5 out of 5 stars

The story Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship. (The Italian Saga Book 6) by Gaia B. Amman is a book that I truly enjoyed reading. It is a story that brings out powerful emotions from the characters and had me not wanting to put the book down until I had finished the last page. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading it. I loved reading about the character of Leda. She is a young woman who is beautiful and smart. She has plans for her future. She also has an undeniable attraction to Sergio. Sergio is a man that is determined that Leda will be his and only his. Like a magnet, these two are drawn towards each other. Read this book to find out their story. This book has parts to it that I found sad and some that had me angry with how characters were treated. There are times when I could feel affection and love, while other times there was conflict. I grew to care about Leda and was always rooting for her to succeed in all that she does. There are other additional characters that you read about. I enjoyed reading about many of them and their interactions with Leda. This is a wonderful story to read and one that I would highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Flesh and Bone (Blood of Kaos Book 3) by Nesa Miller is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. It is a story that hooked me from the beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. It is a book that has action, adventure, mystery, and romance. There is wonderful and impressive world building. There are also amazing characters that are enjoyable to read about. One is missing and another has not been seen since leaving an Elven city. Will they be found? Each character has their own part to play in the story. There are those who represent family, friends, warriors, and are loyal/helpful. I had the feeling that some characters are more than they appear to be and then others that have their own evil agenda and would do anything to make their plans succeed. There is pain, loss, and sadness. There are times when the deep bonds/connection between characters are felt. Questions and suspicions will have you questioning motives. I couldn’t help but be swept up in the tale. I would highly recommend reading it.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2) by Charlotte Roth is a wonderfully humorous and romantic book. The story had me with a smile on my face, laughing out loud, and has moments that touched my heart. It is the second book in a series that includes an amazing character named Ella. She is a young woman who at a young age grew up quickly. She is funny, kind, and beautiful. You could also call her confused when it comes to the feelings in her heart. When her father announces a trip to Europe, she has a decision to make. Should she try to find her son’s father, Hans? Is she still in love with him? What decision will she make? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I enjoyed reading about many of the other characters. Some have a large part to play and have been brought forward from the first book. I love when an author does this as it feels like you are catching up with friends. Ella’s tale includes the feeling of family, life lessons, and finding out what you’re heart really wants. Ella is a character that I grew to care about in the first book and those feelings continued in this one. She is someone who deserves happiness and to feel loved. The story Yearning Young (Burning Britely Book 2) by Deidre Huesmann is a book that I enjoyed reading. It is a story that includes powerful and raw emotions. My emotions were going up and down the entire time. I enjoyed reading it just as much as the first book in the series. The story is told from Braeden’s POV. Braeden is a character that I could empathize and sympathize with. He is at times confused with his feelings, angry, upset, and feels guilt. Braeden is a character that I grew to care about in the first book and this story will have you wanting him to find happiness. He is a young man who has had to grow up fast. He is also protective of those he cares for. He has parents that are not the best role models. This story also has his connection with Jeff Young growing deeper. These two have an attraction to each other. Always believing that he was straight Braeden is not sure what is supposed to come next in his relationship with Jeff. What happens next in their relationship? What does the future hold for Braeden? Read this book to find out. There are intense scenes and dialogue in this story. My heart went out to Braeden and there are times when you just wish you could solve all of his problems. This is a book that once I started, I didn’t want to put down. I got lost in the story. I also enjoyed reading about Jeff. He is a young man who while he was bullied and beaten in the past, is now showing more confidence. There are other characters that you read about. Some of them have been brought forward from the first book and others you are introduced to. Some of them are manipulative and others are friendly to Braeden. This story deals with issues that are heartbreaking. Don’t miss out on the continuing story of Braeden and Jeff. I highly recommend reading it.

It is set in a time that there are rules of society and how one lives their lives. To go against the rules can cause scandal and leave a permanent mark on a person. It is in this time period that Lady Sarah Hartford meets William Gordon. I loved Lady Sarah’s character. She is a woman who is strong and independent. I loved reading about how the romance between her and William starts. Lady Sarah begins to feel like she has found happiness. William then disappears and reappears married, a duke, and with a pregnant duchess. While trying to keep their relationship a secret both Lady Sarah and William try to uncover the truth from lies. The story There Be Demons (Andor Demon Wars Book 1) by M. K. Theodoratus is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. It is a story that does an amazing job of world building and includes action, magic, and danger. It is a book that drew me in from the beginning and I was hooked. It had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the character of Britt Kelly. She is a girl who at times is angry and is having a hard time dealing with her parent’s divorce. She then finds herself and a few of her friends drafted to become demon hunters with a group of Gargoyle guardians all the while dealing with the normal day to day worries of being a teenager. Will Britt and her friends be able to stop the evil demon’s plans? Read this book to find out. This story will appeal to anyone who loves fantasy and a fight between good vs. evil. Being a teenager is hard enough without the fight that Britt and her friends have on their hands. Worrying about schoolwork, what others say about them, and even a little romance makes for a full life. Add in demons and it gets quite hectic. Britt and her friends are teenagers in the way that they question authority and those who try to control what they do. I loved the spirit they show and also the loyalty that they have for each other. I enjoyed how detailed that the book was. There are times that I felt like I was right there with Britt and her friends. This is a story that had me glued to the pages until I had read the final one. It is a wonderful first book in a series and a story that I would recommend reading.
