Sacrifice Bunt (Ground Rule Book 2) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Sacrifice Bunt (Ground Rule Book 2)Sacrifice Bunt by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This series is nothing but amazing. I loved the first book and wasn’t sure I’d enjoy this one as much. Boy was I wrong. Zara and Noah made an appearance in the first book and they finally have their shot to tell their story. Zara is probably one of the strongest female characters I’ve been able to stand reading. I loved her from the beginning. She is the type of girl who isn’t looking for love. She wants to get what she needs and move on. She met Noah many years ago in college and thought he didn’t remember who she was. Boy was she wrong. There was a reason why he left her standing there after the fire the way he did. He wanted nothing more than to get to know her but, everyone has some baggage / stressful things they can’t bare. When Noah and Zara finally have to be in the same room without any buffers the sparks will fly. Zara tries to push Noah away at every turn but, Noah is a lot stronger and a lot more patient then she thinks. This was such a great 5+ star read. Cannot wait to read the next book.

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts Series Book 3) by Debbie Cromack – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts, #3)Someone to Watch Over Me by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Someone to watch over me was just amazing and beautifully written from the very beginning to the very end. I
Absolutely loved reading Lucia and Angelo’s story. They grew up together as best friends. He was a toddler when she was born. His mother and Lucia’s mom were best friends. Both Angelo and Lucia have been Inlove with eachother for the last 20 years but neither of them knew how the other one felt. Angelo refused to tell Lucia because he didn’t want to be her first love, but he wanted to be her last love. Just when they think, they can have the happily ever after, of course something happens ripping them apart again.
This book was really such a great read. It had a lot of emotional parts, some heat, lovable characters and a great storyline. Definitely highly recommend this book!

Twisted Proposal: Central Florida StoriesTwisted Proposal: Central Florida Stories by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Twisted Proposal was just what the title says. If I’m being honest, I’m the beginning I couldn’t get into the book. It took me days to read the first few chapters. I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t like the main character Ethan and that was it. I gave it a chance and kept reading. There was a change and
I found the book to be a good read. There were reasons why Ethan was the way he was towards Siena. I’m still stuck on why Joyce was sending those emails to Siena. That confused me a bit but all in all, it was a great story once I got into it and I enjoyed reading it.

Walk Off (Ground Rule Book 1) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Walk OffWalk Off by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The book was full of everything I love in a book…plenty of heart, feelings and second chance. Jasmine is an adorable smart little girl who loves her mom and never knew her dad. Celia is a beautiful girl who broke Kyle’s heart about 8 years ago when she broke up with him and told him she didn’t love him. Not only was Kyle heartbroken but so was she. Kyle was able to move on and have other relationships but he always thought back to Celia and never stopped loving her. Imagine their surprise when they run into eachother at a friends wedding. Both characters have had heartbreak growing up from family members and still carry that baggage. What will happen when Celia finally tells Kyle the truth….why she broke up with him and didn’t give him the chance to choose what he wanted for his future. Will he be able to forgive Celia for what she did / didn’t do all those years ago? This book was definitely a 5 star read. I loved all the characters and cannot wait to read the next book and see what the author has in store for Zara. Grab your copy of this book and you won’t be able to
Put it down.

People SafariPeople Safari by Feather Chelle
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading people safari. This was a great book where Ranger Marco ( a raccoon ) takes a family Of deer on a field trip
Out of the woods to show them the town and explains about the people wandering around, the houses they live in, the cars that he describes as beasts that do not talk or breathe. The fawn is very curious about everything from how humans walk in their back feet to the clothes they wear and change every day until they get spooked and everyone is separated and the fawn gets lost.

Absolutely loves Ef and Miranda’s story. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it because it just seemed to
Weird the way it was set up
But I was totally
Wrong. Miranda is such a strong character and seems like a strong person but not sure how so much got
Past her owning her own business. There was a lot
Of
Action, suspense and heat. Definitely

Brutal Days: A High School Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Book 3)Brutal Days: A High School Bully Romance by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my goodness….Brutal Days….amazing! I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next book. How am I supposed to wait like a month or more to find out what happens. I’m sorry I strongly disliked Damon in previous books but this book….I think I love him. He seems like the egotistical jerk but when he finds someone who may or may not be his type and finds something that he wants, he won’t stop trying to get it. No one ever says no to the elite but Skylar isnt like most girls ( the elite fan club ) she’s trying to be a good friend and help her best friend complete her senior list of what she wants to accomplish. Even if that puts her close to the one guys she can’t stand. This whole series so far is soooo good.
Brutal Nights can’t come soon enough!

