Handle With Care (Chase Care Book 1)Handle With Care by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hunter and Selma know eachother previously but now they are working together. Everyone has secrets and Selma has yet another big one she’s keeping from Hunter when she runs to
Volunteer to help
Save others. When an outbreak starts claiming tons of lives, Hunter and the team must try to save as many as they can. I thought the book was well written but, I’m not one who loves going back and forth between past and present. I found it hard to stay interested through the whole book but that’s on me…not the author. Have loved other books by this author and look forward to other books.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jasmine is such a strong character who has been through so much. She goes in to business with her best friend Cadence. I really didn’t like the character from the first mention of her. Because she comes from money, Cadence thinks she can pretty much do whatever. When Jasmine meets James she gets hooked right away before she finds out she can’t be with Him because of her best friend.
However James and Jasmine both have feelings for eachother. Will James be able to walk away from Cadence and his plans to be with Jasmine? I rated this 4 stars. I thought the book was long and couldn’t really keep me interested throughout.

Sharing His Nanny (Forever Our Girl Book 2) by Tori Chase – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Sharing His Nanny (Forever Our Girl, #2)Sharing His Nanny by Tori Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sharing his nanny was a good read. I admit I’m not one who reads m/m books. I love books with heat and thought I’d give this book a shot. Charles, Alex and Jordan have been best friends for years. They always spend 1 month a year at the beach house where anything goes. This year, Charles finds out he has a 4 month old daughter and Stella is hired to be her nanny. While Stella cares for Gia, she is spending time with Jordan and Alex. Both really
Seem to care for Stella. She has been dealt
A horrible Hand and has been having a string of bad luck. Between her ex James, stuff with her dad and her step-monster but between Charles, Jordan and Alex they vow to make everything better. Will the 4 of them defy the odds. Will they be able to overcome everything getting in the way? I have to admit being a nanny myself, I couldn’t resist this steamy deliciously scandalous read!

Married Blind (King of Screen Book 2) by Morgana Bevan – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience Hollywood Romance (Kings of Screen, 2)Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience Hollywood Romance by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this book was very well written. Finn was a tad bit annoying to me in the beginning. He was pretty much forced on a reality TV show called Married blind. You don’t see the person until you meet at the alter. Finn is so against doing this but it must be done.
Abi is doing it for the money. She’s not looking for a sugar daddy but the show will
Pay her money which she needs to pay her sisters medical bills.
Finn is an actor so he can really
Play the part for the cameras but he’s anything but what he portrays himself as while filming. Is it possible he tries to push Abi away because he’s starting to care about her?
Will this couple
What happens when Abi finds out her sister isn’t doing great and she’s on the other side of the country? Will she stay married or leave to go back where she thinks she is needed? By the end of the book I loved the character of Finn and Abi was great from the very beginning. Great characters, looking forward to more by this author.

Underboss’s Retaliation (Sicilian Gods Book 2) by Via Mari – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Underboss's Retaliation (Sicilian Gods Book 2)Underboss’s Retaliation by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Underboss’s Retaliation picks up where the last book left off. I guess you do t have to read book 1 before this one but it’s recommended by me so you gey the full story.
There are plenty of the same characters in this book as the previous book but this is more about Dominic. He is second in charge now and definitely plays the roll well. When he captures Emelia, he isn’t 100% sure what her fate will be but, quickly realizes, he wants to keep her as his own.
He even goes as far as to put a wig on her so no one knows who she really is when he moves her from place to place. Her family is the enemy. Emelia is not a delicate little flower. She can totally handle herself and proves to Dominic that she won’t make it easy for him or his family to use her as a pawn. When it is known that Alena is taken by The DeRosa’s that means war. Salvatore will do what he needs to do in order to get his little sister back unharmed.

Emelia finds out her entire life has been a lie. She had no idea what was going on, who was behind all the moves in the DeRosa clan but she’s about to find out and her world will be shattered. Will Dominic be able to
Pick up the pieces or will he be forbidden to go anywhere near the enemy?
This book was nothing short of amazing. I wanna be Emelia when I grow up haha! I love the Larussio’s but, Emelia made this book awesome!
Great characters, great story!
I don’t understand one thing. When Alena is taken, Sal makes it like she is highly trained and knows how to protect herself yet, she seems to be anything but that! Otherwise everything else in the book was pure gold! 5+ Stars

