10 days was a super cute, fun read! I blew through this book in two days flat.
An author, Alex, decides he needs a camping trip so he can experience first hand what it’s like to live off the land in a survival situation for a book he is writing. Who best to accompany him but his two best friends who just happen to be experts on the subject. It was fun, sweet, sarcastic, fast paced, and even had me laughing out loud in a few places. I really enjoyed the relationship the characters had with each other. 10 days would appeal most to people who enjoy contemporary romances but I think this is a fun read for anyone.

Alex is an author with a case of writer’s block. His friends Luke and Penny agree to take him on a 10 day camping trip to help him. There he falls in love with Penny. But will she return his feelings and what will Luke think?
Alex was not my favorite character. He felt super inconsistent, I’m not sure why he would choose to write a book about a marine lost in the woods, when he had never been in the service and hated the outdoors. It didn’t make sense to me. His background was also confusing.
I did like both the characters of Penny and Luke. There are themes of self harm, so trigger warning for anyone who needs it. It was definitely fun to read the steamy bits, but I found myself skipping over parts to get to those because I wasn’t enjoying Alex’s inner monologue and the rest of the story.

I have not read the adventures of the Raven group before, so when I flipped the first page of the book, I was pretty much bowled out by the introductions itself. Then the book jumped straight into action, with a massive heist being planned in Istanbul. Samaar and Alice, Luke’s step daughter join Luke in Istanbul for a restful trip. When Luke was away, Alice befriends a shopkeeper’s assistant. And that night, there is a heist which happens in several shops in Istanbul, including the shop in question. The assistant texts Alice and the Raven group gets involved. The story is action packed and I stayed up late night to finish the book. There is a parallel track on Luke also going on in the book, holding a deep secret by himself, which is equally intriguing. There are lies and twists, action and thrills. Sit back, and enjoy the roller-coaster ride.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Hager makes me want to come back and read more. The Cecily Taylor Series is an amazing way to start a series.
Cecily is the shy girl next door type. She wants to be an actress, but isn’t trained. Getting the chance to star in a music video with her popstar crush is amazing. The quote I chose for Cecily is: “Musicians have a way of doing that. I’d probably forget my own name if I met Andrew Holiday. I just hope she stops making passive aggressive comments.”
Andrew is a famous musician. When he auditions in a small town he gets something he’s been looking for. Enter Cecily and he finds what he’s looking for in a girl. The quote I chose for Andrew is: “Maybe that’s why it worked so well. You weren’t trying too hard. I dunno. It just worked for some reason, you know? Like you were meant to be in it.”
Highly recommended for YA Contemporary Romance lovers.

