The Fire God Tour (Moore Family Saga Book 3) by Michele Sims – Review by Angela Shirley

The Fire God Tour (Moore Family Saga)The Fire God Tour by Michele Sims
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When you are attracted to a person you would never think you would be, can you be brave and follow your gut.

Miles Moore is now 26 years old and now has a successful career as Hip Hop sensation “Ari”, living up the popstar lifestyle he can have any woman he wants but why it always the way when you are attracted to someone you never would have looked at twice normally but ther is just something about his Chief of Marketing he can not get out of his mind.

Bella is good at her job, she prides herself in making a good impression but why is working with Ari so hard for her. The attraction to this enigmatic person does not help the situation and she feels utterly smitten. There is only one problem, Ari enjoys pushing himself to the limits and when he has a healthy fascination to fire which Bella can’t stand will there be a time she needs to walk away or too the smouldering chemistry.

I really enjoyed this second installment in this series, it is great to see these characters interaction and the twists in the story enhanced it along the way. The story was full of intrigue and chemistry and not disappointing.

I loved the way the characters grew together and offered a trust to each to let there secrets unravel but will the love they feel for each be enough to carry on the relationship, you will have to read the book.

I hope there are more stories in this series and look forward to reading more.

Five Stars

The Fire God Tour is a story about the music industry. You get an interesting look into a lot of different aspects of the business. I found the author’s writing style to be smooth. The characters were well written and the plot interesting. Another book to put on the must read again list. I found myself really interested in Ari and Bella’s story. They worked so well together. I also saw how he respected her and her work. I’ve always felt that life is too short for fear but without fear how do we know when it’s too much? A good amount of fear is healthy but Bella’s fear stopped her. The bond between them grows beautiful and I definitely recommend this story.

The Fire God Tour (Moore Family Saga Book 3) by Michele Sims,is one of those great little romances that have you kind of on the edge of your seat…will they or won’t they. Sometimes you just want to slap them. I have to confess I had no idea that so much work went into doing a music tour. I learned quite a bit in this one. Great characters and a sweet romance. Very adult situations.

The Fire God Tour by Michele Sims is the third book in the Moore Family Saga, and was a great read! The only book in this series I’ve read before is the fourth book in this series. That one was so good, I couldn’t wait to read more of the series. This book was not a disappointment. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, I just wished I could have started with the first book first, and continued from there. It was very well written, with great characters and a great plot line and story. It captures me from the beginning and it was hard to put down. I highly recommend this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Fire God Tour (Moore Family Saga #3) by Michele Sims was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

Miles is a hip hop mogul known as “Ari” and at the top of his career. Bella works in marketing for Miles. The more that they work together the more they start to notice each other and their attraction to each other. Bella is very good at her job and impresses Miles even if he gave her the nickname Ice Queen.

Can these two have more than a working relationship? Will Miles help Bella get over her fear of fire?.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. Bella was great, she is smart and determined with the exception of being afraid of fire. Miles (Ari) pulled me right in and I really liked him. The author pulls you in with her writing and you feel like you’re right there with the characters. If you’re looking for a great romance read with a hot rocker than 1-click and get started today.

5/5 Stars

Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series #4) by Toya Richardson

This is the fourth book in The Protectors Series, but can be read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed reading this and can’t wait for the next one.

Luna, a witch, has been having the same dream for three weeks. What happens when that dream comes to the full force? She also finds that maybe things are going to end great. The quote I chose for Luna is: “Our Supernat communities are facing a time of darkness. A time where we must band together in order to defeat the black magic which threatens our very existence. I understand how afraid you all are. And you should be. But scurrying through the portals really won’t solve anything. And trust me, the darkness will discover a way to follow us.”

Rhys, an Element, is finding that he loves life. Especially when he gets to spend it with the love of his life. Going to Luna’s homeland isn’t what he had in mind. The quote I chose for Rhys is: “As long as you’re sure. But if these a**holes shout at you and your mum, I’m taking you both out of here.”

