Wild Hare’s Daughter (Wild Hares) by Laura Koerber – Review by Michelle Austin

Wild Hare's DaughterWild Hare’s Daughter by Laura Koerber
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This isn’t a genre I read often but once I started I was pulled right in. This was a great suspenseful 5 star read. This is a fast paced read about Amy who decides to search for her father to get some answers and hopefully have a relationship with him. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next and to see if she would succeed. There are so many things going on, the author does a great job with her writing. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I also enjoyed the story because I live in Wisconsin not far from where this story was set. Just made it a little extra special. You can read this book as a stand alone but you may want to read book one first so you get the back story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Imperfectly Yours (Titans of Manhattan #2)Imperfectly Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was an emotional 5 star read. Once I started I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting. It was over way too fast for me. We get another Titans’s story, Anton and Elsa’s.

Anton is a heartthrob actor and Elsa is a real estate agent in NYC. They meet when Elsa shows Anton some homes. He eventually asks her out and it’s a whirlwind courtship and marriage. Everything seems so perfect for them but of course life adds some twists that really tested their love and personal strength.

Can these two make it through the storms and get their HEA?

My emotions were all over the place reading this story, I had some ugly crying going on. I loved both characters so much, their love was true and I had so much faith in them. The secondary characters were great as well, love seeing the other Titans. This can be read as a stand alone but suggest reading book 1 first so you can meet the first couple. I can’t wait to read the next Titan story. 1-click and get started today.

Blindsided by T. Christensen – Review by Michelle Austin

Blindsided: A Contemporary Sports RomanceBlindsided: A Contemporary Sports Romance by T. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was an emotional friends to enemies, bully romance. I was crying pretty much from the start, I couldn’t believe what Krista went through. Brock and Krista were friends since they were 4 years old. When a new girl (victoria) moves to their neighborhood they become friends with her too. Due to a heartbreaking, humiliating scene there is a devastating twist that turns Brock completely against Krista and for three years she is bullied, and picked on so badly that she has severe anxiety and keeps to herself in school. It’s finally her senior year and all she has to do is try to get through the next few months.

When a new boy (Rylan) starts school he tries to befriend Krista but not without some resistance from her. She’s pretty sure that Brock will squash their friendship before too long. But Rylan refuses to listen to Brock and continues to be her friend. This friendship stirs something in Brock that he doesn’t like and he starts to see red whenever Rylan is with Krista. As the story moves forward questions start to arise about the past. Will the truth finally come out? Can Krista forgive Brock for the past?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. I loved and hated some of the characters. My most favorite was Rylan, he was so good to Krista and never doubted her. He was a true friend, exactly how Brock should have been from the start. Brock was one that I’m still a little angry with, I wasn’t happy with the choices he made and he has a lot of making up to do to Rylan. I can’t help but want a little more from these characters. I feel like Victoria isn’t quite gone yet and I would love to see Rylan find his true love. This was an interesting and thrilling 4 star read. This was my first book from this author and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It did take me just a little bit to get pulled into the story. But once I got further in I couldn’t put it down.

This was a great 5 star read. I really enjoyed this couple’s story.
Harper helps find antiques for her family antique shop, she really would love to travel in search of treasures. She ends up having a weekend fling that will change her plans.

Lincoln is an up and coming actor who’s new role will really put him in the spotlight. While at his beach house for a break, he is surprised to see Harper, the woman he had a weekend fling with. What’s most surprising is that she is pregnant.

Can they have a HEA? Or will fate have other plans for them?

Overall I really enjoyed this story. Who doesn’t dream about meeting a hot actor and getting a HEA? The chemistry these two had was great. You get steamy scenes, LOL moments and so much more. The author’s writing is great and pulls you right into the story. All of the characters added a great element to the story. This book is part of a series but you can read it as a stand alone. 1-click and get reading today.

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, book 2) by Amy McKinley – Review by Michelle Austin

Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, #2)Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blood Oath was a thrilling 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
I love the connection that these two had and you could feel it coming off the pages.

Sofia is getting ready for her first fashion show when danger rears its ugly head. It also brings someone back to her she hasn’t had a connection with in years. When they were younger they had made a blood oath and he vowed to always protect her until a nasty twist of fate changed things for them.

Will Enzo be able to protect her? Will they be able to keep their hearts out of it?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. You get some steamy scenes, danger, suspense and so much more. The secondary characters added a great element to the story, I loved how protective her brothers were. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour) by Victoria Zak – Review by Michelle Austin

Rock Me To The Top (Gracefall: Vicious Love Tour Book One)Rock Me To The Top by Victoria Zak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. I love rocker reads and this one pulled me right in from the beginning and I didn’t want to stop reading it.

Joe’s band Gracefall is starting to get big and when his best friend Melody joins their tour as their manager things get very interesting. Melody has a rule against dating Rock stars. The more time they spend together the greater their attraction gets. They do also have some things from their past that just won’t stay in the past. And there is a huge twist when tragedy strikes.

How will they both react to this? Can they move forward and have a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. The characters added a great element to the story. The author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from this series. We get some steamy scenes and you can’t help but think about your own favorite band and wonder what they would be like on the road. Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 6) by Via Mari – Review by Michelle Austin

Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards # 6)Tenacious by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. These two and their story is my favorite so far in the series.

Allie and Nick’s chemistry was coming off the pages. My heart would flutter right along with Allies. She was an innocent woman with a wall around her heart. Nick was the strong alpha male that was determined to keep her safe and break those walls down. The more that Nick protected her she started to see a different side to him.

Will he be able to keep her safe? Will they get a HEA?

We get suspense, action, mystery and so much more in this read. It feels like you’re getting two stories in one as we also see more about the trafficking in this story. All of the characters added a great element to the story, it was nice seeing some from previous books. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. She has quickly become one of my favorites to read. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning.
