Good Ending
This is the last book of the Diamond Doms Series. This book was a really good end to the series. I’ve read the previous books and fell in love with them and all the relationships along the way. This book showed a great side of Russell but I wish there was more from Gemma. I will say the book did wrap up any previous questions and reintroduced you to previous characters in the series.

“Kingdom of Embers: Extended Finale” (Kingdom Journals Book 1) by Tricia Copeland – Review by Jeannie Anderson

I love the worlds that Tricia Copeland fabricates, as they are pure magic. I adored the heroine, Alena, from page one, although all of the characters are extremely rich and intriguing. Alena, for only being seventeen, is an extremely mature and well rounded character. The attention to detail in the realm building process and story development is phenomenal! I cannot wait to read the next installment in Alena and Hunter’s story.

Cursed Luck (Broderick Coven, #5)Cursed Luck by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another fantastic addition to the Broderick Coven Series! This time we get to follow an eagerly anticipated Broderick sibling at least for me anyways! Edward Broderick has always been a more mysterious unknown in where he fits in with his powers and the extended family the Broderick Coven has grown to be. I was thrilled to learn more about him and the addition of Mia Hemlock, a FMC who’s personality absolutely speaks to me (I love her)! This may end up being a favorite of the series for me. Can’t wait to read more, I highly recommend this book!

I love this series, I love that each book can totally get away with being a stand alone read but reading them all together in order has been a true treat. Getting able to see more depth and growth within the Broderick Coven family as each book continues has been a treat for those following along. In this continuation of the series we follow Carter Broderick a doctor/healer and one of the more critical and skeptical of the Broderick Siblings since finding out about their families lines and Vanessa Rayne who meets Carter after taking her neighbor in for a nasty infected bite. Steamy and fantastic, Highly recommend this book and this series!

Wow I loved this continuation into the Broderick Coven Series! This book can be triggering so please check trigger warnings. But I absolutely loved following Max Broderick and Claudia and her daughter Katia. There were so many tender moments of healing and it felt therapeutic just to read in my opinion. I love AJ Renee’s world building and these stories surrounding the Broderick clan and this book only continued and added to my awe. Highly recommend this book!

I have had the Broderick Coven books on my TBR for an embarrassingly long time, and I finally had an opportunity to devote some devoted reading sessions to these books. So glad I made this happen because these books are everything I wanted them to be! I love a good paranormal storyline and this is really serving us some fantastic world building and plot! We follow the main characters of Ethan Broderick and Serena High Priestess of the Coven. Absolutely loved watching these two develop and grow together! Absolutely fantastic and highly recommend this series!

Love’s Refrain (A Stardust Duet Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Sarah Hammel

Love's Refrain (The Stardust Duet, #1)Love’s Refrain by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In Love’s Refrain, our main character Katherine is achieving her goal of going on tour with her musical group and returns home for two weekends of shows. A story of love, time, and hard work follows in Love Refrains and while I was at first uncomfortable with the time travel aspect because the main love interest is technically in love with Katherine when she is born, I quickly overcame this as he spends his time actively avoiding her and the family while she is growing up. The inclusion of the song they create together is touching and a wonderful moment for them both to have while they are not together. K.G. Fletcher’s writing style is very sweet and romantic as well as fitting for the scenes portrayed in the story. You can feel the sweeping lights on the stage and the glittering jewels of the performers shining in the spotlight. Absolutely cannot wait for the continuation, hopefully, of the story.

Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards # 6)Tenacious by Via Mari
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Via Mari has officially made late night reading hot again! This Billionaire Bodyguard series sits you front row center with a sexy Alpha that will make your late nights very sultry and steamy. I hate to say I’m starting a series backwards, but I do look forward to reading the other books.
Via Mari went no holds barred with this book! She gave her readers all the danger, dangerous men, suspense, intrigue, lust, action, and passion that could be thrown together.
We meet Allie and Nick who’s chemistry steams up the pages. Allie is an RN and she just goes through the motions daily trying to keep her heart numb and closed. Upon meeting Nick soo many emotions flair, but more than anything she’s scared. Nick is pure Alpha and the moment he met Allie he knew she was it, and he would prove it as a lover and protector. You wont be able to help the smile you get as you watch the love flow off the pages along with the danger and drama!

