Goldilocks retelling. Great teaching about simple machines, I especially like that at the end of the story there is a description of each machine she used. The childlike illustrations just made the whole thing kids friendly. I like that her books are educational and fun.

This book is dark, and sexy, and suspenseful. The things that Zeke (Venom), and Lily go through to be together, and then there is her crazy ex. This story makes you want to know how on earth this authors brain works to come up with some of the things/issues in this story. I will definitely be reading book 2.

The 2nd book in the Love on Tap series does not disappoint!
This story has even more mystery but just as many laughs. Sylvie Stewart has definitely become one of my favorite independent authors! Sunny and Carter will take you on quite the adventure. Watch out for Duke though, he may just steal the story and your heart!
Notebook Mysteries Parisian Intrigue by Kimberly Mullins

A new to me author, and this story did not disappoint in any way! This book is part of a series , I have learned, but it did not affect what I read in this story. Wonderful description of all things. The authors attention to all the details was fantastic. this author is definitely one I will read again and I am not usually a reader of mysteries.

In my opinion this book should be required reading for all. This book is wonderfully written. It will have your emotions all over the place. I even learned so much about Africa and what young girls endure and I am almost 50. Highly recommended!

A very sweet dedication to teachers everywhere! This book shows that teachers have their students in their hearts all the time. I know many teachers and this book describes them all perfectly. This book should be given to all children as they enter primary school. A kids should reference it often!

A Way Out by Tami Lund

Rock star, Single dad, hard working, hot as all, this is the perfect man for this story. There is instant attraction between Maria and Oz. This is the 2nd book in the series but the first I have read and I was not lost or confused in any way. I am sure there is overlap in the characters but that is ok.
I really enjoyed the pace and character development throughout. Watching Maria step up and take over certain aspects was refreshing.
Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Twisted Eros by Aria Skylar

I have never read anything like this book, but I am not at all disappointed that I picked this up. Definitely a different kind of read for me. A month long abduction full of kinky experiences. A retelling of the mythical story of Eros and Psyche. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series.

This is the second book in this series and while this series follows a circle of friends, you can read this book on it’s own. Christy and Ryan aren’t strangers, and this second chance romance will give you all the feels. This author, Haley Rhoades, is quickly becoming a one click author for me. Small town, sports romances are really good.

Very gripping, emotional recounting of life as the granddaughter of a prominent chief. How she grows up, trains, is taught, I was drawn into the story and learning about her life and all things it encompassed. I am really curious to see where the other books take us.

A MMF second chance romance with a whole lot of Steam! This is a good story with great heat and it will keep you turning the pages to see how it ends. A misunderstanding leads to the demise of a relationship and the subsequent breaking up of a band. But after Caro and Nash rekindle their romance, can they convince Grey that with them is where he belongs? Page turning excitement, just NEEDING to know what happens next. This is book 2 in this series but the first time I have read this author and I will be going back for book one. I did not miss anything in this 2nd book by having not read the first. There were no gaps in time or missing links.

This author is new to me and after many years of feeling lost and alone and unlovable, this book was just what I needed. Following his journey it let me see how he was able to turn his mind around and I truly hope that I am able to do the same. I feel better about things and am going to definitely implement some changes in my own life.
Earl of Griffith by Aubrey Wynne

A first time for me reading anything by Aubrey Wynne. It won’t be the last. A sweet Regency romance story, it will not disappoint. My favorite part has to be how well the Earl bonds with Maeve. Such a good story. I read this story in one sitting. It is a quick read and will have you wanting to find out how things turn out. I will be reading more from this author.
The Boys of Alpha Block by Nancy Nau Sullivan

Nancy Sullivan does a fantastic job of building the backgrounds of each of the boys in this story. The story starts a bit slow but it is building the story and it gets so much better. It was interesting to read and definitely kept me engaged.

Lois Wickstrom is wonderful at telling children’s tales and this is yet another example of that. A retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk, this book will teach children that everyone has situations that they may need help with. Great story with great illustrations that will teach a wonderful lesson to those who read it. I really enjoy sharing the books by Lois Wickstrom with my kids and my friends.

This story is wonderfully written, the illustrations are fantastic and the plot will draw you in and have you following along all to learn about the People that live in the Town. The animals are the main characters in this story that has you learning about who “people” are and why they don’t live in the wild like the animals. Very clever and will have you following along as we learn all about people.

