Again, the side characters becoming main characters is my favorite thing ever. This book is so realistic, yet hard hitting and transparent all the way through. The smut level on this one is minimal but I loved it just the same. Saffie meets Niran at a maternity appointment after just barely escaping the clutches of MC gang afraid to trust another. We watch the beautiful story unfold as Saffie and Niran both learn how to live with each other and how everything seems to fall into place. Until… someone awful shows up – could this mean death for all of them? Or just Saffie?

Yet another absolute smash hit by Manda Mellett. This book to be repetitive is still amazing!! I love the danger, romance, smut, character development, and world building of this book. I can honestly say there were a decent amount of times where I felt like I was watching a Netflix show because this book is just that well written. I highly recommend this book on ever level.
After Pasty’s ex husband dies, and her youngest son fesses up to all of the illegal activity behind his father and his uncle. The safety of Pasty and Connor is compromised, leading the only option to be witness protection – but also protection from Satan’s Devils as well. We follow Pasty as she not only tries to protect both of her children, but also finding herself with a very large emotional challenge when it comes to the chapters president Lost. As danger rises Lost’s only option is to move Patsy and her son onto the compound and just in time. Lost and his MC begin to investigate just how they can get Alder off of Patsy’s trail. Through trial and error and a decent amount of teamwork everything seems to work out in the end, or does it? As everything takes a sharp turn when things are taken out of Satan’s Devils hands.

Turning Wheels is the first novel in the Satan’s Devils MC series. It is about the Tucson chaoter of the Satan’s Devils motorcycle club and follows Wealth, the club’s VP.
Sophie is a loyal friend, who ends up getting injured for being that loyal friend. When she ends up acquiring protection from the most unlikely place. And that protection takes her to a crazy new place, really a whole new world.
Wraith is the VP of the Tucson chapter’s club and happy with his life the way it is. When an honorary member of the club comes to visit with a guest, he is taken aback.
When Wraith and Sophie have to spend more time together, can Wraith convince Sophie that she is still amazing?
I love Manda Mellet’s MC series! They are long, detailed, and true page turners! I cannot wait to read more!

This was a new author for me but after reading the description I decided it was worth the read. My gamble payed off big time as I was hooked from the first page unable to put this book down. I mean sexy bikers, damsels in distress, and a known and unknown threat I was bought in from the beginning and am very interested in reading the whole series. The beginning couple of chapters are a difficult read that took me through a myriad of emotions. After being a good friend Sophie finds herself the victim with no real closure on who was at fault. Why her? Throughout this book she must come to terms with her new physical abilities and the author really made this character so relatable to what most of us would go through if the same thing had happened to us. Enter her knight in not so shining armor sent by her friend Zoe to protect her from being used as a pawn in her ex’s dangerous game. Relying on some friends that have a code not to harm women or children Horse takes Sophie to a Biker’s gang in the states that he hopes is out of range of the threat back home. Here she meets Wraith who has sworn off women and doesn’t even want to consider having an old lady. This falls on par with Sophie’s way of thinking I mean after all she feels no man would want to be shackled to someone with so many disabilities. With the attraction between Wraith and Sophie building will they forgo their original thinking? Can anyone make Wraith settle down? How close is the real threat to Sophie? Are the Satan’s Devils able to protect Sophie from enemies foreign and those close to home? You will have to read this book to find out more, but trust me take the leap you absolutely will not regret it!

Turning Wheels is the first in it’s series and also a first time read from this author! Most certainly will NOT be my last either! She is now one of my fave authors. Turning Wheels was soooooo GOOD! 🔥🔥 It was written so realistically. I was riveted from page one. Very addictive story line. It was told in a dual POV between Wraith and Sophie ( which I absolutely love 🖤) Just a stellar story! So eager to read the next story in the series.

Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan’s Devil MC San Diego by Manda Mellett is a fantastic book that will leave you desperate to get your hands on the next book. I am a huge fan of this series and this book for me has got to be one of my favourites. I loved Saffie and Niran. Their story to me came across as imperfect and flawed which made it so believable and captivating. They aren’t perfectly polished characters. Instead they have character and grit whiz made me love them all the more. I knew going into this book that it wasn’t going to be all nicely tied up at the end. However I wasn’t expecting to still be thinking about they book days after I had finished reading. So much so that I even went back for a re-read, which isn’t something I usually do this soon. The cover for this book is also hands down my favourite one. I was instantly drawn to it and felt like the author had captured the character so well with it. I absolutely cannot wait for book two and would urge everyone to read that book today!

