To say this book is interesting would be an understatement. This book was amazing! This book was unlike her other novels. This story took her writing to a whole new level. This author incorporates people from different races, genders and sexual preferences into her stories. I loved the fact that there was a non binary character in this book. I absolutely adored Zeke! He had such a strength of character with all that he had to endure. I admit that I do t know much about this topic but this book has opened my eyes and helped me to understand a whole other aspect to the human race. I think this is an excellent sequel to the first part. This author amazes me with every book that I read from her.

I don’t have a lot of experience around motorcycle clubs as the only one local in my area is all veterans. They are all very respectful and wouldn’t use harsh language in front of a lady. This novel is chalked full of atrocious language and I really feel that without the “F” word every two sentences the story would have flowed much more steadily.
The storyline itself follows Red who is Prez of his motorcycle club and Cheryl the woman he left behind some 15 years ago. Red finds out he is a dad to a non binary child named Zeke and he proceeds to be super understanding and tries his best to make the best out of what could potentially be a chaotic situation. I really appreciated the authors attention to detail and the way the characters were written. The storyline was mainly character driven and does get a bit steamy. Ok it gets a lot steamy!! Better read this one in a walk in freezer.

I have to say reading the title and blurb I thought I knew what this book would offer me, I think that is the right word, and I was excited to read it as it was subject matter I have always wanted to look into more. Anyway I was so surprised to find it really offered so much more than I originally expected. I now have a lot of things to think about and process.

I have been waiting impatiently for this latest novel in the ‘Satan’s Devils MC’ series having been left with a real cliffhanger at the end of Part One, well I was definitely not disappointed with this second part of Red’s story. Part Two carried on seamlessly from the ending of the previous book so I would recommend reading them in order. This is the Prez of the ‘Vegas Chapter’, Red’s story along with Cher, the women who got away, and Zeke, his fifteen year old child, which he knew nothing about. Not only does Red want a relationship with Zeke but he also wants one with Cher, as he has never forgotten her and no other women has been her equal. Cher has also compared all men to Red and never stopped wondering what would have happened if she had not left him all those years ago. However, finding out that the young man she knew is now the Prez of the ‘Satan’s Devils MC’ has her wondering if she really knew him at all. Whilst getting to know Zeke and spending time with Cher, Red also has the demands of the Club to deal with.

Red wants both his MC family and his other family, but Cher is not convinced that she is ‘old lady’ material. Red also has to come to terms with the fact that Zeke recognises as being non-binary, and some of his MC are not happy. This is another fantastic MC novel by the author and as usual it is wonderfully written and the descriptive narrative brings the characters and the setting to life, making me feel immersed in the ‘Satan’s Devils’ world. I loved Red, Cher and Zeke and enjoyed seeing their relationships develop throughout this story. The storyline is fast paced and full of drama, suspense and romance with plenty of plot twists which had me hooked from start to finish. I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading this novel and was impressed how the author has included the issues surrounding individuals who are non-binary, and thought this was dealt with sensitively. This was an exciting, enjoyable and engaging read, and having read this in almost one sitting, as I literally could not put it down, I will now have to eagerly wait for the next book in the series!

I thought this book was a sweet, touching story that really will help children, and adults, to think about greatness and how to find it. It was an easy book to read but also quite thought provoking – a great way to get children thinking in more detail about the little things in life.
This wouldn’t be my usually type of read but I definitely enjoyed it. And although my kids are both too young for it I will definitely be keeping it in mind for when they are older. This is a lovely and well written story.

After reading part one of this series I could not wait to get my hands on this book. And let me tell you I was not disappointed! This was such an incredible follow on and really cemented the fact that for me Red is definitely my favourite character so far. I loved that we got to see how this all played out for the characters and thought the author did such a great job at rounding out their story. This is an utterly fantastic book and I juat cannot recommend highly enough.

After reading the first book of this series, I was not disappointed by the second. I loved everything about it. I loved that you as the reader got insight as to what Cher was thinking. Don’t get me wrong, I love Red’s perspective. But, I will never baulk at a second point of view. THEN, something I never expected.. a THIRD perspective! I won’t say who it is so I don’t ruin the surprise, but you will not be upset about it.

I did not realize how many books I am missing out on by this author! I have some catching up to do. The author writes outstanding novels and I cannot wait to get my hands on more.

