Fatal Memory (Agent Red:Teagan Stone Series Book 1) by Ava S. King – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Agent Red: Fatal Memory (Teagan Stone, #1)Agent Red: Fatal Memory by Ava S. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thought the book was well written. I didn’t realize how many books would be in this series. It was a quick read and I thought it was pretty good
But not sure I’d be able to read 5 more installments of this. It was very fast paced. The main character is one tough cookie and is not to be messed with. The book confused me a bit and I just really wasn’t into it but that’s my fault. The author did a great job.

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jake is a great book written beautifully. I loved everything about this book and didn’t want to put it down. Looking forward to the rest of the series which I hope to read soon.
Jake and Lauren are both lovely characters and couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. They know eachother through friends but never even thought about dating until they are both set up on a blind date. Blind date is actually what it sounds like. They meet in total darkness, eat in darkness and don’t see eachother at all through their meal. Right away they seem to hit it off but something is holding Lauren back from. They continue talking to eachother online using the dating app until one day they find out who the other is. It couldn’t be more perfect. Loved this book! 5 + stars

This book is about Alice and Reuben. I thought the book was written well. But, for some reason, I just couldn’t get into it. I put the book down, took a break, tried to start again. I’m usually
Always Into a good bdsm book. This was
Was just so long and drawn out. I really felt
Like it was never going to end.
I know characters always back a backstory but wow, didn’t need to know all that.
About the characters….there were a lot of different characters in the book. Many of these characters all
Know eachother, play together, respect eachother. There weren’t many characters I didnt like.
I liked the idea of the book, the girl
Who has mental issues, the guy who released all his subs after an accident. There’s just a whole lot inbetween that I felt was just To
Much.

This series has been nothing but amazing from the first book and I absolutely squeal when I see a new book is out.
This book was about Nico and Mia from a rival family. When Nico finds Mia on his porch he doesn’t know if he should listen to what she has to say or kill her. Luckily he goes with the right choice. This book definitely keep my fully interested and wow some of those things were not expected. I’m a huge fan of this author and cannot wait for more!

Scandalously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #5)Scandalously Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book….wow!!! I know most of these books has some suspense but this book was nothing short of amazing. I have loved every book in this series but, I think this one just might be my favorite.
The Titans are like a whole other breed of men. They know what they want and they know how to get it.

Alessia Johnston just finished her residency and is in the Bahamas for a few days at a medical conference where she runs into Kristopher Simon. If you have read the previous books, you will know of Kris. He’s unhappily married and separated from his crazy wife who thinks she can win him back.
Kris and Alessia meet in the Bahamas and have one steamy passionate night before they leave to return home. Kris is the chief of the hospital Alessia is working at so things can be tricky.
Kris tries to be professional but the electric spark between them is just to much to avoid.
Kris wants to say forget it with the legal separation and just head for divorce but his soon to be ex tried everything to keep that from happening. The lengths that she goes to is unbelievable. This definitely is a great read that you do not want to miss out on. I was able to finish the book in two sittings. This book has it all, romance, suspense, and plenty of heat!

This Time Around by Jane Suen – Review by Michelle Mulvey

This Time AroundThis Time Around by Jane Suen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This time around was an ok read for. I thought the book was rushed and way to fast paced. Katie left Chase behind and went to start her life. She broke his heart in the process. Katie returns to her hometown for a wedding for a friend who happens to be the cousin of Chase who refuses to have singles at her wedding so pairs people up. Well guess who got paired up together?!?! It just seems odd how after 10 years, yes it may be uncomfortable but the characters act like it’s been maybe a year or 2.
Just thought the book moved way to fast before I had a chance to get into the book or root for the couple, it was done.