Loved getting lost in this world of danger, violence, bikers, adrenaline, romance, and spice! The writing is totally immersive, and the characters are so well developed that it will have you caring for them and even fearing for their safety! Sophie’s growth is sad and beautiful to witness and the plot twists were unexpected, thrilling and sometimes sad. This book also had me laughing on more than one occasion. If you found yourself enjoying shows like Sons of Anarchy, then you will love this book! The book also addresses some pretty serious issues, and trigger warnings (thought not too many) should be checked. Honestly super excited to read the other books in this series!

I love, love, love! Avenging Devil Part 1: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett! When I saw that this book was about Niran I was so excited. Niran is one of those characters from earlier books that I wanted to learn more about. Niran’s need to help and befriend Saffie, who he meets by chance when he goes to an appointment with Mary, just shows how awesome he is. You will have a hard time putting the book down at times.
A word of caution, the parts about Saffie’s past are hard to get through and might be a trigger for some people. It is a key part of the story of Niran & Saffie so I felt a warning was needed.

Wow! I still haven’t recovered from the book hangover from reading Avenging Devil Part One by Manda Mellett. I knew the book had a cliffhanger before I read it but I just wasn’t prepared for how emotional this book would make me feel and how much I wanted to throw my kindle away when I reached the end and realised that there wasn’t any more…for now! I have been a huge fan of Manda Mellett for a couple of years now and absolutely adore the Satan’s Devil MC books. I swear that they get better and better each book I read. I don’t know how she has the imagination to continually bring new fresh stories about this wonderful group of men and the women who ensnare them. She’s not afraid to tackle difficult issues and this book tackles the heartbreaking topic of pregnancy troubles (I wont say any more then that). In this book we get the start of Niran and Saffie’s amazing story and we get an update on Grumbler and Mary from the last book. Saffie’s story is dark and heartbreaking. You are dragged through every emotion possible reading about her life previous to meeting Niran. I was totally hooked on this story and did not want to put it down. Why do we have to work to earn a living? It totally gets in the way of reading time and I did not want to take any breaks from this book. It’s definitely what’s described as a page turner. If you really hate a cliffhanger so much then wait a few weeks for part 2 to come out but please read this book. You will not be disappointed.

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC #1) by Manda Mellett is the first book in this series. I was not familiar with this author, but took a leap, and I am glad I did. The main character, Sophie, is endearing and relatable as they come, and her story is definitely an original twist on the everyday romance. The author’s way of telling Sophie’s story is interesting and vivid and keeps the pages turning. You really don’t know what is going to happen next! The juxtaposition of Sophie and Wraith make this a very steamy, very intriguing romance story that kept me hooked until the very end. I love these two characters together. This is not a book you want to pick up at bed time to “wind down.” Unless you really just want to keep reading until you hear the birds sing, then go ahead!! This is really a great read. 5 stars.

OMG what I just read is amazing. Manda Mellett has done it again with Avenging Devil Part 1. I couldn’t put it down after starting it. I was hooked from the beginning of this series and this novel just makes it even more. Manda Mellett is a fantastic author and storyteller. Warning there is a mega huge cliffhanger at the end of this novel. I can’t wait for part 2 to come out so I can see what happens to Saffie and Niran. Avenging Devil is the third novel in this series and I think the best one yet. Manda Mellett keeps things consistent with characters and they make reappearing roles in the novels.

I loved this book. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her writing skills and attention to details just give life to her stories. They are written with a lot of heart and not only hot, steamy MC but some action as well. This book is no different. The characters bring the story to life and are connectable. They pulled me in from the beginning. This is an engaging, fast paced story that kept me turning pages to the end. This is a story where the past comes crashing into the present and could get a little dangerous. This is a dark story that could have some triggers for some but if you are able to get past that, this is an awesome story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author

Unable to make it himself, Grumbler had made a simple request that I accompany his old lady to her prenatal appointment.
If I hadn’t, I would never have come across her, a woman broken in only ways a woman could break. Someone who desperately needed a friend in her corner.
Why did that have to be me? Believe me, I’d asked that of myself, but I couldn’t just walk away.
I had to use a truck when I visited her, which meant I wasn’t wearing a cut. She didn’t know I was a biker.
Perhaps it would have been better had she never found out.
Saffie
I’m a woman on the run from my past, a past so horrific I’m surprised I survived. I thought I’d known the worst that life could throw at me, but I was sadly very wrong.
When Niran came across me, I was breaking apart, and nothing could put me back together. Nothing, perhaps, then this man who seemed determined to try.
Until I found out he represented all my nightmares rolled into one.
The past, which I thought I’d left behind, is closing in on me. And to fight it, I need Niran by my side.
Note: This book is ends on a cliffhanger, Part 2 can be pre-ordered now. It’s also dark and is not for the faint-hearted or those easily triggered.
Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

