Ashes To Ashes Boxset (books 1-3)Ashes To Ashes Boxset by Rowena Holloway
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ashes To Ashes Box Set: Books 1 to 3 by Rowena Holloway. I’m a huge fan of box sets because they can do a couple things, introduce you to new authors easily or if you love a series already you have them all together. This series has quickly become on of my favorite reads. The characters are complex and draw you into their world so completely you forget time and the outside world for a while. This author knows how to keep readers in a state of suspense that definitely had me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages as fast as possible to see what happens next. Each story has characters that bring something unique to the storyline. Each one is well written and paced nicely. The stories are well developed and had me completely hooked from start to finish. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

The Princess and the Pit Bulls: Book Four in the Fairy Tale Series by Jody Lynn Daniels. Ok first and foremost I just wanna say I absolutely loved this story. This book definitely had me hooked from the very first page. The characters are complex and relatable, each one having their own personal story to tell. They pulled me in and I was so sad when I had to leave them but I won’t forget them for sure. This author just has a way with words and creating a wonderful book world to disappear in for a while. I found myself trying to read both faster and slower excited to see what would happen next and sad to being almost at the end. This was a wonderful story to sink into with characters that were easily connected with. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Wandering Isles: A Crown of Stones Novella (The Crown of Stones Novella Series Book 1) by C. L. Schneider. Once again I found myself sinking into a storyline a bit outside my normal reading but that’s nothing new with this author,. I often find myself completely drawn in with the books from this author. This is a off shoot from another fantastic series and while there’s some character overlap you can read this as a stand-alone without any confusion, but I do highly recommend the other books also. From page one I knew I was in for another great adventure and the characters had me hooked from beginning to end. The storyline is well thought out and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters simply draw you in and I found myself completely losing track of the outside world for a while which I loved. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Spouse Trap (Madeline Dawkins, #1)Spouse Trap by Cynthia Hamilton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Spouse Trap: Madeline Dawkins Mysteries (The Madeline Dawkins Series Book 1) by Cynthia Hamilton. This author isn’t new to me and I find myself draw to anything I can find she’s written. I find it refreshing to see a author who can write different types of stories. This book took me a little bit to sink into but once I did I was completely hooked and couldn’t put it down. The characters are probably where I had a bit of trouble connecting but I’ll be honest I couldn’t think they would be better any other way, sometimes characters are exactly how the story should have them be and it’s by no fault of the author I couldn’t connect with them right away. So while the characters weren’t my favorite they still were exactly what the story called for and the storyline really drew me in and kept me turning the pages. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Four stars and highly recommended.