Stay For Me (The Balefire Series Book 5) by Tam DeRudder Jackson – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Stay For Me (The Balefire Series Book 5)Stay For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’m such a sucker for a second chance romance. This book is number 5 in the series and can be read as a stand alone. ( I wonder if I would’ve liked it better if so didnt know about the characters ) I had a strong dislike for Garrett from the beginning. Here he is living the life he always wanted when a blast from his past is right there in front of him. It’s 10 years later
And now they are expected to work
Closely. Can it be done? Garrett definitely regrets how everything ended. Olivia knows the gang well has known them since before they were a huge rockband.
Garrett spends a lot of time regretting his decisions he made almost 10 years ago. This book had plenty of heat and happy moments. I just dont like the character of Garrett
There are plenty of the same characters in this book as the previous ones.
This is another great book in the series.

Consigliere's Revenge: Dark Mafia Romance (Sicilian Gods Book 3)Consigliere’s Revenge: Dark Mafia Romance by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Consigliere’s Revenge Is an exceptional addition to the series. I swear every book is better than the one before it. This book is full of suspense, heat and action.
Izzy is a reporter and one night she’s at the casino when Lorenzo spots her. He knows exactly who she is. She may be there trying to get information for her next story but, Lorenzo knows what needs to be done and decides to show up at her house and have her write stories he approves. He keeps her on a short leash to
Keep her safe but, everything doesn’t go as planned. This was a great book with great characters. Many of which were in previous books and I’m sure will be mentioned in more books. 5 suspenseful stars!

Unexpected Entanglement (The Echo Series, #3)Unexpected Entanglement by C.R. Alam
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this book had everything needed to be a good read. There was the long lost sibling no one knew about, the will that showed the property should
Be spilt between the siblings
Including the new one they didn’t even know about. The unexpected attraction between Rowan and Chris. Lots of suspense!!!
I thought this book was perfectly written. Rowan is such a strong character but with Chris by her side to protect her and help her, she is unstoppable. At first Chris seemed to want to get in, see the facts and then get out but he vowed to stay and help and he did just that.

Savage Truth: A High School Bully Romance (Hidden Valley Elite Book 2)Savage Truth: A High School Bully Romance by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved every bit of Riley and Cole’s story. I found myself counting the days for this book to be released to Find out just what happens.
Cole is much more than the egotistical jerk his character played.
Both Riley and Cole have tons of baggage and secrets. I mean tons!!!! Cole and Riley really did have feelings for eachother but, Cole found it hard to truly give in to his feelings aside from wanting her because he couldn’t stop thinking about what happened to allow Riley and her mom be there.
Riley is probably one of the strongest characters I’ve read about at such a young age.
The conclusion of Riley and Cole’s story is finally here and so many questions are answered! Tons of suspense…..So so good! Cannot wait to read about the rest of the Elites. Definite 5+ stars!!!

The Sweet Temptations Trilogy (Sinful Delights) by L.M. Mountford – Review by Michelle Mulvey

The Sweet Temptations Trilogy (Sinful Delights)The Sweet Temptations Trilogy by L.M. Mountford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This trilogy had a lot of spice to it.
In the first book, Richard and Alice go out and leave their son with the babysitter Rebecca they always use who lives in the same apartment building. When they get home, Rebecca asks Richard to
come up to her apartment to try to
Fix something on her computer. She answers the door in a tiny black robe and as much as he tried to fight the attraction, it was nearly impossible when Rebecca is practically throwing herself at him.

The second book takes place at Richards job. Scarlet ( his bosses daughter ) has a mouth on her and she loves to harass Richard. One day Richard has enough of her and her belittling him. Scarlet is used to dominating everyone and but the tables have been turned for once.

Book 3 was just so so crazy. Somehow Alice ends up helping Rebecca out of a bad situation. Takes her Downstairs to her apartment and Alice lets Rebecca in on a little secret which then Rebecca lets Alice in on a little secret. When Richard gets home he is so confused about what is going on but loves every moment of what is happening.

Right in Front of You (Morris Valley Gang Book 1) by Brooke May – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Right in Front of You: Volume One: Brinley & Adrian (Morris Valley Gang Book 1)Right in Front of You: Volume One: Brinley & Adrian by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book and can totally relate to Brinley. She and her girls are best friends forever. She ends up moving away and they promise to keep in touch which they do as much as possible. Brinley is all over the place shooting documentaries ever since she was in the Olympics.

She has a stalker that seems to always know where she is and decides it’s time to go back to her hometown of Morris Valley and visit her girlfriends while someone else tries to go to a different location making her think her stalker is with her instead of back with her friends. While staying with friends she meets Adrian who is a tall, dark, muscular rancher who is quite good looking. Both have their eyes set in eachother but, Brin is only visiting. Adrian usually works very long hours on the farm and no one really understands it but Brin definitely gets it because her family has a farm back home. When Brinley’s stalker makes it known that he/she knows where she is, Adrian offers to bring her to the farm which is somewhat further from town and vows to keep her safe.

