Love Me, Dreamy (Love Me Series) by Laura Burton – Review by Maura Harper

Love Me, DreamyLove Me, Dreamy by Laura Burton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I read this book completely blind. I didn’t look at cover, look at the blurb or read any reviews. For the first few chapters, I had no idea where the book was heading and I almost looked to see what it was about. I am so glad I did not because it was a very enjoyable way to read.

This story mesmerized me the whole way through. There is enough solid writing with a definite timeline, a bit of mystery and a whole cast of well developed characters.

I absolutely recommend this quick and easy read.

Love Me Dreamy: A YA Paranormal Romance with Breathtaking Twists by Laura Burton is a fantastic stand-alone Novel.
I found the book to be so mysterious right from the description. I immediately knew I had to read this book to find out what was going on – what the secret was, who the men in suits were and what would happen at the waterfall.
The writing back up the book straight away too. It was gripping and well written. If you are a fan of YA then you should definitely try this book.

The story Love Me, Dreamy (Love Me Series) by Laura Burton is a YA/paranormal/fantasy book. It is a story that I loved reading and found out once I started, I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Amelia and Toby. There is an attraction and chemistry between them. Sparks fly when they are together. The only problem is the strange men in suits that keep appearing wherever they go. Who are they? Does Toby know more than what he is saying? What does the future hold for Amelia and Toby? Read this book to find out. This story is both mysterious and romantic. It is entertaining and it was an awesome book to read. I loved how much detail was put into the story and at times I felt like I was right there with Amelia and Toby. Don’t miss out on an exciting story that you won’t be able to put down. I highly recommend it.

Love, Me (A Pleasant Valley Novel) by Anna Brooks – Review by Debi Kircher

Love, Me (A Pleasant Valley Novel) by Anna Brooks
5x a million stars!

This is my first book by this author and all I can think of is why have I never read one of her books because this was amazing!!

Rayne Garner works at her parents restaurant, she made a promise to her boyfriend and has remained completely loyal, and faithful since. She lives her life for someone that really doesn’t even deserve it. She has amazing friends and family that are always there when she needs them. She has never thought twice about being disloyal until she meets the guy that just rented the store next door to the restaurant.

Vaughn Morris just moved back to town and rents a building to open his tattoo shop. He comes off as a tough guy yet has deep feelings. His childhood was awful and he has never had the family he wished he’d had. He is haunted daily with memories of his past life in this town and questions coming back until he meets the girl at the restaurant next door.

There is an instant connection between Rayne and Vaughn, the problem is the more he pursues the more she backs away yet always comes back. The mixed signals drive Vaughn nuts and when she begs to just be friends he makes it clear that won’t be enough for him. When he finds out there’s a boyfriend he backs away. He will never touch another man’s woman. Rayne just can’t help being pulled back towards Vaughn every chance she gets. She can see that underneath all his cockiness there is a lot of pain, but how can she help him when she can’t face her own reality. Can they both get past the challenges that lie ahead of them? Can each one find happiness?

I truly loved this story. the characters were written so perfectly and I fell in love with everyone in this book. The author caught me off guard a couple times, I can normally read a book and come up with what might happen, but in this one there were a couple surprises. I can not wait to read all of her other books. This was amazing and I highly recommend it!

Love, Me (Pleasant Valley, #2) by Anna Brooks – Review by Jenni Bishop

Love, Me (Pleasant Valley, #2)Love, Me by Anna Brooks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rayne Garner can not let go from the past and she made a promise she has vowed to keep which has stopped her from living a loving and fulfilling life for the last two years. However when she has a chance meeting with a man, it has her second guessing everything she thought she knew and wanted. Things Rayne has not felt in years and it is currently testing her love, loyalty and especially the vow she made and the promise that she made to keep that vow. Rayne doesn’t know how to let go of the past and be able to move on with the future.

Vaughn Morris has a love for tattooing and he is good at it. He has only ever wanted a normal life, whatever that is. He has now returned to his home town but along with it comes the most extremely painful reminders of his past and lost youth. A past that has caused scars so deep in his soul that he is unable to fully live that is until he meets Rayne. Vaughn doesn’t know how to love but he knows what he wants and that means Rayne, any how any way he can get her. The idea of relationships and love is one foreign concept.

Can Vaughn and Rayne just be friends? Can they get over their past to have a future? Will they fight for each other? Will honesty keep them apart? Will they find their happily ever after? Will Rayne realise what has held her back? Will Vaughn finally be free when the past is no longer a threat? Will those who love Rayne the best help her to get her life back on track or will they keep her in the past?

This story is well written and about how two people fall in love and learn that some people are just as necessary as the air they breathe. It pulls on your heart strings to see what these two young people have had to endure in their past but can over come for the one they love when they truly let go.

Love, Me (Pleasant Valley, #2) by Anna Brooks – Review by Jana Teppih

Love, Me (Pleasant Valley, #2)Love, Me by Anna Brooks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Me is the second book in Anna Brooks Pleasant Valley series and I read it as a standalone. It was my first encounter with this writer and I fell in love with her writing! I am looking forward to the third book as we got a glimpse into the characters who will be the leads in the third book already here!
The story captivated me from the start! The way how the writer manages to spellbound you, oh my lord, she sucks you in and doesn’t let go – I literally had to spend my whole Sunday with Vaughn and Rayne, our main characters of this story!
Both of them fight such crazy demons and at times you might ask yourself how on earth do they manage to get up in the morning and face another day and is it really possible for one to have lived all this without anyone stepping in earlier and … yes, it is! We are so good at closing our eyes to other’s suffering and not getting involved (Vaughn’s case) and we are also so great at keeping appearances so that the people closest to us and who should help us, do not even get a hint of what is going on behind the closed doors (Rayne’s case).
The writer was very considerate and caring and the way she puts the words together is like pearls on a strand that just keeps going and giving! Thank you Anna Brooks for this amazing story and please do not keep us waiting too long for the next one!
