This book was just as stunningly fabulous as the first book! I adore the illustration of the world and the characters too. The alternating points of view are such an engaging way to tell the story, seeing different parts and how they tie together. I like seeing how the characters interact and how they relate to each other, even as they come from different ways of life and different experiences. Also I enjoy the family ties aspects, how family is important to each character and the way that relationship guides actions. This truly is an amazing book within this series and I look forward to reading more!

I enjoyed this book. Lonny was hard for me to connect with at first but once I did, I appreciated her character. I really enjoyed True, however, from the beginning. I liked the pace of this book and the overall story. I would definitely pick up more books by this author.

Captivating story once again by a truly gifted author! Finn’s adventure from the first series continues in this gripping adventure! This time he is not alone! The book was great visually once again and brought a lot to the table! I loved every moment of this adventure and wait in anticipation for more!
I loved this one for many reasons. Yes, Finn is the protagonist, and he seems to find his footing in this one along side his father of the true meaning what it is to be a Varadoger. I found the journey to that for Finn was hard at times, but his spirit never allowed him to give up, not even for a second! I more less loved the trials he faced through out to get to where he was by the time the book concluded. I also loved how all of Finn’s family had an important role in this novel! I am not speaking just of his father, but his siblings as well as his mother. They all played a role in this story. There was a lot happening at times but was very easy to follow and comprehend. I loved the author’s way of molding this story together and how things came to light, and what may come in future adaptations to the series! Loved it!
Again, amazing installment to the series! I think I may have even loved this installment more than the previous! I can not wait for the next adventure for Finn and his family to be able to be read by myself. I highly recommend this book, for sure a must read! It’s a fun journey that should be experienced!

This was an incredible read! I loved reading this one so much. It was full of humor, Romance, witty banter, and some action. I was completely enthralled with this book and did not want to put it down. This is the third installment of a series, and I have not read the previous books in this series but I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. This felt like a complete standalone to me, which is one reason why I decided to read this one. Kudos to the author though, this book was completely outstanding to me!

I am just jumping into this series but I am going to catch up! I love the banter, the humor, the steam, the characters, and everything.

This is my first book by this author. I loved it. It was a quick read. I fell hard for all the characters. I would picture myself right there with them. The different aspects used in this book made me not want to put it down. It was a true page turner. I highly recommend this.

I definitely loved this book and everything about it. I loved how Levi was rejected multiple times by the same woman. That causes a spiral for him and he is forced to go work at his fathers firm again. Then he realizes his job there is to assist the one woman who doesn’t fall for his charms…..Miss Kindle James. I absolutely love her character in the book. She’s strong, smart, beautiful and doesn’t take any garbage. Unfortunately for Levi, he can’t seem to get away from the one girl that called him Daddy and thinks she’s gods gift to men. She’s all about herself and when he finally has had enough of her he tries to get rid of her by not being so nice. Levi has never been friends with a female and working side by side with Kindle, they grow a sort of friendship which he sees a plus for him. Once she is comfortable, maybe he can turn on the charm and win her over. Let’s not forget about Kindle’s roomie…..Will she be the reason Kindle walks away from Levi for good or will there be a happy ending? Such a great read from beginning to end. Loved it!!

Right from the start, the story drew me in. Levi is a party boy that has a lot more going on in his head and heart than meets the eye. His antics at the start are entertaining to witness along side him. It also helps that the story is written in second person and even has moments where the MC engages with the reader to make you feel like you are being told a story from a friend. Once Levi starts putting an effort into putting his life on track, his world view totally changes, and he is put in a position where he is trying to reach a future, and trying not to let his past hinder him. The romance is quite sweet as well. Initially unrequited feelings that slowly start to turn into more. Also, Kindle is such an awesome and powerful female MC. The story is short, but didn’t leave me wanting. The romance seems quick, but was still satisfying. In general, this is a quick, fun, and spicy read that will be entertaining until the very end. This is book five in the series, and admittedly I did not read the others, but I had no trouble following along with the story. I do have the sense that there are many background stories with side characters that I am missing information on, so I definitely intend to go back and read the other books.

Another fantastic read by the author. Squid is the fifth book in the Moto X Series. This is the first book in the series that I’ve read. You will absolutely love this book.
Levi is the party boy in the group. He is known for having money at his fingertips, women falling at his feet, and doing what he wants when he wants. That’s until he meets a woman who challenges him. The quote I chose for Levi is: “The money. What? I know it isn’t as honorable as yours. I’m good at arguing and it was kind of just something I fell into. No family obligation or anything like that. I’m good at it and I knew I could make a shit ton of money doing it.”
Kindle is a divorce lawyer and works her butt off to do what she wants. She loves riding her bikes, but to do that she has to work hard. When she meets Levi she turns him down. Now he’s her assistant and she can’t help her feelings. The quote I chose for Kindle is: “I have to deal with petty fights from time to time, but there are cases like the one you just helped me with that makes me feel good about helping others. Why did you pick law?”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

Levi Crowe is a player and man-child, living a privileged life with a trust fund income he can just do whatever he wants. People flock to him or shall we say women and he welcomes them with a night of passion with no strings. Although deep down he is scared by the be trail of an ex-girlfriend and has his heart on locked for a long time until one night all that changes when he discovers the women who turns him down.
With this shock he is then plunged into shock when his parents have also had enough and take away all his money and make him go to work at the family law office, Levi thinks this is a bad idea until he turns up and does not have his corner but is an assistant but what is even more unreel is that the lawyer he is assisting is no other than Kindle James the woman who turned him down in the bar.
Things become interesting and can Kindle reignite the fire and ambition deep in Levi to be a great lawyer and a better person?
This is he first story I have read by this author and it was well written and the characters where well developed. To say I was not a fan of Levi in the first few chapters would have been an understatement, his constant whining and pitiful destruction was not my cup of tea and to be honest I was his friends I would have told him to do one, lol.
Then, half way through the book you started to see the true character of Levi which was great to read, although I wish this had started earlier, the way the author wrote the two main characters weaving through there feelings was brilliant but I felt at times that it was a bit rushed.
Saying that the storyline was brilliant and it did have me deeply engrossed wanting to find out will they, won’t they but unfortunately I am staying mum and you will have to read the book to find out. I would like to read more of this author and especially see the stories if their are regarding the secondary characters in the book and how there relationships started and bloomed.

