The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2) by M. Billiter with Kyle Thomas – Review by Bobbi Wagner

The Divided Twin (Divided #2)The Divided Twin by M. Billiter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much if not more than the first. This is a well developed story that kept me turning pages to the end. I had no problem connecting with the characters. They made the story engaging and made it easy to read. They pulled me into the story with ease and made me a part of it. In this story we have Aaron and Branson who are identical twins. There is a third twin, David, but he lives in one of the other twins minds. When their mom gets sick, David starts really coming out. What will happen when he does? This story has a few twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a fast paced page turner that I highly recommend.

TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson – Review by Bobbi Wagner

TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11)TWO HEARTS UNSPOKEN TARGETS by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the books in this series as they are all great stories. This is a well developed story that has characters I had no problems connecting with. Beth is a single mother of an autistic son who is losing her job. When the opportunity for her son comes up she makes the move to Wisconsin. Zach is a retired air captain and is wanting a new start in life. When he gets the opportunity to move to Wisconsin he takes it. What will happen when these two meet? He seems to accept Beth’s son but does he have a secret identity? Who is he? What will fate have in store for these two. I loved watching their relationship grow and their chemistry is great. I found myself hoping they would get their HEA at the end but you will have to read their story to find out. I highly recommend this book and this author.

New Jerk in Town: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy (Carolina Kisses Book 2) by Sylvie Stewart – Review by Angelina Frazzini

New Jerk in Town (Carolina Kisses, #2)New Jerk in Town by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

New Jerk in Town by Sylvie Stewart is book two of the Carolina Kisses series. This book has a little bit of everything – second chance, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers. It’s definitely a good read.

Milo and Jill haven’t seen each other in 12 years and the last time they saw each other, it wasn’t good. There’s still some resentment even all these years later but now Jill needs somewhere to stay and Milo is stepping up. With them both staying under the same roof, they have the chance to get to know each other all over again because after all, 12 years is a long time. Jill is sure Milo is nothing but a jerk but will their time together prove her wrong?

There was so much tension between these two characters but through the book you could see their feelings toward each other change and progress. You can’t help but become invested in there relationship. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next!

Feisty Heroines Romance Collection of Shorts Anthology – Review by Kerry Baker

Feisty Heroines: Romance Collection of ShortsFeisty Heroines: Romance Collection of Shorts by D.F. Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Feisty Heroines Romance Collection of Shorts: Paranormal-Contemporary Fantast-Historical Anthology is a great collection of stories by a variety of different authors. Each story is different from the rest and there is a great selection to suit all tastes.
A lot of these authors were new authors to me and I thought that this was a great way in which to discover them. As they were short stories it gave a glimpse into their writing style and really helped to whet your appetite for more.
As indicated in the title the characters in these books were all strong and independent. They knew exactly how to look out for themselves. Throw in the engaging stories and the additional characters to bulk it out and you are really in for a joyful ride when you read these books. They were the perfect length to be able to read one quickly when you had time, or a few if you had an afternoon to enjoy a bit of reading. This was a great collection and one I enjoyed immensely.

Wrapped Up In You by Erin Bevan – Review by Chantelle Smith

Wrapped Up In YouWrapped Up In You by Erin Bevan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What a brilliant Sweet Christmas read that connects you to the characters immediately, that brings you romance, heart-warming moments and just a general feel-good read! This is my first read by this author and it won’t be my last. Erin Bevan has created a read that transports you into the world alongside her characters in which you feel as though you are following along on their journey with them. Not only did this read have a sprinkle of magic and romance but also a bit of mystery as we didn’t know much about Logan, and also not knowing who Jenny would pick so with that it had me turning the pages to find out more! I loved following these characters story, I was loving them more and more as I read more of their story and I couldn’t help but wish and hope that they would get the HEA they both deserved! I highly recommend this read and can’t wait to read more from this author!

