Kismet (Endgame Series Book 2) by Leigh Ann Lunsford – Review by Krystal Gaston

Kismet (Endgame Series #2)Kismet by Leigh Ann Lunsford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kismet is Book two in the Endgame Series written by Leigh Ann Lunsford. This story can be read as a stand alone or following book one. I suggest reading book one first. Leigh Ann Lunsford did a unique thing when writing this story. If you read book one you know some of the stuff mentioned in this book and you have a clue as to what it’s about however this is told from Emberlee and Brodys point of view and there is sooo much stuff that happened that we didn’t know about.
“She renders me incapable with one touch. One look. The hands that were slapping and lashing out at me are the same ones caressing and pulling me closer. Kismet. Beyond my control.”
Emberlee and Brody have history, it started out innocent he was there while her father mentored him, she was in high school, he had to stay away from her she was only 16. When called home for an emergency with his sister he realizes that his sister is only one year younger then Emberlee. That was a rude awakening for Brody and he has to break his promise to Emberlee he is too old for her she is still too young and she hates the military lifestyle. But does she get a say in her life? After three long heart broken years how will Emberlee react when Brody not only comes back around but wants to fix the past and his mistakes when it comes to why he left and the way he did it. Emberlee and Brody have a very love/hate relationship and it is hilarious. They are friends lovers and enemies but will he be there for her when it matters most?

Pointe of Breaking by Amy Daws and Sarah Pepper – Review by Krystal Gaston

Pointe of BreakingPointe of Breaking by Amy Daws
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pointe of breaking by amy daws and sarah pepper is a five star read to me.  I haven’t read a book this great in a few month. First there’s Adeline, she’s a great prima ballerina studying at the Joffery Ballet Company in NYC.  Shes there on a Richards scholarship from her home town of Chicago, she works at a coffee house called Cuppa.  She works hard to maintain her scholarship and her loft apartment.  While working one night she meets a handsome senior named Blake Rossi, he threatens to get her fired unless she agrees to a date with him.  They end up in a relationship that ends rather abruptly after Blake proposes to Adeline.  She is heartbroken and devastated, she has yet to understand why they broke up but after a year of being broken up she realizes just how toxic their relationship was.  She never met his friends of family and never did things as a couple besides sex.  Right before Adeline is set to do the performance of a lifetime, one that can make or break you on the ballet world, Blake shows up and tried to make up a Adeline using her weakness and love for him to have sex with her.  Afterwards she realizes shes late for her performance and she feels devastated after what just happened with Blake.  While doing her performance she makes eye contact with Leonardo (Leo).  After maintaining eye contact throughout her entire performance she notices he is sitting with none other than Blake.  Shes heartbroken and feeling used after an amazing performance and decided to go to the seedy hole in the wall across the street there she actually meets Leo.  Can Leo help fix Adelines heart or will he ruin her for good.    Will Leos connection to Blake make her run or will she give him a chance.  Can Blake stay away or will he try to ruin any happiness Adeline could have with Leo.  This is a story of loss, betrayal, love, passion, and heartbreak.  But in the end will Adeline and Leo push through all the obstacles his privileged life puts in front of them or will her lower class status be what breaks them due to the pressure to not date beneath your class.  Can Leo fix all his wrong doings towards Adeline and can they share their secrets about their pasts along with current mistakes. Can leos parents repair their relationship with Adeline after his moms takes her scholarship from her. Does Blake  take advantage of Adeline in a weak moment during a break up with Leo or will Blakes wife ruin everything….

Broken Circle (Gray Ghost Novel #1) by Amy McKinley – Review by Krystal Gaston

Broken Circle (Gray Ghost #1)Broken Circle by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Broken Circle is book one in the Gray Ghost Novels written by Amy McKinley. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this story, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it. Broken Circle is a sad story but it has some happy moments in it as well. Liv has had her whole world turned upside down on after she starts to questions her husband Alex’s behavior. Insert a lot of crazy, sad, exciting events can Liv survive now that her life is at stake? Will Alex’s love prove fake or real when it comes down to a life or death situation or will Liam and his team be the ones to save her.  I had a lot of questions as I was reading this story but I couldn’t put it down because I had to know how it ended. I’m looking forward to reading the next story in the series Eye of the Storm. Review by @krystalgaston

Every Breath You Take (Bayou Devil’s MC #3) by A.M. Myers – review by Krystal Gaston

Every Breath You Take (Bayou Devils MC 3)Every Breath You Take by A.M. Myers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Every Breath You Take written by A.M. Myers is book three in the Bayou Devil’s MC Series. I love this book. If you haven’t read the previous two books: Hopelessly Devoted and Addicted to Love you should check them out also. The series is based off of an MC and it’s members, Every Breath you Take is Lincoln’s story and it’s a good one. So I loved Tatum, I loved everything about her. Even her craziness. She had me laughing with pretty much everything thing she said and did to Lincoln. The story line was great there is a scene at the end that could definitely be a trigger that I did not see coming but I also got the book because I liked the previous two so I didn’t bother to read about it I. Overall it was a great story it had many surprises and Tate kept you on your toes since you never really knew what she was going to do with whoever had made her mad at the moment.

Stone Sober (Hawke Family Series Book 3) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Krystal Gaston

Stone Sober (Hawke Family #3)Stone Sober by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stone Sober is Gwyn McNamee’s third book in her series The Hawke Family. The first book in the series is Savage Collision, followed by Tortured Skye. You meet the other Hawke siblings in those stories and then you get to Stone. He like control and hes intense like the rest of the Hawke men, but hes being pulled in 2 directions. His family or his boss, who has also been like a father figure to him. Then there is Dani’s baby sister, Nora, who makes her entrance in Savage Collision. This story like the others pulls you right in from the beginning. You meet sides of characters that you have been anxious to get to know. And the chemistry between Stone and Nora is out of control. Nora is a difficult character, no one really knows why she dances and why she left the pre med program at school. But Stone, he infuriates her and can read her better then anyone, and it drives her nuts! I loved this series so far and I can’t wait for book 4 Building Storm to come out.
