Evelyn and Devlin have sparks. Problem is they work together and he annoys her. She is coming off a bad breakup and he makes a proposition. This is a quick, fun and entertaining read. There is lots of banter and humor. The characters are so made for each other. I loved the writing in the story. It just flows together so well. The writing is contemporary and realistic. You feel like you might be with them. An enjoyable read. A new author to me and I hope to read more

Wow, I loved how strong Laurel is. She faces so many challenges head on. The writing feels so realistic that you feel like you are there with her. The storyline is smooth and relatable. The characters are well-written. The author writes very good historical fiction that feels so easy to read and is not dull or dry. A strong story that is a must read.

I loved Devlin! Such a sweet workplace romance. Of course never without its ups and downs and tension. But isn’t that what keeps the reader intrigued. I loved what the author did. I just wish it was more. I finished this book in one sitting and was sad when it was done. I did like the small twist. I didn’t see it coming, but I wasn’t surprised either. Devlin and Eve are partners at work that do everything to ignore the tension between each other. Playing it off as irritation and dislike. That is till Eve’s available and Devlin swings for the fences to get his shot. All he wanted was one night, he never realized it would be so much more. Eve’s had her ups and downs but never lets anyone get too close. Devlin has been hurt and just keeps it buried. These to a whirlwind of tension, sarcasm, intentionally irritating, but sweet to one another as well. What happens when a promotion gets in their way? They are no longer on the same plane, one is now the other’s boss. I’ve always enjoyed reading a fictional office romance, but I’m one who has always been against them in life. If you enjoy everything I listed that this book has to offer you need to jump in head first now. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Oh my goodness, this has to be my favorite of the series so far. Master Catteneo and Alessia have a fated romance. He’s a Master Vampire and she’s a gypsy psychic. This story brings basically everyone back together as they look for Lucianna, who’s been taken by the evil ones working with Isala. The drama is outstanding in this installment. I love the ladies of the Masters. Alessia is just trying to fit in and here comes Embry jumping to conclusions. The adventure, romance, and suspense will draw you in and keep you there. I finished this book in 24 hours. Every minute I had, I was reading. I could not put this book down, I had to know what was going to happen. There are a couple of subplots going on by the author does such a great job of being able to take these and it all comes back together and ties in so well. The characters feel like they are people you might know. Yeah, they are supers, but they have human characteristics. Ezra, Alessia’s gramma, is awesome. I would love to see her have a story (could just be due to I’m a senior citizen also, lol). Fantastic book & series. I’ll be eagerly awaiting Master Calabria.

Fighting Chance: A Steamy Sports Contemporary Billionaire Romance by Toni Denise
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Fighting Chance is a fantastic read. I loved every minute and really didn’t want it to end. This book is a steamy read and I like that.
Kendall is a sports journalist. She finds out that her dad is coaching. He should be retiring, not coaching, but she soon finds out what’s going on. She goes to a match to see what the fuss is all about. The quote I chose for Kendall is: “I have no idea. If I had a better story idea, I would have led with that. I’m screwed.”
Chad moved to town in order to be trained by Rich. He had to bug the old man, but finally got through to him. When Rich’s daughter shows up things go out the window. The quote I chose for Chad is: “Hold them like that. I assume you know how to throw a punch from your dad, but if you have to use it, this will stun him enough to get away. Keep me between you and them at all times. We’re going to move quick, but try to look casual. Got it?”

The Intruders by Brett McKay. Oh yall….this book was amazing. It’s my favorite genre which is thriller mysteries. Its the story of Dex who is a used car salesman. He has a pretty normal life, he quit a higher paying job so that he could spend more time with his family. One night him and his wife and kids are kidnapped after their house is broken into. Dex has never seen these people before but they know everything about him and his life. Trying to make his family more comfortable he makes a deal with them that he will tell them everything he knows if they will take care of his family. Its still not enough. These silver eyed people are everywhere and they are kidnapping people all over. When Dex’s family is able to escape with the help of a friend they are basically on the run. When you start this book you better buckle up because it is a fast paced read until you are finished kind of book. I loved it!
Welcome to Petty’s and Roselyn’s story. Petty is working a case protecting Roselyn. Roselyn is hiding from her abusive ex boyfriend. I admire both Petty and Roselyn! Roselyn left her ex boyfriend the first time he hit her. Smart as well as strong. Roselyn absolutely hates Petty, on the outside. Petty finds out his wife is coming home after being in prison for 7 years. Being the man he is, he gets an apartment to set up for her. Afterall he is still married to her. Things take a horrible turn for Petty. If his brothers find out his secret, Petty feels they will kick him out of Satan’s Devil’s MC. That’s all I am going to say, no spoilers. I absolutely admire this author. All I have to do is see her name and the book is mine. She wrote this series and wrote it well. Her characters are believable, strong, and loving in their own way. This is definitely a non stop action packed story. Every emotion will be brought out. So have tissues ready. While this story can be read as a stand alone, I recommend you read the series. These men and women of the Satan’s Devil MC, will surprise you just as they have me.