Love Tools (Bluestone Series, #1)Love Tools by Isobel Reed
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this book was well written and captivating from the beginning. Lily aaa left. Hardware store when her estranged father passed away. She picked up the few items she had and left her family In London to travel to Montana and see if she could
Find out anything about her father. The first person she sees is Jake. A gorgeous, muscles cowboy who seems a bit arrogant. She’s immediately attracted to him but, dislikes him at the same time. Luckily for Lily it’s a small town and everyone is friendly and willing to help her out. Lily has daddy issues. Jake has mommy issues and well they can be a match made in heaven or a recipe for disaster. Lily’s new best friend just happens to be Jake’s sister and she warns Jake to stay away from Lily. Jake finds it hard to stay away from her and can’t stop thinking of her. Can he be the man she needs or will she just be a passing fling for him? Sweet read that can and will capture your heart. Do good guys still exist out there or is Jake just acting like one?

Reckless Heart (Second Chance Romance #2)Reckless Heart by Jane Suen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Brad and Mary were friends of the same group growing up until Mary embarrassed him and broke his heart. 10 years later he still holds that grudge. Reading the book, I was like ok it’s 10 years later…get over it!!! To say Brad annoyed me throughout the book is an understatement but oh well. When Brad shows up back in his hometown for a wedding, one friend arranges him and Mary to be at the same diner at the same time and then she runs out leaving them to have breakfast together.
They end up spending some time together even running into Mary’s ex who she ended up breaking Brads heart over. Will Brad be able to get over it and forgive Mary or will they just spend some time together as friends before Brad goes back to his life of making tiny houses? I guess I thought the book was well written. I have loved other books by this author.

Beast (Popov Bratva Book 5) by Leslie Georgeson – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Beast (Popov Bratva #5)Beast by Leslie Georgeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is about Beast aka Adrik Volkov. He is nothing like his father who had double crossed the Russian Bratva.
Adrik was hoping for a place in the Bratva but in order to earn a spot he must fight Timofey.
Adrik was at the lowest of the low when he left home. He couldn’t stay any longer. He needed to get away, get settled and then go back and get his little brother.
He watched Annika from a far. Kept his face hidden from most. No one really knew what happened to his face. I loved his character. He had had such a rough life along with his little brother Damien but Adrik refuses to bow down to his dad and follow in his footsteps. He wants something better.
He becomes a trusted member in the Bratva after being with them for about a decade. He watched Annika grow from a weird young girl who was like an outcast, to a beautiful, young, talented woman. He knew he couldn’t get close to her because she’s a Bratva Princess and then she would see his face and run from his ugliness.
When Annika’s life is in danger, the two men she chooses to protect her at a safe house is Adrik and Timofey.
This book had some crazy suspense I didn’t see coming that’s for sure. I loved the friendships formed throughout the book. Annika was such a strong character even with her recent disability. She doesn’t back down from a challenge even when the odds are stacked against her.
Just loved this from beginning to end. The men in her family, every last one of them are amazing men. Definitely looking forward to another book from the author. Maybe Efrem will be next? Cannot wait. This was Definitely another 5 star read from this author.

The Daredevil (WaterFyre Rising, #2)The Daredevil by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Absolutely loving this series so far. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us with the rest of the characters. This book is about Royce and Michelle. It may be one of my favorites because finally, there’s a character with my name!!! Royce and Michelle are friends from the same group so they have seen eachother and hung out as a group before but never had any time alone until, Michelle is on her way to the place she will be staying while out of the country and the car see ice breaks down. Royce is there to the rescue and takes her to her home away from home for a few weeks. They both have had an insane attraction to eachother but Michelle is the average girl and Royce is millionaire who couldn’t possibly be interested in her.
Royce and Michelle spend plenty of time together. Getting to know one another one on one. Both have baggage and could be a recipe for disaster but they help eachother navigate things in their lives. They become close. Royce has come to Michelle’s rescue more than once during the book and he’s just the total package. Someone is after Michelle for a 20 year vendetta they have against her and they go to far. Royce will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of it. Royce also has someone out there who is looking to destroy him too. This book is like an emotional rollercoaster with so many unexpected things happening and it was great from beginning to end. Cannot wait to see what other books this author will release!

