This sweet romance read is like a Hallmark Christmas movie with a little spice! I love that there is no real drama in this story. Its refreshing to read a book that has no serious drama in it, mostly sweetness all the way through. I love reading from Thea’s point of view and her thought process on everything that happens. Nothing seemed too far fetched making the story realistic in my opinion. Not wanting to give anything away I enjoyed the surprise for the last chapter! I wouldn’t mind reading more about Jules! Maybe a second book is in the future!
This was my first ever apocalyptic read and I enjoyed it. I’m beginning to love books written in the style this book is written in. It’s dual perception but not separated by chapters. The epilogue definitely leaves you on a cliff hanger but there is a warning. This was the first book of this series that I read so I’m planning on reading books 1 & 3 next!

This was an enjoyable read from start to finish. This book included strong female characters, shape shifting, drama, and great character development. When I first saw this cover and read the synopsis I knew right away that I had to pick up this shape shifting adventure. While all of the characters where fantastic I really loved the drama and intensity that Cheyenne brought to this story and when the author brought Lane in the intensity between the two increased ten fold. While there is intensity, and drama between the two characters there is also romance, and such terrific character development that they really felt like a real life couple. But will Lane and Cheyenne get their happy ending? Will Cheyenne’s trama keep her heart sealed off? Can Cheyenne learn to trust and love her mate? You’ll have to read this fantastic shape shifter story to find out for yourself.

Such an amazing read. You get right into it from the first page. You instantly feel the heat between Betsey and Nash. Being a total book nerd loved that these two met in a library. It’s fast paced and easy to read. You long for it to continue and are sad when it ends leaving you wanting more. This author really knows how to lure the readers in. You will not be disappointed in this book!

Where to start….This is book two in Bobbin Sisters series and this is a very fast paced, action packed book. You first meet Leann in book one, Check Out and you start to fall in love with her character and hoping that her life will start to look up. When Len shows up you instantly know that her life is being turned upside down and all for the better. My only complaint with this book is that it ended way too fast. There is so much more story to tell of Leann and Len and I hope that this series will continue.

Amy McKinley has cemented herself as my favorite new author of 2021 with her most recent novel Blood Oath! In her follow up novel to No Way Home, the second book in the Mafia Elite series exceeded all expectations that I had for the book.
Similar to other series she has written, in this novel we focus on new characters who had supporting roles in the first novel. The story of Sofia and Enzo is full of secrets, suspense, chemistry and tension, making it easy for me to read it in a short period of time.
Anyone who is a fan of mafia romance and action-packed stories need to read this series. I am looking forward to seeing what Amy comes up with next!
Cheyenne is a strong willed woman who sets out from her hometown to try finding her own way in San Francisco. Cheyenne is searching for her mate, someone she can wholeheartedly be herself with as a mountain lion shifter. One night after a date that didn’t work out, she finally feels the mating call pulling her in the direction of her home town. Who will be waiting for her when she reaches her childhood home? I really enjoyed reading this book. The author did a great job sharing Cheyenne’s thoughts and feelings. And I loved how independent Cheyenne is going off to the big city and giving her dream career a chance. The characters in the book are a big family and love each other very much. I definitely connected with Cheyenne and the multitude of feelings she dealt with after meeting her mate. I can’t wait to learn more about Cheyenne’s siblings and the changes happening around their town in future books of this series.