Cecily Taylor is your typical seventeen year old girl, she has a close group of friends and a cute boyfriend who she loves, she also has a crush on the popstar Andrew Holiday and has for years, but it isn’t all sunshine and she has had people close to her leave and then not talk to her again, so she has some insecurities around it and a bit of a lack of self esteem, but which teenagers don’t have something like that?
Her boyfriend is in love with her, but he isn’t very romantic, but her best friend helps him out when needed and although it is sweet, Cecily would rather he thinks of these things himself on occasion, but he likes to spend time with her, be that on a coffee date at the library, or watching sports with her at home, even if she does fall asleep and misses the whole thing. However, when one of her friends gets an audition to be in the music video which is being filmed in their home town and Andrew Holiday is the one whose video it will be, Cecily is shocked when she asks her to go as moral support and her parents let her, as long as there is an adult chaperone there as well, but if not, then she would have asked to go to the open auditions with her friends anyway, it would be good practice if she wanted to pursue her career as an actress after all.
The next day, Cecily gets ready for school after she finds out that the private audition with her friend has been moved up, the video said they were looking for the “Girl next door” and that is how she looked normally, then she shows up at school and sees what her friend is wearing and she is not so sure what exactly that means anymore, but hopefully her anxiety wouldn’t get the better of her. As the day goes on all the school is talking about is the auditions, all too soon the day was over and they were heading to the playhouse where the audition was going to be held, her friends mum filled out the paperwork and then her name is called, but as she is going through the door, Andrew himself walks out asking about getting some coffee, walks straight past her and makes a beeline for Cecily, much to her amazement and asks he if she is auditioning too, when she replies in the negative, he asks her to reconsider and come in onto the set anyway. All of a sudden Cecily is being asked to be an extra by the director, saying that she has the “ethereal” look he is going for, he then hands her some forms to fill in and asks her and her friend to come back at 4am on Saturday for the shoot.
As she fills in her family, best friend and boyfriend about the turn of events, they are all surprised but really happy for her, however, her boyfriend starts to act weirdly, but blames it on his mum’s health and says nothing is wrong. The next day Cecily asks his what is going on when she eventually sees him, but he is talking to his ex and seems distracted, this continues the next couple of days, it turns out that he has been seeing more of his ex than normal, although the reason is because she has just broken up with her boyfriend and was upset, but Cecily can’t understand it and feels a little upset and betrayed herself, this feeling continues when the same thing happens and they end up arguing. As Saturday turns up and the filming day arrives, Cecily hasn’t slept well and has no idea what to expect, but Andrew puts her at ease and seems to be as nice as he projects, there is something there and their connection seems more than just superficial, but will Cecily follow her dreams of being with Andrew, or will she stick to her loving boyfriend and the small town familiarity he exudes? This is a sweet romance which will pull you along with Cecily as she figures out what her heart desires and makes the choices she needs to.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Holliday had me hooked from the beginning. 10 Days is a great start to a new author.
Alex didn’t think the 10 days would be so bad. He is there for a writing project. He thought he’d be able to pull it off, but he didn’t think about falling in love. The quote I chose for Alex is: “I’m going to have to seriously work on raising your expectations about how people treat you.”
Penny is there for the fun of it. She is helping Alex with his outdoor experience. What she doesn’t expect is for Alex to fall in love with her. The quote I chose for Penny is: “The tent. I figured your first lesson would be figuring out how to set it up.”

Secure Her is book 4 in the series. I have read the others in the series but this one is by far, my favorite!!! The two main characters are Zach Wentworth and Saoirse Kennedy. I was shocked to see them go undercover together. Just thought it was odd how they met and then weeks later they are going in together to take down the human trafficking business that has killed many men, women and children along with some precious undercover agents. They must work together and get in character so no one suspects a thing. These two make such a cute couple reading about them and I swear I love them. This book definitely will keep you flipping the pages until late at night because there is so much going on and so much suspense that you need to know what happens next. You definitely want to go grab a copy of this today. Great read!

Regan Keller is a woman who has been hurt and survived it all and when she gets a new job as a personal secretary, she is determined not to make the same mistakes again. Zachary Benson is a man who heads up a successful empire and is known for his attention to details and ability to get things done, but he hasn’t got anyone but his parents to share his success with.
It is Regan’s first day in her new job and things are not going to plan, her car didn’t start and if she got a ride then she would be late, so she decides to take the bus, but of course it is raining and she forgot her umbrella. When she gets on the bus, she realises that it is going to be one crowded journey and if the old woman taking up two seats between her and her large bag, it is going to be standing room only all the way, that is until the bus jerks and she ends up sat in a strange mans lap, she is terrified, but just about keeps her cool when he engages her in conversation and wraps his arms around her to keep her right where she is. She does enjoy the conversation and despite her misgivings, she agrees to meet the man for lunch, even though she has no idea who he is, but she doesn’t have any time to think on it when she heads into the office where she is due to take over from the current secretary to the CEO who is heavily pregnant.
As she finds her way round the office and learns her new duties, she realises that it is already lunch time and heads to the hot dog stand and surprisingly has a fantastic time until her mystery companion takes a call and leaves her, again without her asking his name, however, that is all about to change when she goes into his office to bob something on her bosses desk only to find that it is actually the man from the bus. She is startled and immediately panics and starts to leave, but just as she is convinced by him to return to the office, his current assistant goes into labour and they have to rush her to the hospital. When a mystery man comes in and envelops Regan in a hug, Zachary has no idea how to react, apart from a twinge of jealousy, the same thing happens when he drives her home to see another man waiting for her at the house, he has no idea why he feels so strongly about her, even though he has only known her part of a day. As time goes on and Regan settles into her role at the firm, she cannot deny that there is an attraction to Zachary and as much as she tries to ignore it and remain professional, she can feel her walls starting to crumble, but she denies his advances as best she can and tries to remain professional, she is a natural at the job though and as she builds rapports with his team and helps him to run the contracts he has been building, he is off to L.A. to try and win a new contract for a company and man he has worked with before, albeit the secrecy he employs until the deal is completed is not something that he enjoys doing, but all he can think about is getting back to Regan and helping her overcome her worries and fears.
Will Regan be able to open her heart to the man who is trying so hard to win her over, or will the past come back to haunt her and make any decisions she makes into a life or death situation again? This is a whirlwind romance with an undercurrent of malice which pulls you along until its conclusion.

