Fabulous story lines and well developed characters. Ms Valkyrie pulls you into the story and makes you feel as if you are right there watching it all first hand. This series is definatly a must read in order series. The recurrences of characters from previous books keeps the bridging of all the books creates a much bigger picture and you get a feel for all the danger and tension. Book #5 is bound to be great just like the first four. In Sure as Hell we get to follow Jaru, Lark, and Soren. Like the other books in the Life is Hell series. I love this series, as well as her characters. But I think Jaru and Lark needed their own story and I am pleased this is it. Everybody loves a good prank Lark is the best. This is apparently the fourth book in a series of books by this author. I have not read and of the previous books or any books by this author until I picked up this one. I enjoyed this book, but I really do wish I had decided to read the previous books before diving into this one. I feel like now I need to go back and read all three of those and then re-read this one again. There were certain relationships in the book that I was unfamiliar with and feel like having read the previous books would have helped with that. I will say that this book made me laugh, cry, feel anger and sadness and felt very realistic. The writing was great, and the author did a great job with describing everything in depth. Towards the end of the story, I was on the edge of my seat to know the outcome with which I wasn’t disappointed. This is a great read and one that I would highly recommend you checking out. But make sure to read them in order of the series to get a better understanding of the characters and relationships.

I am always excited to get my hands on a new Life Is Hell novel from Naomi Valkyrie. It is a one-click, no questions asked, kind of thing and I never regret it. Sure As Hell did not deviate from this and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read. I started this one early in the evening hoping to get enough and to bed at a decent time… lol not sorry, but that did not happen. I had to see how my new favorite characters would end up! I wish Juniper Lake was kind of a real place. I can imagine how much fun it would be to visit and see that not all things with a hint of dark are bad at their cores. This is a series you do not want to miss if you love the dark arts, magic, fae, warlocks and more. I cannot wait to see what the next book will hold!

Sure As Hell by Naomi Valkyrie is the fourth book in the fantastic Life is Hell series. This time the story focuses on Jaru and Larkspur. The great part of this series is the recurring characters and getting to see them each tell their own stories, but how they work into the stories of other characters. I recommend reading each of these in order, but I think this is written to be read also as a standalone. I really enjoyed the story of Jaru. It had me laughing and enjoying the story but also relating to the idea that when things go too well things tend to go to crap. How relatable! I love how the characters are developed and entwine around each other despite their differences. I always love picking up this series and look anxiously to the next book by this author.

Naomi definitely has writing complex stories down to a science. This story was not a disappointment. Lark and Jaru have a interesting relationship and it’s best learned from previous books. Jaru feels he isn’t enough for Lark. The way Jaru talks about himself is just sad. The fact that he loves Lark but doesn’t feel worthy broke my heart. I was ready to slap him for suggesting Lark hook up with his bodyguard. Like bro nooo. The relationships are beautiful and complicated. But you can feel how they really feel for each other through the pages. Soren is one of my favorite characters and the relationship between Soren, Lark and Jaru is awesome. Definitely give this series a try but in order lol.

Sure As Hell (Life Is Hell Book 4) by Naomi Valkyrie. I love this series and I think each book gets better. I would recommend reading these in order so you get the all the great details. Its the story of Juniper Lake a not so normal destination, it just happens to be a hot spot for demons. We meet Jaru who is an imp and a former contact companion who feel like he not doing his job up to par. Jaru decides to open a new business much to his best friend Lark’s dismay. Lark is actually jealous of all the time Jaru spends on this new business since they are a new couple. Lark decides to mess up the business on purpose so that he can have all of Jaru’s attention. Will Jaru’s business make it and will Lark get all of Jaru’s attention or will Lark’s interference cause them to split permanently. Read Sure as Hell to find out all this and more!

Sure As Hell by Naomi Valkyrie is the fourth book in the Life Is Hell series. This is an absolutely brilliant series and this book is just another fantastic addition. I was instantly hooker when I started reading this book and felt like I connected with the characters straight away. By the end of this book I definitely think it had become my favourite one so far. I love the way this author creates her stories. I find them to be so compelling and really imaginative. Each book has been exciting. Whenever I get a new book by this author I have to read it straight away. I thought this book was amazing and so well written and I am already so excited for whatever comes next.

This might be my favorite story yet! I would definitely read these books in order, especially with this book there are many characters that you will want to know about and understand. I love Lark, he is my top favorite character from the series so far, his pranks and spirit are so beautiful. I am so happy that him and Jaru got together and could build on the friendship they already had. Watching their relationship develop as well as Lark getting a surprise he didn’t think he would ever have for himself was so sweet. The way Soren loves Lark too just makes me so happy. This author is so creative and amazing with the storylines and characters, I can’t get enough. The relationship between Oren, Teviel and Jaru and then the relationship between Jaru, Lark and Soren, seems a bit complex, but it all works and is so beautiful. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

I fell into this series on accident and I’ve really enjoyed the fall. Stumbling onto this series, each story just gets better and better – pulling me in deeper and deeper. So naturally, when I found this book, I had high hopes. I’m so in love with this series, the characters and how each story just yanks you in and ‘Sure as Hell’ is no different. I’m a sucker for romance novels – gender has never mattered to me. It has always been about the story telling and the character development. The only thing I got confused by reading this is I wasn’t sure who I was cheering for. It seemed each character had multiply partners and I wasn’t too sure who’s love story I was reading. But even though I’m not familiar with a multi partner love story – I still really enjoyed the journey this story took me on.

