The Cruiser (The Hustlers Trilogy, #1)The Cruiser by Rowan Rossler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. This was a great start to this trilogy. One could only dream to have the job that Vandana had.

To escape some personal issues Vandana jumps at the chance to work with Morgan. Morgan is a successful business man that has a certain view about how he lives life. When he met Vandana there were instant sparks. Can they build on the sparks or will it burn down?

Overall I really loved the characters, their chemistry comes off the pages. And the steamy scenes, oh my (fanning myself). The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and I look forward to reading the next book in the trilogy. 1-click and get started today.

Wow….I was pulled right in from the start and didn’t want to put it down. I was an emotional wreck and ugly cried several times. My heart went out to Kally and Clark, these two have been close since they were kids. At Kally’s 18th birthday party, Clark learns some devastating news that will change their lives in a huge way. We jump ahead three years and there is another devastating and heartbreaking event (cue the ugly crying). Enough is enough and Clark finally makes his move to protect Kally.
Kally has been through hell the last three years, the abuse that she has endured has broken her. Will she be able to come back from it?

After a conversation with her husband Michael, Yolanda has decided to return to her hometown with her daughter for a break. I had moments where I wanted to shake them. We also find that they both have secrets, what will happen when they come out? Can they make their marriage work?

This was a great 5 star read. We get Diego’s POV in this book.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

He is dealing with a soon to be ex that is being very complicated. He had been with her quite a few years and thought she would be the one he spent his life with. Trying to move forward his brother keeps trying to get him out of his shell but he’s not that kind of person. He takes on a class when a co-worker goes on maternity, this is where he meets Cassie. There is something about her that pulls him in.

Diego agrees to tutor Cassie and man did I feel for the poor girl when she came to the first session. How embarrassing for her, Diego handled it so well and I loved how supportive he was of her. As they spend more time together sparks start to fly. Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I had some LOL moments as well. Rhyann is on a scholarship and her dream is to become a dancer. Her roommate talks her into moving with her to an expensive apartment that her father is paying for. In order to get some extra money she talks Rhyann into applying for a job with her.

Regan is a southie, she has just graduated high school and her home life isn’t the greatest. Her boss at the diner is the only person that has really been there for her the last few years. While working at the diner some suits come in for lunch, this is where she meets Jeremy for the first time. As a server, I know the feeling that she had when they left her the lousy tip and loved it when he overheard her comment.

There is something about Regan that pulls Jeremy in. He finally convinces her to go on a date with him and with a twist of fate they end up starting their date a little earlier than expected.
Things move forward fairly quickly for these two. Regan isn’t ready to open up to Jeremy about her family, what will happen when he learns the truth? How will Jeremy’s family feel about Regan and where she comes from?

Will they both let down their guard and try for something more?

I really loved these characters, Leslie was very independent and was like one of the guys. This is a great start to the new series. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Sinful Vow (Dark Mafia Sins, book 1) by Emily Bowie – Review by Michelle Austin

Sinful Vow (Dark Mafia Sins, #0.5)Sinful Vow by Emily Bowie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved it and couldn’t put it down. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites to read.
I was drawn in right from the beginning. Love this series.

We get dual POV, I really loved these two. We get a little back story and start when they are younger and go through the years. At one point Aly meets Luca, her silence earns his protection even though he is the enemy. Then when Aly is 21 things take a pretty big twist and she finds herself in a position she never thought she would be in. Luca has a plan and that includes Aly, will he be successful?

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn’t get through the book fast enough to see what was coming next. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great mafia series, I highly suggest this one. 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.
