Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 2) by CA Miconi – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Be One with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs, #2)Be One with Me by C.A. Miconi
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

While this is the second book in the series, you do not have to have read the first book prior to this one. There are some overlapping characters, but nothing that would keep a reader from understanding this story. This book focuses on Sally and Nolan.
Sally is a successful city girl that finds herself in the country when she needs to escape the city and her feelings of loneliness. Her mother has passed away and she has just survived a violent attack. She is determined to find out about her long lost father after her mother provides information when she is on her death bed. Nolan is a successful country boy that can’t ever see himself leaving this town. He has lost his wife to cancer and also finds himself alone.
These two come from two different worlds, so can they put their differences aside to pursue the attraction between them? Can they both let their guard down to let each other in? This is a slow burn book…which is necessary given their situations. I laughed…cried…and enjoyed every minute.

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4) was a 5 star read and a great compilation of wedding stories by these nine great authors: Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Stephanie Queen, Mona Risk, Jen Talty, Patrice Wilton.

One of my favorites was the “Two Heart’s Alliance” by Tamara Ferguson. These two had me all over the place with their story. There was so much going on and just when you think things are going to work out another twist occurs.

Overall I really enjoyed all of the stories. Each author brings their own unique stories and you get pulled into each one. My emotions were all over the place. We get twists and turns and great characters. These compilations give me an opportunity to read new authors. I can’t wait to read more from them and get pulled into their worlds. There are a variety of stories- all engrossing from beginning to end. From wounded warrior, sweet romance, pretend boyfriend, second chances, and of course lots of weddings.
All the stories are quite captivating, interesting, and well-rounded. So, what better way to spend a day than curled up with a ‘feel good’ book full of wonderfully romantic stories.

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4)

This anthology has a little bit of something for everyone. I cannot pick a favorite because I truly loved them all, and they each have their own originality to them. I just finished the last book in this wonderful anthology full of emotion, I laughed, cried, got angry, and swooned. I found myself rooting for Jeremy and Christine in Two Hearts’ Alliance or laughing when Natalie almost hit Max with her car and as she’s walking away she says thank you, in Playing With Brides. Each of these stories touched my heart in one way or another. There are some authors that I am acquainted with and there were some that this is the first time I have read their work and I look forward to reading more because every single one of these authors are very talented writers.
I highly recommend reading this collection, you will not be disappointed!!

The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2)
By M. Billiter with Kyle Thomas
5 out of 5 stars

The story The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2) by M. Billiter with Kyle Thomas is a psychological thriller book. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down. The story tells the tale of Aaron and Branson. They are twins who are in their final year of college. There is also a third twin, David, who only exists in one of their minds. When their mother is diagnosed with cancer it sets off events that seem to tear the brothers apart. What does the future hold for Aaron and Branson? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me guessing what was going to happen next. You can feel the conflict and at times anger that was part of the character’s lives. I couldn’t help but empathize with Aaron and Branson as they had a hard and difficult childhood. This is a story that has heartbreaking moments as well as moments that will make you think. Don’t miss out on a story that you won’t want to put down until the final page. I found myself thinking about it even after I had finished the book. I would highly recommend reading it.

Ashes To Ashes Boxset (books 1-3)
By Rowena Holloway
5 out of 5 stars

This is a boxset of three stories that are mystery/thrillers. They pulled me in right from the start and didn’t let me go until the final page. I was on the edge of my seat and turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. The stories are told in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the main character of Charlotte in her investigations. I loved the character of Charlotte Ashe. She is a woman who when she starts down a path, she is determined to get answers. She is intelligent, independent, and strong. Other additional characters help Charlotte and then there are those who I wondered about their motives. These stories have twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. They kept me guessing. Don’t miss out on a set of stories that will have you reading far into the night to finish them. I highly recommend this boxset.

