The author has done it once again. With the introduction of new characters intertwining with familiar characters, new opportunities for love, family and growth are introduced as well. Not only is this book easy to read, it is also enjoyable and reminds us that love and possibilities are out there. If you enjoy a good love story with just the right amount of twists, this is a must read.

I have read this whole series of The Outback and love it. These books can be read as a standalone series if you don’t want to read the three books before. I love that Yolanda and Michael reconnect and have chemistry. Their marriage was in shambles that left them separated from each other than reunited in the outback of Bunya Junction. This book was emotional and with a splash of drama and marriage oops but also shows that love can overcome anything if you really try. I hope there will be another book in this series. It has became one of my favorites.

“Reunion in the Outback” written by Nicole Flockton, is the fourth book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Michael and Yolanda were high school sweethearts, who left their small hometown and moved to the city to start a life together. They are now married with a young daughter, but when some intense and emotional stressors appear in their marriage, Yolanda heads back home hoping to rebuild her life. Michael is determined to keep his family together and fight for his marriage. The lack of communication between the couple was very frustrating at times, but I did enjoy the character development.

Wow the author has done it again!! This was just as good if not better than the other books in the series!! This book in the series revolved around Yolanda who was originally from the small town who decided to return with her daughter in tow taking her daughter with her. Michael is a chef who loves his wife but is consumed with his work. When she and their daughter leaves, he realizes that he has to do everything to be able to be together again. They go through numerous trials and tribulations and their love story is just beautiful. If you are wanting to find a good series to read this is the one for you!! I look forward to rereading the series over and over again!

This is the fourth book in this series and it was just as good as the first. This is Yolanda and Michael’s story. These two got married right after high school and moved away to the city to start their lives together, but as time has gone on and a tragedy happened they find themselves out of sync. Yolanda goes home to Bunya Junction with her daughter to decide what she’s going to do about her marriage. Michael feels like his whole life is falling apart after his wife leaves. Both of them are holding onto a secret, will their secrets tear them apart? This is a wonderful romantic read. I have read many books by this author and I am never disappointed. I recommend this book.

Yolanda and Michael had been high school sweethearts and had a storybook love. Lately, however, they had been drifting apart. Having eloped and leaving their quaint hometown when they were just out of school, Yolanda stayed home with their daughter and made makeup tutorials on YouTube. Michael was a successful executive chef, working his way up from dishwasher. So, when Yolanda suddenly announces she’s leaving and taking their daughter, Michael is blindsided. How could he convince his wife that they still belonged together? I thoroughly enjoyed this latest book in the series. I was drawn into the story and loved every minute of it.

Dr. Scott Carruthers is a doctor in the neighboring town where he drew up. Dr. Franceen Lewis has only been a part of the staff for six months, but has found her place as a women’s doctor and obstetrician. When they realize their feelings are mutual, will his jaded past and the burden of hers keep them from finding peace with each other? This is a great read, wonderful characters and storyline. Ryan Flanagan was a well-respected plastic surgeon in Sydney. He was living the life most people just dreamed of. Sindy Carruthers has worked hard to get where she is as the practice nurse at the small-town medical clinic. After her boss is in an accident, everything looks so out of control. How will the replacement doctor handle the practice? Will she still have a job? I love this series, the characters, setting, all of it!

While Michael is needed at his demanding job, he soon finds he wants his family back. But will they two come together and work through their secrets? Communication is what this couple needs to get back on track. This being the 4th book in this series and having met Yolanda’s siblings. I was overjoyed when it finally came. As usual this author did not disappoint. All of your emotions will be on high alert. This quick page turner will keep you reading until the end. Family is the most important highlight and the characters bring it all home. I highly recommend you read this series in order. As some valuable information is within this series.

Reunion in the Outback is a story about Yolanda and Michael Watson. They are high school sweethearts that leave Bunya Junction to have a better future and leave their not-so-good past behind. I thought that this book has likable characters that are well written. There is a lot of care and thought put into this story that I greatly appreciate. The characters can be infuriating because they make everything harder than it needs to be by keeping secrets and not communicating. Without this, the conflict would have been resolved within a few chapters. If you are a person that likes angst, then you will probably enjoy this story a lot. Overall, it’s a pretty good read.

A wonderful ending to series that captured my heart. This book was about Yolanda, the youngest of 4 siblings, and her husband Michael. Yolanda and Michael left Bunya Junction right after high school. As with many families, things happen and conversations change as life changes. After a scary incident fear has caused the two of them to stop communicating like they used to. When she can’t take it anymore, Yolanda runs away back to Bunya Junction and her family.

I loved the characters in the series. It really made it special to see the family and couples come together. Each book had situations and people that I could relate to and feel the love shared between the couples as the siblings each find their way to love. This last book was emotionally hard to read at times but it is definitely a great ending to this series.

