Get ready to be transported again! I loved reading every minute of this sweet story. I enjoyed getting to know the new characters and being able to see how past characters are. There was excellent chemistry between everyone, which made it that much harder to put down. Check it out, I highly recommend it!

This was such a sweet story. I instantly loved the characters, and it was fun, and interesting to follow their stories. I was hooked from the first page. I felt all the emotions throughout reading. The way the author writes transports you. I felt like I could see everything with my own eyes. Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction Series. The series is fun to read, the characters are well written and I love that each book concentrates on a couple so you really get to know many of the characters well. This book is about Scott and Franceen. Scott is the very busy and gorgeous CEO and doctor at the hospital and Franceen is the somewhat new Obgyn who moved to work at the rural hospital. Franceen is running from a bad experience with marriage and losing a child. She tries her best to keep everyone at arms length. However, it’s very evident that both Scott and Franceen are attracted to each other. This book, like the others in the series, kept my attention and I had a hard time stopping to sleep. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This is the third book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, but it can be read as a standalone. I don’t know how the author does it, but these books keep getting better and better. Scott is a doctor who is busy running the hospital in Waratah River and trying to set up a foundation to help others in the medical field. Franceen is a doctor who specializes in women’s health. She moved to Bunya Junction to work at Waratah hospital and get a fresh start at life after losing a child and her divorce. Scott and Franceen try to fight their feelings for one another, since they both want different things in life, but the more they work together and spend time together makes it impossible.

Let me start by saying the cover of this book is stunning! This is the second book of the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, but can be read as a standalone. I loved this book. Pandora is an overworked model who runs away (in the middle of a photo shoot) to take a break from her demanding career. Jonas runs the pub in Bunya Junction. When a woman comes bursting into his pub wearing a wedding dress he’s thrown for loop. Pandora wants to stay hidden away in Bunya Junction, but knows she must face the consequences of her actions and get back to her life. Read this book! This is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I can’t wait to see what happens in Bunya Junction next.

This is a new author to me, but I’m so glad I found her. This is the first book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, but can be read as a standalone. This book is so beautifully written. Sindy moved home several years ago after a bad relationship. She started working at a small doctors office with Colin. She slowly gets her self confidence back and is doing better. Ryan (a well known plastic surgeon) goes home to say goodbye and pay his last respects to the man who raised him (Colin). After Colin’s passing his medical practice is left to both Sindy and Ryan. Sindy believes Ryan won’t stay in their small town of Bunya Junction and will go back to the city. They start to develop feelings for each other, but being that they’re business partners until Ryan decides if he’s going to leave (and Sindy is Ryan’s good friends twin sister) a relationship may not be a good idea.

Doctor in the Outback was a great story! I loved the strength of Franceen, she has such an amazing soul. The dance between her and Scott throughout the book is so cute and I just love the relationship they have. This is the first book I have read by this author but I can’t wait to read more. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cute romance with a touch of hardships thrown in.

This is the third book in a series that I have loved so far. I have been looking forward to the third sibling Scott getting his own story and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I have now read several books by this author and I really like her writing style. This story flows really well and keeps you engaged throughout. As I’d been eagerly awaiting Scott’s story, I was hooked immediately and totally engrossed in his story. I loved the dynamic between Scott and Franceen. Both are skipping around the other, convinced that the other doesn’t have the same feelings, both scared to make that first move. Both have issues from the past that make having a relationship a bit harder for them but these two are meant to be together. I also loved that we got to see a bit of Ryan and Sindy again as they become a proper little family with the addition of their twins. This has been a fantastic series. Each book can be read as a standalone but if you are going to read the series then they should be read in order, for continuity and to avoid spoilers. I already have book 4 waiting for me on my kindle and I’m so looking forward to reading the story of the 4th sibling.

Oh, what a sweet story! Characters face the realities of living in the Australian Outback- a rural area lacking some modern amenities we all seem to take for granted. Topics unique to rural medical care are explored. The bond between adult fraternal twins is visited. The main characters must both face and overcome past betrayals, and take a chance on each other, as well as love. This is a stand-alone story, but also part of a series centering around four adult siblings.

I am absolutely LOVING this series! I loved the setting for the series and the characters in each book are just truly wonderful to read about. In this third instalment we read about Scott and Franceen. Having met Scott in the previous stories I was looking forward to his story and it didn’t disappoint. I was pretty sure I loved him but now I definitely know I do! I loved the two characters together, the chemistry and attraction between them was undeniable! I loved reading their story! I am so excited for the next book in the series – I can’t wait to go back to Bunya Junction!