Turning Wheels was the first book by Manda Mellett that I read and I am sooooooo happy that I picked this one up. I loved Sons of Anarchy and this was right up my alley. She had great character development and she made me go through so many emotions through out the book that I cant wait to pick up the next one in the series.
Sophie is a victim of a hit and run that leaves her in a wheelchair, one legged and helpless. She goes through it all with wanting to kill herself. Whos is going to want a cripple as a girlfriend/lover/wife. Her friend Zoe her best friend gets in a world of trouble and Sophie has to make a run for it. She gets the protection of the Satans Devil MC. Will Sophie be in her element or not? How will she get on with her life there? She blames herself for bringing all the bad stuff to the club. With some bullying and determination she finds a way out of her wheelchair thanks to Peg and Wraith.
This book is so action packed that it just keeps you reading and wanting more that I am grateful there are more in the series.

Whew! Plot was well-developed and definitely an original storyline with tragic circumstances at the beginning. I was definitely hooked from the first chapter. We get to watch our heroine develop and grow. I really enjoyed getting to know Wraith. I loved the way he was with Sophie. I enjoy stories with multiple characters especially if I know I can look forward to their love stories. I will be reading the next books in the series. The author did a great job of bringing some issues forward that are overlooked when it comes to a disabled or handicapped individual. I’m interested to see if this was something she wanted to do with just this story, or if other stories in this series deal with issues or trauma. Overall, great read!

Jumping into this story, I knew I would be in for a wild ride. What really pulled me wanting to reading this story all starts with Sophie. Sophie had been injured, losing a leg below the knee and is a wheel chair. She’s being hunted by her best friend’s ex boyfriend and her saving grace is a biker gang called the Satan’s Devil. My favourite thing about Sophie is she isn’t just the girl next door. She’s got a mouth and isn’t afraid to use it. She struggles with her trauma and tries to overcome it and grow from it too. The helping hand comes from the most unlikely of places, from Wraith. Meeting Wraith, the VP in the gang, he is the walking-talking epitome of a VP biker gang member. His inner thoughts are laughable but when I wasn’t in his head, it felt like I was reading a totally different character. This story felt like a movie, as it is fast pace and full of action, and if your into biker gangs than this would grab your interest.

Book Review: Turning Wheels: Satan’s Devils #1 Author: Manda Mellett Five Stars Manda Mellett is a new to me author, thank goodness for my Kindle Unlimited subscription I get to meet all these new authors and fall in love with their characters and stories. Turning the Wheels is a 1% Motorcycle Club book about the Satan’s Devils and Sophie. Sophie came to them to hide from a man who was trying to hunt her down to torture and kill. Wraith turns into her hero in this story, among other things. There are many twists and turns to this story and to find that Sophie acutally has a few things in common with the men in Satan’s Devils is really cool. The way they come together to help each other is pretty cool. Loved this book and I will be picking up more of them. KLH

Being a die-hard SOA fan, I had to read this one. Sophie went through an immense struggle. Going from leading an independent life to having it shattered in one day and having to learn to be independent all over again takes so much. Who could blame her for having a pity party? The shock of Horse kicking down her front door after he hears her crash trying to get to the front door would be a huge shocker too. I don’t know about anyone else but sexy MC don’t come kicking my door in. I had thought maybe Horse and Sophie were going to hook up but the story comes with a few twists you never quite see coming. Horse gets her to Arizona in the good old USA to hide out with Satan’s Devil’s. He leaves to go do the jobs painting motorcycles that he his hired to do. Wraith, another sexy MC, ends up falling for her and taking her under his wing. The whole club protects her when they see the video of what happened. Those that don’t end up ant food. With the help of Peg, she gains confidence to be independent without the wheelchair. She also begins to fit in with the MC, which surprises all. The characters felt so realistic. You felt the emotions with the characters in the story. If someone died, you felt it., etc. Best MC book series I’ve read.

I’ve given this club more years of my life than I care to remember, most recently giving them my all as sergeant-at-arms. My life is settled and just the way I like it. I’m too old to change now.
I’ve never had a woman to call my own, nor fathered kids, and never felt I missed out. My brothers sometimes joke my motorcycle is my old lady, and I can’t argue.
So when a photographer wants to feature my baby I can’t resist showing her off. It should have been simple, instead it brought complications that I never dreamed off.
Mary
I’m a frazzled single mom of a seventeen-year-old girl whose life seems to revolve around challenging me. She’s not quite adult, but doesn’t see herself as a child, constantly pushing at boundaries.
I spend my time trying to keep one step ahead of her, but if I give an inch, she takes a mile. Her latest endeavour? To model for a perfect stranger. Oh, the battles when I said she wasn’t going without me as chaperone.
I was right, something was off about the situation, but what it was took a while to emerge. I can’t imagine how I’d have coped if it hadn’t been for the gruff biker called Grumbler.
Note: This book is dark in places and may contain triggers.

Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC #1) by Manda Mellett. I love Manda Mellett and this series is going to be just as great as all the others! This book will keep you turning pages all day as fast as you can! Its the story of Sophie who is disabled due to a trying to to escape her abusive boyfriend and she feels like her life is over. She thinks no man will ever want to be with her again. The depression and insecurity is bad. Due to her ex she begins to get protection from the Satan’s Devils, a motorcycle club in Arizona. If this had happened before the accident she would have been all over being around all these bad biker’s but right now she feels insecure. When Wraith is set to watch over Sophie he’s upset because she will stick out like a sore thumb being in a wheelchair but something attracts him to her. He can’t help being almost obsessed with her. Sophie is attracted to Wraith but is too insecure to act on it. Wraith finally figures out a way to make her realize her worth and tries to keep her safe in the process. This is such a good book, emotional and romantic.

I adored this story so much! I love Lost and Patsy. This story is just enough action and romance anyone could want. I love that their relationship isn’t typical. They are both older in age , but together they act like teens. I love patsy and her strength. As a mother it hits close to home. When she had to protect her kids, Lost stepped up and protected her. I could not recommend this more. I’m so ready to read the next one!!

Manda Mellett did it again with Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1! I ate this book up and left no crumbs. As soon as i submit my review I’m starting the next book in the series.
I have to be honest- anytime i read books with older main characters- older meaning could have grown children! I have a toddler so I’m not there just yet (; – i put the book down. I just can’t make myself read it (same with high school age characters!) What I’m trying to say is that this book had me break my habits and I’m glad for it!
Anyway! The characters, the mains being Lost and Patsy, were incredibly relatable. The storyline was believable and sucked me in. I’ve been a fan of MC books for awhile now and she’s easily becoming my favorite MC author. On to the next one ya’ll!

Wraith is the VP of the Satan’s Devils. Sophie was crippled by a madman and is in a wheelchair. She thinks no one could want her, but she is so wrong. Wraith fell in love at first sight. For him that’s all it took. Turning Wheels is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC series. Manda Mellett has what it takes to write a compelling MC novel. She keeps her readers attention from the begging of the novel to the end. I definitely recommend this author and novel to anyone who likes reading MC novels.

I absolutely adore this book and this author! Turning Wheels is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC series by Manda Mellett. I love this book for a multitude of reasons. This author really knows how to grab your attention from the very beginning and for me that is HUGE! My attention has to be caught from the get go or else I will stop reading it. This book…I started from beginning to end in a matter of a couple of days. I did not want to put it down! This book follows Sophie who was tragically injured and left in a wheel chair. Then it turns out that someone is after her with a contract to kill her. Wraith is the Satan’s Devils MC Vice President. The MC has been brought in to protect her. What they didn’t realize is there is an undeniable connection that is formed between Wraith and Sophie. Sophie is also left depressed with no self-esteem left. So what does Wraith do? He shows her how much she is worth exactly albeit through a bunch of twists and turns that no one sees coming! I love these two and the sass only a British woman can have! This book does not disappoint and neither do the rest of Manda’s books!

I have been in an MC romance reading mood and Turning Wheels (Stan’s Devils MC, Book 1) by Manda Mellett was the perfect addition to my growing obsession with this trope. If you like a drama with suspense and a romance that leaves you needing a cold shower, you need to read this book. Sophie and Wraith’s story had me on the edge of my seat and stopping a few times for a cool down from the hotness. I don’t want to give too much away, just take my option and go read this book Besides the main characters, the secondary characters had me wanting to know more and looking forward to finding out their stories.

I am new to this author and she did not disappoint. This was an amazing read. I finished in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. I was hooked from beginning to end. Awesome start to the series. I can’t wait to read more.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. I truly stepped outside my comfort zone on this one, but am I glad I did.
We follow the story of Sophie, who is a great representation that we don’t see much of in reading. She’s truly a breath of fresh air and then enters in Wraith. Our biker man, the VP of the Satan’s Devils.
The story progresses truly at a wonderful speed, leaving you wanting more. Be warned there is some graphic content for some. However, if you love the motorcycle club atmosphere and all the emotions that come with it this is for you.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good MC story but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Satan’s Devil MC and now I’m addicted. I could not put this book down until the end. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.
Sophie helped her best friend escape a very dangerous relationship and she ends up in a wheelchair. She has not heard from her in a long time and all of a sudden she is found in danger once again. Her friend’s boyfriend now has a hit on her and she needs to hide or she will find herself dead. Sophie has no choice but to be protected by a bikers club called the Satan’s Devils. She is in a whole new world with these men. Sophie never would have thought that she would have feelings for the VP but there is something about him. Will Sophie find safety there or will she be in even more danger?
