Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton. Once again I fall head over heels for the characters this author has given us. The chemistry is off the charts and you can easily connect with each one. Tyler and Gianna both pulled me so into their story I got lost for a few hours with them happily. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and keeps readers hooked from start to finish. It’s a sweet story that I enjoyed getting lost in. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I love the characters and story world this author creates and I can’t wait to read more. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Better Than Goodbye (Venture Book 1) by Kinney Scott. This story was just what I needed. Sometimes you need a good romance story that has you falling in love just as much as the characters and that’s exactly what this book gave me. Amanda and Kent from page one completely had me hooked for their journey. The author knows how to write characters you can root for and connect with and that made it easy to get lost in the pages of this story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. This book is a perfect way to spend a few hours lost with great characters on a nice relaxing weekend. Four big stars and highly recommended. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next.

Her Blackened Soul (Blackened Series Book 1)
By Isra Sravenheart. This story was a bit outside my comfort zone but was enjoyable and I look forward to more in this series. This author is also new to me and I like the writing style. The characters are complex and pulled me in effortlessly and I found myself lost in the pages. When I first started I didn’t feel an immediate draw but I didn’t let that stop me and I’m glad to say it had my full attention quickly. It’s a very unique storyline that I for one haven’t seen before and I think that’s what I liked most about it. The storyline is paced nicely never feeling rushed. It’s a creative storyline that I’m excited to see more about. Four stars and recommended.

The Slaughter of Leith Hall by Lexie Conyngham. I love a book that really keeps me on the edge with mystery and this author did just that. That characters pulled me in immediately and were very easy to connect with. I’m really picky when it comes to historical type novels I find myself getting bored easily but I didn’t have that issue here, from page one I felt engaged in this storyline and following great characters. The storyline is well written and unique. It’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. The characters truly bring the words to life. I excited to read more from this author. Four stars and highly recommended. I ask that if this isn’t in your preferred genre that you still give it a chance because I promise you won’t regret it.

The Trouble With Paradise (The Madeline Dawkins Series Book 4) by Cynthia Hamilton. Another fantastic addition to a series I’ve decided is in my top favorites for this years. Sometimes I find series that go for a while can lose something along the way and I get bored but once again this author proves that’s not always the case. I’ve loved watching these characters grow throughout this series. This book involves two different cases which may make you think it’ll be too busy but I for one found it’s got a perfect balance. The characters pull you into their world so completely I lost track of time and the outside world for a while and loved every minute. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it. Can’t wait for more!

One Hot Texas Summer (The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 1) by Nicole Flockton. I was definitely excited to read this story. Sometimes what you need is a great romance story to sweep you away. Kelly and Tate did just that for me, from page one I knew I’d love these characters. They pulled me completely into their story world and I didn’t want to leave. They have a chemistry that leaps off the pages, they are also very Easy to connect with. The storyline is well thought out and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’ll be adding this one to my read again list for sure. I was happy to get lost in the pages with these wonderful characters and can’t wait to read more from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Shattered: a Logan McKenna Mystery Book 1 (The Logan McKenna Series) by Valerie Davisson. Ok first of wow just wow this story had me completely captivated! Logan was a character that I won’t soon be forgetting that’s for sure. She’s strong even after all she’s been through and I loved her defense of a friend in need. This story was incredible and I found myself on the edge of my seat more than once. The author created characters with such unique personality’s and you can’t help but follow their story and get lost happily in their story world. I found myself trying to read both faster and slower, then sad when I reached the end. But I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author. It’s a well written story and was definitely paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. I can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next. Four stars and highly recommended.

Ok so firstly this story is way outside my comfort zone but I was intrigued by the description and boy am I glad I decided to give it a try. This is also a new author to me and I was definitely pleasantly surprised and impressed with the attention to even the smallest of details. The characters draw you in and take readers on an incredible journey. I found myself on the edge of my seat more than once and lost within the pages happily for hours. It’s a well thought out storyline and paced nicely. I’m excited to see what else this author has to offer. Four stars and highly recommended!

This story was no less amazing than all the rest I’ve read. The characters pull you into their world and you can easily feel the connection to them and their story. This may be on the shorter side of a story but that didn’t hinder and of the importance of the impact I felt from it. The author writes in a way that you feel everything the characters are. It’s a well developed storyline and I loved every minute I spent lost in the pages. Four stars and highly recommended!

While this definitely can be read as a stand-alone without any confusion it made me excited to read book one for sure. This author is new to me but it definitely won’t be long before I read all the books. The characters are complex and relatable, they pull you into their story so completely I found myself lost in the pages for a few hours not wanting to put it down. It’s amazing how one night can change everything you know in life. Each page had me falling more and more for each character who brings something unique to the storyline. I was very happy to find this author and I’m so excited to read more. This story was definitely well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Virtually Gone: A Mended Souls Novel (High-Tech Crime Solvers Book 6) by Jacquie Biggar. As someone who hasn’t read the others in this series I found it a little slower at first but when it picked up for me I was hooked. I’m thinking if I’d read others first it may have felt a bit different but I can say it was easy to read as a stand-alone without any confusion but more of a “hmm have I missed something in the other books?” But not so much that it takes away from this book. I am looking forward to going back and reading more. The characters are complex and relatable, each one brings something unique to the storyline. I did find myself on the edge of my seat a time or two trying to read faster to see what would happen next. I’m giving this story a four star review and recommend it. Excited to read the rest.