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers Series Hockey Romances Book 1) by G.K. Brady – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers, #1)Taming Beckett by G.K. Brady
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this book was very well written. I loved it from beginning to end. Beckett Miller was the epitome of bad boy. He had the gorgeous body, rippling muscles, NHL Star, was a player with a capitol P, was into drugs…you
Name it! His life came to a screeching halt one night when a girl he partied with ended up in a bad place. His life was gone as he knew it. He went from partying every night, expensive liquor to unemployed, drinking the cheap stuff and no money for anything.
He ran into Paige…who he went to college with years ago. They became friends and Beckett was there for her as a best friend when she went thru something horrible. Andie aka Paige also was there for Beckett while he battled everything going on and tried to get his career back. They were like best friends. The chemistry was there for both of them but, there were other things more important for both of them to focus on.
I loved most of the characters in the book, loved how everything went down. Definitely a 5 star read for me. Looking forward to more in the series.

Kiss Away Your Pain (Wounded Hearts, #2)Kiss Away Your Pain by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really liked this book. Wondering if maybe there might’ve been a book before this focusing on Nicco and Destiny.
This book starts at Nicco and Destiny’s wedding. The bartender Enzo sees the maid of honor and immediately is attracted to her. Candi’s heart is taken by Dom. Dom passed away years ago but he took her heart with him. Enzo and Candi run into eachother on a photoshoot and become friendly. They are perfect for eachother. I love them as a couple. Both are attracted to eachother but they both have baggage. Lots of baggage in their own way. Their lives are about to come to a crossroad but will they be able to overcome everything ? There’s definitely a part of the book when I said “Oh My Goodness….no way!”
Such a good read. Glad I got the chance to read this one.

A Christmas to Remember by 5 Prince Publishing – Review by Michelle Mulvey

A Christmas to Remember: An Anthology from 5 Prince PublishingA Christmas to Remember: An Anthology from 5 Prince Publishing by Bernadette Marie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Christmas to remember is a wonderfully written collection of happy sweet reads to help get you in the Christmas spirit. Usually out of every anthology I read, I can find one or two books that I really enjoy
But this one was very different. I liked all the books in this collection.
Of Course I had a few favorites as I’m sure everyone does.

Mrs Clause was a great read. Abby is left a hefty inheritance but in order to get it she must be engaged or married by her 35th Christmas which is less then 2 months away. She contemplates an agreement with her ex but then decides against it for a shot at true love even if it means she may not get the inheritance if she doesn’t get engaged in the next two months.

Christmas Pizzo was a GREAT read and I loved it. Hated to see it end. I definitely am a fan of
Mafia families. Sal and Valentina are adorable. There’s alot of hostility between the 2 families but can Sal and Valentina make everyone see just how much they care for eachother…have cared for eachother since they were so young? Valentina knows the family quite well since she was best friends with Sal’s sister for many years. Loved this book.

Falling for Christmas was probably one of the sweetest happiest reads from me. Gabriel is new to town and everyone dislikes him immediately. He takes over Evergreen Savings and Loan and sends letters out advising of the changes he will be making. One morning he has Natalie and Belle waiting for him and they are not happy. Nat and Gabe are attracted to eachother right away but Nat fights that attraction as much as she can. Gave insists they work together to get him familiar with everyone and their business along with the traditions in their small town. There are some ups and downs. A definite must read.

Merry Mix-ups….what a great title. There definitely was a mix up. Max and Cassi are set up on a blind date and it’s horrible. From the silverware to the top at the sandwich shop. Total mix up. Will it work out in the end? You must read this great book to find out. Alot of great characters aside from Becca. Disliked her from the first chapter.

Copper Penny Christmas was well written. Miranda is a great girl with a head on her shoulders. Her boyfriend is a piece of work.
Wil was a friend she met at the animal
Hospital and he ended up helping her out at the end with Penny. Good read for sure.

A Rocky Mountain romance was well written. Amity is staying with her sister trying to help out and be there for her while she is pregnant. Amity meets Hank and they right away have chemistry. Will there be a future for them or is this just a stepping stone for Amity. Before she leaves again for a new endeavor ?

Mistletoe Memories –
Levi and Gretchen meet while Gretchen is in culinary school. They immediately hit it off and become great friends. Levi Braddock is a well know, most sought after cake designer around.
Mistletoe plays a huge part in this book and you definitely want to read this. It’s a sweet read with plenty of bumps in the road. Will Levi and Gretchen be able to overcome all the obstacles? Read this amazing read to find out.