I have really loved this series and getting to know all of the characters so I was looking forward to reuniting with the characters in this book as well as finding out more about Yolanda. I have to admit I didn’t love it as much as the others but saying that it was still beautifully written with some really sad parts that definitely pulled on my heartstrings. I really did want to shout at Yolanda and Michael at some parts – so much heartache between them because of lack of communication! I really felt for Yolanda and what happened to her, I can feel how much it affected Michael too and how he didn’t want to speak up in. fear of upsetting her. Jayne was such a sweetie though! She was definitely the glue for them both!
It was lovely to see the progress in the lives of some of the other characters too! I have really loved this series and would definitely recommend this book and the others to other readers!

This was an emotional 5 star read. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. This was a great ending to this series.

After a conversation with her husband Michael, Yolanda has decided to return to her hometown with her daughter for a break. Michael follows Yolanda, determined to work things out and get his family back where they belong. I do have to say that I had a love/hate relationship with these two. I had moments where I wanted to shake them. We also find that they both have secrets, what will happen when they come out? Can they make their marriage work?

Overall this was a great read. This story hits on several things that affect marriages everyday and shows just how difficult things can be. It was great seeing characters from the other books. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from book one so you can meet the rest of the family. The author has done a great job with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her. Kudos on a great ending to this series. 1-click and get started today.

Yolanda and Mark have loved each other from school got married and moved to the big city, but things have started to strain and Yolanda does not know what to do. She decides to go back home and try and work through her emotions.

Mark arrives home and find Yolanda and his daughter have gone to visit family but as the weeks go by he realises that there is something seriously wrong, so he packs up and follows them to Bunya Junction to try and save his family.

This story has been brewing through the last three stories and I am so glad Yolanda and Mark get to share their journey with us in this book. This story was heart warming and real, real everyday struggle with some secrets added in.

The story is well written and winds through the characters trying to come to terms with themselves as well as trying to drawn them back together. As you read through the story you understand there is much more to their story and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved the way the secondary characters are compliment the main characters and offer support.

To be honest every story I read by this author is wonderful, I am a little sad that this is the last book in this wonderful series but can wait for the next book/series to come along.

Reunion in the Outback is the fourth and final book in the Welcome To Bunya Junction series by Nicole Flockton. This was a bit of a bittersweet read for me, as on one hand I was excited to finally get Yolanda and Michael’s story- but also sad that this is the final instalment in the series as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the characters or Bunya Junction. But Nicole Flockton certainly didn’t disappoint with this final book- providing a wonderful story to finish the series on.
Reunion in the Outback is a second chances contemporary romance, set in a small town in the Australian Outback. The story is beautifully woven (as expected), with family, angst, emotion, drama, communication issues, marriage woes, separation, secrets, and how the power of love can overcome anything.
If you haven’t read these wonderful books yet, the series follows the Carruthers siblings, who each get their own book- Sindy (Book One), Jonas (Book Two), Scott (Book Three), and Yolanda (Book Four). This is Yolanda and Michael’s story, and what a story they had to tell. It is a little different from the others in the series, being that Yolanda and Michael have a well of history between them, and being married but now separated. Yolanda has returned to her hometown in the outback to regroup after her marriage woes. Is this really the end? What happens when Michael decides that he doesn’t want to lose the love of his life? What is he willing to do to prove his love and commitment to Yolanda? And most importantly, will Yolanda give him a chance to try to rekindle their love- or is it all a case of ‘too little-too late? The story is definitely worth the read to find out.
I wonder what Ms. Flockton has in store for us next?
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Nicole Flockton.

This was a great read, but also very infuriating to me, and I’ll tell you why in a minute! This story was well thought it, and had a ton of depth to it and was very well written. It was immersive, and I was so happy to be back in Bunya Junction. For a final novel to a series this one knocked it out of the park. HOWEVER, and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of the 5 I so desperately want to give it, is because the main characters were so stubborn and in their own heads, the whole book could have been resolved in the matter of a few chapters if they would have just communicated! I wanted to bang my head against the wall at just how stubborn they were both being. That’s the only reason I can’t give this one 5 stars is because of my angst with the characters. I loved them but also hated them. I absolutely loved this series and I am so glad I had the opportunity to read them! I highly recommend this book and series.

Yolanda comes home to Bunya Junction. Not only is she with family, but she’s getting a break. Things haven’t been going well with her marriage. Will she be able to figure it out? The quote I chose for Yolanda is: “I’m here. I’ve worked behind a bar before, as well as waitressed. I can help you. Let me.”

