This book is absolutely amazing! I enjoyed the first part of Red’s story and his background with Cher and the MC but part 2 really blew me away. It deals with some really deep issues that I wasn’t expecting but drew me right in from the very first page. The author is amazing for handling such a sensitive issue and handling it so sensitively. It really helped me to see things that I wasn’t very familiar with from a different perspective and it made me love this book all the more. This book is full of romance and action as well and has a twist that had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen. The ending was so perfect that it made me tear up and swoon. You should definitely read part 1 first because then you’ll be more familiar with who everyone is and it will make a whole lot more sense. This book is a definite must read!

Is the second book in the new Las Vegas chapter series. It is a spin off from the original series Satan’s Devils where we were first introduced to Red and one book I have been anxiously awaiting. I absolutely love these bikers and this is the second part of Red’s story. The author just keeps on giving when it comes to these men and women and there is never a dull moment. It is not just reading a story, she makes you feel that you are a part of the story and living it side by side with the men and women who have become family. Sometimes an audiobook helps to bring a story to life and other times it makes it more difficult to fully enjoy the story. In this case it definitely helped bring the story to life. Right from the start the listener (reader) is captured inside a world full of wonder. The main character is a Shinree, a race that has the ability to use magic but it comes at a cost. Any time they use magic it costs not only life around them but it feeds the individuals addiction. The main story takes place 10 years after the war in the prologue and shows the world after the cost has been paid.

Red’s Peril Part 2: The Prez’s Old Lady is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Vegas series (which is a spin off to the original Stan’s Devils series) by the talented Manda Mellett. MC romance is definitely Ms. Mellett’s wheelhouse- but I imagine she would excel at any genre she chose to write. This is the second part to the story we started in book one- so if you haven’t read book one yet I highly recommend that you do so you don’t miss out on important details. As I said earlier, this is a fabulous MC romance with plenty of interesting elements, quirky characters, edge of your seat developments, drama, twists, agendas, mystery, friendship, camaraderie, emotion, and more… After reading the first book, I was well and truly hooked, and couldn’t wait to get my hands on part two. What an amazingly beautiful story of women of the past and present! This is like multiple stories combined into one fantastic tale. We begin with Annie’s ancestors and what their life was like. It is so vividly described, I felt like, I was right there. It is a story set in the old country, giving us a set up to the present. Then we are back to present day and Annie. Feeling stuck and at a crossroads, she takes a break from her life and learns so much.
The people are what make this book phenomenal. All of them — both of the past and the present — are unique and add to the story. This is a story of the endurance of women over the years through love and loss, and everything that comes between. It makes you stop and be thankful for who and what you have. And to never stop believing.
I am so happy to have found this wonderful tale and be immersed in it. It brought joy to by soul and I highly recommend it to those who like women’s fiction with a bit of magic mixed in.

Another great read. This book picks up right where book one left off so it is my suggestion you read that one first. It is also my suggestion you read all the Satan’s Devils MC books because they are awesome and you will get to know more of the men and their journeys. Red is such a good man and I was hoping he would find happiness with someone. Cher and Red have changed a lot since they last saw each other and they definitely get tested in this story. This is an emotional read full of action, twists and turns, romance and I even learned some things that I didn’t know and I’m glad I am more informed. This author is always a must read for me, I am never disappointed and the writing style always pulls me into the story and gets me completely invested in the characters. I highly recommend this book; it’s a definite five star read!

I loved how book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. This continuation of Red and Cheryl’s story was truly one wild ride of emotions. When Red and Cher reconnect after 15 years apart, so much has happened, but their love for each other never faded. We meet Red’s son, Zeke, the emotions on how Red felt of missing out on the first 15 years of their life made my heart melt. Cher did a great job raising Zeke and all that Zeke had to endure being nonbinary. Mix in Red and Cher with their rekindling flame of feelings and raising a child along with MC drama of someone’s vengeance against Satan’s Devils and you have one wild ride of a book that was hard to put down! Such an awesome book!

This was a great sequel! This book picked up right where Red’s Peril Part one left off. This was a great continuation of Red’s and Cheryl’s story of finding love and staying together and I loved the ending. Definitely could be some triggers for people so be wary when picking this up. I’ve said it before about this series and I’ll say it again, each story (this one included) takes you on a journey that is usually action packed and can be emotional. Each book just keeps getting better and better to me and this one was so exception. Kudos to the author and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

This was a really good book! This was probably the most interesting of the series I’ve read so far because the author went back and we got to see how Red became a president of an MC and it actually showed a lot of backstory. Like most (if not all) of the books in Satan’s Devils series this book was emotional, dark with some opportune humor thrown in there. I absolutely love this MC series and this book was no exception! This book does end on a cliffhanger, as it is part one of a two part story.

Intense, dramatic, and one hell of a great suspense read! The characters are intense and brooding. You can just feel the emotions that come off them. Lazarus just sends off what he feels for Sasha. You feel everything. The plot just grabs you and keeps you engaged and not wanting to leave. This author is another of my favorite. Her books are very engaging. This series has been one of my favorites to read. I definitely recommend you get out and give this one a shot. You won’t be disappointed if you like action, suspense and romance. I’d give it more than a 5 if I could.

This is part 2 of Red’s story and to really get the full effect of the story line you need to read Red’s Peril part 1. Being left with a cliffhanger in part 1, I couldn’t wait to read part 2, and it did not disappoint. The Satan’s Devils family has grown on me and each and every story is special in their own right, while including past characters to keep them involved in the story line. Red begins to romance Cher to prove to her that they belong together after their chance encounter and you get to watch the MC family envelope this newcomer into the fold as if she has belonged there all along. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for the next Satan’s Devils book.