Sure As Hell (Life Is Hell Series Book 4) by Naomi Valkyrie is my favorite book of this series! Don’t get me wrong, they are all good but this one is the best. I love that Ms. Valkyrie showcases Jaru the main character who happens to be neurodivergent. Jaru’s struggles with indecision, how he approaches challenges, how he cares about other characters, how the characters interact with him, and the support these characters show Jaru is very special. It reminds you of how we all should live to treat others the way we want to be treated. That being different than the norm is okay because those that are will show those normal people a different perspective of life.

Sure as Hell by Naomi Valkyrie a sure-fire five-star read. This is number four in the Life is Hell series and they all build supremely, you get to know everyone and see them struggle and dip, but you get to see the gain strength in themselves again as well, it’s very well done, you connect so well with the characters, you feel their self-doubt like your own. This series has had such an individual grip, it feels fresh and gripping even four books in. Lark and Jaru have a story to tell, and you can not miss this story, or series they each have a different part of the whole and it’s something that shouldn’t be missed. Review by @saraoxo

Sure As Hell (Life Is Hell Book 4) by Naomi Valkyrie was another great read! I absolutely love this series, and this addition was no exception. This time, you get to follow on the adventures of Jaru and Larkspur, and the tale just gets more exciting. I love the storyline of this series, and this book. The steam and romance is great, but not too much. You get the action and excitement, along with tons of inclusion and fantasy. I also love the openness of this book, as the author talks about Jaru being neurodivergent and it just felt so personal and I think it was all the better for that. This series has fast become a favorite and I can’t wait to read more!

I loved this book. This is an author that has continued to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details that make her stories feel realistic. This book is no different. This is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading from the beginning to help your enhancement of this series. I loved being pulled into the story by the characters. This is a fast paced fantasy story that kept me not only engaged but turning pages to the end. This is Jaru’s story. All he wants is to prove himself so he opens up a business until his life sinks back down. He doesn’t have much time for his best friend and starts to question whether or not he is good enough for him. This is where the story takes a turn and if he will save his best friend and their relationship? I loved these characters and what they bring to the story. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I could hardly wait to get a hold of this book. I love this series so much and after reading book #3 I was praying it was these characters that came next.
This one touches a bit more on some different kinds of relationships that are kind of hard for me to understand, simply because I just don’t understand, but the best part about that is, it doesn’t require me to understand as long as I can feel the connections and the emotions and the feelings. I did that in spades! One of the best parts of this series is the connections being built between ALL of the characters, the family feel of this group that amazes me since they all really aren’t supposed to be friends much less like a family. Hard to explain but it’s the incredible job this author has done with everything that makes it all possible and also feel very real!
There was one person in this story that I’ll be honest I had to go back and figure out exactly who he was as he played a short part in a previous book and then roared into this book and quickly became one of my favorites.
This installment had everything from making me laugh, making me sad, making me angry and also feeling physical pain for one of our characters. Oh my gosh I could hardly stand these scenes because they were written so well I could imagine and feel it all.
I’m skirting around names and storyline because I really just believe these must be read in order and mentioning anything will give away a few things from the previous books. You really need to start at the beginning to get the full experience of these amazing characters.
I can not even wait for the next in this series and I pray that this author never changes her style because it is unique and completely addictive.

Honestly, if you guys haven’t read the first two books in this series already, you aren’t paying attention to my reviews. Or you live under a rock. This book didn’t disappoint and I’m in love with all the characters and the writing style of Naomi Valkyrie. This is Oren and Teivel’s story. I feel like I’m part of their group and can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen next. What kind of bad guy we get to fight and who we are protecting this go ‘round. Another hit by Naomi Valkyrie. I really enjoy this series. I love reading books that shows even demons can have a heart. The story of Oren and Teivel was a fun read. Their journey to finding love was special. I think the two of them fit together nicely and I enjoyed going on their journey to finding each other. This is an excellent series. I look forward to reading more from Naomi Valkyrie.

I give Hell In A Handbasket (Life Is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie, 5 stars.
If you have not read this series yet, you need to pick it up! The story continues in book 3 and this one is just as good as the rest. All of the characters are unique and interesting, but this time the focus is on two previously secondary characters, Oren and Teivel. The dynamic between these two characters is great. Oren really struggles to find who he really is while at the same time he’s both frustrated and attracted to Teivel. Teivel has essentially closed himself off feelings-wise. This has been hinted to in previous books, but now we find out why. The author does a wonderful job on his back story — I really understand him so much better now.
But this not just about the two of them — there is the tracking job Teivel is sent on, which turns out to be much more complex than he ever imagined. Then there is the baby dropped on their doorstep. In other words, there is so much going on in this book and the author weaves everything together seamlessly, making for such an intriguing take.
If you are a fan of paranormal romance/urban fantasy with strong characters and a little on the darker side, this book and series are for you.

