This is my first book from this author and I’ll definitely look for more. Now honestly I did find I had a bit of a tough time really sinking into Sophie and Gil’s story. I just didn’t feel that strong pull. But if given the chance I think you’ll find it’s a good story even if it’s a bit slow on the start. I definitely laughed and did enjoy the storyline. Just give it a chance it does get better not that the beginning is bad it just felt a little slower in my view. I am definitely excited to see what other books this author has to offer. Four stars and definitely recommended!

This book definitely pulled me in immediately and I simply couldn’t put it down. I may have stayed up later than planned just so I could finish but it was so worth it. This author knows how to keep a readers completely captured. The characters are complex and relatable, I felt a connection easily. I found myself trying to both read faster to know what happens and wanting to savor this story I was drawn into. The friendship displayed in this story is definitely one that reminds me of my own experiences in the real world maybe not exactly but the bond is the same. If I could read this book for the first time again I definitely would but as I can’t I’ll just add it to my read again list. Well written and paced nicely with characters you won’t forget for a while. Five stars and highly recommended.

I had so many mixed emotions with this story. I actually had started it and found myself just feeling overwhelmed and stopped. Ok now this isn’t a bashing review just hang with me real quick. This story had so much going on and in the beginning it seemed just super rushed and a jumble of stuff going on. You may feel the same but please listen to this next part! Keep reading because this author is about to blow you away with a story you can’t miss. Gem is a character that absolutely stole my whole heart with her kick butt attitude and her loyalty to those important to her. This book definitely has some difficult subjects but the author puts a lot of feeling into them. Connecting with the characters was so easy. Again please if you feel it’s rushed and a lot going on push on it’s so very worth it! If I could give more than five stars I would! Highly recommended!

This story just got me in all the feels, Gina was a character that was so easy to connect with, and she may just be my favorite female character so far this year. The chemistry her and Bryce have is so easy to see they truly bring you into their world. It’s a story that hit close to home for me and I loved everything about it. I was so excited to be back with Tasha and Levi! I knew I’d have just as much fun with them as the first go around and the author certainly didn’t disappoint in any way. Once again we’re pulled into a paranormal adventure that left me feeling like the real world no longer existed. Once again the characters just draw you in and you can try all you want to take it slow and make it last but you’ll probably do about as well as me with that. There’s times a was on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happens next. I like a book where I can still not make out what’s happening next and this author gets that need. Once I started I simply couldn’t put it down. Kirsa right from the beginning had a piece of my heart and while there’s of course other characters and I liked them of course she’s the one who pulled me in so much. The storyline just spoke to me. High school is difficult for most but how heartbreaking is it when your best friends turn on you. I felt such a connection and I thank this author for such great characters. This book is not at all for everyone but if you are In for a very bumpy ride with a character you can’t do anything but root for this is it. From the very beginning I knew I’d like this book. I just have a thing about the main character going through heck and back and still seeing light at the end of the tunnel when all they should see is darkness. This author wrote some very difficult scenes but they were very well done. That may sound a little weird but I really liked the writing style and the fact that the impossible situation Liz deals with aren’t sugar coated. It’s a well written book and if I could give more than five stars I’d happily do it but I’ll settle for huge five stars. Highly recommended!