This is the 3rd book in this series and it did not disappoint. I love seeing each of the Carruther siblings find love and happiness. At first I thought the predictability of the stories (by the end of the book we know who the next installment in the series will be about), would take away from my enjoyment but it doesn’t. That is actually my favorite part. These siblings seem to all be successful, good to each other and their community. Opening their hearts to other people romantically seems to be where their trouble lies. It was no different for Scott. I was so engrossed in his and Franceen’s story. Both characters grew so much and I’m so happy that they were able to come together and let love happen. I look forward to seeing where the next installment takes us with the Baby of the Carruther siblings Yolanda

I have really loved the Welcome to Bunya Junction novels so far but this one has to be my favorite yet! I really needed a feel good love story and this one just had all the right boxes ticked for me when I needed it most. This author has a wonderful knack for writing amazing scenery that takes me away to the Outback of Australia and honestly who doesn’t need that, especially in the middle of the winter in Nebraska. I absolutely fell in love with Scott and was really rooting for him happily ever after the whole time. I can’t wait to see what we will get next!

I love this series! Doctor in the Outback did not disappoint! Franceen and Scott are two broken souls, and because they are broken souls, they are two doctors who work too much. This is their story we are navigating. The author does a wonderful job bringing these two characters together. Are they able to heal one another? I will also say that the bombshell at the end has me excited about what book 4 can bring. This book can work well as a standalone novel, if you haven’t tinkered into this series at all. You don’t need to read the others for this to make sense. Even though that’s exactly what I would encourage you to do. To read all of them. This is book 3, books 1 & 2 are well worth it!

Having not read the previous two books in this series, I picked this up for a quick read and found the story works as a standalone without feeling like I’ve missed out on anything. This is a slow sizzle and burn between a doctor who’s looking for a fresh start away from city life, Franceen, and her boss, Scott, a doctor and hospital administrator who has seen people come to the rural area but ultimately leave after missing the city. Both feel like a relationship with the other is a bad idea for several reasons, despite the obvious chemistry that keeps pulling them together.
I really enjoyed the author’s depiction of the scenery and the complications and benefits of small-town/rural living. I found both of the main characters’ protestations to getting into a relationship a bit repetitive; while it wasn’t far-fetched to imagine them having such reservations, they both seemed to recite the same things to themselves whenever the attraction was kicked up a notch with new interactions. When they finally give in to their mutual attraction, a sweet relationship ensues, but I found it a little bit lacking that they didn’t really communicate those reservations they had to begin with. Like, both characters just looked for context around them to accept the obstacles they envisioned might not really be obstacles instead of talking to each other about those things.
It was a pretty good story, overall, though, with lots of sweet points along the way – some of the patients Franceen encounters, Scott’s interactions with his sister and her babies, etc.

Another great addition to the Welcome to Bunya Junction series. This book follows Dr. Scott Carruthers, who is running a busy small town hospital. He has recently hired Dr. Franceen Lewis as an obstetrician, a woman who is fighting a horrific loss of a child and faces her demons daily with her choice in profession. They both have immediate attractions to the other but the work dynamic poses some complications. Scott and Franceen are lovable characters and their chemistry is beautiful. Scott is an admirable man who shows Franceen that there are men in the world willing to open up and care without hesitation for true love. Their story is wonderful and focuses mostly on their dynamic with a sprinkling of the other great characters of Bunya Junction that we’ve met along the way with this series. I definitely recommend Doctor in the Outback for a quick romantic read.

Doctor in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction #3) by Nicole Flockton
Another great read by the author. Welcome to the Bunya Junction Series keeps you wanting more. Doctor in the Outback is a great read and I can’t wait for the next book.
Scott is now running the hospital and is experiencing his twin sister’s pregnancy symptoms. He has a thing for the new doctor, but doesn’t want to make a move on her. Afraid his past is catching up with him again. When he takes a chance it goes fine until he catches her in an act he can’t seem to let go of. The quote I chose for Scott is: “Then I’ll go to this person too. We can make this work, Franceen, because I don’t want to not try.”
Franceen loves her job although it takes a piece of her heart. Delivering Sindy’s twin girls makes her emotional wall crack. Her own past coming back to bite her in the butt. The quote I chose for Franceen is:“Two days later. Apparently that afternoon he’d gone away with friends and had left his phone in his car. He hadn’t even told me what he was doing. I admit I was absorbed in doing everything I could to keep our child safe, but I didn’t expect him to actually go away.”
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This book gave me all the feels. It has two amazing characters that have been through some things in their past. It is because of these things in their past that they are hesitant to move forward with love. They then decide to face their pasts and move forward with each other. They are finding their place together when someone from one of their pasts shows up. This pushes them to decide where they are going and what they are doing together. This book has a HEA and is a quick read. I highly recommend getting lost in the Outback of Australia where all the doctors seem to be hot and there is no lack of steam. Romance, character growth, drama, trauma, and hot steamy scenes make this book a 5 star in my opinion.

