5-Stars

Read Between The Lines (Freshwater Book 1) by Belinda Williams was an amazing read. Kat holds her personal life close since she is in the spotlight. Her neighbor Matt leads a quiet life as a doctor. After living next to each other for some time they finally meet. I loved how quickly the chemistry between the two seemed to ignite and grow into an inferno. Reading along as the two shared secrets with each other had me smiling and crying at times. They both had great personalities benefiting their career paths.

I was hooked with this story immediately at the start. It was humorous, realistic, romantic, and entertaining all in one. The storyline was easy to follow and had an easy flow. It was organized well and kept me interested. I loved this book and easily award it 5 stars. I highly recommend it.

The Scene (Dylan Hart Series Book 1) by R.M. Gilmore was exciting and intriguing. Dylan was on the hunt for why girls were showing up dead as if a vampire had killed them for her book. Little did she know that she would get pulled in and put herself on the killer’s radar. Her character was hilarious, witty, and smart. I loved her way of thinking and her frequent conversations with herself. I also loved bff Tatum. Those two were like two peas in a pod. It was amazing how in sync they were and how easily they worked together to find out information. I loved their shenanigans in this book. This was such an excellent read. Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski was an excellent dystopian romance. I loved the world building and how the author opens with an explanation of what changed the world. It set up the basic background for why everything reverted back to carriages and horseback for travel. I loved the main characters and their development. Thea matured greatly after the first attack on the palace. I felt that as the main character she was easy to relate to and visualize. Her brother Arthur irked me at times but he ultimately stepped up to take care of her and to fulfill his duties. This was an excellent read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Her methods are different and it doesn’t necessarily mean the curse will leave but I enjoyed her creativity. This book was not what I expected and I liked that.
