Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC #1) by Manda Mellett – Review by Ashley Dover

Turning Wheels (Satan's Devils MC, #1)Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sophie finds out that her best friend, Zoe, is being abused by her boyfriend, Ethan St Johns-Davies. Zoe needs money, and Sophie is more than willing to help after seeing her friend all banged up. Unfortunately for Sophie, Mr. St Johns-Davies is not the type of person that you mess with on a whim. She finds that out the hard way.

Now, Sophie is wheel-chair bound and is in a deep depression regarding her life. But good news comes in an unlikely man who goes by Horse. Zoe has finally escaped the grasp of St Johns-Davies. Horse decides it’s best if Sophie leaves the country for a while, so he takes her to his friends, the Satan’s Devils MC on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona.

The Devils have decided to house Sophie and protect her. Can they protect her from St. Johns-Davies? What other kinds of threats will come her way?

I am not a fan of motorcycle club books usually, but I was drawn into this story quickly with Horse being the knight in black jeans and a black leather jacket. Sophie’s story is one that many should look to for how to get through those difficult valleys that life can throw at you. Great read!