While I am not a huge fan of Poetry, I found this book to be very interesting to say the least. This book is filled with music and pop culture references and will have you stopping to think. Full of rhymes and the colours that just pop off the pages. I highly recommend this book just to open your mind. Great book of poems.
Fireflies by A.R. Hadley

This book is written amazingly well. I fell in love with Mike and Dane and their love for each other. (Despite the fact that my first and second husbands were named Mike and Dane, yes ironic I know) I have a dear friend who lives the “poly” lifestyle and it was very interesting to read more about how the couples (even in fictional literature) make these relationships work. The personalities of Mike and Dane are really well written, you will definitely want to keep turning pages and reading about how they make their twosome a family. It’s so well written and will capture your attention within a couple pages.
Cecily in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager

This is the third book in this series and even though it is not recommended to read as stand-alones, I read this book and fell in love with the characters and the plot. There may be some things I missed from the first two books (which I now plan on going back and reading) but I honestly didn’t miss it. Cecily is doing big things in her life. This story will have you turning the pages to find out how she does it and all that she deals with along the way. LOVED this book and will be reading the first two just to tie it all together.
Three Women in November by Jim Shomos

Based on a true story, the author has drawn us into his life and is showing us a venerable side of himself. This book brings us into his relationships with three different women who are more flawed than he thinks he is. The author does a good job of building the story and drawing you into these relationships so that you as the reader are experiencing these moments right along with him. You will definitely follow through the highs and lows, the happy, sad and anger filled moments. You will experience all of this and more.

Where Fire Meets Flame by Elena Kincaid

Riley and Tristan, instant interest and attraction, but Tristan had a complication. Riley, a private investigator, finds herself being rescued not once but twice by Tristan. This story is really good. It has all of the emotions and suspense it needs in all the right places. Quick read and it will keep you turning the pages.
Operation Escape by Landra Graf

The second book in the Space Force Rejects series. A sci-fi romance that will not disappoint. Action, danger, romance and adventure are just a few things you have to look forward to. This book can be read by itself but I highly recommend reading book one first to get an even more in-depth look. I am not usually a sci-fi fan but this author is really growing on me. I couldn’t put this book down.
Esprit de Corpse by Ef Deal

A steampunk/paranormal combined novel. This story is well written and as far as I can tell it is historically accurate. Not only is this my first read by this author but it is also my first time reading steampunk and I found it to be very interesting. This story is also filled with mystery and adventure. you won’t want to put it down!
Healing Kiss by Amanda Uhl

Healing Kiss is the first book I have read by this author. I am not usually a fan of this genre but this book was well written and easy to read. The story flowed well and the characters were very likeable. Realistic events and happenings made the actions performed seem very natural and believable. I will definitely be keeping my eyes open for more from this author.

This book is very well written and so easy to read. You will get drawn in and won’t be able to put it down. I love Abby and Nate and can’t wait to see what the author has lined up for book 2.
The Silent Road by S.N. McKibben

This was a first from this author and I was not at all disappointed. Over the road long distance truck driving can be hard on a person, but add in the responsibility of paying your child’s college tuition and your stresses are tripled. This book follows a couple of truck drivers and things have a weird way of working themselves out, no matter what the obstical or challenge.
Falling for You by Libby Kay

Here we are back in Buckeye Falls. This is book 2 in this series and it truly does NOT disappoint. A sweet romance is growing between Cece and Evan and I am here for it. This series can be read as stand-alones but I would read them in order so as to night get the timeline mixed. Love small town romances where everyone knows everyone and everything.
Looking forward to more from this author and hopefully more in this series.
Ocean’s Three by Elena Kincaid

Made in Heaven series book 2. This book is almost as good as the first one. You do NOT need to read these books in order as the characters are totally different and not connected in anyway from book to book.
This book has cousins, Cameron and Reed and their dream girl (literally) Joselyn.
But will their love remain only in the dream realm or will they ever find each other?
The biggest thing in this story is that Cameron is psychic, How or will this affect their future together?
I recommend this book, it is full for hot steamy scenes, just a disclaimer though it is MMF and it is HOT.
Ale’s Fair in Love and War by Sylvie Stewart

I absolutely love romantic comedies and this one is no different. An enemies-to-lovers romance full of funny pranks and hot steamy make out sessions. Cash and Hollis will entertain you from cover to cover. The way their “relationship” begins and progresses is so fun to watch and discover. I hope you pick this up. It is absolutely awesome and you will not be sorry.