One night all the girls, Adrian and the guys go out to a bar and think they have a well thought out plan to keep Brinley safe. Adrian doesn’t like the plan at all to use her as bait but decides to go along with it. What could possibly go wrong with about 10 sets of eyes watching one girl in a bright shimmery dress? This book was great. I loved it from beginning to end. I loved the friendship between Brinley and her girls. Great characters, great storyline.

Just One Time (Beaumont Creek Book 1) by Samantha Baca – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Just One Time (Beaumont Creek, #1)Just One Time by Samantha Baca
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is about Abby and Nate. Best friends since they were in grade school together.
Abby just turned 40 and she is losing hope to ever find “the one” but her dream was always to be a mother. She could easily go to a doctor and have a procedure done to make it happen or her best friend Nate might even volunteer to help her out. When he offers to be the baby daddy, he is offering to do it the old fashion way. It would be just one time and they could go back to being best friends.
Both Abby and Nate are attracted to eachother more than the other knows.
Personally, I didn’t care for Abby’s character. Nate was probably the sweetest guy and from how he was described he was gorgeous too. Not to mention how he treated Abby. I feel like Abby was just breaking his heart over and over again in the book. Both of them needed to get over it and tell the other how they feel. Will Abby and Nate be able to save their friendship or will crossing the line ruin it forever?

I absolutely love Cole and Riley. They are both such strong characters but there both find themselves getting somewhat attached even if they don’t want to admit it to themselves because they hate eachother.
I totally understand how Cole is so against the thought of Raelyn.
I love the friendship Riley is finally able to form with someone and Cassie is perfect for her.

Taming Brooklyn (The Club Kings Series Book 1) by Charlotte St. Pierre – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Taming Brooklyn (The Club Kings Series Book 1)Taming Brooklyn by Charlotte St. Pierre
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Aiden, Gideon, Oliver, Jaxon – The Club Kings Are brothers but not by blood. They grew up together and decided they wanted to be brothers.
One night in one of their clubs Jaxon and Oliver spot Brooklyn dancing and immediately go to the dance floor she is on and dance with her. Things get pretty heated quickly and she flees.
Brooklyn has a past that she can never forget. An ex boyfriend really did a number on her and she still has scars…inside and out to remind her of it.
The club kings show up at Brooklyns job for a meeting about a donation and everyone was surprised to see eachother. Jaxon and Oliver were happier than anyone because now they know who that woman was and how to find her. Brooklyn has no idea who they were and now that she does, she agrees to a dinner with Oliver and Jaxon to talk about the charity event. Aiden “the brains” behind the kings doesn’t trust her and has second thoughts about their donation.
When Brooklyns past comes crashing into her present, the kings vow to keep her safe all while keeping her bed warm.
I thought this book was well written but it was kinda long and wasn’t expecting the book to end the way it did. If I knew it was a cliffhanger, I probably wouldn’t have read it.

Braving Lily (True Platinum, #5)Braving Lily by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Braving Lily was a great 5 star read for me. Lily Tyler doesn’t chase me but when Rhys Jones stands her up, she refuses to let that happen. His mother won a charity auction for a date with Lily and Rhys didn’t even bother to show up!

Rhys is divorced after his wife cheated on him with his friend and he has no time for games. He sees Lily as an attention seeking person and wants no part of it. He finally agrees to have coffee with her and everything takes a turn during their coffee date. They actually set up another date.
Lily is scheduled to leave on a long tour in a few weeks but maybe they can have some fun together without any labels until then. Everything goes good until, it doesn’t. Rhys carries some baggage and always feels like he’s not enough. What will happen when all their cards are laid out on the table and they are both honest with eachother about their feelings? I thought the book was well written. Loved the characters and especially loved how Lily was with Sienna and any other fan she meets.

Cry Baby (Pierce Brothers, #4)Cry Baby by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Noah Pierce is one of the Pierce brothers but he’s the quiet grumpy one. He pretty much stays to himself and works more then anything. He loves his life and wouldn’t change it for anything…by choice anyway.
When Noah’s long time best friend passes away I expectedly he is granted custody of her infant daughter Amelia. Noah doesn’t know the first thing about having a 7 month old baby loving with him and needs major help. His brothers come together to try to help
Him as best they can. One of his brother Seth along with his sister in law Victoria stop to pick up Amy on the way. She’s like a baby whisperer when it comes to Amelia. Noah offers her a job as Amelia’s nanny for a few months until she goes back to school and they can reach Amelia’s grandparents.
Noah and Amy spend alot of time together but Noah is very hot and cold. Amy is great for
Both Amelia and Noah. She pushes Noah to do things he might now do if it wasn’t for her. Amelia loves Amy and Amy loves her as if she was her own child. They all seem
To fit into their roles great until that one night Amy and Noah are on a date and Amelia gets sick.
A lot is said and a lot happens that night. Will Amy ever be able to get over what Noah says that night? I thought this book was well written and cannot wait for more of the Pierce brothers.
