“Short & Sexy Happily Ever After.”

Sex On Fire: A Quickie Read is the first instalment in the Naughty Neighbor series by Ashley Bostock. This is a sexy novella length story which can be easily read in one sitting. It is steamy with plenty of fun banter between the couple which gave a great perspective to the story.
What happens when the sparks fly and two sexy neighbors get together? You will have to read all the entertaining details for yourself.
I loved meeting these two characters- they were lots of fun. The story is really well woven, as I knew it would be coming from Ashley Bostock. This is a great start to what is shaping up to be a fun series. I am looking forward to seeing what Ms. Bostock has in store for us next.

Thank you, Ashley Bostock!

I enjoyed this short romance story. It is a naughty neighbor romance that pulled me in from the beginning. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is a well written story that packs a lot of heat in a short time. Turner is a neighbor that anyone would love to have next door. In this neighborhood all the women swoon over him but he says I am the one for him. But is this woman good enough? Will he convince her that she is the one for him? I enjoyed their chemistry and watching their relationship grow throughout the story. It was an entertaining story to read and I highly recommend it.

Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read is book one in the Naughty Neighbour series by Ashley Bostock. This story was short, stylish and intoxicating. A friends to lovers quick read that was attention grabbing and totally satisfying. The characters were entertaining, the chemistry sizzling, and the innocence of the leading lady was endearing and and equally frustrating. Their adventure had highs and lows and in betweens. A quick romance that was to the point and easy to read. 4 stars.

Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read (Naughty Neighbor Book 1)Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read by Ashley Bostock
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The story was a cute, very quick read. While there’s sex it’s not super explicit in its detail, which I liked in this case. I do wish the story was a little bit longer in order to flesh out some of the storyline, as I felt there was an abruptly ended chapter and there were some quick scene change.

I enjoyed the banter and push and pull between Poppy and Turner. I really liked that we get to read about a FMC who is nerdy, quirky, and a bit shy around strangers; you don’t get that often in an adult FMC.

Summary:
Sex on fire is about two neighbors, Poppy and Turner, who desire the other but are hesitant to act on it, until one of them isn’t.

After finally succumbing to the mutual desire between them Turner knows that “neighbors with benefits” simply won’t be enough. Can he win the awkward, nerdy girl who’s running around in his head, or will her social awkwardness burn them before they really begin?

Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read (Naughty Neighbor Book 1)Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read by Ashley Bostock
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sex on Fire is a short, but action-packed novella from Ashley Bostock. It may be only 38 pages in length but Ashley Bostock manages to fit in quite a lot of content in those 38 pages. I did really enjoy it and I’d love to read a full-length novel about this couple.
Turner is the hot neighbour that all the women drool over and fight for his attentions, whereas his next-door neighbour is the nerdy Poppy who interests Turner much more than the other glammed up females who constantly vie for his attention. The thing is that Poppy assumes that she’s the last person who Turner would be interested in. She assumes that she’s firmly in the friend zone.
I really enjoyed reading Turner and Poppy’s story. Poppy’s insecurities remind me so much of myself, always assuming the worst. With only 38 pages we don’t get a big, long courtship before we hit the hot and steamy times but hey, it’s sometimes good not to have to wait, lol.
If you want a quick, hot read then I’d definitely recommend Sex On Fire.

Sex on Fire: A Quickie Read (Naughty Neighbor Book 1) by Ashley Bostock is tantalising, steamy and sizzling that I read in one sitting. Ashley’s characters are fun, and I love their witty banter. I also love stories that are written in dual POV’s. The story is very short, and it was over before it really got started so it would have been nice if it were longer.

This was definitely a quick read. I enjoyed the banter between Tanner and Poppy and the dual POV. Being a short story this allowed me to connect to both the characters. A bit of steam and a HEA for two people from different walks of life. A well written romance escape book.

Ashley Bostock was born and raised in Colorado, but her husband moved mountains to get her to Nebraska where they currently reside with their two children and her animals. She stays busy daydreaming about the hot men she writes about in her novels.