Musical Murder Mystery Boxed Set #1 Books 1-3 by K.L. Montgomery. I love this author and I loved this Box set! This author has a way of writing about females who are not the public’s idea of perfect and makes them full of body positivity. I love that! Each book can be read as a standalone but I really enjoyed reading them in order. The series star is Ruby Ecco as she travels around the world with a touring theatre group. Ruby has the amazing ability to find clues for murders and she helps solve them. In the first book The Sound of Murder they travel to Asheville, North Carolina and visit the Biltmore Mansion. They are preforming a musical and its got catchy songs. The Second book is West Side Murder. This book sends us to Florida where Ruby gets to visit her grandparents while she is there for the show. The third book is Little Shop of Murder and it takes place during her boss’s nephews wedding and she is to attend as a spy. All of these books are fun, funny and just a great time. Do yourself a favor and read these fun books today!
Master Catteneo is not used to being contradicted or challenged when he tells someone to do something. However, from his first meeting with Alessia, he finds himself constantly in that position. Alessia is the granddaughter of a psychic that sided with the vampires in their war with rogue vampires and witches. Having inherited her grandmother’s power, she finds that she will also do anything to protect the vampires. Catteneo and Alessia are forced to work together to find the Overmaster’s mate that has been kidnapped. The closer they work together, the more they find themselves drawn to each other, and eventually, entangled together. Can they complete their task before it’s too late? Will they be able to overcome the humanity of Alessia and find a way to be together?
This is a continuation of the series Masters of the Consulate. This was a quick read. It drew me in from the beginning and was fast paced through to the end. Alessia is a girl who knows her mind and doesn’t have a problem fighting for what she sees as right. She lets her heart lead her, and she fits right in with the rest of the characters in their loyalties to each other. I would have liked to have read more interactions between her and the other ladies, as well as so more in-depth backstory for Catteneo. The story continues to become more involved, and I look forward to reading more!

The Hunter (The Freemasons Book 2) by Nicole Flockton. I love this author so it was no surprise I loved this book. Its a enemies to lovers read and its book 2 in the Freemasons series but can be read as a standalone. Gemma is a journalist and she is a journalist who is tried of doing little stories she wants a big one. Whoa! Who knew that a book written about a used car salesman could be so entertaining? I truly mean it when I say…what a book!! This was an intense, thrilling, terrifying story! Brett had such spectacular descriptions of everything, so much detail made the book that much better. The fighting scenes were extremely detailed, it was amazing the thought process that went into the way he explained how someone was hurt. Dex (the main character) goes from plain ol’ used car salesman to a badass! The plot, characters, all of it…truly amazing! Also, the way that Brett included his author notes after each chapter and didn’t spoil anything about the plot was AWESOME! I don’t think I have ever read a book that the author took time to include their notes! This was my first book by Brett, and I’ll definitely be checking out some of his other books. I love page turners and books that I can’t put down, and this was definitely one of those type of books!

Devlin By: Angela K Parker 5* This romance is so good! It is a forbidden office romance but it definitely does not have the normal feel of an office romance book. Devlin is a businessman and a darn good one at that. He is known for his womanizing. He is also known for his banter with his coworker Evelyn. He has his eyes on a big promotion but that promotion has strings attached. He is not allowed to fraternize with other employees. This new rule comes at the worst possible time. Evelyn works with Devlin and loves to hate him. The banter between them is so fun to read. In a moment of weakness she gave in to her needs and spent the night with Devlin. This is a night that she can’t get out of her head. She can’t explain the jealousy that is creeping into her when he is with other women. Luckily she just received the chance to plan the winter party for the company. This is do or die for her career and she can’t let Devlin get in her way. Their resolve to stay coworkers and leave things to just one night is challenged when they are sent out of town together and they have adjoining rooms. Are they both willing to admit that they have more feelings than they first thought? Or will they stick to the rules that have been given to them. I LOVED this story. I had a very hard time putting it down. I really truly loved their relationship and I hope that there is more to come from these characters!