This book was really cute! My favorite thing to look for when I read something is relationships between characters. This author wrote them so well! There was individual growth and just seeing the relationship itself build was what kept me reading! The shared history followed by such different journeys to that point in their lives was just so relatable! Everyone gets to adulthood and stability in different paths, and that was illustrated beautifully in the story. I adore the way the author writes and am excited to see what else they have!

I love this series of MC books. Red is such a sweet man with a tough exterior (he has to be tough to be prez for the MC). It was great to see him get his HEA, he deserves it so much. I love how this author writes and how she approaches different real issues. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, I loved how a non-binary teenager was portrayed. We were given explanations without being talked down to. It made this momma’s heart soar. Red and Cher are also older, but that doesn’t mean they are any less randy or sexy than the younger people.

So, I usually don’t grab books like these and read them but after reading book one, I honestly could not wait for this one to come out. And once again I was not disappointed. Red finding his love again and it was like nothing changed was incredible. the situations that come up and the way Red handles everything is amazing. There was one part that at first, I was thinking oh this is going to happen this way, but it did really caught me off guard, and I loved it. It kept me wanting to read more and very entertaining. I honestly hope there is more to this story then what there is. The one thing I do have to say is one of the people in there is binary, so they use the term they and them which I had to stop and think for a second because I have never had to use these terms yet. I love how these types of gender and identifications are in this book. It was great to actually learn about the way they are and what they mean. Great book and amazing read. so entertaining, kept me on the edge of me seat wanting more.

Red has to be my favorite character by this author. Red’s story and his unexpected storyline kept me turning page after page, finishing this story in one day! I love that the characters from other SD Chapters were able to make an appearance. I also love the new characters we are introduced to in this story, ESPECIALLY Zeke!
I love that Cher and Red are older characters and that this author kept them as sexy as ever! I love that Cher didn’t jump right into the MC but took her own time in deciding what was best for her and those she loves the most. I don’t think there is anything I didn’t like! If I had to be a part of an MC world, I would so choose Satan’s Devils!

Wow this was definitely worth the wait. I have read many books by this author and once again I was not let down. I like how all the books compliment one another and how each series mixes with the other. I like how there is a perfect balance of drama and romance. The characters are very well written and realistic.
I like how Cher and Red have ups and downs. The fact that Cher has doubts really adds to the book as it isn’t straight forward in real life so the fact that the author has used this makes so it isn’t predictable. I also like how the series cross over and that enhances the series. I very much look forward to reading more from this author and series in future.

A unique and beautiful tale that has all the right ingredients to make you fall in love with the characters. It is steeped in Maori myths and folklore, and a little magic and traditional Maori dishes to make your mouth water. The author paints a vivid and enchanting picture that is easily imagined. Mysterious and dangerous secrets have long reaching consequences that haunt the beautiful Ember so is she ready to share this with the man fate has brought in to her life. An historical romance story set in the 17th century Poland. The author has clearly researched this period of time and the history of that time and the Hussars that has been woven into the story is interesting. This is the first book in this duo and it ends on a cliffy so there are many things left unanswered but I am sure will be tied up in the second. The characters are well written and it is hard not to get drawn into their lives, their emotions, their fate, their journey in a time of war. I am not a lover of historical romance but do love travelling and peeling back the layers of history so I don’t mind reading them from time to time. If I had read this by myself and reviewed it I would have given it 4 stars, because I wouldn’t have thought the kids would have really gotten this or would stay interested. I was completely wrong. I picked this up because I had 3 of my grands with me for a few days the week of Thanksgiving. They are ages 10 and 11. We read this together taking turns and they completely got it, and enjoyed it. It broke off into conversations and questions and how to apply this book in their own lives. I was blown away and completely impressed with how this book touched them.
This was a great book for teaching children the meaning of finding good in all things, especially themselves.
I loved the time with the kids reading this, and would recommend it highly!

I wasn’t sure about Caspian at first, like most I like a bad boy. But something about a spoiled brat bad boy who turns out to be a sweetheart gets me every time. I ran through this book while recovering from my booster shot and let me tell you my eyes were burning from me fighting to finish this book as soon as possible. I wasn’t totally digging Paisley’s vibe in the beginning but I warmed up to her fast.

What a fantastic book!! It features some amazing descriptions on how it is to have no sight. Although lacking sight the author uses her other senses to move through the wonderful world. If we couldn’t describe what we see we could use other senses and this is masterfully done. This is so relevant to our world today. What a valuable insight on how to love the world through other means while not being able to see it.
This is the second part of Red’s story and after reading the first part I was so desperate to see how this story and Red’s and Cheryl story would pan out. The author does an amazing job handling subjects such as Red’s son being non-binary. This subject is handled in an open and honest way and shows both sides such as the support but also the negative reaction that people can face.
From the first book the connection between them was electric and after the reconnected all these years later the feelings haven’t changed. However they both need to relearn and get to know each other all over again. And its not just them. Red needs to learn how to juggle being the president of an MC with being a dad and Cher needs to learn about his life and his club and figure if there is a place for her and their son in it. With both of them having very different lives now can they work through it all and make their relationship work this time? Will Red finally get the family and the woman he has always loved? Or will the club cause a wedge between them that becomes unfixable.