The Mating Call (Long Claw Pride #1) by Brooke May
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The author creates a world we can escape to. The Mating Call is the first book in the Long Claw Pride Series.
Cheyenne is eighteen and ready to be on her own. She goes to Cali to find herself before the call comes. When it does come she is ready to go home. There she finds her mate already waiting for her at her house. The quote I chose for Cheyenne is: “And I’m not. I just want to find my own footing before I have to let nature take hold of me.”
Lane is busy working away when the call hits him hard. He drops everything and follows the pull towards his mate. The only thing he is missing is his court date. He finds his mate only to be taken from her. The quote I chose for Lane is: “No, I want to be able to tell our grandchildren someday it was me who put every log up, who nailed in almost all the nails to seal our home closed to keep the love in, and I want to be an example for our children, grandchildren, and all the generations to come how hard work can be so rewarding.”
This is a funny romance with a fairy tale twist. The characters were well written and realistic, endearing, and entertaining. With chance meeting, an amazing weekend together and the cherry on top was a life changing surprise for Harper and Lincoln. These two are opposite of each other but you know the saying opposites attract. This was a great read and if you want to know what happens to these two you will have to read this terrific book…

Brittany has got me hooked on this series! The development of the characters is just mind-blowing. Each book is original, unpredictable, enthralling, action-packed, fast-paced and entangled in off-the-chart chemistry. Having read Book 1- I like that I could pick up right where I left off, no need to worry, each book can be read as a standalone; however, I encourage you to read Book 1, Born to Fight to keep abreast of the saga. Born to Fall was a welcoming break from reality. I commend Derek in his patience towards a broken Julia, which added to the novel’s relatability. We’ve all endured some form of brokenness- but when the right person(s) comes along, they give aid to our healing process. I am completely invested in this series- would it be wrong of me to say that I’m highly anticipating Sawyer & Kayla’s story? Kudos to you Brittany, for your brilliant storytelling and for creating stories that captivate your readers. You have my undivided attention. 😊

This is a story of two fated souls drawn to each other. This book pulled me right in from the very first page. Cheyenne feels herself drawn to Lane no matter how hard she tries to fight it. She’s a strong independent woman and is terrified to let her walls down, but Lane is so sweet, hardworking and patient that she feels her resolve crumbling by the minute. I laughed, smiled and swooned at their interactions as they began to grow closer. The attraction between them is undeniable but it’s so much more than that. They’ve both spent a lifetime yearning for and searching for something that they can only find in each other’s arms. The ending was so sweet and perfect that it made me love this book even more. I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

Parker Fairchild wrote a beautiful, romantic, festive story that I couldn’t put down! The story of Olivia and Jace was well written and such a fairytale. Who wouldn’t love a Christmas cruise, cookies, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. If you’re looking for fun and romance in the sun with some Christmas magic, this book is for you!

Nothing gets you started feeling the holiday spirit like a Christmas story. This was a light, fun holiday romance that was very enjoyable. Olivia is intelligent woman whom happens to be a chemist. She goes on a holiday cruise just to avoid her sister and sister’s fiance, whom also happens to be Olivia’s ex. Jace, a former Navy SEAL, is on the cruise as well celebrating his friends wedding. When Jace meets Olivia he is totally drawn to her. I just love this story of Olivia and Jace that is full of love, hope and definitely Christmas cookies!!

The Elements of the Crown (The Elements of Kamdaria Book 1) by Kay L. Moody contains the first four books of this series and I dare you to be able to stop after just one. This is my first book by Ms. Moody and it contains everything that I personally love in a good book. Full of magic, some romance, an incredible female lead, and fun this book has something for everyone. These novellas are also written beautifully, have a strong female lead, with some supporting characters, the plot is full of jusy enough twists and turns to keep the reader hooked until the very end. So of your looking for a good new series to start then I highly recommend The Elements of the Crown (The Elements of Kamdaria Book 1) by Kay L. Moody.

I fell in love with Luke and Nikki. Their story was full of passion, love, drama, and of course secrets that could make or break everything. Each one is trying to better their lives for themselves and those they love. As you watch them come together you will want to fight for their love as much as you want them to fight for it. Luke plays bass for Default Distraction and is currently in need of a nanny for his daughter Brie. Already having gone through so much he wants to make sure its someone who is loving and can connect with him and his daughter. When Nikki comes along everything points to her being the one for the job..and possibly even for him. Together they must go through many ups and downs to find the common ground they need to be together with nothing but love and truth between them. Its a great story!

