Marina Hanna pulls you in immediately with her style of writing and ability to build a story. Likeable and relatable characters, modern day stories and situations, wicked sense of humor.
The story opens after a one night stand between Mark and Lauren, and the chemistry is sizzling from the first page! There is sexiness, fun and flirtation, a touch of drama, and so much more. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

This book had me at Christmas. Liberty and Sawyer are both workaholics. She’s a reporter trying to find out the secret Santa and he’s on her list to interview. I love the attraction between the two but can they make it work? This was a great read and perfect to get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season. I haven’t read any other books in this series but I may have to!

A great mystery with loads of suspense. Lauren is reporting on the biggest murder trial of her career. Lauren starts to believe that the person on trial is not the real culprit. She decides that she must get to the bottom of the murder. And then when a second murder occurs Lauren realizes she was right but will it be too late.

I absolutely loved everything about this book. A perfect fit of this genre. The sweet building romance, the large loving family and holiday traditions both open and secret. Sawyer and Liberty had great chemistry. How could you not fall in love with Sawyer? He is thoughtful considerations and ability to assimilate into the Johnson family despite his tragic history was beautifully crafted. I am so glad with how the ending transpired. I definitely will be reading the other books in this series when it gets closer to December. This book was a cozy, holiday romance perfect for those that love this genre.

Come back tomorrow by Amy Argent is book one in the Embrace Tomorrow series. Main characters Will and Tori present a story of two people meeting at just the right time and about how the people you meet can impact your life in the best ways. I was sobbing by the end. It’s a story filled with sadness, yet also filled with hope. A must read for a good book cry day.

As an adult I really enjoyed this children’s book. The story of the whales in distress and the other sea animals signaling for help and working together was heartwarming. It was sweet that every whale had their own name. Then end is nice for both children and adults, it breaks down what each term means, and then give a brief description of that term. I didn’t know what a Fluke was, now I do and although it seems like something I may never use, it is nice knowledge to have, it is something I won’t forget. Then the book goes into describing the different sea animals and other sea terms such as the coral reef, mangroves, Whitetip shark etc. It is nice to see that some countries are trying to do their part in keeping things like mangroves alive and thriving. It is also sad to learn of the Virus that effects marine mammals, and honestly I had no idea it even existed. Overall would recommend for any family to read together, this book has a wealth of knowledge and is very easy and fun to read.
Ashes of Aldyr is the first book in the Obscured Throne Trilogy. There is everything you could ask for in this book! Elves, dwarves, humans, etc. When I read the synopsis, I was expecting a Lord of the Rings vibe to it. It was not what I expected but it did not disappoint! Even after reading the into chapter I was hooked!
I love reading fantasy but not so much horror. This book has both elements but was written in such a way that I loved everything even the horror aspect.
Russell Archey has a way with words. The book was very descriptive and well written. I could not put the book down! The way the author described the evil, you’d think they were evil as well. I found my heart was beating harder and I could not stop reading. I cannot wait to read the other two books in the trilogy! Highly recommend!

I love a good holiday book and this one did not disappoint. This is the first book I have read in the series and I now NEED to go back and read the others! Liberty is an investigative reporter and is looking for Maine’s Secret Santa. She meets Sawyer Campbell, who owns and runs a huge technology company and she thinks he may be the Secret Santa. The story is light, fun, romantic, and funny. I loved every character in the book and I want to sit down for family dinners at the Johnson house.
Mr. Russell Archey is a new author to my growing list of favorite authors. This book is a fantasy book but it is on the dark side of fantasy. The attention to detail really makes this book stand out for me. It has all types of characters in the story. There are magical trees, elf-kind, humans, and some nasty god-like characters. I felt like I was one of the characters in the book. The adventure that I went on was one of dark arts. It held my attention with each passing page. The storyline has many levels throughout the book but Mr. Archey does an amazing job of keeping it all straight for me.I highly recommend reading this book as it is an amazing journey. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

I’ve been excited for this book so let’s dive into another of Manda’s world. Finding out about Red’s past is very eye opening. Learning from his POV and what led him to the club brings him to a new light. He’s been through so much that man. Learning the background of the clubs is extremely interesting especially as we know a canny bit about the Tuscon Chapter of the Santan Devils. I didn’t realise how Red had it so much and how quick things changed for him I can’t wait to read the rest of. A bit of laughter but so many tears brought by this book.

