Book 1 in the series and and a very enjoyable read. Ms. Chilson told a story of passion and courage and of course the wonders of magic.
I loved Jessa and felt she was very relatable. Her love for nature and her dedication to her family and town was clear. So many elements to this story and I am eager for book 2.

The Hawke Family Complete Collection by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Lauren West

The Hawke Family Complete CollectionThe Hawke Family Complete Collection by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the collection that is worth every page. When you begin each book, it’s impossible to put it down. Every story has its place within the series and adds a much needed element tying everything together. If you want drama, action, romance, suspense, and unpredictability it’s all there. There is someone for everyone and once your engrossed you will question how you waited so long.

This second collection of the series blew me away! I was more invested , involved, and edge every time I picked up my book.
Stone Sober was my absolute favorite. Sexy, intense, and erotic. Stone and Nora take you to unbelievable places.

Building Storm was emotional and heartfelt. I felt everything all in one with this emotional ride. As with her first collection it all tied in perfect.

Collection 3 I wanted to go on forever. I enjoyed every moment of my journey to the ending but did not want it to end. I felt each characters happiness, frustration, determination, adrenaline, and more. These characters became like family and the author deserves and applause for the amazing story she wove.

I went in blind and enjoyed this book immensely. Sadly I have to read 1 and 2 for the full effect, but this book itself was amazing. I adore anything related to Greek Gods, mythology, philosophy, fables, and stories being retold with a twist. There was so much depth and detail which truly enhanced the journey!

This book was soo much fun! Great illustrations, relatable lessons, and all around read. Having 3 girls who fight like everyday is a dual to the death and every moment is a competition it was fun to read it to them. The best way to help kids understand is a story like this. A fun side to sibling rivalry and what it’d really like being siblings.

I enjoyed this book Immensely and felt connected to the characters . The world the author created was vivid and bold. This was a science fiction story that was equally about the passion of science and life as well as about living your life as you choose and doing what you love.
Our main character exude confidence, intelligence, and a carefree spirit. Their modern day space voyage takes a turn as they experience some calculated issues. As they encounter the unexpected it becomes not just about them but the world as whole.

More Than by Diane Barnes – Review by Lauren West

More ThanMore Than by Diane Barnes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved every moment of this book. Peggy was Very real, raw, and flawed as any and all human beings can be. Losing her husband and raising her kids alone truly isolated and put her into a place where she felt she had no one and her survival mode was food, her children, and her home. She proved to be was an amazing character! Even though she got to a place in her life that made her unaware and complacent just trying to live….when she was given the opportunity to spread her wings again she did. She transformed that fear and place of sadness and became the remarkable woman she once was. Her goals were her own, and when she found a man who saw her and appreciated her that was the icing on the cake. Anyone can end up where Peggy did, but how many can rise again?

James is trying to explore new horizons. Both are parents, professionals, and have experienced a lot within life. There is a lot of push and pull with romance and humor mixed in. This was one of the most fun books I have read in awhile. A feel good story mixed with some mystery and humor. It gives off the feel of a small and quaint town with a lot of quirky townspeople.
Our main character Bob was relatable and lovable. Truly felt like an old friend. Watching his adventure unfold with his new career and his first mystery is quite the journey. This will be a book that you will not forget and definitely will have the author on your watch for what’s next.

It’s fun, vivid, and captures your interest from start to finish. The author did a great job of leading you in and peaking your interest. There is definitely more to tell and I am eager to be apart of it.

This author did wonders with this story! I have enjoyed each book in this series.
Book 5 kicked my motherly instincts into overdrive, and I felt /related to that urgency and drive to protect your children and those you love. This new world was preceded by one where you literally had to pick and choose life or death and as book 5 ends the series you see all the strides made in love, friendship, maturity and so on. Great read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I adore a good rock star romance, and this story had that and so much more behind it! This book was funny, dramatic, emotional, heartfelt, and true ode to music and the chaos behind it.
Wil and El find such a strength in each other, but are also driven together by their passion for music and their drive to come into their own. Each has their own agenda and not everything is blacks and white. Like every good rock story there are secrets, lies, betrayal and the age old question of whether the show will truly go on!

True ColorsTrue Colors by K.R. Raye
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Book 3 was emotional, heartfelt, and truly unpredictable. Melody, Imani, and Lance have weathered the storm of the start of adulthood and grown so much from book 1 to 3. They have proven life hurts, love can be cruel , and things will go far from what you wanted… but friendship can and will stand strong with the right people. Drama, angst, jealousy, and survival play a few role. I loved each book more than the last and I would not change a single thing.
Each character has a special role and they played it out until the end.

I love a good rockstar bad boy romance with a good girl attached. Jared and Ella went through so much with each other. So much insecurity and misunderstanding, but also so much love. Jared was someone you hate to love, but rooted for along the way. Ella was a bleeding heart and wore her feelings on her sleeve. From start to finish I liked their story and this is one journey you will enjoy following.

I truly love this author! She writes her romance with such a realistic feel and it’s not an easy trek to her MC and FC happily ever after. Beckett and Greer left their mark! Hot hero falling hard but can explain why. Jealous and possessive over his girl. Greer is sweet, supportive, and lovable. She brought out his good and he brought out her spirit and put her on a pedestal. He bullied and pushed her in a corner, but she was the one to trap him in the end. I enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to give it a second read.

I loved every chapter this book helps and could not get enough of the journey within it!