Bernadette Marie’s romance novel The Executive Decision is the first book in the Keller Family Series. Regan is a highly insecure woman that has been attempting to recover from an abusive relationship. Even though the physical wounds had healed over the past year, the psychological effects still linger causing her to keep men at a distance. When she started her new job at a real estate agency, her boss immediately felt an attraction to her. Zach Benson is determined to break through her defensive wall. Regan’s attempts to keep a professional work relationship falters as she realizes she has mutual feelings for Zach. Will she let the charming executive in or will she push him away and stay isolated by allowing her past to dictate her future?
Bernadette Marie made The Executive’s Decision a very intense romance story. The inner conflict that Regan battles are realistic and the determination of Zach is admirable. Zach wasn’t overly pushy and seemed in tune with how Regan felt, a rare quality. I also like that there was a family-connected support story that many romance novels tend to lack. The dialogue and personal interactions are engaging and, while there are some explicit scenes of passion, the story is classy. I confidently rate this a 5-star romance story that I recommend to anyone looking for a relatable character-centered story.

Loyalty & Lies (Spicetopia Book 6) by Phoebe Alexander. This is the 6th installment of the Spicetopia series. Its is just as good as the previous 5 and just as spicy. Its the story of Calvin and Paisley who are happily married and expecting their first child. When Paisley finds out Calvin is up for spicing up their marriage with threesomes and more she books them for Spicetopia immediately. Spicetopia is an adult only sexy theme park resort. When they arrive at the resort all things are a go until Paisley see a side of Calvin she’s never seen. What has he been hiding from her and if he’s lying about this what else is he lying about. Is Paisley just reeling from pregnancy hormones or is does she really have something to be concerned about. Read Loyalty and Lies to find out!

This is a very emotionally heavy book. It has alot of dark aspect in it which can be triggers for some people.
It deals with some real issue that happen in life and I feel really connected to this book due to my past. Jordan doesn’t have the most normal relationship however this is what works for them. For this book you need to get out those tissue as the tears will flow. Highly recommended to read.
R.L. Dunn‘s ‘The Chase Security Series’, about the Chase brothers and their team of former Navy SEALS and other military officers just keeps getting better and better. I was really looking forward to this fourth book in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It can be read as a standalone story but the characters do crossover and I would recommend reading the books in order. This story focuses on the Head of the Domestic Law Enforcement Unit at Chase Security, Zach “Ice” Wentworth and US Attorney Saoirse Kennedy who arrives in Zach’s office on a mission wanting to stop a prolific human trafficking ring. Zach is a Dominant known as Master Ice and he craves a new submissive but not someone he works with. He is still haunted by guilt from losing a female operative who was also his submissive when he meets Saoirse, a decisive and independent women at work but who also happens to be a natural submissive. Master Ice must train Saoirse in Dominance and submission if she is to stay alive going undercover to infiltrate the trafficking ring, as the previous female police officers have all ended up dead. As Zach and Saoirse’s undercover roles and real lives start to blur Zach must decide if he’s willing to risk his heart once again on love.
This action packed, fast paced novel had me gripped from beginning to the very last page. The storyline does involve both adult themes and some dark issues such as human trafficking and sexual assault so it is for readers over 18+. I loved the two main characters and the obvious chemistry between them really came across in the story. I liked ‘catching up’ with characters from previous books as well. The descriptive narrative really bought both the setting and the characters to life which made me feel immersed in the story. An enjoyable and engaging read which I definitely recommend and I’m looking forward to book five in this exciting series.