I highly recommend this book for romance lovers.

FALL: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen – Review by Anantha Rusum

Fall (The Ragnarök Prophesies, #2)Fall by A.K. Morgen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A book filled with emotions, this book is about two lovers Arionna and Dace, who are willing to sacrifice everything for each other and for the greater good, to stop Hati and Skoll from freeing Fenrir, which means the end of the world. The story has all the elements in it, it brings back some of the famous characters from Norse Mythology. I love Norse Mythology and I picked up this book as it hinted about Ragnarök. I was a little disappointed as I had hoped to see more mythological characters showing up. But this book, make no mistake, is about the lead characters and their emotional ups and downs in their relationship. Dace doesn’t stop at anything trying to save his lady love. Arionna decides to leave him, so that he can focus on the job in hand for the greater good. Will they survive apart, forms the crux of the story. It fast paced and full of action, though it did make me a little sad at places, especially when their relationship gets strained. It is a good book, I enjoyed it, but as I said earlier would have been great to have more mythological characters in it to make it a lot more interesting.

This is the second book in this series and it’s my opinion that you read the first book before this one because this one starts where the first one leaves off. This book is full of emotion and you can feel the emotions between Arionna and Dace jumping off the pages. The author did an excellent job at building a world that you will want more of. I had a hard time putting this book down because I needed to know what happened and then I was left on a cliffhanger!! This story drew me in from the beginning and I enjoyed the entire story. I recommend this book.

At first it seems like this is a story that’s slow to get started. If you’re looking for a rock em sock em action infusion, FALL: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen, is not that kind of story. The characters are each unique in their personalities and purpose. This story is all about the slow journey to purpose and destiny. Coming to terms with the things you might not like about yourself and others and finding a way to just “get on with it”. I do have to say I was somewhat moved to jealousy by the love Dace has for Arionna, and hers for him, but certainly not their destiny. Watch out for the cliffhanger, the anticipation is killing.

Fall by A. K. Morgen is the second book in The Ragnarok Prophesies series and was a great read! I haven’t read the first book in the series, and I don’t feel like I missed a whole lot, so this could definitely be a read alone novel. This was a very enthralling book, and I got hooked from the prologue! I could hardly put the book down. This book had a great plot, some suspense (mostly because I haven’t read the first in the series) and some thrills. The book also had some great characters and I enjoyed getting to meet them! FALL: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen. This is the second installment in the Ragnarok Prophesies and its just as amazing as the first book. You do need to read the first book or you will be lost. It picks up right where Fade left off and has Arionna recovering from her run in with Haiti. Arionna is struggling to heal and Dace is mad at himself for not protecting her. When things are good with their relationship its good but when its not its strained to say the least. You do see in this story how much they truly care about each other. You see more of Ronan in this story who is the typical bad boy but deep down he’s really got a good heart. While Arionna is recovering Dace takes it upon himself to make some decisions that he thinks are best for Arionna so when she finds out needless to say she’s not happy about it. Will they continue to be together or will their job of fighting off Haiti and Skoll tear them apart? I can’t wait to read the next book!

I truly loved reading this book, I did start on book two and have just purchased the first to tie up a few questions I have but, I do love me a bit of Norse Mythology, this book is a perfect combination of that and good old fashioned Fantasy and a little bit of romance thrown in for good measure, what more could a girl ask for? The author kept my attention fully from beginning to end, really looking forward to reading more books from A.K Morgen. Thanks for a brilliant read.

Fall: The Ragnarök Prophesies by A.K. Morgen is the second book in the series. I somehow did not notice the number two and jumped right into the middle of the story. I enjoyed this book so much that I am going back to book one to see what I missed. The story must pick up to where the first book ended. Arionna and Dace are emotional characters with a lot on the line. Will they make decisions that will benefit the many or the few?
I have really enjoyed the ride of a story and the characters as they are further developing. This book has a lot going for it. The story is well constructed, interesting characters with depth, and more. I look forward to going back to the first book and also reading more from this author in the future.