This is yet another ☆☆☆☆☆ star read. You get sucked into the first part of this series. Leaving you to wonder and waiting for part 2. Well I could not wait any longer. As predicted. This author did not disappoint. Her story was not only intense. For me there was yet another aspect of life I had no clue about. The characters are a well rounded group of men and women. Red being the Prez of this MC always puts his family first. Char included, Char is about to reconnect with Red, but is she ready? Is Red ready to have his life changed, for the better? This is a fast moving rollercoaster of emotions. Get out the chocolate, tissues and whatever else you need. This is going to keep you locked in place. I absolutely love this MC series. I recommend you start the series with book one. Become friends with all the men of Satan’s Devils.

The second book in this series and it definitely did not disappoint! Drummer and Sam’s story is probably one of my favourites by this author! I was swept up in it straight away and I was really disappointed when it finished! I love the family feel of these MC stories – they are so important to each other and the bond they have is great! They really do protect each other and when you become a lady of an MC Brother you know you are theirs for life! Sam and Drummer may have had their troubles being together but, in my opinion, they were the perfect match!! The narration of the audio book was perfect and they really did bring the authors words to life.

Wow is all I can say. This book is definitely my favourite by this author so far. I have been a huge fan of this author for a few years now and have absolutely loved every book of theirs that I have read but due to a very personal reason this just has to be my personal favourite. I won’t mention why as this may be a spoiler and I wouldn’t want to spoil anything for anyone intending to read this. One thing I will say is that I love that this author tackles such issues and is such an advocate of diversity and inclusion.
This is the 2nd part of Red’s story and I absolutely loved reading Red and Cher’s story. After reading the first book I was desperate to find out how their story would pan out and I was not disappointed. I’m totally in awe of how this author creates all these amazing biker guys and as well as writing amazing romance stories for them, also adds great accompanying storylines to run alongside the romance aspect. I’ve no idea how she keeps track of all of them and their back stories.
If you love reading about MC’s and enjoy a good romance story that’s also filled with drama and danger then this book (and the first part of this story) should be right up there at the top of your list.

Having read books by this author previously I thought I would give an audio book a try and overall, I really enjoyed the story. It was a long listen I will admit but it actually went really quickly because I was so absorbed in the story. The narration was really good and pleasant to listen to. The story is quite complex but being able to listen to it actually really helped me imagine what was going on. I really liked the characters and the storyline was magical and creative.

Overall, a fantastic audio book and one that I would highly recommend! I look forward to the next one!

I feel like I got to know the characters a bit more in this book and enjoyed the introduction of some new ones also. The story is really beautifully written and I loved that Red finally got his HEA! There were a few different themes in this story which were explored and written about really well. I think this was probably one of my favourite books by this author. I really felt something deeper with the characters,
A wonderful read that fully deserves 5 stars if not more!

This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed. This is an adventure story about Jacek and hidden secrets that could mean survival. This is a well written story that is full of action and the characters kept the story engaging. They are connectable and made the story hard to put down. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the author’s use of details to make the story come to life. Jacek just wants to be acknowledged for his valor. He finds himself saving two innocent people from being killed. What he doesn’t realize is the great consequences that could change things for him. What happens next, you will need to read this book and you don’t want to miss it. This is a great story that had me turning pages fast just to see what was going to happen next. I highly recommend this book. It is worth the pick up.

This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading part one before this one as well as the previous books in this series. It will help enhance your enjoyment and give background on the characters. This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up by her. Her writing style and attention to details make her stories pop. They pull you into the story from the first word. This book is no different. I loved being pulled into the story by the characters. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. This is a fast paced story that is full of action and steamy bikers. I enjoyed the growth of the characters as well as the plot throughout the story. The chemistry with the characters is strong and the secondary characters are supportive. This is a must read story that I highly recommend.

This is part two of Reds story, and honestly its such a compelling story, the first part kicked off with a bang, creating strife and complexity and wrapping you into the story. This brings to life so much more than you think, I didn’t always like everyone in the first story, but this one brings them to life more. It fills everything in and gives you a deeper story. This author will bring you to the brink of your emotional toil and then leave you wanting more.