The Matchmaker and The Marine: A Second Chance Small-Town Romance by Lucinda Race is a brilliant book with such strong and captivating characters. I loved the connection between Melinda and Adam, it has such a sweet beginning and blossomed into so much more.
I thought the author had a great balance between some deep, emotional topics and the sweet romantic story. Both had their place and both felt like they worked in this book. It was so nice to see the friendship between the 2 characters develop, and then develop into more.
This was my first book by this author and I was impressed with her writing style and how she draws the reader in. This is a fantastic book and one I would highly recommend.

Be One With Me by C.A. Miconi is the second book in the Find Love in Green Springs series. This is a sweet story that really gets you rooting for the characters. The author has done a great job of creating characters that are easy to love with a great connection between them.
The story I found to be well paced. It had a little bit of everything to keep you interested and plenty of romance to make things exciting. It was easy to get lost in the pages of this book and just follow what was going on in the characters lives. Although I haven’t read the first book in this series I found the story easy to follow. This was an enjoyable book and one I enjoyed.

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles, Book 3) by India Kells – Review by Lisa Helmick

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles #3)Dead Magic by India Kells
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is quite the story that took me on ups and downs with this couple. I really was looking forward to this book as I loved the fire and spice between this witch and vamp. We get taken on a journey with these two. One has been damaged and finding help is what spurs them. They are each thrown off kilter in their individual worlds as well as their joined world.

It is great seeing all the crew from previous stories again. Plus we get a bit more of Hunter the human. He really has become invaluable to these paranormals. I was also happy to see that Abrams the ghoul got a bit more of a part as well since he is intriguing.

This is the third in the series and could be read as a stand alone. While I was eagerly awaiting their story I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would. I just didn’t feel their fire and spice like I expected. It’s still a great story that takes the reader to different places and touches on the dark side of things. Overall it was very enjoyable and I didn’t put it down until I found out what happened with these two.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rebecca Steele is a upcoming Country Star, come on the adventure and see what happens next.

I had not read the first story but feel that this can be read as a standalone story, you find Becky a well rounded woman who finds she has to overcome a fear and loved how you follow her through the book as though you are part of the story. I think the story was well written and the character where well developed. This is the first story I have read by this author and would love to read more.

This is my first book by this author and definitely will not be my last. I love a good family novel especially when it deals with real life issues.

I will admit there were times I got totally confused and lost in the story and had to go back and read a few things a second time to get on the same page as where the author was going. There were a lot of moving parts to this book and again it took me a bit to catch on in a few places. In saying all of that, this had an awesome storyline and some great characters as well as some not so great.

I really felt like the author tied things up nicely at the end and even in the few places I wasn’t able to get organized in my head, in the end it was all ok. It did have an easy flow and I think I would actually like to read it again after a bit of time, and I would absolutely recommend it.

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay is my favourite from the series. It is a great story and the plot is good. The characters are strong and out to right wrongs. As always with Seelie’s stories I get lost in the action and thrills and become engrossed in the journey. She has a way of keeping one step ahead, just when you think you know what direction the story is going, you couldn’t be more wrong.

Young Adults of the rich and famous are going missing and it is up to the Agents to figure out what is happening to them before they end up dead.

Boy On Hold is my first read by J.D Spero, and I am happy to say that it won’t be my last. This is a surprising little gem- a young adult thriller- with murder, crime, trauma, loss, grief, secrets, family dynamics, mental illness, love, emotion, forgiveness, drama, and suspense. The story is told from several points of view- which gave me a really well-rounded perspective of what was happening and added extra depth to the overall story.
When Henry Trout (Hen) witnesses a shocking incident, he is left reeling- and soon his (and his family’s) life is turned upside down when his older brother is arrested for the crime. His brother’s troubling behaviour, family secrets, and the truth all wrestle- while family bonds begin to unravel. Within all this heartbreak though, lies a wonderfully touching story full of hope. I don’t want to reveal too much- as this is one of those books I think is best read knowing as little as possible, and letting the story and characters reveal themselves along the way.
Well done!

Thank you, J.D Spero!