If I had friends like Alexander’s, I think that I would murder them all, because nothing could convince me to go on a survivalist trek, not even for research for a novel. I tell you I’d be googling it with my hands wrapped around a glass of wine, wrapped up in a duvet, binge-watching something terrible on Netflix. Alexander Jones isn’t as smart as me and instead lets his friends pressure him into a daft adventure that they swear will give him the know-how in writing his next novel. Alex, bless him thinks it’s going to be easy, because he possesses ‘deductive reasoning’, but easy it is not. I mean, I could have told him that. I guess he does have them to thank for meeting the girl of his dreams. Because in 10 days he falls in love with the childhood friend of his mate Luke. I really like Penny Foster (the childhood friend), I thought she was refreshing and cool, and it was interesting to get to know her through Alex’s narrative, who was insanely sarcastic and just the right amount of miserable about most things. Honestly, this was hilarious, and I adored it. Holliday just knows how to grip you, and as simple as the storyline is, it never gets boring or old. I would recommend this to anyone. Get reading, you will have a laugh, trust me.

The World Beyond the Walls is the third book in Jean Gill’s Natural Forces series. The series juxtaposes the sterile and highly regulated Citadel with the wild and free Forest beyond – an enticing and thought-provoking fantasy setting. It was great to catch up with familiar characters and meet some new ones as well – I particularly like Jeanette whose curiosity and determination get her into trouble and who knows the value of stories. I really like how this series focuses on bees in the fantasy narrative. It’s very current, with concerns about bee populations dwindling, and also lends itself to an interesting perspective on society and loyalties. This is the third book in the series, and I would definitely recommend starting at the beginning to enjoy the story in order. Gill does recap some important events of the earlier books so it makes sense on its own but the books are all so good you’ll want to read them all! For me, this is a five-star read. I would recommend it to confident teen and young adult readers who enjoy fantasy and nature, particularly those involved in activism.

I was excited to read this as in the description it stated that fans of Artemis Fowl would enjoy it. When I was younger, I loved Artemis Fowl, in fact, I still have the books so having the chance to find something that was just as gold as that made me super duper happy. I’ve got to say that Huffmire has really written something brilliant here that I think both young people and adults will enjoy. It is fun, it is magical, and it has some wonderful characters. Liam is one of these wonderful characters and he has a simple code that he lives by; keep a very low profile – head down and don’t draw attention to yourself – stay away from the colours, the bright and blinding colours, and absolutely don’t make contact with Kenna Berlin. This code happens to be in answer to some very weird and wonderful things that happen to Liam, like for example, seeing colourful shadows that no one else can. Of course, this story wouldn’t be a story if Liam’s code didn’t get a little blurred around the edges, and it does, it really does. One day changes it all, Kenna becomes impossible to ignore, keeping his head down becomes difficult with the most popular guy at school out to get him, and a shell that he happened to find is making the colours way brighter. I got to say that I loved reading this and Huffmire really did capture all the elements I thought were brilliant in Artemis Fowl. Huffmire is a talented writer and I look forward to reading more of her work, she really brings magic into her work.

