A Merry Texan Christmas (The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) by Nicole Flockton was such a cute read! I love a great Christmas read, it brought Hallmark vibes. Maggie was a handful and I loved it, I love to go all out with cheer and decoration too. The chemistry was just right and I loved their interactions. A great expansion to the Prentice Brother series.

I love Flockton’s books and was so glad to find this holiday edition to feast on. It had just the right mixture of romance, drama, sass – it was just fantastic. I immediately invested in the storyline and dove head first into another Prentice brothers adventure very willingly. A quick delightful read that readied my heart for the holiday season!

This is the 3rd book in the Prentice Brothers series and I have loved them all. This one is especially special as it is full of Christmas spirit and joy. It such a magical time of year to find love.
Trey Prentice was a famous baseball star until he decides to retire and move back to his home town of Sweet Ridge. He takes over the local bookstore and sets out to show everyone how much he loves Christmas with his window display.
However his display ruffles someone’s feathers. That someone is Maggie.
Maggie is the towns Miss Christmas who decorates the towns windows every year. So when she sees her competition she isn’t happy.
However the attraction between her and Trey is so strong that despite the competition they find themselves drawn together. Will they fall in love and become the towns Mr and Miss Christmas or will their being competitive with each other ruin any chance of romance building.

I have really enjoyed visiting Sweet Ridge with each book in The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series from Nicole Flockton. A Merry Texan Christmas is the third book in the series and gives us a front row seat to Trey Prentice and Maggie Watson’s story. These two are fabulous together and make for many laughs and emotions while reading. I found myself pulling for them and begging them to work out throughout the book. This is one that will have you aching to put the tree up just a bit early! I love a solid holiday read to kick me off in the holiday spirit and this book was just that. I can’t wait to see what we will get next in the series!

Another enjoyable read from this author. I was quickly swept up into Maggie’s story – I mean she’s a girl after my own heart with her love of Christmas! I thought she was such a wonderful character to read about, I found her to be really likeable and relatable. I loved Trey – the two of them together made me laugh! They certainly were a match and I enjoyed the banter between them! The story flowed really well and it certainly made me feel all Christmassy after I had finished it. The authors writing was excellent as usual, I am definitely a fan of hers! Overall a wonderful read and one that I would highly recommend!

Maggie is everything I usually don’t like. Not much of a Christmas person and those happy Christmas people drive me insane normally. I loved Maggie. It could be my cynical heart has started to thaw after this crazy year or I’m desperate for happiness. Who knows, but I really enjoyed reading this book.
I got the impression that this is the final in this series, but would love to see more stories from this amazing small town in a State I love so much

These two are just the cutest! Their cute fights to their serious job issues. Trey had all around problems. From his family to his job then the girl he doesn’t have. He needs to work on a lot but he keeps irritating Miss Christmas with his window dressings. Maggie loves her jobs. Town librarian and she does the window dressings for Christmas…until pro baseball player, Trey, starts doing the window of his new business. These two have amazing push and pull.
One of my fav things in a book is that all important first kiss. I feel it sets the tone of the couple for the story. The first kiss between these two is amazing and give me tummy flutters. I think I read it a couple times.
Overall it’s a great Christmas time story plus the final book of the Prentice brothers. The story is fun and romantic. It has nice flow and the characters are good. It’s is nice to see his brothers and their fiancées.

I have loved each book that Nicole Flockton has brought to this series, and this one is no different. This is an amazing holiday romance read that puts you right in a cosy mood ready to sit back and thoroughly enjoy this read. This book has brilliant descriptions and it really captivates you and draws you into the story. It gives you all that you need from a great Romance book, the romance, the ups and downs, the banter and everything in-between! This is such an amazing series…and I’m sad that the last brother has gotten his story because I really don’t want it to end.
We are introduced to Trey in the first book. He has been away from Texas due to his baseball career. Now that that’s over…he finds himself wanting the quiet country life back home. So, he comes home and takes over a bookstore. As the holidays approach, he finds joy in taking part in getting into the holiday spirit by decorating his storefront. However, there is someone who has a problem with this…Miss Christmas.
Maggie is the town librarian and she LOVES Christmas. She loves helping the town get into the Christmas spirit by painting the windows of the stores in town. But when she sees the bookstore is painted by someone other than herself…well she won’t lose her Christmas spirit title to Trey Prentice (even if she used to have a crush on him).
The witty banter and back and forth between these two characters is fun to read and made me fall in love with them even more. There is just something wholesome about this series that I love. It feels like a place I would want to call home. This book takes its time getting to the happy ending we have come to look forward to…and it is sooo worth the wait! Another amazing story by a great author!