So I compare this book to fifty shades of grey with the sex scenes but this book has a way better storyline. An attraction that won’t quit with nurse/ submissive Allie and bodyguard/dominant Nick. I admire how they keep roles separate as bodyguard and when Nick’s dominating Allie. Absolutely loved this book. Was an easy and fast paced book. Finished in a day cause had me hooked.

The Guardian's Legacy (Coin of Time, #1)The Guardian’s Legacy by Luciana Cavallaro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Guardian’s Legacy, what fantastic first book, of what will be a great series. Fans of Dan Brown, will enjoy how the author tangles Greek mythology, ancient minted coins and modern day technology into a worthy adventure!
I enjoyed meeting this generation’s Guardian,
High school teacher Nik Zosimos, the author has done a great job flushing out a protagonist worthy of following into his next adventure.
In book one, Nik begins his real education, learning more than he ever thought he would from his Grandfather, and before you know it we are chasing him across Europe.
Can’t wait for Book Two in the Coin of Time Series by Luciana Cavallaro.

The Guardian's Legacy (Coin of Time, #1)The Guardian’s Legacy by Luciana Cavallaro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was so engrossing! I didn’t want to put it down! I adore the relationship between Nik and his Papou, and found it so relatable with their shared love of history, especially the history of the coin, and how they used it as a way to spend time together. The history shared in the story was fascinating and I was as captivated by it as Nik was as Papou shared. I also really love the bits and pieces the book shows of Nik’s relationships with his students. We’ve all had teachers like him, and a high school history teacher that the students clearly respect is so refreshing to see because it’s a true respect shown like it would be in real life. Nik’s trip and the people he met along the way are just another part of this book that made me not want to put it down! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The Guardian's Legacy (Coin of Time, #1)The Guardian’s Legacy by Luciana Cavallaro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A book with it all! Mystery, intrigue, escapades, gambles, exploits and time travel!! I have to admit whenever I have been asked what superpower I would have if I could have just one … 9 times out of 10 I have said time travel. This book brings that to life and the author added such rich detail that the imagery comes into your mind so clear. Nik is a great character and so well defined it was as if I have known him for a really long time. In fact all the characters are so well outlined they all become “book friends”. Luciana Cavallaro makes you truly care about her characters and has you wanting a happy ending for them.
The non stop action will have you clinging to this novel until the very end!
Nik is asked to be “guardian” of an ancient coin that has a twin. The twin has yet to be found but Nik’s grandfather thinks he may know where it is and upon traveling to Europe he disappears. Nik goes after him but ends up being chased by several organizations to which he flips the coin and ends up in a different time!
One of my favorite traits of an author is when they add historical, geological and mythological facts in their story that brings you something extra. This author does just that and in a way that makes these timeless stories new and blends them flawlessly with the tale she is telling. Overall this book gave me the great feels! I cannot wait to slip between the covers of book two!

Tenacious (Billionaire Bodyguards # 6)Tenacious by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. These two and their story is my favorite so far in the series.

Allie and Nick’s chemistry was coming off the pages. My heart would flutter right along with Allies. She was an innocent woman with a wall around her heart. Nick was the strong alpha male that was determined to keep her safe and break those walls down. The more that Nick protected her she started to see a different side to him.

Will he be able to keep her safe? Will they get a HEA?

We get suspense, action, mystery and so much more in this read. It feels like you’re getting two stories in one as we also see more about the trafficking in this story. All of the characters added a great element to the story, it was nice seeing some from previous books. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. She has quickly become one of my favorites to read. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning. Death under Palm Trees (A Jack and Frances mystery Book 4) by Carmen Radtke – Review by Desiree Ottinger

Death under Palm TreesDeath under Palm Trees by Carmen Radtke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was such a fun who-done-it mystery! While I was reading, I felt like I was actually watching a PBS/BBC period show that was set in the 1930s. Frances, Jack and Uncle Sal were supposed to be having a wonderful New Year’s celebration with Frances’ Aunt Mildred. Instead, they end up having to help solve a mystery at her house where classified papers have gone missing. Frances and Jack sign up to be “the help” while they investigate who could have done it. However, during their investigation, the crime ups to murder which puts them on a shorter timeline to solve the mystery. Can they find the papers and uncover who the murderer is before all the guests leave?