Mielitta Queen Of The Warrior Bees and Mage-Smith Kermon are back living in the Forest and the Citadel respectively, Kermon is trying to teach the children magecraft while also keeping his dual role as a spy between the two parties, as he is carrying out his plans for the transition test where the children go into the world beyond the walls, the children he is testing are also trying to push the boundaries set by their genders, but they don’t fully know why those boundaries are there, in fact, only two people know that at all and Mage-Smith Kermon is one of them.
When Mage Smith Kermon is disturbed in his forge with news that one of his students has gone into the world beyond the walls and not returned, he is frustrated and annoyed, but he is also worried because of the evil which lies within them, he sends the young student away and has to attend a Council meeting to request permission to do this, however as they took the time to listen to all the opposing viewpoints and make a decision which appeals to all, he finds out afterwards that the other student has gone ahead alone, so now he has to go after both of the students with another mage at his side to be his anchor.
Mage-Smith Kermon gathers the children who have spoken to the two missing students to find out any information about what they had gone into the wall to decide, based on the little he is able to gather, he has a starting point for when he takes his turn to enter the mysterious world, he takes the time to gather provisions and goes to the water gate to connect with Mielitta to inform her of the situation and what he is about to do, including that the student was possibly following the story of Mielitta, however, he speaks to someone unknown instead and they say that they will pass on the message to her, when the connection is cut off, Mage-Smith Kermon is surprised to find where he had thrown some boots containing seeds into the mud at the base of the gate, now there are plants forcing their way through to the Forest, with this new knowledge, he sets off to find his students. Meanwhile, Mielitta and her two friends are being woken up after a long winter hibernation, but the news they receive on awakening is not what they had hoped and it means they need to return to aid another of their friends and the bees who rely on them, in this Mielitta shifts from bee to human and back to help the bees and the humans to communicate while the others help her, while the one with the nature of a bear replenishes his reserves in the way he needs to, but while he is resting in the cave, he has a vision which leads to a way to get back into the Citadel to help Mage-Smith Kermon.
When they follow the vision, two of them can enter the walls, however, Mielitta is not able to, so she decides to find another way in which she can help, but is distracted by her heart and the hurt the walls just caused her, she is prompted by her bees to think of and return to the homestead, however, her steps lead her to the water gate instead and she goes in to help the others in bee form, but she has no idea of the danger leaving the Citadel and heading in the opposite direction to her.
Will the four friends be able to solve the mystery of Mielitta’s history, find and protect the missing students from the evil within the walls and come out of the other end unscathed, or will the duplicity within the Citadel lead to their demise? This is a thrilling final installment to the series and you will not be able to put the book down until it is finished and you know how it ends.

This is the sixth book in the series, you can read it as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the others first. I was not disappointed I was hoping this would have as much sizzling hot romance as the rest of her books. Absolutely love this couple Calvin and Paisley they compliment each other rather well. You can never have too much tangling hotness in one book and at spicetopia that is the perfect place to be.

“Red’s Tangled Tale” (Book #2 of “The Untold Stories” series) by Suzanna Lynn is a new look at the old tale of “Red Riding Hood,” and flips the fairy tale on its ear. “Red” is NOT a victim of the Big Bad Wolf in this tale; she is a strong, fierce heroine who helps feed her local village by entering the spooky Blakx Forest and hunting, including killing any of the ginormous wolves that inhabit the Forest, one of whom killed her father. “Red’s” friend, Captain Jameson Shaw – aka “Captain Hook” – arrives in her village, apparently on a mission to find any aid possible in rescuing his friend, the Little Mermaid, from an evil witch, apparently a sister of King Neptune? He needs some ever-burning ash from the Blakx Forest – the very quest in which Red’s father died. Red leads Hook and some of his pirate companions into the Forest, but what does she find there? Do they succeed in their quest? What else does Red find in the Forest besides the “ash?” Is the white wolf more than it seems? I’d love to tell you, because I LOVED the addition of other fairy tale folks into the mix, but that would spoil a surprising twist in the tale, and I don’t want to include any spoilers. Again, I loved the re-framing of the old fairy tale. I loved that Red was a strong heroine and that a pirate needed HER help, instead of HIS rescuing HER. There were a couple of things I didn’t “love:” This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but I feel I would have understood more of the story if I had read Book #1 first, as it addresses how the Little Mermaid was captured. I also didn’t love the overuse of the verb “hissed.” Red and Captain Hook “hissed” a lot of their dialogue to one another, and in a couple of spots it was just glaringly misused. So since I liked the book a LOT, I’ll give it 4.4 stars, which unfortunately rounds down to 4.