The fact that Trey is a bookstore owner in a small town with such a sweet name is so cozy for this story and the setting. Trey is a sweet character that’s easy to love and he and Maggie’s chemistry is so sensual as it starts off as rivals competing. I love how their dialogue seems to go with the flow of the book. This book is lovable and easy to read.

Trey is looking at retiring from Professional Baseball but what can he do, until one day he spots they old bookstore in his home town and instantly knows that’s it. As he is getting things ready, he decides to get into the christmas spirit as the whole town decorate for a wonderful christmas scene. Trey then decorates his shop and the whole town comes out and is talking about it his wonderful display, but there is one person who’s not happy and that’s Maggie who always has the best decorations and is called in the town “Miss Christmas”.
Maggie has always loved christmas it is a magical time of the year, but this year maybe a bit different she has competition i the form of an ex-baseball player and Maggie is not happy when his display is the only thing the town can talk about, can she swallow her pride and enjoy the christmas spirit.
I loved this series, I have read all the Prentice brother’s stories and too be honest Trey’s was my favourite. I loved the way Maggie and Trey interacted throughout the book with the banter and the chemistry between the two of them. The story as always was well written and loved the way the relationship grew through the book, from a enemy to lover scenario was brilliant. Also, I loved the way the other brothers came into the story and you see the family relationship grow which was lovely.
I would recommend this series to anyone, the books are easy to read and the characters are well developed and lovely.

I loved reading the book A Merry Texan Christmas (The Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 3) by Nicole Flockton. It is a wonderful holiday romance story that will warm your heart. I love the characters of Trey Prentice and Maggie Watson. Trey is a guy that finds himself at odds with Maggie who is known as Miss Christmas. It is about the decorations/display that he has put in his shop. A rivalry begins. So does the attraction that they both feel for each other. What does the future hold for Trey and Maggie? Read this book to find out. Maggie is intelligent, kind, and very talented when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Trey is a man who is handsome and not afraid to flirt with Maggie. I grew to care about what happens to Maggie and Trey. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Maggie and Trey. I love that some of the characters were brought forward from the first two books. The story has romantic moments as well as times when Maggie and Trey clashed. The author has done a wonderful job of making a story that is exciting and entertaining to read. This is a perfect holiday romance book that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

This is a series I have enjoyed from the first book. I was happy to find a third book out and Christmas to boot. This author has continued to impress me with her attention to details and her writing skills. I was pulled into right from the beginning and kept engaged to the end. This is a shorter romance story that will pull at your heartstrings as well as your soul. The characters bring the story life and make it feel realistic. I had no issues connecting with them. This is a story about Trey and Maggie. Trey is looking forward to a quiet life as he opens his new bookstore. He is excited to decorate for the holidays but he never expected to compete with Maggie who has been nicknamed as Miss Christmas. What will happen as they compete against each other, will they find more than Christmas spirit? Who will win? This is such a great Christmas story that I really enjoyed. I enjoyed watching the growth between Trey and Maggie. They have great chemistry whether they see it or not. I found myself hoping that they would find their HEA. As much as I liked Kelly and Tate’s story, I think Gianna and Tyler is now my favorite. I loved getting to see the side if Tyler we didn’t see in the first book and how he came to a lot of realizations about everything. His family, his feelings about his past and now his future.
Gianna was quite endearing for a New Yorker. She had that hard exterior, but inside she was a big softy and was doing what she could to protect herself and her livelihood.
There are so many things I want to mention but they’re so entrical to the story line that I’m afraid to spoil something.
I don’t think you will be disappointed in this book and how it ends. I can’t wait for the next one.

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton. Once again I fall head over heels for the characters this author has given us. The chemistry is off the charts and you can easily connect with each one. Tyler and Gianna both pulled me so into their story I got lost for a few hours with them happily. Each character brings something unique to the storyline and keeps readers hooked from start to finish. It’s a sweet story that I enjoyed getting lost in. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I love the characters and story world this author creates and I can’t wait to read more. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Falling for the Texan was another great book by Nicole Flockton. The previous book, One Hot Texas Summer was the first by her I had read and now I’m definitely a fan! The characters are so well written and the plot keeps you reading well into the night. I’m really hoping there will be a book for Trey, the 3rd Prentice brother and so I can keep reading more about Tyler, Gianna, Tate and Kelly!

