’s best friend and side lover; things start to get real for Locke. Locke is a man that is hard to love thru out this book, but you slowly warm up to him by the end. I’m begging that India will write a book just for Gage, I want more of the sexy fighter.

Beats of the Heart (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 1) by Charli B. Rose – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Beats of the HeartBeats of the Heart by Charli B. Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beats of the Heart by Charli B. Rose is a Rockstar romance that ends on a cliffhanger but I still say you need to read it. I have read a lot to Rockstar romance but this story was a little different – Izzy and Dawson are already a couple, they are childhood friends turn lovers for about 3 years now. I’m so used to the boy meets girl, fall in love type book, this was a nice change. Izzy and Dawson are perfect for each other; supportive of the others dreams and do everything to make this long-distance relationship work.
For this being Charli’s first novel, I have to say well done. The story flows and had me feeling every word. I am sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the next book to come out so I can find out what happens next.

Claiming Her Mates (Claiming Her Mates Book 1) by Dia Cole – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Claiming Her Mates (Claiming Her Mates #1)Claiming Her Mates by Dia Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Paranormal Romances are something that I haven’t read in quite some time but, Claiming Her Mates by Dia Cole has reminded me of why I use to read these books. This wolf shifter romance story kept me entertained with the suspense and mystery – I’m not crazy about the zombie part, that’s just me. (So I am not holding that against my review.) But the characters were so likable and swoon-worthy, that I want more.
The Romance Reader in me loved the chemistry between Havana and her men (Mason, Gabriel, and Liam). And don’t get me started on the steamy sexy moments – so yummy! This might have been my first book by Dia and I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next.

Guilty Pleasures Volume 2 by Joyce McCarthy – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Guilty Pleasures Volume 2Guilty Pleasures Volume 2 by Joyce McCarthy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Guilty Pleasures Volume 2 by Joyce McCarthy is the perfect tile for this collection of quick erotic stories. This is a great late night dirty read that will have you needing some cold water nearby. The main character Brad has been a very bad boy and seems to find himself in some steamy positions. There were five different sexual fantasies with five different women. We all have imaged some of these fantasies at some point in our lives – older/younger, teacher/student etc.. Read this book if you’re looking to spice up your bedroom life!

Once Upon a Romance (A Dream Come True Book 1) by Alex Bailey – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Once Upon a Romance (A Dream Come True Book 1)Once Upon a Romance by Alex Bailey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Once Upon a Romance by Alex Bailey was just the little bit of “magic” I miss at Christmas time. I lived in Florida most of my life and a “Disney Christmas” was a favorite of mine for years; nobody does Christmas better than Disney. This book brought back so many amazing memories for me. This author was detailed in everything that you will see, that I felt like I was on the Magical Disney trip right alongside Sophie and Ariel. Everyone needs to experience the “Magic” of Disney once in their life no matter how old you are.

Getting the Goods by Elizabeth Perry – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Getting the GoodsGetting the Goods by Elizabeth Perry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Getting the Goods by Elizabeth Perry is my first book by this author and she has got herself a new fan. This book was a quick read that will have you holding your side from the laughing pains till the end. “Steal the sperm” may have got me to read this book but it was laughing at loud writing that won me over. Poor Gabriella sure knows how to make a first impression and a second one too. But it was her no filter – says anything attitude that had me loving her character.

Don’t take my word for how funny sweet and sexy this book is; I highly recommend you pick up this book for yourself and find out.

A Must for Christmas: A Darling Cove Novella by Deborah Garland – Review by Jessica Leombruno

A Must for Christmas: A Darling Cove NovellaA Must for Christmas: A Darling Cove Novella by Deborah Garland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Must for Christmas was the perfect Christmas novella for the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. I love quick novellas that give you updates on series that you fell in love with. Faith is 30 days from her due date for the twins and the Mallory family is getting ready for Christmas. Can Faith and Greg get a Christmas miracle? What an emotional roller-coaster this book was; I missed these characters and didn’t want this book to end. I want more from this series and this author.