Oh my! What a wonderful Christmas story. My oldest is out of the believing in Santa stage, and my 2 younger ones still believe in Santa. I haven’t read it to them for this reason. But now I have the perfect story to read to them when they get to the questioning stage. This book did such a great job answering, “Is Santa real?” while still keeping the magic alive. I’d like my kids to believe as long as possible, but also can’t wait to share this with them.

This was a truly great children’s book with a heartwarming story filled with some great lessons. I highly recommend that all school children read this book. I am a crazy cat lady so the fact that this story was about a cat really tugged at my heart strings. I love that it teaches children to find greatness not only in themselves but in everyone. I also loved the important meaning that we all belong that was taught in this story. I loved the illustrations that were included but thought that they could have been more detailed especially for younger readers to understand the story. They just felt too generic in my opinion. Overall, I loved this story and the meaning behind it. It would be nice to have this book read in all head start or primary aged classrooms.

Strega: Magic: The Spirit Never Dies is a magical story of the legacy of family and love. I was excited to pick up a new book by this author. I was not disappointed. I have really enjoyed her other books but this was a different type of style for her. The links between the different time periods and how this forms the legacy of the main character kept me intrigued and wanting more. There was a variety of emotions entwined with magical elements. The story is beautiful and reminded me of books by Alice Hoffman. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Drummer’s Beat (Satan’s Devils MC #2) AUDIO BOOK by Manda Mellett

5 out of 5 Stars

I am in love with this series and these characters.

Drummer, the MC’s president, has a good life.  He has the club, access to all the sweet butts he wants, his bike and his responsibilities as prez.  He has watched other club members get attached to an old lady, but he doesn’t understand the desire to be with only one person forever.  That is until he meets Sam.

Samantha, Sam, has just lost everything that matters to her except her vintage motorcycle.  Sam is dealing with the grief of losing her mother.  On her deathbed, Sam’s mom finally told Sam who her father is.  Sam has set out to find him.  He just happens to be in the MC.

When Sam arrives at the MC looking for her father, the first thing anyone notices is the bike.  It is vintage.  It is classic.  It breaks easily.  And, with her luck, it breaks in a non-easily fixable way.  So Sam is stuck at the MC waiting for a part to get back on the road after the meeting with her father didn’t go the way she had hoped.  It is important for her to get back on the road as her attraction to Drummer is growing.

When Drummer finds out that Sam is being stalked by a ruthless human trafficking ring, he agrees to protect Sam and help bring down the ring.  Sam agrees to help but there are so many ways this could go wrong.

The action is fantastic.  The steam is hot!  The family is deep and the ties that bind this MC together are stronger than ever.  I don’t know whose story is next but I will be there!

This sequel was off the tops of being amazing. I loved the previous novel, of reading about Red’s story and how he came to be, but this one gave me more insight and I was blown away at times, and as always the writing is off the wall amazing!
I wanted so badly to see Red end up with the one he loved dearly in the first one. Things didn’t go as I anticipated in this one, but that is truly what made this one as realistic as it was. First meets can lead to second chances sometimes, or maybe if you turn the corner you will find something you never knew that could be very much what was possibly meant for you all along! The story was engaging as the first. My opinion of Red is the same, he is still a  sweetheart, and a wonderful character to the book as well as this series!
I loved how Red is someone who cna love easily, be it with himself (maybe not 100% all the time), but also with his family which is the family that he helped contribute to make, or with the woman he cares for with his heart. This book was beautiful, and Red and his story of becoming truly came to light for me. I was exceptionally happy and impressed while reading this story. It was amazing and perfect in every way! Couldn’t ask for more!
I love this author and the books they write truly with all my heart. The story of Red and how he became who he was, certainly has t be one of my favorites though. I say that this book is a must read for sure, honestly amazing book, seriously read it!

This book is a timeless tale of the time in a child’s life when they are caught between whether they should believe in Santa Claus or not. When Lucas’ friends tell him there is no such thing as Santa Claus Lucas asks his mom if Santa Claus is real. His mom lets him in on a secret and gives him the opportunity to be a Dream Keeper. But is Lucas ready for such an important job?

This book was wonderfully written, beautifully illustrated and does a beautiful job of describing the true magic of Christmas. This is a book that pulls at your heart strings and conjures up fond childhood memories of Christmas as a child when Santa was very much real, and the magic of the Christmas season was all around us. I could smell the gingerbread baking in the kitchen, hear the Christmas songs and was right there stringing popcorn. This book is sure to become a Christmas classic!