this is the first book I have read by this I adore Brees’s character. Bree and Nate just fit so well together. This is such a fun read we learn so much about each character and especially through Bree’s prescriptive. Bree has her fair of bad men and dates is Nate the one or is it another bad omen. The chemistry between Bree and Nate is explosive and jumps off the page.

This is the first book I have read by this author, and I can promise you it will not be the last. Caging Grace was so amazing. The characters are all their own form of broken. Seeing how they have survived and how they are moving forward in their lives was a true pleasure. Grace is so strong yet so lost in a lot of ways. The journey she is on is enough to send most people running for the hills or at least looking for the easy way out. For Grace that is not an option. I love this story so much and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

She has a way of bringing the characters to life. I can feel every emotion the characters are feeling, and visualize everything they are seeing. Zodiac, paranormal and romance This was such an engaging read. Very well written, with mer people and treasure hunting, it was a brilliant mix. Every character was highly developed and the world building was amazing. I love the zodiac aspect and was intrigued with the spin on Greek mythology. Told from multiple POV this book is one not to be missed. Can’t wait for book 2.

This book was amazing! I loved how lives seemed to intertwine in this story. I have always loved the tales of Greek Mythology, and I must say this book truly satisfied my want for it! I enjoyed being swept with the emotions and feelings of the characters. Honestly this book had it all, the quest for love, a lost treasure, a city unknown to man. It was a trip for me and captivated truly. I really loved this one, and I can not wait to read more in the series! This book gave me so much! It was a grand and mesmerizing adventure! I wish this book did not come to an end; I wasn’t ready to reach the final page when I did!
Loved this book with a passion. The writing and story line really fueled my passion for mythology and the quest for it that lies within my heart! Highly recommend this must-read book!

Romance under Aquarius is the first book in this series. Danielle usually writes contemporary romance so it was a nice change to see something a little different. It is a paranormal romance with lots of different and interesting elements and developments. There is a lot going on so the story is told from many different POV’s giving us an even deeper look at the characters and just who they are.
With the lost city of Atlantis and Greek mythology, hot Mermen and Mermaids, royalty and cheating fiancés, drama and steamy romance there is a little of everything for any lover of paranormal.
I will not share anything more as you need discover it all on your own.
As one of twelve standalone books in this series I look forward to more.

I enjoyed reading this story. This is the first book of this new series and what a great start it is. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. One of the things I enjoy about this author is her ability to pull you into the story from the start. The characters bring her story to life on each page. They are connectable and just made the story for me. There is much going on in this story but it all fits together where it is not confusing. I enjoyed how the author used details to make the story realistic. There is great growth of the plot and also the characters throughout. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and hard to put down. I highly recommend this story and this author.

Romance Under Aquarius is a story from the four-point of view of Maris and her best friend, fiance, and a stranger named Kasper. The first three are the occupants of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and come together with Kasper to start an adventure to save Kasper’s brother. This adventure lands them in a lot of unlikely scenarios that they need to navigate their way out of. All of the characters are well-written and multi-dimensional. I instantly liked Maris and the lovable rogue, Kasper. I never came around to liking Ryn or Pasha. With the way the story starts, I just could not find it in my heart to feel anything positive towards either of them. This story is based on the qualities of the zodiac sign of Aquarius and every chapter displays those qualities beautifully. Romance Under Aquarius was a charming romance story. It wasn’t too intense but very fulfilling. The entire story kept me entertained and smiling.

He gets in trouble with his dad and has some time to reflect on his emotions. There is a lot going on at once in his little mind! Ultimately, Oliver realizes that he is loved and cared for right where he is.
This is a super cute book to read with the littles in your life (or have them read it to you!). The illustrations are good but I would have liked to have seen a little more color. This is a great way to have conversations about the different types of families, as well as how to deal with different emotions one might be feeling.

Lois’s stories always have messages/learning tools in them. Kids between the ages of 4 – 8 will like Oliver even if they don’t understand the message.
This hit home as we have been fostering a cat and he is finding his place in the family and after his surgery today, we are adopting him.
It also made me smile because when Oliver is sulking it reminds me of my dog when sulking who turns away so he is facing the other way and will not even acknowledge us.

Oliver, A Story of Adoption by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Janel Bernotas
Another adorable story by Lois Wickstrom! On this one, Oliver is the main character and knows he is adopted. He gets in trouble and sent to his room for climbing a tree. He’s upset and angry at the fact that he’s being punished. He imagines what it’d be like to have other parents, what it’d be like if his birth parents kept him, why his birth parents gave him up for adoption. In the end, he goes back downstairs and chats with his parents about adoption. This is a cute and explanatory story that I think would be helpful in explaining adoption to young children. I love the black and white sketched illustrations too! Very well done, yet again, Lois Wickstrom!

Loved Oliver! When Oliver gets in trouble, he thinks of what his birth parents are doing and how they would treat him. As his father tells him, all kids whether adopted or not, think of life with different parents. I think this is a great book to help kids understand feelings and learn about adoption. Oliver’s character is so lovable and the illustrations will keep your child interested.