I so enjoyed this book and so hard to put down. I laughed and I cried, and I love a book that can give me so many emotions. Breckin is nursing a broken heart after her husband leaves her for a younger woman. Griff, also broken, comes home to Parker after a accident. I love how this story intertwines two people that were hurt in the past to become close. Can I also just say I loved Griff’s grandmother! This is a book with a small town feel and all about overcoming hurt and to trust again. Truly a great read and I highly recommend this book!

Cheyenne is a mountain lion shifter from Long Claw where she is surrounded by her family and beautiful, mountainous scenery, but all she wants to do is live her life on her terms and decide her own fate, so she leaves for the big city to build a career in radio. Lane is a mountain lion shifter from a broken family who has spent more time alone and wandering the countryside with only a horse as a companion and finding work where he can.
One day, ten years after she left Long Claw, Cheyenne is preparing for another radio show when all of a sudden she feels a painful internal tug to which takes her breath away and surprises her with its intensity. Meanwhile, Lane is also struck by a painful pull and he almost falls off of his horse because of it, but when he realises what it is, he reads straight off in the direction it points out.
As Cheyenne and Lane both heed the Mating Call and head towards Long Claw, they are both anxious about what the future holds and whether they will be attracted to the other or clash like two titans. Lane is the first to arrive and is immediately wondering about what he has let himself in for and how comfortable he already feels in this small town, while Cheyenne feels happier than she has in a long time and a sense of belonging she didn’t want to admit to. Their first meeting doesn’t go quite to plan and over a family meal, Lane begins to wonder why Cheyenne keeps her distance and practically runs as far from him as she can, but Cheyenne is worried that the past could be repeating itself.
Will Lane be able to break down the walls around Cheyenne’s heart, it will past experiences stop their future before it can even begin? This is a romance with ups and downs where pasts taint futures and collide with each other to bring secrets into the light, all while exploring the meaning of belonging and connecting with those around you.

This book is hot and steamy for sure! Cheyenne is a lion mountain shifter who saved up money to leave her little Long Claw town to go and hope to star in a radio station. 10 years later, she finds out a tugging way that her time has come for her mate. She returns home to meet Lane Matthews, a hot and sexy fixer upper Lion Mountain shifter who enters her Long Claw family home. There they welcome friendship, love, and family. Some things from the past show up and they all work together. I truly loved this book and already getting ready for the 2nd book in this series! 🙂

I couldn’t put this book down; literally read it in one day between pesky tasks like work and preparing food for sustenance.
The book builds a wonderfully magical world of elves and other mystical creatures. Starting out with the murder of the elven king and queen of the Twilight Realm, the book follows the young Prince Phoenix into hiding with his father’s advisor.
With both changing their names for safety, Nix and Nate live quietly until the time is right for the prince to take back his rightful throne. In that time, Nix continues his education and learns to blend with locals.
Meanwhile, a young girl, Zoe, is trapped in a fortress as the daughter and captor of her parents, the regents who are responsible for the royal deaths. As her mother’s personal lab rat, Zoe endures torture by receiving tattoos infused with dark magic. Possessing the magic to give life, Zoe discovers she can control the tattoos and use them to her advantage, but the latest one is darker than all the others and she becomes desperate to escape.
Fate brings Nix and Zoe together, and they must battle both their own fears and doubts and Zoe’s parents together if the Twilight Realm can heal and be restored.