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #2) by Nicole Flockton was a great 5 star read.
I really enjoyed Tyler and Gianna’s story. Of course if you read the 1st book Tyler doesn’t exactly paint a very good picture of himself. As I got to know him better in this read I fell for him.
Tyler is taking on wine making and is starting up his own company. He contacts his friend in New York to help with marketing and PR. Gianna is a New Yorker with the attitude to go with it. She was great and was a great strong character. She was sent to town to help market Tylers new company, but they don’t exactly start off on the right foot even though you can feel the sparks flying between them.
Gianna has planned on staying 2 weeks, she works with Tyler on ideas and designs for the company. The longer she is in town the more she starts to like it and Tyler. She is also hoping that this campaign will be a success and impress her boss.
Will Gianna accomplish her goal? Will she and Tyler get a HEA?
Overall this was a great read. I enjoyed all of the characters and they added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great romance this is the one for you. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing and you won’t want to put it down. It can be read as a stand alone, however reading book one will help you connect with some of the characters. 1-click and get started today.

Ok, im in love with this series even more now. If you haven’t read book 1, go do that first unless you don’t care to read out of order. In this story, we get to see Tyler, who we met in book 1 with his soon to launch wine business. He’s to be getting an advertising deal but instead Gia shows up. I really really liked these two. They just clicked and I could feel their emotions come off the page. I cannot wait to read more, these are great, easy reads but pack alot of heart and emotions.

Book Review: Falling for the Texan Author: Nicole Flockton Four Stars Sweet romance. This is the first book by Nicole Flockton that I have picked up and it will not be the last. A quick read, Ms. Flockton pulls you in and keeps you until the very end. Big city business woman is assigned a job in small town Texas and she is not too happy about it for a few different reasons. The last several chapters of this book when everything is coming to a quick end are definately my favorite moments. I really enjoyed the characters and the depth to them. Ms. Flockton really got you to understand who they were and what was on their minds. KLH

Falling for the Texan (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 2) by Nicole Flockton was a cute romantic read. I love this family series. Gianna was fantastic, I loved gumption and strength. I love a head strong female lead. I loved Tyler for his determination to get things done on his and not take advantage of his family name. These two together were like fireworks and I enjoyed seeing them fizzle out and come together in the end.

Falling for the Texan is the second book in Nicole Flockton’s Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series and we have one more brother to go! Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge is the spinoff of Sweet Texas trilogy that Nicole wrote Sweet Texas Fire for, the other two books were written by two other writers. The first Prentice brothers to get the book was Tate and I have to say that Tyler (who is the lead in this second book) was not a very amicable person in it and I was not a fan of his so I was a bit apprehensive when I picked up Falling for the Texan… On the other hand I knew there had to be something in it as he is one of the Prentice brothers, duh! So, we have Tyler who is a former farmer following his dream of making it as a wine maker. Gianna is a sassy big city marketing executive (and Italian!!!) that feels that she is being punished by given the account of a no name vineyard in the middle of nowhere of Texas … well, it seems there are couple of redeeming things going on – Tyler’s brother is a famous baseball star that could endorse the brand AND Gianna will show her boss who is the hoss! Add to this a sleazy man child Keith who thinks because his daddy is rich then he is entitled everything and everyone and the chemistry off the charts and you will be sucked in! Welcome to Sweet Ridge and Tymary Estates! Cannot wait for Trey’s story … Christmas is way too far away, Nicole!

I have read a couple of books from this author and now she is one of my new favorites. This is the second book of the Prentice brothers of Sweet Ridge series. I absolutely love small town romance but this author exceeded all expectations with this book. This book could be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing story.
Tyler Prentice lives for his winery. He is so excited for his launch but he needs some help. Tyler calls one of his high school friends for help and he sends him a city girl. When Tyler first meets Gianna he knows she is going to be trouble. She is very cold and quiet with him but when they start to get to know each other he feels a connection to her. Tyler knows he needs to focus on his launch but he can’t stop thinking about her but does she feel the same way? Will Tyler swallow his pride and find love or will he keep it just business?