This is the 5th book in the Masters of the Consulate series and wow these books keep getting better and better. They ate full of danger, action, paranormal creatures and happenings and a unexpected mate which ties the story all together. In this story we are with the Master Vampire of Itay Catteneo. When Overmaster Descallia’s mate gets kidnapped her last know location was Itay so Catteneo is tasked to find her so she can be rescued. When he goes to speak to a women with the the gift of sight all he wanted was to find Descallia’s mate, what he doesn’t realise is that he will find his own mate in the process.
Alessia is sent with Catteneo to help find Descallia’s mate. She had her grandmother’s gift of sight and as much as she and Catteneo try to deny it the attraction between them is instant. But neither wants to give in. Alessia is focuses and determined to help the vampires find the missing women whether they want her help or not.
I love Alessia. She is a strong and determined woman who won’t back down to anyone. She is a very skilled at what she does and as the vampires will learn she will be very useful to them. But what no one could expect is the growing relationship between her and Catteneo. At first the hatred is so strong but as they work together and get to know each other you feel that starting to change. But can she really be his true mate? Or is it just lust and attraction messing with their brains? And will they be able to save Descallia’s mate before the evil that took her destroys her and starts and complete war between all paranormal sectors?

I loved this book! It really painted a picture that sometimes what we want, is not what we truly wanted. As much as we thought, The story was interesting, with danger, and an unknowing fate.
I really came to love this book and very much enjoy the writing of this author! Laurel was a wonderful character. Felt for her. She married for love, and was whisked away in what should be a fairy tale. With her new husband’s sister, it was anything but that. I found danger was at almost every turn for her, her husband felt in the middle. Laurel wanted to live the life she wanted, not live in fear. I was pulled all the way through. I saw a lot of character development with Laurel. The ending….holy moly. I need answers now! I was pulled in and was held to the end. This book was hard to put down!
I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and use of descriptive words. I really felt I was in the historical era! The book was a must read, as well as the author, and I very much highly recommend it!

Been a loyal fan of this series, and this author since book 1, and I swear the books keep getting better and better. With steam, character depth, and action and danger! I especially loved this book!
This one had great character depth that was happening with vampires, humans, and a event that happened in a previous book! This one really pulled me in. The danger, and the threat at large was one of their own, a mate of one of the overmasters. I loved reading about Alyssa and Master Catteneo! They worked well as a team, and had heat you could not ignore! Loved their developments as well! Loved this installment!
Could not put this one down seriously! Such a freaking good read. I suggest reading from book 1 to get the full story and enjoyment of the story and characters. Highly recommend this must read book and series!

This was a book I could not help but love! I related to it so very much! I am someone who feels different option, and wants to fit in as much as Miranda did. Loved how real she was!
Miranda had a life that was set to be like her family. I enjoyed how realistic it was , hearing how her family was and how she was raised. I truly felt for her when she discovered in fact how different she was! I loved how her feelings were valid, and how magical she was, she went for a new life. To start fresh, and to be who she really was. The book was amazing and magical for me! I loved the author’s writing style as well!
A must read for sure! I have read many books by this author, and this one certainly does not disappoint at all. I highly recommend this must read book and author!