Ashes To Ashes Boxset (books 1-3) by Rowena Holloway – Review by Angela Hayes

Ashes To Ashes Boxset (books 1-3)Ashes To Ashes Boxset by Rowena Holloway
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars

The Ashes to Ashes series has arrived in a boxed set!!! What a great way to explore this gripping series by Rowena Holloway– without having to wait between books. This is a brilliant psychological suspense- with plenty of gripping moments that will have you flipping the pages, reading along to find out how everything plays out.
The boxed set contains:

Bad Things Happen (Book One)
Bad Things Happen is the first book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This proved to be a bit of a dark mystery- full of danger, suspense, deadly consequences, secrets, hard truths, cover-ups, and so much more.
Charlotte Ashe is an Aussie working in London, as the weather girl/reporter for TVWE. She is idealistic and ambitious- and aspires to be taken more seriously and eventually get to report on more hard-hitting stories. She thinks the right story may have just landed in her lap, a scoop that may just open all the doors she’s been dreaming of. But things take a dangerous turn and Charlotte will need to uncover the truth, before it’s all too late.
This book definitely has a psychological, edge of your seat, and suspenseful storyline. I was pulled into the story quite quickly and devoured it in one sitting, just to find out how everything was tied up in the end.

Less You Know (Book Two)
Less You Know is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This is quite a gripping suspense, with drama, mystery, danger, secrets, action, discoveries, twists, intrigue, and lots of tension.
We met Charlotte Ashe in the previous book- and once again follow her on her latest ‘investigation’. Her journalistic senses drive her to try to prove Tyrone Garner, former football star, now turned property developer, and all-round Mr. Popular- is actually a huge fraud.
She, along with her friend Allie, engage in some reconnaissance in order to uncover ‘evidence’. But Allie has secrets of her own, and when she disappears, Charlotte not only feels guilty for placing her friend in danger, but will also need to get to the bottom of everything, putting all the pieces together. Secrets will be revealed. Questions will be raised. Charlotte will be tested, and left questioning everything she thought she knew.
This story is definitely clever, edge of your seat reading. I was immediately hooked and couldn’t put it down until I’d read every word. As I expected, another great read from this talented author!

From The Ashes (Book Three)
OMG Charlotte has been through quite a lot since we first met her back in book one. This series has taken me on quite the journey, and has all led to this point. I have loved each book, but I definitely think Ms. Holloway has left the best till last.
From the Ashes is the third, and final book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. It is an intense psychological thriller that will tie you up in knots with the tightly woven and twisty plot. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the story- scrambling to read as quickly as I could so I could unravel the mystery, and put all the pieces together, before the final reveal. But, I had so many scenarios running through my head- Ms. Holloway twisted and turned the plot so well that I was left guessing right till the end.
I loved the gripping suspense, psychological ploys, clever mystery, dramatic developments, heightened tension, and intense danger which Ms. Holloway managed to imbue her story with. She definitely knows how to weave a great tale, and keep her readers glued to the pages.
I was both excited, and a little sad to get my hands on this book- as I really wanted to continue Charlotte’s journey, but at the same time I knew that this would be the concluding chapter. So, it has been a bit of a bittersweet experience.
Charlotte Ashe enters this story having had her life turned upside down. She’s been through so much- at the cost of her career, reputation, credibility, friendships, and even to a degree, her self-respect. She has one ‘play’ left- and she throws herself into it headfirst. Her continuing obsession with Tyrone Gardner leads her to Blaxon Hall, a private ‘clinic’, where her journalistic senses recognise the threads of a story. She needs this story to pan out, because she’s got a lot riding on the outcome. Charlotte uncovers some mystery surrounding the recent deaths at the hall- and this is where the story really ramps up in intensity and interest. Charlotte couldn’t possibly predict the ensuing events- placing herself in incredible danger along the way. What will she sacrifice in order to get to the bottom of this investigation? Because when a fire breaks out at the hall, Charlotte is one of the missing people, What happened, you ask? Well, I don’t want to spoil it for you- so I really recommend grabbing yourself a copy of this fantastic thriller, and discover all the gripping developments for yourself.
WOW… this story is definitely a clever, edge of your seat read- and as I expected, is another great story from Rowena Holloway.

So, what are you waiting for? If you love a great psychological suspense- with plenty of twists and turns- then you won’t want to miss this exciting boxed set.
I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Holloway does next!