This book teaches while going on a nice jounery with Dolphins, Sharks, Dolphin riders who happen to be protectors and plenty of slim chances for the Dolphins where it gets to be turns around each time. In the glossary a slew of knowledge is given about the ocean and the words used through out the book. Even though this book is fictional is it knowledgeable and teaches children words and verbiage while having them trek on a perilous journey.
This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite by her yet. This is a great holiday story that is written with a lot of heart and spirit. This is a romance story that kept me engaged to the end. This is a fast paced story where the characters are not only relatable but they also gave life to the story. This is a well written story that pulled in me from the beginning. This is a story about Liberty and Sawyer. She is one case away from getting a big promotion. She is in search of a Secret Santa. She has her list down to a couple possibilities and Sawyer just happens to be one of them. As the holiday approaches she is left with a decision, should she follow her lead or her heart? I enjoyed their chemistry and what they brought to the story. They made the story fun and entertaining to read. This is a great holiday story that will put you in the mood for the coming holidays. I highly recommend this book.
Another book in the Broderick Coven Series this book main focus is Vanessa and Carter. The writing is impeccable and the flow of the story just hits right, you feel a connect to the characters straight away. Carter a gifted healer he’s such a lovely soul. Vanessa a career driven lady with a hell of compassion and a brain to boot. Just read and see.

This is the second book in this series which is just as great as the first book. I highly suggest reading the first book as well to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that has characters that not only bring the story to life but also keep the story engaging. This is a fast paced military romance story. I had a hard time putting it down as it was just as entertaining. This is about Derek and Julia. All he ever wanted was to save the world which led him to join the Resistance. She wanted no part of this world until she meets him. She has a past but will it resurface when she is faced with a chance at love? What happens next I highly recommend reading this book, you don’t want to miss it. This is a great story that I truly enjoyed. Action and romance, what more could you want in a book. Worth the pick up.

Another great book to add to the Broderick Coven Series. Reene has done great at her descriptive work and bringing all these creatures and this world into a bright shining light. Edward and Mia are the main character in this book Edward is absolutely amazing he has great intuition. Mia is a neglected young lady by her parents but yet so strong.

This is a beautiful festive romance. I really loved how the author creates the scene and her descriptions and character building is amazing. Both our character are completely loveable and both from different ends of the track.
Liberty is a journalist who is career focused and driven to succeed. With her career as a journalist and her family she doesn’t have time for dating. She’s now on the hunt for the secret Santa Claus that keeps making huge donations. When she goes to interview one suspected person she doesn’t expect to feel the spark and connection between them.
Sawyer is a successful businessman. His family life is non existant so he throws himself into his work. Dating is never on his agenda until he meet Liberty and all he wants to do is make room for her in his life.
As their connection grows and they get closer they both make sacrifices with their work. Will Liberty make the ultimate sacrifice of not running her breaking story for the sake of being with the man she love or will her feelings for Sawyer not matter in her pursuit for the big break.
Red’s Peril Part 1: The making of an MC Prez by Manda Mellett is part of the Satan’s Devils MC Las Vegas Chapter. This is a book I have been waiting for since Red was first mentioned and I was definitely not disappointed. I loved this story from the moment I started reading. I was hooked on Red and his story. He is one of those characters that is so easy to connect with . I wanted e eruthing to work out for him because of the journey he had already been on. The story was fast paced and gripping. Thus is definitely one of my favourite books by this author, although I’m sure I say that about most if her books. I cannot wait for part 2! Snowflakes and Stockings by Marianne Rice is the fourth book in the A Wilton Hills Christmas series. This is a sweet romantic story that has a great connection between the characters. The characters instantly get on with each other despite the differences between them. It makes for a compelling read watching them figure out their relationship. This is the first book I have read in this series it has definitely made me want to read the rest. This is a great holiday romance that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This was an incredibly romantic and comforting romance read! This is the first book by this author that I’ve read so I can honestly say that this book can be read as a standalone as I had no problem jumping into this one, but now that I’ve read this one, I am really looking forward to starting this series from the beginning.
This was a great heartwarming, sweet, witty romance, the characters were so easy to relate too which helped keep me captivated and intrigued the whole way through.
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next cozy romance read!

I’m such a mess when it comes to sappy, snow covered love stories, such as this one. I am one of those girls that sits down with Hallmark movies on repeat, binge watch sappy chick flicks, and soak up any fast-paced romance novel I can get my hands on. Snowflakes and Stockings by Marianne Rice falls into this category, and I read this book from start to finish this past Saturday. It was rainy (unfortunately not snowy,) and gloomy and I sat by my fire and read. I laughed, teared up, and felt my heart warm throughout Liberty and Sawyers relationship, along with their respective families.
I completely understand the craziness that big families bring to the holidays, and was swept up in all the feels, and memories that this novel brought forward. Because of COVID-19, our family hasn’t had the chance to have a big gathering in what seems like forever, and it was nice to live vicariously through the Johnson family. I will certainly be picking up the rest of the Wilton Hills Christmas Book series, and am sure will be reading lots more by Ms. Rice. Thank you for this Hallmark worthy read, have recommended already!