Once again I’m blown away with this wonderful story. This story can easily be read as a stand-alone but I do highly recommend all of this series because they are each wonderful for many reasons. The characters in this story truly draw readers in and they were very easy to feel a connection with and to imagine throughout the story. The author just paints many pictures with her words and each page is better than the last. The storyline pulled at all my emotions in all the right ways. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. I can’t wait for more from this amazing author! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

I’m a huge fan of box sets because they can do a couple things, introduce you to new authors easily or if you love a series already you have them all together. This series has quickly become on of my favorite reads. The characters are complex and draw you into their world so completely you forget time and the outside world for a while. This author knows how to keep readers in a state of suspense that definitely had me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages as fast as possible to see what happens next. Each story has characters that bring something unique to the storyline. Each one is well written and paced nicely. The stories are well developed and had me completely hooked from start to finish. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

I found myself trying to read both faster and slower excited to see what would happen next and sad to being almost at the end. This was a wonderful story to sink into with characters that were easily connected with. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Once again I found myself sinking into a storyline a bit outside my normal reading but that’s nothing new with this author,. I often find myself completely drawn in with the books from this author. This is a off shoot from another fantastic series and while there’s some character overlap you can read this as a stand-alone without any confusion, but I do highly recommend the other books also. From page one I knew I was in for another great adventure and the characters had me hooked from beginning to end. The storyline is well thought out and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters simply draw you in and I found myself completely losing track of the outside world for a while which I loved. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. The Divided Twin (The Divided Series Book 2). I highly recommend reading these in order to start off. Now for my view on this book, I really appreciate the way this author tells a story. The entire story draws you in and I couldn’t put it down until I reached the end. The characters are complex and well written. From beginning to end I was completely hooked. I’ve seen this book be described as raw and I think that’s a great way of thinking about it. It’s a bit of a difficult subject but you can feel the authors emotions behind each page. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. It may have some triggers for some but I truly appreciate the words written. Four stars and highly recommended!

IRRESISTIBLE WEDDINGS (Irresistible Romance Book 4). I love anthologies they give you a chance to meet new authors and visit already loved authors. This set of stories is perfect for all those who have found themselves with a lot of time on your hands. Each author brings a wonderful story that will help you fall in love with each one’s writing. I definitely had a couple favorites one was The right Groom by Jen Talty, these characters truly pulled me in and I loved their story together. Echo and Spencer won’t be forgotten by me for a while. My other favorite is Two Heart’s Alliance by Tamara Ferguson. This author isn’t new to me in fact I’ve pretty much loved every single story she has and this one is right there with my other loves. The storyline is well written and paced nicely. It’s a sweet story that had me hook from start to finish. Each story is wonderful and worth the read. Five stars all the way for this set together and each unique story. Highly recommended!

Martimus (Feisty Lawyers Book 5) by Seelie Kay. Not to pick favorites in this series or anything but this one definitely worth the favorite badge. But don’t get me wrong all of this series is great and while you can read them out of order I do recommend reading them in order. I love the mystery and suspense in this book it definitely kept me guessing and on my toes. This author has truly captured my attention and I just can’t help but keep coming back for more and it’s delivered amazingly each time. The characters pulled me in and took me on quite the ride. Each character is described in a lot of details and you can picture things as they happen and I love a book that comes to life before my eyes. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and you can’t help but feel a connection. It’s a well written story and it’s paced nicely even with a lot going on, never felt lost or confused. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it!

A Book Signing To Die For by Judy Moore. This isn’t my first read by this author but I will say it’s probably my favorite so far. This book definitely pulled me right in and I couldn’t put it down not even for sleep. The characters are unique and fun, each one brings this story to life. It’s got everything I could have asked for mystery, suspense and Murder. I’m a sucker for a great who done it with characters I love and this definitely gave me it all. I found myself on more than one occasion trying to read faster and slower at the same time. Trying to get to the next part to see what happens and not wanting it to be over too quickly. It’s a well written story and I enjoyed my time with all the characters. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

I sometimes have a harder time getting into a fantasy/paranormal type story but I never have that issue with this author and series. Blind Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells. This author knows how to hook me from beginning to end. These characters are some of my top favorites this year and I’ll be thinking about not only them but this storyline for a while. I love a book I can sink into and forget the outside world for a while. This book gave me just that and it was nice to get lost within its pages for a while. I sometimes forget how much I love paranormal romance until an author reminds me of all those amazing reasons and this author does remind me often. The characters are complex and relatable, and the storyline will have you awake well into the night is you start too late. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

The Lost (Saint Code Book 1) by Megan Mackie. This author definitely knows how to keep readers coming back for more. Once again I found myself completely hooked on another fantastic read. The characters are complex and relatable, each one brings something unique to the storyline and draws you further into their story world. While on the shorter side it still packs a punch and the shortness doesn’t hinder the storyline in any way. I couldn’t put it down and found myself awake way late in the night because I made the mistake of starting it later. It’s a well written and nicely developed story that’s got a nice easy pace to follow with awesome characters. Four big stars and highly recommended.