Thank you, Ms. Holloway!

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4)IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is another installment or anthology collection from fabulous romance authors and is themed around ‘Irresistible Weddings.’ I have had the pleasure of reading some of the other themes so I was thrilled to find a wedding theme one to dive into this summer by the pool. This has eight new stories from authors that I did know and authors that were new to me. I was so excited to see that we got a Two Hearts Wounded novella from Tamara Ferguson. Two Heart’s Alliance is definitely one you won’t want to miss but this also had some other awesome stories from authors like Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, and Stephanie Queen, that I have also enjoyed before. I sincerely look forward to seeing what the next collection will be themed around. I have listed the books and authors included below to give you a hint at what some are. Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay – Review by Liz Vrchota

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5)Martimus by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fifth of the Feisty Lawyers series from Seelie Kay, and probably one of my favorite ones yet. I have read the other books in the series before diving into this one and I feel like while you could read them separately you would enjoy the book and series much more if they were read together and in order. I also have enjoyed watching Kay’s writing grow and flourish into what it is today. I loved this one because it threw in a bit of a mythical piece with the Martimus addition and I really felt that it gave this book so much dimension and intrigue that it was hard to put this down. In Martimus we find Agent Cate working on a new case of trying to find missing socialites. Things get a bit chaotic and starts to play with her relationships. I really enjoyed how things were shared in a way that you felt like you were on the edge of your seat to see how things would work out for Cate. I can sure say that this is one ending you won’t see coming, but it is absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Seelie Kay!

Not just another adventure in a suspenseful setting. The adventure begins with 8 missing women, and nobody knows of their disappearance, until the wrong girl goes missing. Upon investigation, there is so much more than expected. Is it human trafficking? Is it for money, if so how much? How about drugs? Follow Cate and the group as they work their way through another tough and challenging case.

Seelie Kay takes us through the wringer with this one. Get out the tissues, and get ready to take a ride on this new roller coaster. Martimus was not what I expected. But I was in no way disappointed. Seelie Kay has an unforgettable imagination, and will keep you wanting more. You can tell she brings her all, while reading this story. I love her characters, especially the strong-willed, independent women. This is a must read! Along with the rest of her Feisty Lawyers Series. Well Done Seelie Kay, Well Done.

Summer’s Stolen (Seasons of Magic Book 2) by Sarah Biglow – Review by Netania Lim

Summer's Stolen (A Seasons of Magic urban Fantasy Novel)Summer’s Stolen by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second in the series in which Ezri Trenton, a detective who’s also part of a magical community, takes a case when young girls go missing. I love the mix of crime and fantasy, as I did with the first one, though I probably liked that one better. This is action-packed and fast-paced, and I really appreciated the mix of characters from different backgrounds. I’d read the first book but the writing is great.

This collection of stories is amazing because they all range in different ways. There’s a lot of stories with ranges of genres. From English kings to businessmen to Irish blood suckers but these female conquerors take the show.
These books take us in different times and different periods. Each heroine teaches you something about yourself. You go on an adventure with each character through each story, learn more about them and more about yourself as well.
This is an inspirational read for any chick who loves action-packed stories. Every story is whimsical, entertaining and original in their own way. Every story is a page-turner that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each and every character is amazing and wonderful! Great pick!

Irresistible Weddings (Irresistible Romance Book 4) Anthology – Review by Faith Jackson

