My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anger (Hero High Book 2) by Mina Chara is a wonderful continuation of the Hero High series. The plot thickens and Friday has to figure out who her friends are. Nothing is as it appears and it’s all being televised. I enjoyed the young adult read and the hero universe. I can see this being a popular read for younger teens.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Mirela Ruiz

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery was a fun romantic read. I enjoyed getting multiple stories from K.L Montgomery. I loved Badge Bunny, the enemies to lovers is my favorite story plot. Brynne, like all of Montgomery’s leading ladies, is strong and sassy and a fun read. I loved her attitude and humor. The plot of Wedding Wars was fun and reminded me of a Juliet and Romeo story with its own humor and slow burn. I could not wait to get to the end and see how Jason and Hannah manage to work their way out of this mutual problem. Stage Mom had me super emotional. Larissa is a wonderful mom and I appreciate the depth of her character. I always know I am getting a wonderfully developed story when I pick up a K.L Montgomery book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Read Between The Lines (Freshwater Book 1) by Belinda Williams was a deep read. On the front of it there is sass and humor but on the back end there is a heaviness. I had a great time reading and look forward to the rest of the series. Kat is strong and self sufficient and Matt is smart and challenging. I enjoyed the depth of the characters, the plot, and the growth. A well worth it contemporary romance!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery is a great series! The first book in the series is Music Man and was a fun read. So realistic and deep in feelings. K.L. Montgomery is great with creating characters that pull you along and they feel more like friends than characters. I loved Claire, she was independent and strong but also vulnerable. Jack wore his flaws on his sleeves and they had to work to be together. It’s relatable to how relationships really are. The Flip and Plot Twist were also great reads! You can definitely see the effort that is put into all of the books. While they are standalone its nice to have them together for one super long reading session!

Denial (Hero High Book 1) by Mina Chara was a great quick read. The pacing is fast and the introductions done quickly. I pictured the story as a comic book while I was reading and enjoyed it tremendously. I think this is a great young adult read and opens a few doors to have discussions with your kids if they read it. My son is too young but I am trying early on to turn him into a reader so I can understand how his brain works. I loved the setting, the characters, and the plots presented. I look forward to more from this series!

Out Of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt was a super emotional read. Unlike anything I have leaped into before. My heart felt for Dane and Brady. Scoring Chance: A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin – Review by Mirela Ruiz

Scoring Chance : A Mile High Miners NovellaScoring Chance : A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Scoring Chance: A Mile High Miners Novella by Lane Martin was a sweet sporty romance that I really enjoyed reading. It’s not everyday you get a good blend of sports, romance, and forbidden passion. Rhett is trying to make it onto the team while dealing with temptation and a personal problem. Eden has a chance to make her dreams come true without exhausting herself and being on the brink of failing. While a little on the slower side I did enjoy the peak into the mental struggle and dialogue it takes to take a chance. This story to me felt like two people trying to make it out of tough circumstances into something better, while battling their inner demons to be together. Mind you that there are rules in place that would prefer them to be apart. I really enjoyed the story and hope to read more soon!

Mountains Wanted (Mountains Series #1) by Phoebe Alexander was definitely a steamy read. I have read a few other books by Phoebe Alexander and I love her take on female characters. There is a whole unashamed aspect to Dr. Sarah Lynde, it is very refreshing. She is a strong independent woman with two kids and she knows what she wants. In regards to the pacing and story I felt like I got a behind the scenes peek into Sarah’s life and while at times it did not move at the pace I wanted it really felt like an authentic conversation with a close friend.

Never Date a SirenNever Date a Siren by Byrd Nash
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Never Date a Siren (College Fae Book 1) by Byrd Nash was a wonderful fantastical read. I enjoyed the world that was built and the mesh between fae and human. I adored Brigit as the main female lead. She was such a “wow” character with a unique perspective. I loved Brigit as being out guide through understanding the fae world and their expectations, it was a great way to build the world and introduce the reader to the implications of what is happening. Logan was a good character read, I found it interesting that the victim was the male lead but again it was a welcome change. I cannot wait to see what the author creates next in this series.

A Sun So Bright (Reigning Hearts Book Three) by KG Fletcher was a nice romantic read. Every once in a while I find a romantic read that takes me out of reality. I did not care for Fiona at first, I found her unrelatable but as the story developed she was more real to me. I love a good fake fiance story and I was hooked into this one. The pacing was good, in my romance reads I do enjoy a more relaxed pace.
