Imprisoned Online: Gaming the System (A LitRPG Adventure Book 1) by P.A. Wikoff

5-Stars

Imprisoned Online: Gaming the System (A LitRPG Adventure Book 1) by P.A. Wikoff was creative fictitious novel. I was extremely impressed with the authors imagination in that he created a fascinating world where online gaming has pretty much taken over. The world has literally become to hazardous to live in but the human race has created devices to allow them to live safely and be able to fully immense themselves in the online world.

The main character was even more fascinating than the world he lived in. He was very different from his family and, as seen at the start of the book, does not really care to be in the online system like the rest of the world. He was definitely fun to follow in this novel and was developed well. I also loved how easily the story seemed to flow and keep my interest. This was an excellent read and I highly recommend it!

Matt’s Swirly World: Children’s Book by Madeleine Matthews was a cute children’s book that helps teach a lesson on emotions and mindfulness. I loved the illustrations in this book and the bright colors. My son loved it too and really liked the Dragon. It had a wonderful way of teaching mindfulness to children but would require some help from an adult to help explain it more. Very cute and creative though!

Elemental Fae Academy (Elemental Fae Academy Book 2) by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn was just as exciting as. The first book! I loved that her other mates were finally brought into the picture with this book. Exos is locked away for most of this book which made his brother have to step in to continue with Claire’s training. I was amazed how quickly things escalated in book two. The ending had a huge shock for me. I loved it!

As with the first book in this series, I really enjoyed the development of each character. Each was unique in his and her own way. I loved the different connections each Fae male had with Claire. I also loved the magical scenery in this novel which seemed to play up the abilities of the Fae. This was an excellent novel and great addition to its series.

I was completely wrapped up in both Ian and Rachel as this story progressed. Both had tragic situations that occurred in their lives at different times but gave each a different understanding of the other. It also helped them connect on a different level. Saying that, I felt like their characters had different layers that were peeled back as the story progressed. This demonstrated excellent character development as well as the authors own creativity. This was an excellent read and I highly recommend it.

5-stars

Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester was a fun romantic novel that was easy to read. I loved Scarlet, Dilly, Daffy, Nick , and even young Noah. They all had excellent character development. Dilly and Daffy were portrayed as very sweet and obedient pups. They had an excellent connection with Scarlett, their owner. Scarlett had a 6 month rule when it came to dating which to me was odd but made sense as the story went on. I loved how dedicated and determined Nick was in breaking that habit. He was an excellent man and was described as being very attractive. Scarlett and Nick both made the story excellent and very enjoyable. I loved following along as they moved their “non relationship” to a new level. Such an amazing read!

Evil Sushi (Evil Sushi Series Book 1) by C.A. King was an excellent read. I loved the characters and the plot of the story. I liked that this book took pollution and issues with climate change to the extreme to create a world almost completely void of ocean life. It made for the fascinating creation of the Evil Sushi. The characters of this novel really brought out the craziness that could happen with a shortage of different resources and the consequences.

This author definitely brought forth her creativity with this novel and the characters. I had no problem following along as the story progressed and I cannot wait to see what happens in book two! Such a fun fantasy novel! I highly recommend it.

Virtue & Vice (Spicetopia #2) by Phoebe Alexander

5-Stars

Virtue & Vice (Spicetopia #2) by Phoebe Alexander was an excellent steamy Romance. I love reading Alexander’s books. With this novel shed did an excellent job with her characters Moon and Katja. They were introduced originally at the end of book one and this story has a greater focus on them. I do recommend that book one be read prior to this since it builds off of that storyline. It will help readers understand what is going on better.

I also really enjoyed the storyline and how organized it seemed to be. I had no trouble keeping pace with it as well. It does have a lot of sexual content so it is not a recommendation I would give to readers under 18. I do highly recommend this book and hope others check it out. It is easy to get lost in.

A Perfect Fit by Zoe Lee was a funny romantic and witty read. Being that this is book two in its series, I might mention that it can be read as a standalone. Also, it is for more mature audiences since there are various sexual scenes, innuendos, and comments.

The author, Lee, easily pulls readers into the novel with an opening involving a wedding reception. Daisy and Dunk fall into the typical couple to hook up in the wedding party but unfortunately Dunk is black out drunk. This leads to him believing it was all just a dream at first. He is then sent on a wild goose chase by his friends to find his sexual Cinderella. With that, it lead way to a hilarious storyline with excellent character development. Tangles by Sharleen Scott was easily a 5-star read. I felt inspired and moved by the amount of emotion and love in this story. The story’s main focus was on Logan and Lois, his mother. He begins to care for her after his father suddenly passes. It is difficult for him because she has Alzheimers and has a very difficult time with her memory. I loved how much Logan’s character seemed to soften and mellow out after discovering her old diaries. It was amazing how it seemed to turn things. Despite her issues with her Alzheimers, Lois was a magnificent lady.

This novel really pulled me in and O found it easy to relate to having worked with an Alzheimers population myself. I felt that the author did well with the detail and information given in this story. This was definitely a delightful read and I highly recommend it.