I really enjoyed this romance. It was an emotional rollercoaster of read that had you laughing and crying. The characters were so well written that you can’t help but want them to succeed.
Zach is a successful business man who’s life revolves around work. When his assistant leaves to have a baby he is hired a new assistant. Little did he realise that one decision would change his life.
Regan is the new assistant. She has a heartbreaking past which means she has walls around her and she is determined after the pain and heartbreak of her last relationship she will never fall for her boss again. How wrong she was.
This is a beautiful story about 2 people who find love when they least expect it. Regan’s past dictates her present but with the help and support of Zach she can learn to live and love again. When her past raises his ugly head in an unexpected way could their relationship get over all the secrets? Or will it be too much for Zach to overcome?

Love Between the Lines is an easy breezy romance written in a relatable voice. Brazeau sketches her characters with ease, and in such a way that I feel like I knew them almost immediately. I particularly liked the protagonists bestie, quirky and brazen Iris, as well as her sister Lucy, she of polished fashion and sky-high heels. Together, they are the family we all want – infinitely supportive and generous to our heroine Marlowe. They nudge her to move out of her comfort zone and actively seek out the love (and sex!) that she needs. While I loved these two, and how they played off of each other, I found Marlowe to be utterly clueless. Even when a man is pursuing her, and telling her to her face that he has a crush on her, she still lays about wondering if he wants to go out with her. I know that people sometimes have trouble recognizing the “signs” of attraction, or let their own self-doubt get in the way, but her hero was very frank and honest with her about how he felt, and she still needed the infinite nudging of her friends to believe him. The plot was easy to read, but also a bit formulaic for my tastes. Overall, romance fans will likely enjoy this work. Brazeau has a great style of writing which makes it easy to dive into Love Between the Lines.

So, Luke and his friend Penny set aside 10 days for Alexander to succumb to the country. But it also only took that many days for Alexander to fall for Penny. Does she feel the same way?

But he is captured by the beast and now must make a choice.

He is in search of a rare burning ash but must go through the forest to get it. Together, they make the journey into the forest. This is a great series that intertwines all the well-known fairy tales, but with a twist!

Paisley and Calvin are relaxing at there get away for their Anniversary but is it all rosy in their relationship or is something going on that neither will admit too.
Paisley and Calvin are celebrating their third wedding anniversary and before the baby arrives they are happy to dabble within the lifestyle, as Calvin is getting more comfortable wanting to experience more but when something does not feel right to Paisley she has doubts of is it the hormones or is something going on with her husband.
I am so glad that there is a crossover from Eastern Shore swingers as I loved this series and to be fair anything by Phoebe Alexander. I loved to see the insight into their relationship three years on and with Calvin so open to the lifestyle it is a real twist for Paisley who has always been so open to be the one who was insecure.
As always the story is well written and brilliantly written, as always I feel like I am within the story walking through the emotions of the characters as well as thinking I can be the friend with a shoulder to cry one ( I know its a book) but I have a great imagination. With the twists in the story it will have you delving into the book and devouring the pages to see the conclusion of the story.
You can read this book as a Stand alone but why would you not discover these two brilliant series, I would recommend reading the Eastern Shores first and then dive into the world of Spicetopia. I can’t wait to read the next instalment, thank you Ms Alexander for another brilliant read.

