Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia Book 4) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Naughty & NiceNaughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Naughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander is the fourth book in the Adult-Theme Park series. It’s the wedding that we have been waiting for at Spiceopia. Natalie Roux is feeling the pressure to put on the first big event which just happens to be her boss’s wedding. But it’s the officiate Micah Greene that will have Natalie thinking naughty and not so nice thoughts. Each book in this series has brought something different but Natalie and Micah might be my favorite. There was just something about them that I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to see if there will be more books for this series. I highly recommend this series my naughty BookNerds.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hula Girl by Lara Ward Cosio was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last. Ford and Ava’s story started as a Vacation Romance full of steamy licking tequila turned into Fake Engagement that was a page-turner wanting to know what was going to happen next.

Lara’s writing was so detailed that you would have thought the island of Maui was a character. Every character in this book was easy to love or hate and get very attached to what was going on with them. I was ready to book a trip just so I could meet a sexy surfer boy and be his hula girl.

Loving Jake (Almost Perfect Series Book 1) by Lisa Lanay – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Loving Jake (Almost Perfect Series Book 1)Loving Jake by Lisa Lanay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Loving Jake was a sweet slow-burn romance with a little bit of a twist to keep you on the edge. I love a good forbidden romance and this best friend’s little sister one was a great read.

Kimberly has always been in love with Jake Taylor. When he returns home to help his grandfather and needs a place to stay, it was Kim’s sister’s idea to offer up Kim’s spare room.

With Lisa Lanay being a new author to me, her writing was surprisingly good. Her characters were relatable and enjoyable to read. Really looking forward to the next book after the tease of the first chapter.

Highly recommend checking out this book/author.

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Revive (Rewind #3)Revive by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

My curiosities about Patrick are finally answered. Revive is an emotional one night stand turned doctor/patient romance with dealing with bisexuality. We all know the people who say they don’t do relationships are the ones who fall the hardest. Patrick and Brandon have smokin’ chemistry but at times the back and forth got a little too much. It was good to see characters from the previous books and meeting some new ones too.

I love how Rowan Shaw takes real situations in the LGBT world and adds them to her books. I have said this before but Rowan is quickly becoming a fave author of mine who writes M/M romances. So looking forward to Rebound.

Sassy Fire & Steamy Ice!

Who doesn’t love a good hate to love relationship and then add in an adult theme park on top this makes for a good book. Enya and Neve are not big fans of one another but when they get stuck together for work, can they make their new relationship work while working together.

This sizzling fast-paced suspense will have you turning the pages and not wanting it to end. If you are like me and like your romances with side kinkiness then you need to read this series. Because Phoebe Alexander knows how to bring the SEXY back into my life.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stars Fall from the Sky by K.G. Fletcher was heartwrenching and heartwarming all at the same time. I had tears in my eyes the whole time while reading this book.

Ginger McCormick had the perfect life husband and a baby girl till a tragedy struck from nowhere and her world collapsed. Can the new doctor Jonathon Waldon be what Ginger and Daisy need to right their world?

I loved K.G.’s Southern Promises series but she is being something more emotional to the Reigning Hearts series. I highly recommend you check out this author’s books because you never know what each book will bring you.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow! Virtue & Vice was an erotic book that I couldn’t stop reading. Moon and Katja have been asked to move and help start this adult-only theme park with Cy and Jolie who they just meet, will they take the offer Cy has given them? I thought the first book was HOT but Phoebe stepped up her game in this book. These characters are great; I went into this book not really knowing what was going to happen between these couples but I’m glad everything is working out between them. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what is going to happen next on Purple Island.

Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1)Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If the blurb doesn’t have you wanting to read this book then let me just tell you – Sugar & Spice doesn’t even begin to describe this book. Cy has never had a “REAL” job and his family has him going uncover in the family theme park. When Cy first lays eyes on Red Velvet Queen “Jolie” he has to know more about this beautiful woman. But will this single mother be able to forgive Cy when/if she finds out who he really is?

I am still a new reader to Phoebe Alexander but this series just became a must-read for me. All the characters were wonderful but there was just something about Cy and Jolie chemistry that made them click. I can’t wait for the rest of the series; it’s going to some fun times at the theme park.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This over the top sweet romance had me glued to kindle till I was done with the last page. Teddy Cat Hester is a new author to me and I was shocked by how much I really enjoyed Run From Love. I normally like my romances to have some heat to them but the writing of these characters and the storytelling; didn’t have me missing the heat at all.

Scarlett is set with not letting her “relationships” going pass 6 months so she won’t get hurt. But Nick is determined to make Scarlett change her rules. These two had me laughing, wants to punch someone and on the verge of tears if they didn’t stick together.

Nick’s son Noah and Scarlett’s dogs Daffy and Dilly were icing on the perfect cake in this story. I can’t wait to read more from this group friends.

When Terri was attacked one night coming home, everything changes in her life even her relationship with Jet. While they stay behind for Spring Break, Jet makes a point to not let Terri stay cooped up in her room. With these two alone, their relationship starts to change.

I love a story where the bad boy is trying to redeem some of his past choices and the woman who loves him anyway isn’t really looking for a relationship. The interactions between Joe/Gwen and Heath/Gabbi were funny and fun to read; loved how great friends/family they all were together. We all know that everything you put on Twitter can and will be used against you at some point. Rose found that out when she posted “Did Mathew Anderson really need another home in NYC” Never did Rose think that would lead to a trip to NYC to meet Mathew.

A Protector’s Touch is a wonderful empowering story of finding strength and believing that not every man is an abuser. This was my first book by Parker Sinclair and would love to read more. This book might not be liked by everyone to do the nature of the topic but I find it moving and April’s courage inspiring.

April and Shan have always looked and wanted to talk to one another but because of April’s ex, they never did. With her relationship over, Shan picked the right moment to play knight in shining armor and April’s life changed for the better. With Shan and her best friend Nia by her side, she has the strength to finally face and do something about her abuser. There is instant chemistry between Shan and April and I liked the slow burn feel between the two.

I would love to see April’s best friend get a book next.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been a fan of this series since the first book, but Adrift in New Zealand might just be the best book in the series. Aviva Vaughn has done such an amazing job with this series; I really don’t want to see it end.

We last left with Soren happy in Costa Rica with Elena and finally feeling like he found his purpose. But what happens when life takes a turn and things change again for Soren. I liked Elena but I didn’t see her as his HEA. Halfway through I got a little worried for Soren; I have been heartbroken for him so many times I almost gave up hope on him finding that one true love.

Aviva, you have made this fangirl very happy with how this series has turned out. This is something I have wanted to happen since part 4. I will admit that screamed when he smelled roses and someone from the past showed up (HAPPY DANCE).

I recommended this series to everyone not only looking for romance – which is wonderful but for an adventure as well.

This dark second chance romance with the roller-coaster of emotions was addicting. The edgy twist and turns took me down the dark rabbit hole and I couldn’t leave until I finish this book. The flashbacks helped me understand more of what Manny has been through and what his relationship with Zoe was like.