I really enjoyed the depth of the characters, the different locations they visited, and how they all worked together to develop a trap in which to catch the killer/thief. The dialogue between the characters was well thought out and drew me in to how their minds were working to solve the mystery. In the end, I was surprised who it was, but looking back it made sense!

This was a very well written book that kept my interest until the very end!

Nite Fire: Smoke & Mirrors (Book 3) AUDIO BOOK by C. L. Schneider – Review by Ashley Hasting

So to start off, I didn’t know about the first two books, but I am definitely going to go back and listen to them. CL Schneider was able to have it where I understood it all. The main Character Dahlia has a lot to uncover and work on with missing creatures of all kinds, masked men who are very flexible, and her friends sister still missing. With her human work, she investigates to find all she is looking for. This series is absolutely fascinating with all the different creatures, realms, and adventure. I can’t wait to finish the rest!

Forever: A Diamond Doms Novel by Ivy Nelson-Review by Elena Tobar

Forever (Diamond Doms #9)Forever by Ivy Nelson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a beautiful peek inside a sadist/masochist relationship. The sparks between Russell and Gemma set the pages on fire! This book is full of action, heat and romance and gives such an inside look at what a great relationship between a sadist and a masochist can be like. Gemma has to fully trust Russell in order to play out some of the scenes that she does with him. Even though she doesn’t fully realize that she has fallen for him and trusts him until much later in the book, it’s quite apparent that she does. It just wouldn’t work if she didn’t. Russell is such an amazing guy, even though he’s been badly hurt in the past, he is so tender with her at times and does not once take advantage of her. This book wrapped up the series beautifully and gave peeks at what the other couples were up to and how their live were progressing as well.

There is no doubt when you read this book the emotional roller coaster it takes you on is bumpy, heartbreaking and sometimes hard to bear. But this story really gives you the feels that you want to cry so much to an uncontrollable sob to anger because we all know, Cancer Sucks. Tori is a psychologist at a local hospital and this is where she meets Will. When Tori’s nurse friend, Jenny, asks just to meet someone on her floor that this patient does not get any visitors of friends nor family. This man just needs a friend to visit and talk. This is the moment that Tori meets Will. Tori is taken back as she has befriended other patients before, but they were more older as Will is a young man of only 29. At first, Will just wants to die on his own terms, this is not his first battle with cancer and this time it is more aggressive. Tori would make a daily visit to Will just to talk and befriend him with no strings attached. As the days past and the more time that is spent together, Tori and Will fall in love but not without the true ups and downs when cancer is trying to win the battle. You also get to know Will before cancer and how he was growing up and demons he had to defeat. Believe me when I say this story is not easy at times, but it truly is a great story. I am looking forward to reading book 2. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Death Under the Palm Trees: A Jack and Frances 1930s mystery by Carmen Radtke is the fourth book in the Jack and Frances Mysteries series. This is the first book I have read in this series, but I enjoyed it despite not having read the previous books. The book is a delightful cozy mystery set in 1930s Nice, France. It had the feel of classic mysteries written by Agatha Christie and others. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. The setting was luxurious and glamourous but with some less than honorable people. I liked the twists in the story and how Jack and Frances interact with each other. The dialogue is witty and clever. I will now read the previous books in this series and look forward to more from this author.

I knew going into this one that it would be emotional but I don’t think I was quite ready for just how emotional it was. I was quickly able to connect with the characters and I could easily picture everything playing out in my mind because this author wrote with so much detail, and in a book like this it’s certainly creates an impact!

This was an absolutely beautiful love story, one that I won’t soon forget!