Having read and enjoyed the previous two books in McKinley’s ‘Deadly Isles Special Ops’ series I was looking forward to this third novel and was definitely not disappointed. In fact this series just keeps getting better. Each book can be read as a standalone story, however I recommend reading the whole series as each book is a great read. I was gripped from page one of ‘Forged by Secrets’ and loved the two main characters, Malina and Tyler. Malina Johansson is an analyst for the Navy SEALs and she works alongside Tyler Hale, a Navy SEAL who she had a crush on in high school. The couple get together after a drunken night in Vegas but afterwards Malina makes it clear it was a one time thing as she does not think Tyler wants a relationship. Meanwhile, Tyler can not get his one night with Malina out of his head and does not know why she’s avoiding him. When he returns from a mission to discover Malina had been accused of a crime and is now missing all he wants to do is find her and keep her safe. Malina knows she’s in trouble as she’s been accused of treason and the only person she trusts to help her is Ty, however first she has something to tell him about their night in Vegas. This is a fairly short read but it’s action packed and fast paced with plenty of plot twists that kept me guessing until the end. The chemistry between Ty and Malina really came across in the story and the descriptive narrative bought both the characters and the setting to life. I found this novel to be an exciting and engaging read. I’m looking forward to future books in this series.

This was like the best of both worlds for me in one jam packed wonderful read! Phoebe Alexander is one of my favorites in the romance and erotica genres, especially her Eastern Shore series. This one took my favorite couple, Calvin and Paisley, and dropped them into the wonderful and sinnfully exciting world of Spicetopia. I was in heaven to say the least. This book was so much fun to disappear into for a while while I was in the hospital and it took me far away into a world I would so rather be in. I love when an author can create these realistic places that you feel you are transported to with their world building skills. This is most definitely one of Alexander’s strong points. I found myself laughing out loud a lot as well and that is all something we need more of in life. I cannot wait to see what else pops us from Ms. Alexander in the hopefully near future!

Secure Her is the 4th book in the fantastic Chase Security Series by R.L. Dunn. This is a series that has had me hooked from the very beginning of the first book and I was excited to get another instalment. Was I disappointed? Not a chance. I absolutely loved this book. I was hooked from start to finish. I also loved getting a chance to see the guys from the previous books and seeing what these guys are up to now. Secure Her is the story of Zach ‘Ice’ Wentworth, Head of Domestic Law Enforcement for Chase Security. Given the job of trying to infiltrate a human trafficking ring, Zach has to train US Attorney Saoirse to be his submissive in order to bring down the ring. I loved this book, the dynamic between Zach and Saoirse is amazing and I loved reading their story. The whole storyline flows really well and keeps you enthralled as the story unfolds. I’ve said before about this series of books but it amazes me that the author can keep up with all the different characters. There is a huge list of characters that make up this book, and the others in the series and I know I found it hard to keep track of who is who. It certainly doesn’t affect my enjoyment though as these books are so well written that you can’t help but be on the edge of your seat, scared to turn the page to see what happens next. I’d definitely recommend Secure Her and the rest of this series. All worth more than 5 stars each in my humble opinion.

This is an YA adventure story. I would put this from about 5th or 6th level reading and older. I cannot wait to see where Mina Chara is going to follow up this masterfully crafted story. The plot is full of action and adventure. The characters are fully developed and enjoyable to read. In this action story there are pirates and creatures and their action and adventure stories. Every page I turned the page just made me turn the pages faster and faster. The ship Easy Money is on an adventure to find The Ocean’s Light. This light is to have incalculable power. It is easy to see why Captain Hammer wants the light for himself. Evie and the crew of Easy Money are trying to get to The Ocean’s Light first. Will Easy Money get to treasure first or will Captain Hammer and his crew get it first? I highly recommend this book. Batten Down The Hatches and enjoy the adventure.

I’ve never really liked short stories because I never felt like there was enough in them. “10 Days” in a wonderful book to read if you want a quick read because you are not ready to dedicate your time to a series. This book is practically a movie that you read. Luke is adorable and everybody will love him. Penny is a strong heroin who makes us women proud. As a journalist, she has to be. She’s also sensitive and empathetic and goes through hard times. Alex is a smart and very emotional writer who has to learn everything the hard way. This book has friendship, love, and an informative camping trip. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have the best friends in the world, read this book. You will understand after.