Dex is a struggling used car salesman just trying to make ends meet when he and his family are abducted by a group of armed men in the night. Even when they torture Dex he can think of no reason why he and his family have been targeted. When their captors assume they have to wrong guy, Dex and his family are marked for execution. They must escape the underground bunker and work out what is going on – who are they? And who did they think Dex was?
This was great! The pacing was perfect and the supernatural elements showed such creativity. Dex was such a likeable character. I was really invested in his family’s safety. All of the characters were written so well that they came to life and had me gasping when the intensity increased. Really enjoyed the action throughout and was satisfied with the ending.
If you enjoy a bit of action and badassery, then this is worth your time!
I fell in love with this series from the first chapter of the first book. I couldn’t wait until this one came out. My only complaint is that is was so good I finished it in one sitting. Now I feel lost. I cannot wait until part 3 comes out. I enjoyed this book so much that I headed over to Etsy and purchased a signed copy.
The thing I love lost about this book is that although it’s a work of fiction involving faeries and magic, it’s still relatable. The characters are developed so well. There’s growth, and depth which each one.
Chloe suffers from anxiety when it comes to fighting. She immediately freezes up. The first book kind of explains why this happens to her and why she lacks confidence in herself. But when her family and friends that she cares about is in danger she digs deep and finds strength, bravery, and love. She has such a large heart and is extremely clear headed in the face of danger.
My second favorite part is learning more about Quintus. I was completely shocked by his story and I hope we learn the reasons behind his parents choices and actions. Although he has a lot of growing to still do he made great strides in this chapter and hopefully Quintus and Chloe find away to be together.
Mishti is actually one of my favorite characters. I think her and Chloe’s relationship will evolve to an everlasting friendship. I really hope to get more focus on Mishti. Maybe they find a way to fix the affects of the white tablet? I want to know where she’s from, if she has family back home? How much time has passed?
I also hope we find out way Ludo is actually looking for and why he’s desperately trying to find it.
I have to go read Elena’s story as well I feel like it may give more understanding to Portia, Julian and the rest of the other mortals. I hope they find a permanent solution.
Please do yourself a favor and read this book. If you haven’t read the first book in the series do that first! It’s critical to understanding this one.

Soliloquy by Janet Fogg is a story about how the power of love can even transcend time. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Fogg, so I really wasn’t sure of what to expect from one of her stories. But the premise intrigued me enough to grab a copy and join the adventure. Concert pianist, Erin, finds herself thrust back in time to WWII Nazi occupied France where she is caught up in plenty of action- helping the resistance, as well as a downed British pilot who just happens to have ties to Erin’s own time. With agendas, danger, time running out, high stakes, history, romance, twists, and lots of dramatic developments, this story proved to be a bit of a page-turner. Looking forward to reading more of Ms. Fogg’s books. Happy Reading!

Wednesday Family is a witch, and is in love with her best friend, Ryker. Ryker just happens to be a panda shifter, which for anyone else might not be a big deal, but he’s got a mate out there and Wednesday knows she needs to let him go. And soon.
Oh. My. Goddess. This was such a heartwarming and sweet story of these two. I’m usually pretty skeptical when it comes to books about shifters but I’m so glad I took a chance on Wednesday and Ryker because I can see this being a book I could read again and again.
There’s a hint of steamy here and there, but it doesn’t equal the entire story. The characters are great and I am 100% going to need a book about Gomez and the new friend even if they aren’t the same book! I’m looking forward to reading more from this author because Paris in Springtime clearly knows it’s romance.

This was a great 5 star read. It was a quick read that pulled me right in. Kendall is a reporter and when she gets an opportunity to do a different story she jumps on it. She ends up meeting Chad at an underground MMA event. Kendall wants to interview Chad but he refuses. You can definitely pick up on the sparks flying between them. Can Kendall convince him to help with her story? Will they get a HEA?
Overall I really enjoyed this couple. My emotions were all over the place. The author does a great job with her writing. If you’re looking for a good quick read, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I am loving this series and I’m so glad that Trudy gets her own story! I’ve been following her through this series and she’s one of my favorite characters.
Trudy is the medical examiner and some bones are located the likes that she’s never seen. It’s up to her to find out who this is and to help identify who did this to them. Her services are invaluable to the police department but can her kind spirit endure the emotional toil that it’s taking on her?
Ms. Flade does it again with another great novel full of mystery, suspense, and romance. I found myself on the edge of my seat as I read this thrilling, fast-paced novel. I’ll be looking forward to more great reads by this author!

Okay, I cannot get enough of Wednesday’s name. First of all. Secondly, who could resist the cutest little love story with paranormal/supernatural aspects, best friend and soul mate vibes galore. Right away, you get the impression that this is going to have a happy ending, despite some of the main character’s best efforts to ensure that they break it off. I also didn’t realize it was not the first installment in this series, and will be sure to go back and read more of this authors work.
I’m always looking for something with a touch of something different, and this author definitely added some spice and suspense into the mix. I did feel as though there was a lot of reiteration of the characters feelings, though I’m sure it was just to hit the point home, it just seemed like it dragged out the story line a little. This, however, is what my love dreams are made of, and eventually will find the best friend in life that just wants me to have it all, and just be me. Overall, a great little read, brought forward this reader’s giggles, gasps, and goosebumps.