This is the fourth book in this series that I have read and just as with the previous books, I was in love with this one as well. I want this type of Christmas to happen to me. Just once. However, this makes me feel like I am getting just that experience. I loved that the main characters both experienced different upbrings regarding their families and how they celebrate the holidays. I felt like this made their stories that much more meaningful, especially considering they are both complete opposites but one in the same. I love reading Christmas stories before the holidays as they really start to put me into the season. I look forward to reading more of these books.
We enter into the final part of our trilogy. And if you haven’t read the first two, what are you waiting for?! We are with our wonderful group with Lucy and Marcus not to mention Dylan and Selima.
In this ending part of our trilogy we know that Jude is gone and Lucy is really having a hard time with this. Not to mention Lucifer is walking free. Which is mentioned quite a few times as where Lucy got her namesake from.
This was a perfect wrap up to our series. I am looking forward to more books by Pauline Gruber!!

I have never heard of this author before, but after reading the synopsis I decided to give it a go. It’s definitely a quick read that took just under two hours to read cover to cover.
This book pulls you in right from the start with action and maintains that perfect pace from start to finish. The characters are well thought out and the scene description makes it feel like you’re right there with the characters.
We start out with Serena having to take over nanny duties for the elven princess orphan whose parents were murdered. She runs into trouble as soon as the shadows close in. Add to that toddler tantrums with severe weather phenomenon and that spells a recipe for disaster. What about Peder? Can Serena trust him with her secrets or does he have to many secrets of his own? Can the guild figure out who killed the elven rulers while defending the heir to the throne? You’ll have to read this book to answer those questions. Having just finished this book myself I want to read them all so I don’t miss a thing in this enchanted world!

Snowflakes & Stockings (A Wilton Hills Christmas Book 4) by Marianne Rice
5 Stars
This is my first Christmas Book of 2021. I always read as many as I can every year and I’m so glad this was my first. I love when a relationship takes time to build and when there’s obstacles along the way. I enjoyed the investigative part as well and thought it added an interesting twist to the story.
I loved both Liberty and Sawyer and watching the Christmas Spirit work throughout this story put me in holiday mode and I highly recommend picking this one up.
This is my first book by this author and it seems to be a complete standalone even as its book 4 in the series. I will definitely be going back and grabbing the others!
Snowflakes and Stockings is book four in the Wilton Hills Christmas series by Marianne Rice. This story was well presented and thought out. The characters are solid and very entertaining. The story flows along nicely and it was very easy to forget the world and escape reality for a little while. Mystery, mayhem and excitement seemed to follow Liberty and she was so easy to like. Her personality was endearing and her tenacity and determination, and her love for her loud family was immeasurable. Sawyer was a little harder to get to know. He definitely was the bigger mystery. It was honestly a real pleasure to pick at his personality and idiosyncrasies. The romance between them was spicy and hot. Chemistry was at an all time high and I found I had trouble putting this one down. An edgy entertainer filled with laughs and healthy tension. 4 stars.
5 Stars Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 1) by Amy Argent Come Back Tomorrow is the first book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet by Amy Argent. Oh my word this absolutely wrecked me. My heart shredded with this story and at times I was reading through tears. Fair warning have some kleenex close by you will definitely need them. Will and Tori’s story will take you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride with some anger, and a little denial thrown in. She’s a Clinical Psychologist and helps terminally ill patients through the last stages of their lives. She found herself getting attached even when she tried to convince herself otherwise. Will is a young terminally ill patient who just wants to die. He’s given up hope. From the first moment he met her he thought she was an angel. She puts her heart on the line and every her feelings grow more and more. Although this is a sad story there really are some very sweet moments. Will tries to push her away like he pretty did with his family and friends but she’s not that easy to get rid of. Let me just say this I’ve been in health care for a long time and have had situations like this one (not feelings romantically for patient) where there is no family and as much as they fight they really are happy you’re there. No one should be alone.I highly recommend reading this book with some kleenex close by and I can’t wait to see how this ends. Although this is the authors debut I’m a fan already and look forward to reading more from her.

Come Back Tomorrow by Amy Argent is book one of the Embrace Tomorrow duet.
Will Everson has terminal cancer. He’s made peace with that. He’s had a number of rounds of chemo all which were unsuccessful. His last decision, a DNR. It gives him the power to choose what happens to him. Tori is a psychologist who works with terminally ill patients. She visits Will on an effort to Matt patients that have no visitors. After meeting Will, she really digs in to understand his decision for the DNR. She thinks Will should have hope that things will get better. Feelings develop between Will and Tori but there is a tough road ahead. What will happen in book two?
While I appreciate that Tori’s feelings for Will are why she encourages him to choose the feeding tube and other measures, I didn’t like that she kind of pushed him to change his mind. Love means you support their decisions. I did enjoy the characters though and the story is heart wrenching. It really pulls you in and makes you hope even when it seems like you shouldn’t. I can’t wait to see what book two has in store.

When she’s not writing, Belinda is a music lover who sings lead vocals in cover bands, and her eclectic taste forms the foundation for many of her writing ideas.
Her other love is the water. She can often be found counting laps instead of words at her local swimming pool. Or you might also spot her boating on the harbour with her husband and son in her home town of Sydney, Australia.