Dr Scott Carruthers is overworked and needing some help in the local hospital in Waratah but when Dr Franceen Lewis arrives to help and carry some of the load all his rules are starting to go out of the window.
Dr Franceen Lewis is wanting to escape the divorce and tragedy that has happened in her life in the big city, moving to the small local hospital will help her refocus on her career which out the distraction of her Ex, but as she meets Scott, she cannot deny the instant spark that happens between them, but she has sworn off men for the time being.
Can Scott break through the walls that Franceen has built, and can he break his own rules regarding work colleagues’ romances, you will have to read to find out.
This is the third story in the series and finally tells the story of Scott one of the Carruthers twins, you have seen glimpses of him through the first two books but at last he is here, and this story does not disappoint. The chemistry between the main characters is brilliantly written. The character of Scott has always intrigued me and finally we see into his life and the pressures he is under with running the hospital.
Franceen’s character shows warmth and empathy to her patients and with her history she is more determined to go above and beyond. The true character is seen in this book and when they finally decide to make the most of the relationship it is brilliantly draft and a pleasure to read.
I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this wonderful series.

Franceen comes to town to assist a doctor who is a little overwhelmed with the caseload and escape her demons of a failed marriage. While there is instant attraction between the two, they must figure out how to work with each other in a new capacity. Doctor in the Outback is the third book in the Welcome To Bunya Junction series by Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet contemporary romance, set in a small town in the Australian Outback. The story is wonderfully woven with heartwarming emotion, humour, some drama, chemistry, and family dynamics. The series follows the Carruthers siblings, who each get their own book- Sindy (Book One), Jonas (Book Two), Scott (Book Three), and Yolanda (Book Four). This is Scott and Franceen’s story, and is one on my favourites of Ms. Flockton’s books, so far. We have met Scott in the previous two books, being the twin brother of Sindy. He is the Doctor in charge of the only hospital in the nearby town. He’s been kept so busy running the hospital that he has very little time for anything else. When he finally gets some help, it comes with different complications- the sexy alluring kind that he can’t seem to keep his mind off. Franceen Lewis moved to the outback for a fresh start after tragedy struck, and then her marriage failed. She just wanted to focus on her career and rebuilding a life for herself. She was totally unprepared for the intense attraction to her new boss, or the chemistry between them. But having experienced so much pain in her past, will Franceen risk it all for a chance at love again? This wonderful story is well worth the read to find out…. As always, I can count on Nicole Flockton to deliver a captivating story as I was pulled into another engrossing story that wouldn’t let me put it down till I had read every last word. This was a great read! A great continuation of this series. It did take me a bit to get into, because I had to go back and remember some of the characters mentioned from previous books, as it has been a while since I’ve read them. This can be read as a standalone but you get more bang from this book when you read the other books first. This was entertaining and enthralling with a great storyline. I was immerses from the first chapter and really enjoyed being on the journey with Scott and Franceen. It was just an all around good read. I can’t wait to read the next one soon!

This contemporary romance was so beautifully written that I couldn’t put it down. Our main characters both show so much emotion, that you can’t help but relate to them, both have been hurt before but can they open themselves back up to love again? This story was so full of emotion, births, accidents, serious obstacles that you can’t help but feel like your on a roller coaster ride that’s full of wild twists and turns. Will put characters open themselves back up? Could a happy ending be worth risking a heart break again? You’ll have to pick up a copy of this book to find out for yourself!

Sweet romance What an introduction to the town of Bunya Junction. I really loved meeting the locals and following Sindy and Ryan’s journey. The setting is awesome being from Australia myself, and it felt like I was there. This was a very sweet but mature romance which had its fair share of drama and misconceptions. The writing is easy to read and the story draws you in. Absolutely brilliant series starter.

Better and better I just love Bunya Junction and the Curruthers family. The third book in the series is Scott’s book, Sindy’s twin brother and a doctor with a lot going on. He meets Franceen and sparks start to fly. This is another brilliant addition and I just love the Aussie flavour. There were laugh-out-loud moments, especially with the twin bond between Sindy and Scott. So happy to see there is a fourth book with Yolanda’s story.