She has traveled all over the world, but still has an extensive list of places she would love to visit. Anywhere near a sky-blue ocean will always be at the top of that list, although going back to South Africa’s Kruger National Park to view the wildlife is a close second.

She carries a bachelor’s degree in History with a concentration in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State College of Denver. While she loves children, she now fears teaching, which probably has something to do with being a stay-at-home mom.

Helping my parent run Camp Riley was my number one priority. I didn’t have time for Fitz Quinn—no matter how potent his smile was. He was the spoiled son of a wealthy politician; a gorgeous troublemaker with a cocky attitude.
But the second he spoke to me, I knew I was in over my head.
My heart warned her, but of course I didn’t listen. There was something protective and good beneath the bad boy exterior that made my insides flutter. Before I knew it, I was falling hard and fast.
Fitz
I wasn’t prepared to meet a girl like Cadence.
She was shy and innocent—and nothing like the girls who usually flocked my doorstep.
How could I resist her mile-long blond hair and emerald eyes?
I knew he shouldn’t want her. My father already had other plans for me and a relationship with her could never go beyond the summer.
I thought our stolen kisses by the lake were only supposed to be a summer fling.
Falling for her shouldn’t have happened.
But it did.
Now the clock is counting down until I have to return to the hell that awaits me in Washington D.C.
As September drew closer, I wasn’t sure if I could survive the end of everything I’ve come to love.

The Explorer (Mountains, #6)The Explorer by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I find books by this author so difficult to review now because I always write the same thing but that’s because every single one of her stories is just so wonderful to read. They are always different, they explore different things and I always feel like I have learnt and take something away with me from her stories once I have finished reading them.
I loved the blurb for this book it was so vague that it really felt like I was going into this story blind but as usual what I got from Ms Alexander was a wonderful main character in Abby and getting to read about her life as she navigates coming of age. I loved reading about Abby in previous stories so to now get her own book was really special, I feel like I really know her as a person.
This book could be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend the Mountains series from the beginning!

Abby is a college student struggling to find out who she really is outside of who her mother sees her as, outside of her life as a friend, and outside of everything she’s been told to be by society. This book is the perfect book for any young adult to read in order to discover who they are as a person. It teaches valuable lessons on how to discover the layers of you as an identity: But also who a young person can be as a sexual person in this society in the modern society. I love the way this author writes her stories and brings the audience on a joyful ride.

This is book 6 is the Mountain Series. It follows Abby’s story. We have meet Abby in the other Mountain books but this one can be read as a standalone. It does have references to the previous books but its not a lot that means you cant follow the story without reading the previous books.

Abby has finally left home and has started callege live. She is learning to live as an adult and deal with things in an adult way. She falls in love with a woman called Mia.

Even though she knows her mother will accept her gf and her choice to be with a woman, her father isnt going to be as happy or supportive.

This follows Abby’s journey from living two seperate lives, acting as one person with her dad and his family and being her true self around her mother, to finally learning and embracing who she is and managing to get that across to her father.

Its an emotional story with loads of ups and downs but a great insight into what a teenager may have to face for them to truelly be the person they want to be.

The Explorer (Mountains, #6)The Explorer by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Explorer is the 6th book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. Books 1-3 in the series should be read in order but the remaining books are standalones and can be read in any order. I have previously read a lot of Phoebe Alexander’s book and have enjoyed everyone that I have read but I was a bit worried about this one as I didn’t really relate to Abby’s character when I read books 1-3. I did, however really enjoy this book although it didn’t grip me quite as much as Sarah and James’ story.
In this book Abigail (or Abby) has gone off to college. It’s very much a coming of age story. Abby was confused about her sexuality. She was sure that she liked girls, and only girls but throughout this book we see Abby coming to terms with her sexuality and discover who she truly is. I really enjoyed reading Abby’s journey, her growing friendships and relationships.
This book has some great secondary characters, particularly Willow and Gavin, who are both fantastic characters that I really enjoyed reading. I also enjoyed reading the relationship between Abby and her newly found father and half-sisters. As much as I hated her father’s actions, it was very well written and engaging to the reader.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. It’s a great coming of age story.

