I haven’t read a mystery in quite a while but the blurb for this grabbed my attention and I have to say it did not disappoint for even a second! I loved everything about it but especially the wonderful characters, Maeve, Will and all her family. Each and every character was so well written you can’t help but fall for them all and everything that they bring to this creative storyline.
This is a new author for me and she now has a devoted fan in me for sure. I can’t wait for more!!

I have loved every book of this wonderful series and this one was no exception! I love Buckeye Falls and all the quirky, loveable characters. I was immediately drawn into the story and the wonderful main characters right from the start. Straight away you could tell that James had a big heart and Alice had plenty of fire and spirit. I wanted to slap her parents right at the very beginning LOL. I guess that is a sign that the authors exceptional writing had me feeling very attached to Alice already. It should be noted that you can honestly read this book as a stand alone but seriously why would you want to miss out on the rest of this fantastic series. Do yourself a huge favour and read them all!!

I have to say I was captivated by this story and the characters right from the very start. I think one big reason is that Blake and Morgan are such well written, relatable characters that they immediately draw you in and hold you captive. Ciara is a sassy little pocket rocket and I loved her too! This is the first book I have read by this talented author and it most definitely won’t be my last. I started this series with book 2 but in no way was my reading experience hinder by that. I will of course now be reading book 1 simply because this author now has a new fan and I want to read all that I can.

This book was so what I needed this week to lift my spirits! I laughed so many times that my family kept wanting to know what was going on with me LOL. I am a total Christmas junkie so as soon as I read the book blurb I just had to read it and I was not disappointed for even a second. Filled with gorgeous characters, a wonderful storyline and set in a town I so wish I could visit, I was captivated from start to finish. It is my first read of this wonderful author and I just know that I will be reading more as soon as I can.

This is the first Novella in what I am certain will be a fantastic series. Bella is a wonderful character who goes through a lot in this short story and begins her transformation to find herself again. A short and fun read I really enjoyed it and I’m not usually a fan of short books. I’m looking forward to more because I need to know what is next for Bella.

Wild For Me (Balefire, #3)Wild For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This amazing series follows the band Balefire and brings with it wonderful characters, fun storylines and of course loads of sex and rock ‘n’ roll. This particular book is Dakota and Annabelle’s story and it will pull you in and keep you hooked. There is one character I really hate right now and I so hope Karma catches up with him somewhere in the next books of the series. Even though these are written as standalones I would read right from the start just to have things flow better for you. You won’t regret it I promise you!!

I have to be honest and admit I wasn’t as connected to this story or its characters as much as I had hoped I would be when I first started reading it BUT that does not mean that you won’t be and I still recommend you reading it for yourself. Mitch and Mia navigate through a lot of lies and secrets to get to their happy ending and the twists and turns created by those lies will keep you intrigued I am sure.

I LOVE this series and the fantastic characters brought to life by this talented author. They weave their way straight into your heart and stay there long after you’ve read the last word. I really loved Teddy and Summer. They are such fun characters. They have been friends for years and even though they had feelings for each other neither one was brave enough to tell the other. Life took them in different directions but now they are both back in Bluestone and they can’t fight their attraction and longer. This book can absolutely be read as a stand alone but why do that and miss out on all the other amazing books in this series!! Grab them all and get bingeing! You won’t regret even a second of it.

Gabby is a young widow and is being pressured to live a certain life. She wants to make her father and others around her happy but in doing so she is completely putting aside the chance to find her own happiness. I actually think Gabby is a much stronger person than she gives herself credit for being. It is an emotional journey for her for sure. The author created a great storyline and wonderful characters to entertain her readers. This is book 6 in the series, however it is the first book in this series that I have read and my enjoyment was in no way hindered by having not read the rest of the series.

I have to say I loved being a teenager in the 80s and this book brought it all back to me making me very nostalgic but oh so damn happy!! I loved it! Blaine inherited her mothers store that has all things 80s and when developers buy the mall it is in and wants to take it all away she comes up with a very interesting bet that Eric, one of the developers, simply can’t pass up and that’s where all the fun begins. I really needed this fun read at the moment and I thank this very talented author for adding some laughter and light to my life with her creative storylines and wonderful characters!

This is the first book in quite a while where I have wanted to reach into the pages and slap one of the main characters up the side of the head or as my daughter would say Gibbs slap him!! LOL To me that is the sign of a talented author if they can have the reader that invested in the lives of the characters they have created, that they have such a emotional response to the storyline. I loved Ava and Matthias and I can’t wait to explore more books from this truly wonderful author.

Refrain (Off the Record Book 3)Refrain by Madelynne Ellis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The best way to sum this book up is to simply say it is written by a very talented author who gives us a storyline and characters that are dark, gritty and full of emotion. Now I stupidly came to this series in book 3. Take my advice and don’t do that! Start from book one because it took me a while to get a proper grip on who everyone was and I only had a slight understanding of what had happened prior. I really believe had I started from the very beginning that I would have enjoyed the book so very much more because I would have understood the characters more. I will now go back and start again! This series is so worth it!

Sing For Me (Balefire, #2)Sing For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

First up I have to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this fun series!! Set around the Rock Band Balefire each book is full of fantastic characters and interesting storylines. Some of them you will love and some you will love to hate!! lol well I know I sure did anyway. This book is set around Balefires lead singer Blu who meets his mums neighbour Ashleigh and is instantly attracted to her but for the first time in a very long time he has to actually work to make a connection with her instead of her just falling for him straight away because of who he is. I love these two characters so much and loved reading their story as they come together. I can’t wait to read more about the boys of Balefire. I love this authors style and fun storylines so I am sure there is a lot more fun coming our way with this amazing series. I say bring it on!!!!

Wow just wow!! What an amazing start to what I just know will be a fantastic series. It truly is so very much more than I expected from a contemporary sports romance. Beckett and Paige are wonderful characters who go through so much, especially Beckett, but with the hard times comes a lot of personal growth. All the trials and tribulations are so well written by this talented author that you will be hooked from start to finish just like I was. When I first started reading this book I had definite perceived ideas of who these characters were going to be but oh boy was I so wrong because they were so so much more than I could ever have imagined.