It breaks my heart to write this review as we conclude this wonderful series. If there was ever a series that made you wish for more this would be it. Having a teenager of my own it has been wonderful following Lucy as she grows comfortable with who she is and the forces that have shaped her.
In this last book Marcus must go out of town due to a familial obligation and her father Jude is still out of town on his own mission. You would think that with these powerful men out of her life temporarily things might slow down for a bit. That doesn’t happen as one of the mean girls in her friend group performs a séance and accidentally unleashes an evil entity on their city. Lucy must reveal her secret powers to save her friends after coming to the realization that they are like family to her even the ones that don’t like her all that much. While Lucy tries to protect her friends and they try to protect her she catches some unwanted demonic attention. Can she protect her friends or is their city going to hell in a handbasket literally? This is a must-read series that will leave you hooked through the very end!

Snowfall Serenade (Soul Connection #3) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Snowfall Serenade (Soul Connection, #3)Snowfall Serenade by Nikki Lynn Barrett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Snowfall Serenade is book three in the Soul Connection series by Nikki Lynn Barrett. This story captivated me from the blurb. I was intrigued by the little taste the author gave of the content. It was very well written and sucked me in from the beginning. A lot of emotions unfolded throughout this book. A lot happened to Zelda and Scott during their time together. There was drama aplenty with secrets, life changing events and the inner struggle to cope with the new norm. This story was engaging and endearing. Hard to cope with moments and difficult feelings to deal with, Zelda did well to keep hold of reality. Scott had to deal with new abilities, secrets being unravelled and learning how to forgive. It was a tumultuous journey, but one that was fulfilling and a true delight to read. Author Barrett spun a masterful tale that seized my attention and left me with a warm and contented feeling. 4 stars

This second book in this series leaves off with the first as Lucy comes to terms with her father and maybe he’s not all that evil for a demon that is. But what about her other half, the witch side of her bloodline, it hasn’t had it’s awakening yet and what will happen when it does.
In this book we’re introduced to some new characters and new dimensions of the characters from the first book. First off, we finally get to meet Marcus’ parent when they come back into town, but their ulterior motives arise when they meet Lucy for the first time. As Marcus’ father lets the news slip about coming to town to kill Jude Lucy is faced with her own mortality. Now Marcus must put his hatred for Jude and Dylan aside in order to protect Lucy again except this enemy is his own blood. Add in some surprise characters that may tip the scales, but which side will come out on top? The next step in every great relationship is meeting the parents but did Lucy and Marcus bite off more than they could chew? This book should be on everyone’s must read list right after the first book in this series, they are that good!

Death under Palm Trees (A Jack and Frances mystery Book 4) by Carmen Radtke – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Death under Palm TreesDeath under Palm Trees by Carmen Radtke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this historical cozy mystery novel which had me hooked from page one. Although book four in the ‘A Jack and Frances mysteries’ series, this was the first book I had read and I was able to read it happily as a standalone story. However, I enjoyed it so much that I am now keen to read the previous books as well. Set in Nice, in the French Riviera during 1931, the setting and the era of the Golden Age is wonderfully bought to life by the authors descriptive narrative. The main characters, fiancé’s Jack and Frances and her Uncle Sal are all intriguing characters in their own right and all bring something unique to the story. Instead of being guests of honour at a glitzy New Year’s Eve party as planned, Frances has to swap her evening gown for a maids uniform and Jack poses as a chauffeur, when the hostess needs their discreet help. They then have to work together in solving a theft of some important government documents. Meanwhile Uncle Sal, brings out his ‘Salvatore the Magnificent’ act to keep the guests entertained.
It’s difficult for Jack and Frances to investigate all the suspects as the guests are all enjoying the glamorous setting and nights at the casinos. Then just when they think they have solved the theft a death occurs, under the palm trees. As the pair realise they are now looking for a murderer they must act quickly to prevent the killer striking again. The storyline is enjoyable and the plot has plenty of twists and turns in it, that kept me guessing until the end. I fell in love with the three main characters and found them all very likeable. I felt engaged with them as I followed them in their journey looking for clues and solving the mystery. I look forward to reading future books in this series and am happy to have discovered a new author in Carmen Radtke.