This is the 3rd book in the Life is Hell Book 3 and I loved it just as much as the first 2. This has got to be one of my favourite authors. The characters are great and so well written that you can’t help but cheer their wins and cry at their defeats.
This story follows Oren and Teivel.
Oren is a demon hunter but with no training he doesn’t know how to used his skills. He is frustrated and confused and madly in love with Teivel.
Teivel is a demon, he has a checkered past and isn’t on for relationships and settling down however that changes as he realises his feelings for Oren are growing and changing.
Add to this story a baby left on the door with magic powers, someone trying to capture magical beings and our gang of friends trying to bring them down and protect everyone they love and it is a gripping story from start to end.

This is the third book in the life is hell series written by Ms. Valkyrie. I simply loved this fast pace short story and story line. The characters are well written and play off each other quirks is awesome.
The gang is back but this time Oren and Teviel are the main characters and they are attractive to each other but there is one problem Oren is a Demon hunter where as Teviel is a Demon can they over come this obstacle and have a happily ever after or will they stay away from each other to stay safe.

This story had me on the edge of my seat and there were some unexpected twists I didn’t not see coming. I have become completely invested in these characters and this story line. It is my suggestion that you read this series in order for a better understanding of all the characters we get to know. We have gotten introduced to some new characters in this book and I am so thrilled that we did. I loved reading the book Hell Hath No Fury (Life Is Hell Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie. It is a story that pulled me in from the start to the final page. It is a paranormal book that had me turning pages to find out what happened next. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive. The characters are well-developed, and I loved reading about them. The story had me turning pages, I just had to know how it ended. The author knows how to weave a tale that keeps your attention. I loved reading the book Hell In A Handbasket (Life is Hell Book 3) by Naomi Valkyrie. It is a story that pulled me in from the start and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a paranormal romance book that is I found a pleasure to read. The book had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the characters. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive. The author spins a tale that grabs your attention and I found that the book was over too soon. Don’t miss out on an exciting, entertaining, and joy to read. I highly recommend it. I have read other books by this author. I have never been disappointed with any of them.

This is the third book in the ‘Life is Hell’ series and I couldn’t be more ecstatic to be reading more of Naomi’s fabulous writing! Since falling into this series it has really been a wild ride. The series started with Delilah moving into a small town and falling into the hearts of Malakhi and Caspian then goes into depth about Sheridan and Millicent’s sweet tale and then enters Teivel and Oren. I really enjoyed the first book ‘No rest for the wicked’ and the second book ‘Hell hath No fury’ stole my heart but this book…well it grabbed me by the front of the shirt and wouldn’t let me go. I found Oren so easy to love, much like Millicent. He’s gentle, sweet, caring and I love reading his internal thoughts about being attracted to Teiven. Teiven is a demon and is easy to hate but still wanting more from him. Meshing these two fire crackers together… I never knew how badly I needed their chaos in my life. I found this series to be so entertaining and I can’t praise it enough. The characters are a work of art, the writing is divine and I want more!

I couldn’t be more grateful that I fell into this series. I took a chance on a demon story, thinking that was all that it is. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ll be honest when I say the first book ‘No rest for the wicked’ caught my eye but this book stole my heart. I fell in love with Millicent, the deputy and adorable human, from the first book. She’s easy to like and I knew there would be growth to her. Another character that comes back in and makes a grand appearance is Sheridan, Delilah’s eccentric friend. The story explores these opposites lusting after each other and having no idea what to do about it either. I love the LGBTQ+ representation from book one and book two. I’m also falling in love with Naomi Valkyrie’s story telling. For I adore how she writes high tension between characters and leaves you waiting for what will come next.

Even though I’m drawn to all things supernatural, I must admit, I have not read many demon stories. But there is always a first time for everyone and I couldn’t be more happy that I took the plunge and found this gem! It has everything and more that I could ask for. A great story line, easy to read, a page turner with a dash of romance between three amazing characters. Truly highly recommend this for all my supernatural lovers!

Hell In A Handbasket is the third book in the Life is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. I will say this although these can be read as standalones I however would highly recommend reading this series in order as each book the characters build and you get to learn more about them plus the stories flow so nicely. Its funny how just a couple of years ago I wouldn’t have even given any kind of Paranormal books a second thought. Im so glad I took a chance on one because its become one of my favorite genres. This author continues to simy amaze me with her attention to detail and her characters are amazing to. I’ve read all of the books this author has read to date and this one is by far my favorite. This is a story packed with action, mystery, twists, and some m/m romance. This is a story about Teviel a Demon and a Oren Demon Hunter. What do you think would happen if a Demon and a Demon Hunter were to have a relationship? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Hell in a Handbasket is the third book in the Life Is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. Although you don’t have to read the first two books in this series, I highly recommend you do. The characters are amazing and Naomi’s writing just keeps getting better and better. This book was my favorite of hers so far. Her attention to details is intricate. This book grabbed me and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. I highly recommend this book, series and author.