This was an eye-opening story. The author used the second half of Red’s story to introduce new characters. After a bit of a shock and a lot of getting used to, I can understand why she did. The new characters were a good addition. One character will through the story off a tad. The plot gets a little choppy. The plot is original and teaches a truly wonderful lesson. It comes as a surprise because you don’t really expect it in an MC romance. The author delivers her fantastic storytelling skills and ability to change the world one book at a time. Give the book a shot. I really, really recommend you do. Read the acknowledgments at the end also. You just may come away feeling you learned something new. Wonderfully done!

This story was amazing, from start to finish truly. I could not get enough of this wonderful, well written novel. The story gave a lot to myself as the reader, it was very easy to envision and I felt at times I was living through the story along with the characters, it was one that surely shouldn’t be missed for a read!

I loved this story, as realistic as it was it was nothing short of giving epic exposure, and characters you could not help, but truly love. The story gave much excitement and a adventure that to me was unlike any other. A lot was happening at times, that only lead onto the next it seems! All made the story and the contrast along with the characters what it was, amazing read, and truly a mind sweeping novel!

A strong appeal I had from this book, was the historical side. It made me feel as if I was alive in that time frame or time line. The visions my mind was able to create from reading, was truly amazing. The characters nicely added to, there was emotions I felt as I read about them, and they truly filled my heart with thoughts and feelings as I read. It was a beautiful novel, that I did not want to let go of! I certainly will be reading the next installment, and I can not wait to see what unfolds in the next one!

If your someone who wants a grand adventure, and beautifully fine detail, then I know you will love this one. The author is truly very gifted with their writing, and they really made the story and the plot come to life in different ways! I loved this story so much! Read it! Its a super high recommendation from me!

Dead Sound (Things Unseen, #1)Dead Sound by Anise Eden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This novel, was amazing from start to finish! I had read other works by this gifted author, but this one truly had me under its spell. I was hooked and even rattled at times, I could not find a reason to put it down, one more chapter always turned into, well, I need more answers, it was so darn good!\

There was a lot of appeal for me and this novel. I found it haunting at times with a suspense that kept on building as I had read on through! Honestly I did not expect how much it had made a clear mind think, there was things that came to question I would not get normally in a suspenseful novel. I did very much welcome it though! This was a suspenseful thriller set to do with politicians, that was unlike any other!

Neve was wonderful, her characterization was through the roof of being exceptional! I really connected with her, in ways more less that one would not think or believe. The supporting characters were wonderful as well, and a true aid to the story. The whole plot was gripping, and watching it unfold, well it was better and more shocking than I had even hoped for! This was extremely well done!

I could not honestly get enough of this book. The story keeps you in suspense, and the romantic side was a very nice realistic touch as well. It was just so good, I could not put it down, in the sense of , I kept wanting more! I highly recommend this suspenseful thriller, seriously, not one to be past up!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book, very quickly became one of my personal favorites, the story I guess you cay say comes within pieces as if they are fragments, each one seemed to be more crucial than the last. The story was weaved so well, and everything was full of adventure and reason at the same time! Loved this story!

I have always been a historian at heart. I always believed strongly that what the past is shapes us in todays world. This book was about answers of the past, and what was, what came to be, what we are now. This book constantly made me think! I was sucked into it completely and mesmerized!

Anna was a character that was true after her own heart. She wanted answers for things of the [past and sought them out, she finds some things of the past that was never suspected, and each finding led to the next, in the end it truly was a gripping story! I truly loved the anticipation that this novel brought!

The book had its own suspense, and it was certainly very well written! I could not get enough of Anna and the truths she had learned of her family’s legacy. Again the findings and what happens through out the book, really make you think and reflect on your own life! Beautifully done, highly recommend this one!

My oldest isn’t quite at the “Is Santa real stage”. I want him to believe as long as possible but this book is such a cute way to address the question when it comes. The idea of dream keepers is a very cute way to keep the hope and Christmas spirit alive. The illustrations were great as well!!

I definitely recommend this book for those kids that are approaching the age they may not believe in Santa anymore. This will definitely give them hope.