The Explorer is the sixth book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. What a wonderful addition to the series this is. Even though it could be read as a standalone, I really recommend reading (at least) the first three books in the series before starting on this one as they are where we first meet our MC, as well as providing background information and other relevant details which enhance your appreciation of this book.
Abigail Lynde (Abby) is Sarah’s daughter (from books #1 – #4) and we now get to follow her and find out so much more bout her. She is just starting out on her Freshman year in college- and has a great understanding of what she wants to do with her life- but is at a loss as to ‘who’ she really is. She feels she has to be so many ‘different’ people to everyone in her life- presenting a different version of herself to them all. It’s exhausting and makes everything so much more complicated. We follow her on her journey of self-discovery- as she finds her true ‘identity’ and through all the highs and lows that come with it, as she navigates through trying to balance it all along with college life.
Fantastic!

Thank you, Ms. Alexander!

The Explorer was a great 5 star read and book six in the Mountains series.
This can be read as a stand alone.

I was excited to get Abigail’s story, she is Sara’s daughter from the previous books.
Abigail is starting college in a new city and so is Gavin.
When Gavin meets Abigail and is instantly attracted to her until she shares that she isn’t interested in men and is confused about what she wants, could she be pansexual? They become fast friends and help each other get through their first year of college.

Overall this was a great read, you get so many different things that add a great element to the story. I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t go into much more detail. I loved all of the secondary characters. Phoebe does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and you won’t want to stop until you are done. She also has some great messages in her story as well. 1-click and get started today on this great read.

I loved reading the story The Explorer (Mountains Series #6) by Phoebe Alexander. I have loved reading about Abby in the previous books of this series and am thrilled that she now has a story of her own. This is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. Even when I finished, I wished there were a few more chapters. Abby is in college and on her own. Although she feels like she has to be someone different with each family member and even her friends. Will Abby find her happiness? I also loved reading about Gavin. He is a fellow student of Abby’s. Will he find himself at college? Will he find the attention and friendship that he has always wanted? Read this book to find out. Both Gavin and Abby are wonderful characters. They are likable characters and you can’t help but want them to find happiness. This story is an emotional one and my emotions went up and down the entire time I was reading it. This is a coming of age story that has Abby and Gavin finding out about themselves and the others around them. There are steamy romantic scenes. I would highly recommend reading this book.

The Explorer by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read you would climb mountains for. This is number six in the Mountains series, this one can be read as stand-alone, but the series is amazing, we have met Abby the main character of this one before as she is the daughter of one of the main characters from some of the earlier books, but this one Abby comes into her own and we get to know more about her as a woman. This author shows us again how to deal with issues we all face in a more inclusive manner as she shows us how to be body positive and just accepting of sexuality no matter the form it takes. Abby is growing up and we get to go on the journey with her, it’s such an insight into her mind, and its like being a fly on the wall of a young person’s life. This really brought some amazing characters to life and I can only hope we get to hear more from them.

Have you ever felt like you needed to be a different person for whoever you are around? This is a question that I have answered many times in my personal life. Phoebe Alexander in The Explorer about these same feelings. Her character development is extensive and complex. I felt like I could be right there with Abigail. She feels that she needs to be someone different for others, but she doesn’t know how to be Abigail when alone. She is starting college and really trying to find her true self. Gavin is starting his journey. He is starting his journey to find himself. The plot is a simple story when you get down to it, but Abigail and Gavin sure makes the pages fly by. The innocence of Abigail and Gavin makes this an enjoyable read. I highly recommend this series to find out what happens to Abigail and Gavin.