Saved by Love (Bellevue Bullies #7)Saved by Love by Toni Aleo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have never read any work by this author but that will change soon. I have to say, this book was a breath of fresh air. This book touches on lots of subjects. Crazy college kids, pro hockey players making tough decisions affecting their career, young love, family, mental health…you name it.
Evan is a pro hockey player with his twin brother. However, Evan doesn’t love it like everyone thinks he does. He has severe anxiety and after consideration he decides to retire and that’s when he spots Callie. He is now working close with the gymnastics team and Callie calls dibs on him before any of her teammates can. Callie knows who Evan is because he’s on the team with her brother in law. Evan is basically just a shell of himself until he meets Callie and begins to get close to her. Callie has been crushing on Evan and ever since their literal run in, Evan want seem to get her off his mind. It’s not as easy as two strangers meeting, Callie’s brother in law has warned all his teammates away from Callie for many years. Does that mean she’s off limits to
Evan or does it not matter since Evan is no longer part of the team?
I really enjoyed reading this hidden gem and was pleasantly surprised with this book. I look forward to more by this author.

Levi (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 1) by Edith Mackenzie Review by Michelle Mulvey

LeviLevi by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is about Levi and Bella.
Levi is a retired navy seal who is a triplet and he’s home at his families ranch with his 2 brothers. They are in charge of caring for their little sister. When an old friend contacts Levi looking for help protecting someone it seems like a great solution for both of them to have Bella come stay on the ranch which will keep her safe and while she is there, she will care for Allie.
Bella is lonely and misses her brother so much and wants to contact him but, Levi keeps telling her that’s not possible. Levi is a brute of a man and Bella seems to think he dislikes her but, it’s actually the opposite. They are both attracted to eachother but the number one priority is keeping her safe. Like any great navy seal book, it’s only a matter of time until one of them crosses a line.
Bella notices Levi has a bit of PTSD from his days as a seal and has a perfect remedy for him.
I thought this was a great read and look forward to more by this author

One In A Billion (Pierce Brothers, #3)One In A Billion by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been a big fan of this author and just had to read One in A Billion. She definitely did not disappoint with this 5 star read. The book had a great plot and such loveable characters.

Victoria aka Tori is on a timeline. She’s looking for her career in journalism to take off by her 30th birthday or she’s going to quit. She’s hoping to get an interview with Seth Pierce. Unfortunately, he’s a VERY private person and turns down anyone looking for an interview so she decided to just show up to his office one day. Candy, the receptionist thought Victoria was there for an interview for a job and of course that was a way to get her foot in the door so she said that she was indeed the person with the appointment.
While Victoria was talking to Seth, the real Kim Brown showed up for her interview.
Seth was still thinking Tori would be great for him in more ways then one so he searched all over for her at all the temp agencies he could think of but there was no Tori Verity.
Once Seth found out who she was, he showed up at her job unannounced as she did to him. He ended up offering her a job working for him but, in a different role.
Everyone who has seen or heard anything about Seth Pierce knows he’s dating Pip. It just so happens they are each others plus one and everyone just assumes they are a couple but they are not. They are just best friends willing to do just about anything for eachother which you will learn when you read the book.
This book was so hard to put down and I can’t wait for the next installment.

I thought this was a good book. Ember is fairly new to the fore department and Sol was not only her mentor but her crush too. Once Sol was injured and could no longer do his job, he was on a downward spiral. Ember hated seeing him like that and kept trying to get him to see reason. I believe she got him to understand when they were trapped on an elevator together. I thought it was a really sweet story. Unfortunately, not all stories like this have the same ending. Definitely recommend this book to other readers.

What can I say….after seeing Bridger’s character in book 1 I wasn’t to psyched to read his book but boy was I wrong. Bridger definitely is much more then The author made him out to be. He’s hot….yes but he’s not at all like I pictured him from the description in book 1.
I’m glad I read this book and if I’m being honest, I loved it. Tia is such a strong character and I just love her. However she has had it rough. She got mixed up with the wrong guy who she thought would be her Prince Charming. Turns out he was just another piece of garbage not worth her time.
Tia and Bridger meet and right away they are attracted to eachother but make a pact to only have fun for the weekend and that’s it. Yea ok!!! When does that ever happen.
I really cannot get over the lengths Bridger and the thunder goes to for Tia or how Tia just on a whim, went to check on Bridger. Definitely one of the better books I’ve read recently. 5 heartfelt, hot stars!!!!