M. Wray – Review by Wendy Wary
Nix is the Crown Prince, but only one other elf and the brownies from his palace know. He’s in hiding after the brutal death of his parents at the hands of the current regents in charge of the Twilight Realm.
Zoe grew up being poked and prodded by her mother to see just what her magic could do. Eventually, she escaped and is now living with an elf in the woods trying her best to heal herself and other children her parents have hurt.
Both Zoe and Nix have a plan to break into the fortress. Nix to save his sister from the regents; Zoe to save the children from her parents. It’s when they’re planning that they realize just who the other is and where they come from. Will this effect how they work together? Can they trust each other?
Twilight’s Curse is absolutely magical. I struggled a little getting into it, but I think that mainly is because I don’t typically fall into this style of fantasy when reading. It turned into a fun, entertaining read that made me laugh out loud in several places while also keeping me in suspense during others.
Nix is a young elf trying so hard to find out how to be the best king for his people but also keep himself alive while he finds his sister. Zoe is determined to right so many of her parents wrongs and save the children from the pain she was handed. Their chemistry and frustration towards one another is palpable and fun to read.
I look forward to seeing what K. M. Wray has in store for these two and all of the Twilight Realm.

I am a PR fan, but I loved this book! The up and coming Hollywood heart throb, Lincoln, falls hard and fast for the fiery, independent redhead, Harper. She doesn’t even recognize him, so Lincoln is certain she’s not after him for his money. After an amazing weekend together, she’s all he can think about and he cannot wait to see her again. But Harper, not wanting to get her heart broken, didn’t give him her number and he had to change his number because it was leaked to the public. Read the book to find out what happens in Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer. This is a book that you won’t be able to put down.

The author does a great job giving the reader an erotic glimpse into the complex and intriguing relationship between a Domme and sub. The relationship between MaryBeth and Elgin shows a level of trust that most relationships never reach. The author’s description of the past that lead to the present is clear enough to grip the reader and give a true sense of healing necessary for Elgin. If you’re interested in an erotic and descriptive look into a trusting D/s relationship, definitely check this one out.

Twilight Curse is a great start to the Twilight Realm Series. There is alot of great descriptive work in this book. One of the first things that attracted me to this book is the blur and the cover as its extremely attractive. Zoe magic is very unique and I like the way it is explain an how she uses it. I hate her parents they are genuinely horrible people who would do that. Having all the magical mystical fantasy character made me feel so alive. The world bulding in this book is fantastic. I am looking forward to the next books in the trilogy.

Ever have a moment in your life where EVERYTHING is going wrong? Like you are on a ship that is sinking and everything you try to help it just makes it worse? Yeah, that is how the main character in this book (Lauren) feels like. She is sick of the drama that has become her life. She is trying to change her life. She moved back to her hometown, she got a new courtroom job, and she has left her love life (or lack of one) behind. But her life comes to a crashing halt when she goes to pick up her boss and finds her dead! Now she’s the number one suspect in the murder and her ship is sinking even faster! So much for her new life right? Lauren starts to investigate herself to prove herself innocent. So, will Lauren go to prison for the murder? Will she be able to find the Judge’s killer before anyone else gets hurt? Or will she end up another victim of the real killer? I do not know how to start this review, the truth is that I have always loved fantasy books but honestly I had never ventured to read a book with magical creatures and only magical creatures. but the truth is that it has made me open up one more space in my mind and I decided to give it a 100% chance The story is quite good and the truth is that not everything is happiness and super epic adventures but there is also a dark and quite dense side but I think that makes it an even more special book. The author did a pretty impressive job in creating the world and best of all, he has been able to create it so realistically and has invited us to live in it.

M. Wray – Review by Diana Balderas
This is the second book in the series. We meet or get to know more of Derek and Julia. They have a strained relationship. Each fears the other won’t accept them as they are..scars and all. This is filled with ups and downs as they work through their fears and outwardly battle strangers who seem like more. Julia is a wonderful strong female and I loved getting her perspective on things as much as Dereks.
Its been a while since I read book one. Honestly I did not remember much of the story or characters. Once I got into this one and realized it offers snippets of the first I started remembering. I enjoyed how this book offers looks into the brothers possible futures. And seriously if that epilogue is ANYTHING to go by…I cant wait for Hayden and Anna. It should be full of action!