Michael comes home from work one day and finds that his wife and daughter are gone. He loses his job and isn’t sure what to do. Can he get his family back before it’s too late? The quote I chose for Michael is: “I’ll be in later today to gather my things. I believe the recipes I’ve created are my intellectual property, not the restaurant’s.”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This is such an emotional, beautiful love story that just runs you through all of the emotions. Yolanda and Michael truly belong together. They are each other’s first loves and are happily married when tragedy strikes and starts to weaken their marriage. Michael throws him self into his job to try to fight back the fear he’s holding in and Yolanda reacts negatively when he says he doesn’t ever want another child. She runs back home to Bunya Junction for what was supposed to be just a short visit but soon becomes a much longer separation than originally planned. Michael decides to fight for his family but they both have demons they are going to have to face if they want to save their marriage. Most important of all they are going to have to be open and vulnerable with each other. This book was amazing and if you haven’t read the others in this series I highly recommend that you do. Each book is just as amazing as the next. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future.

While this book is part of a series, this is the first I have read from it. This didn’t impact the storyline, I still had no problem relating to the characters and following along. There were times, especially at the beginning where both characters infuriated me. Their stubbornness and lack of communication was beyond frustrating. When I take a step back, however, that’s the same thing I enjoyed about the storyline. Both characters were REALISTIC. I overall enjoyed the author’s writing and the book in general. I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming romance, and having loved the previous books in this series it was nice to be back in Bunya Junction. The storyline focuses on Yolanda Watson, who has returned to her hometown from the big city, having separated from her high school sweetheart husband, Michael. Yolanda and her young daughter are back in Bunya Junction and surrounded by family and hoping to start a new life, but she’s missing her husband. Meanwhile, Michael’s life is falling apart after his wife left him, and he’s definitely not ready to give up on his marriage to his soulmate.
Michael returns to Bunya Junction, willing to do anything to get his family back, and make Yolanda see that they still love each other. However, Michael has a secret to tell, but telling his wife the truth about his circumstances is harder than he expected, and it will be the ultimate test of their love. As usual the authors descriptive narrative brings the wonderful setting of Bunya Junction vividly to life, making me feel yet again immersed in the place. The characters are likeable and relatable, especially Yolanda and Michael and I was hoping they would get their HEA. I liked that the romance storyline was slightly different as the couple were actually already married. An enjoyable and engaging read which I definitely recommend.

A bittersweet ending to a wonderful series! In our final adventure in Bunya Junction, we meet the baby. The youngest Carruthers’ sibling Yolanda. Reunion in the Outback shows the struggles of marriage between her and Michael. Unlike the other characters, siblings, stories, everyone else found love for the first time. Yolanda already has it, well she thought she did.
I love how the author depicts their marriage struggles. Marriage is not easy and everyone goes through their own obstacles, but if you don’t give up and push through you can very well succeed. Not that everyone does, and these two characters were tested in ways that could kill multiple marriages and they had it all.
It’s a great book, as well as a great series. Trust me when I say once you read one, you will want to read them all!

Reunion in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction Book 4) by Nicole Flockton. I love this series and this addition about second chance love is just as great! Its the story of Yolanda and Michael. Yulonda is originally from Bunya Junction and when she and Michael got together she couldn’t get away fast enough. Now that is life is falling apart she takes her daughter and runs right back. She has left Michael and she feels like her whole world is falling apart. When Michael, a great Chef at a hardcore restaurant finds out Yolanda has left him he doesn’t know what to do. Deciding that nothing is more important than his family he packs his bags and moves back to Bunya Junction as well. He thinks if he can prove to Yolanda that he’s in it 100% then she will come back. When his past threatens to tear it all apart again Michael isn’t sure he did the right thing. This story shows how hard marriages are and that to make a successful one you both have to want it and really work for it. Read this heart warming contemporary romance!

Reunion in the Outback is the fourth book in the Welcome to Bunya Junction series. I have read the entire series of the Carruther’s siblings journey of love and I have enjoyed them all. This book focuses on the youngest, Yolanda, who runs home to Bunya Junction leaving her husband, Michael. Michael, shocked of his wife leaving and taking their young daughter, determines to fight for what he loves most, his family, so he returns to his small home town, one he ran from years previously with Yolanda.
I love how this book focuses on not a new love, but rather a long term love that has weathered storms that the other books were not able to focus on. Family, careers, life and death situations all come into focus on Yolanda and Michael fighting to fall back into love with each other and realize that they are soulmates. Not only do I recommend this book, but the entire series. All are super fast reads that will leave you happy.

This one is really a emotional ride! Watching these two struggle to stay together is heartbreaking….as well as realistic. Since we get dual POV I am equally frustrated and hopeful for both characters. I could see Michael’s side by trying to prove himself. BTW I loved his job! There are not a lot of books about being a chef and the trials to go with it. Equally Yolo has issues related to how people see her among a few more recent one.

We do get to see a lot of the previous characters. I definitely felt that big brother/little sister vibe coming from them towards Yolo.

Overall this is a good story. A lot of time is spent thinking and re-thinking situations in their heads. Not my favorite-too realistic for me. But still a nice heartfelt story and sometimes coming home is the best thing.