Squid (Moto X Book 5) by Brooke May – Review by Michelle Mulvey

SquidSquid by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I definitely loved this book and everything about it. I loved how Levi was rejected multiple times by the same woman. That causes a spiral for him and he is forced to go work at his fathers firm again. Then he realizes his job there is to assist the one woman who doesn’t fall for his charms…..Miss Kindle James. I absolutely love her character in the book. She’s strong, smart, beautiful and doesn’t take any garbage.
Unfortunately for Levi, he can’t seem to get away from the one girl that called him Daddy and thinks she’s gods gift to men. She’s all about herself and when he finally has had enough of her he tries to get rid of her by not being so nice. Levi has never been friends with a female and working side by side with Kindle, they grow a sort of friendship which he sees a plus for him. Once she is comfortable, maybe he can turn on the charm and win her over. Let’s not forget about Kindle’s roomie…..Will she be the reason Kindle walks away from Levi for good or will there be a happy ending? Such a great read from beginning to end. Loved it!!

The True Garza (Red Cage, #3)The True Garza by S. Ann Cole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow is all I can say about this book. I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. There were parts of the book where I wanted to punch True in the throat but, he definitely redeemed himself until I wanted to do it again lol. The 2 main characters met one night at a bar while London was away from everyone drowning her sorrows. They spent 1 week together burning up the sheets and then they went their separate ways. Now London ( Lonny ) is back and ready to get to work a year later. Her family is strange. Her Uncle and Mom did some pretty shady stuff and Lonny will not forgive her mom. Her Uncle however is someone she must work with so she has to get along with him to a point. Once Lonny is back she thinks she sees True at a liquor store but he acts like he doesn’t know or remember her. It has been a year but she thought he would remember the hottest week they shared. She finds out later that the man she was wasn’t True. It was his twin brother!! She gets a job with the twins as her bosses but she doesn’t follow orders well. True keeps her close….closer then he should. He still has feelings for her but refuses to admit it and basically uses her and then pushes her away. After reading how good this book was I wish I had read the others but now that I know what happens and who ends up together it is pointless.
This really is a great book and I’ll be looking for new reads from this author in the future!

Allen Mitchel is a sneaky little snake. He’s up to no good and his step daughter knows everything. Hailey is about to meet her step father when a man in a ski mask pulls up right outside the hospital and grabs her. Until There Was You by G. Colgrove – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Until there was youUntil there was you by G. Colgrove
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is the first I’ve read by this author. I absolutely loved the characters and everything about them.

Regan is just a good girl in a horrible situation trying to get by. She’s working at a diner about to graduate. Her home life is horrible. Her mom is useless and only cares about one thing.

Jeremy is in town doing business with his company he hopes to own one day soon when him and his clients stop at the diner for lunch. He immediately spots Regan and she is aware of him too. I love how Regan has her best friend Phillip who will always be in her corner cheering her on and trying to help her even if she doesn’t want him to.

He keeps asking her for a date which she doesn’t really want to give in to because they are totally different people from totally different worlds but she finally agrees. They end up running into each other the night before their “date” at a club and the fireworks are lit! Regan may be from the south side but she knows how to handle people especially when they see her as anything less then themselves.

She handles herself amazing when she is talked down to because people think she is much less then them.

Jeremy and Regan have perfect chemistry and are perfect together no matter what his family or
friends think. When Regan is given a choice her family or her happiness ( which may not be good for someone close to her ) which does she choose?

A love a book that has a great story but also has some steam and packs a good punch. This book has you going thru different emotions. One minute I’m sad for the character and the next I’m literally laughing out loud.
“Whatever, fine. There’s a hump. I’ll just stay close in the case the floor decides to attack you again.”