Hot for Teacher - Shakespeare Made Us Fall in LoveHot for Teacher – Shakespeare Made Us Fall in Love by Felicia Carparelli
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was well written. Juliet is divorced grandmother who loves her family and teaches at night. She has a new student names Jim who is a widowed father of grown twin boys and is about 10 years younger then his attractive teacher. There’s an instant attraction on both parts but, Juliet has a wall up around her heart which is hard to break through. Jim is persistent if nothing else and breaks down her walls.
I believe Juliet needs a strong man in her life to stand up for her and keep her safe. She’s good at keeping herself safe until she is nearly kidnapped by someone she trusts. Thankfully Jim wasn’t far behind and was able to rescue her. I enjoyed reading this book but, I felt it might be missing something and that’s why I gave it 4 stars

Defiant Princess (Mafia Elite Prequel)Defiant Princess by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I almost wish I read this before I started the series because it gives a lot of information and to why things are the way they are and how they got there.

This is a great novella that gives plenty of insight to 4 of the most amazing women I have ever read about. They are the Mafia Princesses. They are all In college together sharing a place, they have guards, everyone knows they are off limits / untouchable. Marissa has a mind of her own and doesn’t listen to the other girls or other guys who want to keep her self.
I absolutely love all these characters but Sofia and Enzo are my favorites!!!
Such an amazing series, you definitely must Run…don’t walk…RUN and get your hands on this entire series. You will not be disappointed.

I loved reading this book. There was so much chemistry between Devlin and Evelyn. They were coworkers who actually worked very close and shared clients. They were a team. They gave eachother a hard time…it was like a game to both of them until Evelyn and her boyfriend broke up.
Devlin saw this as his chance to finally
go after what he wants. He’s in the process of taking over the company when their boss finally retires until the boss finds out just how close Devlin and Evelyn have gotten.
There was a moment when I was like what???? Never saw that coming. I thought this book was beautifully written, loved the characters, great read from beginning to end.

The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jude’s sister, Renee was abducted and was held in a sex tracking ring for 3 years. She was pretty much the first person people saw when they walked in, much like a greeter. She definitely did have to participate in actions but not as much as others I do not think. Jude’s best friend Declan and Renee were close before she was abducted and both had feeling for one another but were afraid to act on them. Now that Renee has been rescued, Declan stays on sight in the place Renee is placed to help her cope. She has therapy there, and slowly starts to have lunch with Declan. Declan is the only person Renee feels absolutely comfortable with. She does have setbacks and the person she calls first is always Declan. They both care a great deal
About eachother but Renee has alot of triggers and issues when it comes to people near her or
Touching her. Everything seems to be going at a great pace as Declan and Renee get back to how close they were before she was abducted until Dominic’s wedding. At a moment during the wedding, Renee, Declan and Jude’s fears come barreling into reality when Renee goes missing again. Was she taken, is she in the bathroom, or did she just leave without telling anyone? I thought this series was so good and I loved the plot that all the books worked around. I hope to read more by this author soon. Each book was great to read but I recommend reading them in order to get the full effect.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gemma Hughes is out to ruin the brotherhood and expose their secrets. The secrets she’s looking to expose aren’t the truth however they do have some secrets they do not want exposed.
Dominic Cacciari is there to try to shift Gemma away from their secrets and find out some info of his own. When they realize what Gemma is holding and how dangerous it can be, Dom decides instead of trying to seduce her, he will protect her as much as possible. Of course lines are blurred and they cannot fight their attraction to eachother. Gemma is a strong character and I never thought she could fall for Dom seducing her but, the chemistry is just to much to ignore. When the full truth is out, how will Dom and his brotherhood react to the news? Gemma finds herself In a situation that she may not be able to handle. She’s out trying to uncover what she thinks will ruin the guys but she has it all wrong and she’s holding important information that can end up getting her in deeper then she ever imagined.
I absolutely loved this series. Each book is better then the last. The characters are all amazing. The plot is great and there’s plenty of heat to keep the reader waiting to see what happens next.