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4)IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In this book, we, the readers, will read eight books by 8 esteemed authors with different takes on love from different perspectives.
Tamara Ferguson, author of “Two Hearts’ Alliance,” in an arranged marriage of sorts, an unknown enemy seeks to destroy it. These two characters must prove their love to ween off the enemy if it’s a united front.
Natalie Ann’s “Eternal,” will have two people who’ve sworn off love to find their way back to the open arms of a love they never knew existed.
Suzanne Jenkins’. “Wedding At Firehouse Ranch” has a curvy girl showing a play boy how to settle down.
Cynthia Cooke’s, “All My Loving,” has Naomi with her guards up but she has to tear down her walls to have the courage to rekindle a love she’s never known.
Alicia Street’s, “Make Me Burn,” is by far one of the best as we meet Jinx who isn’t ready to settle down for love but she wants everything she can’t have. This is one of my favorites of the books in this collection.
Stephanie Queen’s, “Playing With the Bridesmaid,” these characters are on the opposite end of the age spectrum but they’re ready for love and where it takes them.
Mona Risk’s “Between Babies And Girlfriends,” follows a teenage suicidal mom who abandons twin babies when the doctor has to raise them but his girlfriend who is dying to get married won’t help him with the babies. This is another favorite as you want to wish the Dr. Brian Dutton nothing but happiness. You know his girlfriend isn’t right for him and you want someone to rescue him from himself as he’s going down the wrong road with this girlfriend of his.
Jen Talty’s, “The Right Groom” follows a runaway bride with a groom that won’t take no for an answer.
Patrice Wilton’s, “Wedding Knot,” an engaged couple has no trust but that trust is tested when two friends develop feelings for one another or will the engaged couple manage to make their way down the aisle OR will the bride choose her trusted friend to make her forever with? This is another favorite of mine.
Three of eight books I loved to read. Not that anything was wrong with the other five but my favorites are above in my summaries and I think you’ll discover your own favorites as you continue to read through this pack of stories.

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5)Martimus by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Martimus is already the fifth book in Seelie Kay’s Feisty Lawyers series. I cannot believe we are already at book number 5, it feels as if we just started! You could try to read the book as a standalone but I don’t know why one would do that as in my head the series builds the tension one book after another and you feel as if you know the gang and …yeah, do yourself a favour and start from the beginning!
Martimus gives us Agent Cate Creighton’s story who needs to figure out what is going on with all those socialites with influential parents disappearing while navigating her new relationship with a former US Navy Seal Warren Hazelton. Throw into the mix our favourite MI-6 agent Tillie Henderson and you will end up sitting at the edge of your seat until the last page! I think that the series gets better and better with each book and I cannot wait what the sixth book will throw at us!

Love Gaia: The Diary DirectiveLove Gaia: The Diary Directive by T.L. Clark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading this because it gives some idea of how our future generations will react to the right now in the future. Ahora, one of the main characters and her schoolmates, must learn savage experiences. Living a protected life, their history is appalling. The doctor and her inmates were put through an ordeal but it was a need.
The weight of authority is weighing down on them. They must remember “Truth. Admiration. Resilience” as you read through this rousing and harrowing tale of destruction, endurance, and ambition.
This is a book of determination and endurance. I love this because it teaches a great story which everybody should read and want to be a part of. A haunting yet harrowing story which is a page turner, great world building in a unique time period, easy to read, unpredictable, the characters are great, the story is original, informative and entertaining! Take the time to read this and you won’t be disappointed!

New Jerk in Town (Carolina Kisses, #2)New Jerk in Town by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

New Jerk in Town is only my second read by Sylvie Stewart and I’m loving her writing style. I have found myself being sucked by how the likable characters and funny dialogue.

Milo and Jill meet when they were teens and their timing wasn’t right. Years later, Jill returned to the same beach town and runs into Milo, he isn’t happy to see her. But the real question is what happens when they were teens?

This story jumps from the past to the present in dual POVs. Milo is a grumpy man who has a good heart and Jill has so much sass it almost too hard to handle. I can’t wait to see who’s up next in Carolina Kisses series.

Bad-tempered, impolite, problematically attractive Milo Papatonis is the king of morons. She usually tries to keep her opinions to herself but Jill has known Milo all her life and he’s done so much to her from a young age to now as adults as roommates. The truth is he’s secretly tempting to Jill but she’s in denial about it LOL.
The situation will be short-lived and platonic as well. As she decides to pack up to leave the town she knows to pursue her dreams, Jill finds that she knows what morons like Milo do and she decides to get out of dodge before she winds up with a broken heart.
By the sounds of it, it seems Jill is willing to be wrong when it comes to falling for a jerk named Milo.
This book was funny, witty, romantic, steamy and had great characters to boot. Pick up this quick read and you will NOT be disappointed!