This author writes with heart and her books are full of hot, steamy romance. This book is no different. It is a well written story that has well developed characters that bring the story to life. This is Abby and Gavin’s story. They both feel as if they have other people living inside them. Abby feels that everyone wants a different person. Gavin feels that no one is listening to him or even notices him, they see him as not very strong. What these two have in common with each other you will have to read this book but you don’t want to miss it. They are strong characters that I loved watching grow throughout the story. I felt bad for them in parts and joy in others. They kept me turning pages fast. I highly recommend you picking up their story.

Abby’s off to college and she can be anyone or anything she wants.
The problem is she feels like five or six different people all trapped in the same body. One Abby with her dad. One Abby with her mom. One with her sisters. One with her girlfriend. One with her friends.
Everyone wants a different version of her.
Until she meets them.
Gavin’s off to college and he can be anyone or anything he wants.
The problem is the voices in his head of all the people who’ve told him he doesn’t matter; he’s too small, too weak, too nerdy. Being a math genius is pointless if no one pays any attention to you.

Friend (What Happens on Campus Series Book 3)
By: M.L. Sparrow
5 out of 5 stars

The story Friend (What Happens on Campus Series Book 3) by M.L. Sparrow is a new adult/contemporary romance. It grabbed my attention from the beginning, and I found myself turning pages wanting to know what would happen next. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Terri Murphy and Jet Chang. Terri is a young woman who has survived an attack that has left her with feelings and fears that she never thought she would have. Terri is fiercely independent and doesn’t always ask for help, even when she needs it. Terri also has feelings for her best friend Jet. Jet is concerned about his best friend and wants to help her. He has the dream of becoming an author. He also realizes that there is a romantic interest between him and Terri. What does the future hold for Terri and Jet? Even if there is a risk to their current friendship will they take a chance and start a relationship? Read this book to find out. This story was an emotional read. When reading about Terri’s character and how she is feeling is hard at times. There are issues that may be triggers to some. I felt that the story was written in such a way that you can’t help but be touched and moved by Terri’s experiences. I enjoyed reading about many of the additional characters that interact with Terri and Jet. I grew to care about Terri with every chapter that I read and wanted her to find happiness. This is an amazing book to read and one I would highly recommend.

Joined: Book One by Mara Gan is Science Fiction/Romance book . I was drawn in from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down. There’s a little bit of everything from action to danger and even romance. The author’s style of writing and her characters are almost flawless. Her attention to detail was incredible and I literally felt like I was right there with them. At times I was on a emotional rollercoaster ride and others I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. This is a story about a woman who all she wanted to do was sit around and read books, help others and play the sports she loved to play. Problem is duty gets in the way of her doing that. Her talent of reading minds is what she wants to do most times she can tell what’s going to happen before it happens. She’s next in line to rule the galaxy and there are others who want her assassinated. She doesn’t think she needs protection and her protector has anger problems. Other problem with him being her protector is she thinks she’s falling for him. Find out what happens next in this must read Book. I can’t wait to see what’s next .

Mara Gan did a wonderful job creating this incredibly world and characters. She has described it very well. The two main characters are Meda and Perseus. Meda is a princess of not just a world, but a galaxy. She is compassionate and sweet. She has a very independent and stubborn streak that I absolutely love. Perseus is beyond fierce. He is a force to be reckoned with, but he may have found a challenge in Meda. There are ups, downs, laughter, and sadness all in this story. At the end of this story, there is a cliffhanger. This is only the first book in this series so more is yet to come, and I cannot wait!

I have once again found a new author and another great first in a series book. I really like psy-fi and
paranormal books. This was just such a great read and so refreshing. The book had me from chapter one and if I said it once I’ve said it a million times I just couldn’t put this book down.

I like how the book is in first person. I really like how I am seeing the events through the main character’s eyes. The first person narrative of this brings everything to life. I felt as if I was the character and as the events unfolded that I was experiencing them first hand. The world created by the author just came to life within my mind. I also like how things are not so straight forward and the main character falls for her guard over time. I really look forward to reading more from this author and this series as this is the first book and I am so eager to see how things pan out.
