Aliens on EarthAliens on Earth by Mandy Melanson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am not big on anthologies, but this was a fun one. Aliens and faded mates and a whole assortment of out of this world stories. All of the authors that teamed up did an amazing job, and it had a great flow. This was a book that gets you excited to read the full story when it’s released.

An amazing read! So much angst, darkness, lush, love and mystery thrown together. Chandler and Cassandra were amazing. Watching their love and lives unfold together made the story that much more enthralling. This author told a story that sucked you in and made your imagination feel a 180 chapter by chapter. I am eager to read more by her.

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising Book 3) by Nadia Han – Review by Lauren West

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising, #3)The Innovator by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Nadia han continues to charm us one story at a time. She has a way with words, and creates characters that continue to speak for them selves. Book 3 was one of my favorite, and a definite re-read in the future.
Grayson is headstrong, stubborn, sexy, and extremely intelligent. Natalie and Grayson share a Connection that even a sexual tension cant hold. They are two different sides of the same coin, and while it’s all in or nothing there are still some defiant parties.. Some chapters are so intense you could feel the anger, the heat, the frustration, and the friction from the pull between them. Natalie was a woman on a mission. She worked hard and, played harder. Prepare to not put this book down.

A Monster for Meg (Giants and Monsters) by Lois Wickstrom – Review by Lauren West

A Monster for MegA Monster for Meg by Lois Wickstrom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Absolute cutest story ever! Lois Wickstrom is amazing with every children’s story she creates. My girls loved this book the best by far and I’m with them!
The message was love yourself, love your siblings, and embrace your differences. Even with Meg being blind her sister, still treated her like any other sibling would. Trying to scare her, but also show her the importance of utilizing all your senses, especially when you’re lacking one. This book is such a great read encompassing valuable lessons. I recommended for all.

Cecily in the City (The Cecily Taylor Series Book 3) by Krysten Lindsay Hager – Review by Lauren West

Cecily in the CityCecily in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was like a modern day 90210/Gossip Girl. Cecily was a wonderful character, and there was a lot of growth for her in this book. She is excited for her new opportunity, and she is loving her life with her boyfriend and her volunteer work. As things take a turn, she starts to question a lot of things and a lot of choices. Fame and everything behind the scenes is nothing as she expected. This was a book I would definitely read again, and give to my teenage daughter to read.

Prepare to fall in love with Rowan and Chris. I enjoy fake dating tropes mixed with drama and mystery. There was so much to their story together, as much as individually. They come together unexpectedly, and each can’t ignore the pull they feel to each other. This was a great read.
Chris is doing a favor for a friend, and Rowan is trying to keep her family business alive. Together they build an entanglement meant to last.

First time read from this author, and it was enjoyable. It is a fantasy novel with its own element. Amy a heroine who was a fearless and fierce. She drove herself as well as the others around her.
This book entangles magic, drama, action, suspense, and a perfect touch of romance.

Amy knows she cannot leave her past fully behind, and the evil forces won’t stop until they have her. The Traveler series has been amazing from the start. So much depth and thought-provoking circumstance. Book 3 answers so many questions, and allows us to see the strength and growth of Harry. As he embraces his new abilities and works to control them we also see the difficulty that continues to follow him. I had many moments this book took me on an emotional ride, but kept me so excited.

Echoing Hearts (Book 1 of The Echo Series)Echoing Hearts by C.R. Alam
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I did not know if I would love or hate this book upon first glance. It was outside of the box for me because I don’t typically enjoy love triangles. This author is new to me and I would 100% pick up another book they have written. The story was heartfelt, romantic, emotional, dramatic, and felt down to earth. Rae and Dean had a story that most can humanly relate to.
Ray and Dean each had a background where heartbreak shaped their outlook on where their lives would go. With determination and distraction, they successfully avoided, the L word, and their past demons. As they find their feelings, unavoidable, they just give in and go where things lead. Both prove to be stubborn and jaded. They dive in headfirst and learn what it is like when love is meant to be.

Bully Romance is one of my absolute favorite tropes. This short and sweet read explores the toxicity, angst, betrayal, drama and additional outlying subjects that bring the store together. Cole and Riley each tell a story that binds them together but the road that links them is tainted to start. While, this book is just a preview, it does have the desire of effect inducing excitement for what is to come.

Half-Pint Porky is absolutely adorable and fun. As with anything exciting you wait for she’s impatient for pirate school because it’s her first time at big kid pirate school plus her siblings will be there. Unable to wait to go, but frightened when it’s time Half-Pint Porky has a lot to learn.
Cute story made to teach valuable lessons to our own little Porkys.
A story that teaches kids in the most positive abs fun way. Big lessons in learning to be patient, and being confidence.

Married Blind (Kings of Screen, #2)Married Blind by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes. This book hit the mark for everything needed. Humor, drama, love, angst, and the almighty when it’s right it’s right. Abi was a great down to earth girl and you can’t help but love her. Finn was the actor and bad boy who needed a touch up to his image. Together they both have things they need within the other and although random it’s a story where love is born.