EVERYTHING YOU BUY, EVERY CALL YOU MAKE, EVERY WEBSITE YOU LOOK AT-THERE’S A RECORD OF IT…WE’VE TRADED PRIVACY FOR CONVENIENCE

Deleted is such an exciting read of determination and personal convictions. Author Ruth Mitchell takes you on a journey full of fear, angst, moral dilemmas, and the all-consuming wonder of “what if’s.” You could debate for days over the choices and decisions Lucy and even Nick make at every turn, which gives life to the knowledge that there will be an equal amount of readers turned off by their actions as there will be sympathizers. But that is precisely what made this book, so fun and intriguing to keep turning the pages. How easy would it be to not stick to your beliefs when the world is out to destroy you. How fast would your convictions crumble while lying cold in a ditch, and nobody even remembers your name? Throughout the entire book, I kept getting flashes of what it felt like watching “The Net” in the ’90s, wanting to believe it was a work of total fiction, but knowing it was only too close to the truth that nobody wanted to acknowledge. The only question remaining is WWSBD (What would Sandra Bullock do) or, in this case, Lucy? Survive! Even when you’re Deleted

Wow what a great book! I was drawn into this story right away and unable to put it down. There are definitely some unexpected twists and turns that completely frustrated me but made it that much better. I love Lucy and Marco, their connection is epic. There are also other really great characters in this story. This book also makes you think about the bigger picture and how far can technology be taken. There are questions of morality as well. This book is filled with action, creativity, originality, and vivid detail. The author made me feel like I was watching this unfold because it felt so real and got me invested in the outcome. This book is a gem and I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this series, it is just as good as the first one if not better. I highly suggest you read book one before this one as this one will pick up where the first one left off. This is a well written story that took me on an adventure that kept me engaged and turning pages. The characters are connectable and made the story for me. This story picks up where Katie and Colm took a trip back in time. Katie finds someone to help her with her magic but is the person really a friend? Colm has to choose which side he is on. Will he choose the right side of history? Their story is one of spies, danger, magic and the adventure they go on could mean survival and fulfilling a prophecy. This is a fast paced story that I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend this book and this author.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Virtually Gone by Jacquie Biggar is the sixth book in the High-Tech Crime Solvers series. This is a story full of suspense and intrigue that certainly keeps the pages turning.
The characters in this book have been well crafted. I liked the relationship between the two partners, I felt like they complimented each other well. Each seemed to the make up for the others flaws. They were determined to solve this case and find the person responsible and it was easy to feel their urgency behind it.
The story was also really well developed. I wanted to find out what was going on and to see how the book would turn out. I thought the author did a great job of keeping you guessing with some well timed twists and turns. It was a suspenseful story that definitely kept me interested. I enjoyed reading this book and will look forward to more in the future.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Deleted by Ruth Mitchell is an absolutely phenomenal read. The concept of the story caught my eye and once I started the book I absolutely couldnt put it down. Mitchells writing and world building is incredibly original. Normally i dont read this genre, what with Science Fiction not being one of my go to’s, i was metaphorically blown out of the water. I loved following with Lucy’s story, albeit you really need to focus to catch everything that’s happening. Mitchell really knows how to hook a reader, and I definitely recommend this book!

Be One With Me ( A Finding Love in Green Springs Series Novel) by CA Miconi. I literally flew through this book!! I fell in love with Nolan and Sally from the beginning. CA Miconi did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life and I could not put this book down!!! I can not wait to meet the rest of Green Springs.

Golden Void (Black Blade Book 3) by Alexander Charalambides – Review by Sara Oxton

Golden VoidGolden Void by Alexander Charalambides
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Golden Void by Alexander Charalambides a fantastic five-star read. This is number three in the Black Blade series and they can be read as stand-alone but honestly, I have enjoyed them all as they have recurring characters who build each of the stories. Megan has a great story and one that unfolds from the first chapter, as you follow her quest you get dragged deeper into the story. One that brings characters you don’t expect and twists that will keep you hooked. This is a young adult story that brings lots of different elements to it and doesn’t dumb it down like some young adult stories. All of the quests bring something different and this one just brings the extra.