Sienna runs the parklite shelter they have for at risk kids. She’s amazing at her job and the guys couldn’t think of a better person to help the kids find their footing in the world again. Sienna and Jude both have feelings towards one another but neither is willing to act on those feelings. Jude refuses to be happy until Renee is found safe and unharmed. When they get Intel on where Renee possibly is, they work up a plan of extraction. Jude of course will be part of that mission. His sister being taken has caused him so much grief and he refuses to be left out of this. However when it is suggested that Sienna be brought In undercover to get eyes inside, Jude loses his mind and doesn’t want Sienna anywhere near that place. Sienna is military trained and she can handle anything thrown her way….can’t she? Sienna agrees right away. What will happen when Sienna gets inside? Will she find Renee? Will Renee even trust her or think she’s planted there? The last time she thought she was being rescued it couldn’t be further from the truth. I really love this series and all these characters. Of course these 4 books focus on 4 best friends / partners so they are all mentioned in each of the books. This is not the first book I’ve read by this author. This book was way to fast paced for me. Not really sure how so much happened so quickly. Kendall is a reporter looking for her big break. She stumbles across Chad who is the newest thing in the Boxing circuit. Kendall gets an inside scoop

Because her dad is coaching Chad.
The chemistry between the two Chad and a Kendall is crazy but Chad gets very angry thinking about Kendall writing an article about him. He wants to remain a secret. He doesn’t want anyone to realize who he is. Super fast paced, felt like I missed something. Aside from that, I thought the book was good.

I used to dislike these types of Mafia books but one author got me hooked. Now I’m always looking for more.
This book was about Adrianna and Sal. Sal was next to lead the family and Adrianna was the good doctor at the resort there to take care of the guests and of course the family. The family never goes to the hospital when they are shot or stabbed. Adrianna hates everything about Sal. From his dark penetrating eyes to his bossy demeanor. So why can she not get him off her mind and he goes out of his way to look for her. When a wedding is ambushed, the family is lucky Adrianna is there to be able to go underground to care for the injured. The question remains….how was the wedding ambushed at their resort with all that security….there’s a rat! Sal makes it his number one priority to find the rat all while trying to get Adrianna into his bed. Adrianna has secrets of her own on why she showed up to work for this family. She seems like a sweet innocent doctor but, when something or someone threatens what is hers, she will do what she needs to in order to neutralize the threat!

This book is part of a series where each member of a band has their own book. This book can be read as a stand-alone as that’s how I read it but the characters have history that I’m assuming were explained in a previous book. That didn’t make me love it any less. Ella and Jared had previously met and spent a week together until Jared just pushed her away to do his own rockstar thing. Ella ends up on tour with Jared’s band, her sister and her niece and has to see Jared parade his flavor of the night around all the time. That is until Jared and Ella are somewhere together for a long period of time.
Ella cannot stand to be in the same room as Jared and his mood swings. What will happen now when they are stranded with no one but eachother. I absolutely loved this book and wish I read the others.

The Lonely Hearts of San Sity by Stacy-Deanne – Review by Michelle Mulvey

The Lonely Hearts of San SityThe Lonely Hearts of San Sity by Stacy-Deanne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a new author I haven’t read before. I wasn’t really sure how I was going to feel about this book because usually the cover grabs me. This one didn’t but it was a romance book So I gave it a shot.
I’m glad I read this book because it was a very good read. The pages flowed, I loved the chemistry and the fighting between two of the main characters.
San Sity is a small town where everyone knows everyone. Mitchel Scott is a farmer who was raised by his dad and his aunt. His wife cheated on him multiple times and he always took her back. He didn’t like
Anyone talking bad about her until one day when something snaps and he decides he’s done with her.
Mitchel and Jules don’t get off on the right foot but quickly become closer and then Katie shows up again trying to get Mitchel to take her back again!
I thought this was a great read, loved the characters.

Fatal Memory (Agent Red:Teagan Stone Series Book 1) by Ava S. King – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Agent Red: Fatal Memory (Teagan Stone, #1)Agent Red: Fatal Memory by Ava S. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought the book was well written. I didn’t realize how many books would be in this series. It was a quick read and I thought it was pretty good
But not sure I’d be able to read 5 more installments of this. It was very fast paced. The main character is one tough cookie and is not to be messed with. The book confused me a bit and I just really wasn’t into it but that’s my fault. The author did a great job.

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1) by Toni Denise – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jake is a great book written beautifully. I loved everything about this book and didn’t want to put it down. Looking forward to the rest of the series which I hope to read soon.
Jake and Lauren are both lovely characters and couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. They know eachother through friends but never even thought about dating until they are both set up on a blind date. Blind date is actually what it sounds like. They meet in total darkness, eat in darkness and don’t see eachother at all through their meal. Right away they seem to hit it off but something is holding Lauren back from. They continue talking to eachother online using the dating app until one day they find out who the other is. It couldn’t be more perfect. Loved this book! 5 + stars
