Snowflakes & Stockings (A Wilton Hills Christmas Book 4) by Marianne Rice – Review by Amy Brennan

Snowflakes & Stockings (A Wilton Hills Christmas, #4)Snowflakes & Stockings by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m such a mess when it comes to sappy, snow covered love stories, such as this one. I am one of those girls that sits down with Hallmark movies on repeat, binge watch sappy chick flicks, and soak up any fast-paced romance novel I can get my hands on. Snowflakes and Stockings by Marianne Rice falls into this category, and I read this book from start to finish this past Saturday. It was rainy (unfortunately not snowy,) and gloomy and I sat by my fire and read. I laughed, teared up, and felt my heart warm throughout Liberty and Sawyers relationship, along with their respective families.

I completely understand the craziness that big families bring to the holidays, and was swept up in all the feels, and memories that this novel brought forward. Because of COVID-19, our family hasn’t had the chance to have a big gathering in what seems like forever, and it was nice to live vicariously through the Johnson family. I will certainly be picking up the rest of the Wilton Hills Christmas Book series, and am sure will be reading lots more by Ms. Rice. Thank you for this Hallmark worthy read, have recommended already!