This book is intriguing and fun to read! This book is a page-turner filled with action on each page and great world building in a fantasy land. I’ve enjoyed where it took me in Alice’s adventure. I love to follow the story of where Alice comes from and what she’ll do to rise above it at all costs. The fact that she’s out to set herself apart from her grandpa is truly spectacular and the supernatural fantasy realm is great for exploring your imagination especially with her ghost sidekick, Malcolm.

As soon as I finished Fade (book 1 in the series) I had to start Fall. The story starts within moments of where the first book ended. Arionna is recovering in the hospital and Dace is beating himself up because he couldn’t keep her safe. These two have a bond that has kept them together for many lifetimes. Their relationship is strained at times but as the books progress, you can really see how much they love each other and how committed they are to saving everyone. There are moments when Arionna seems to get swallowed up in her feelings but isn’t that what many of us did when we were young and trying to figure out what we are on this earth for?

This story continues from the first story Fade. The characters are complex and well thought out. The plot-line has fantasy, prophecy, Norse mythology, and danger. The characters are fully developed and I felt a connection as the story went on. The story has a fast pace feel and I found myself not getting enough and turning the pages more quickly. This story has many characters who support one another. Arionna is trying to get Dace past his guilt. She does not want him to fall apart. Will Arionna have to go through to save the people she loves? I highly recommend this story.

This is the 2nd book of The Ragnarok Prophesis. And wow what a story. It is full of action and fantasy. Love and heartbreak. It is so well written you can’t help but feel every emotion. It has had me in tears and you can really feel the emotional struggle the characters go through.

Arianna and Dace are shapeshifters and soul mates. Brought together by Odin their job is to stop Hati and Skoll from completing their tasks and freeing Fenrir. If he got free that would mean the end of the world.

Over the years and centuries they have fought side by side and everytime Dace has had to stand by as his love is killed by Hati and Skoll.

The year is now 2010 and they find each other again. However this time Airanna’s wolf is so diminished she can no longer shift and Dace is terrorise by all the times he was unable to save her. With the guilt constantly playing on his mind he starts to put their other friends at risk just to keep her safe.

Arianna knows he cant go on like this else he will go down a road he cannot be redeemed from and may cause the end of the world so she makes the heartbreaking decision to leave him.

Can they survive apart? Will her departure mean he can release his guilt and get back to focusing on stopping Skoll and Hati? Or will this sacrifice she makes of destroying her heart still end up with everyone she loves dying instead of saving them.

Set in a world where supes and humans mix, Alice Worth is a paranormal private eye, as a mage she is able to use her special talents to find answers where the human law enforcement may struggle. When she is hired to find some missing books for a new client, Alice finds that there is much more to the case than initially met the eye. I also loved Malcolm the troubled ghost and Sean the sexy shifter. I am really looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.

Heart of Malice is the first book in the Alice Worth series by Lisa Edmonds. This is my first read from Ms. Edmonds, so I was quite intrigued by what her story would reveal. I love all things fantasy and paranormal- so this book captured my attention immediately. This is a really great start to the series- it’s a cleverly crafted paranormal urban fantasy- with a paranormal private investigator and her ghostly partner, magic, danger, sinister forces, hidden agendas, secrets, intrigue, and mystery. Ms. Edmonds proves to be a talented storyteller with stellar world building skills which really brought this story to life. Weaving a story encompassing such a multitude of supernatural elements and characters really gave my imagination a workout- in a great way. I am really looking forward to exploring the rest of this series and seeing what comes next!

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth #1)Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Heart of Malice is the first book in the Alice Worth series. And, I have to say that the series is off to a great start!

The first chapter starts out with action which sucks you right into the story. I liked the unique way the ghost is portrayed in chapter two. I also found the interaction between the ghost and Alice amusing. Alice sort of reminds me of Jessica Jones.

Something I’m wondering about is how the author decided on what is in the Supernatural and Paranormal Entity Registration Act. I’d be interested to know what went into that process. It’s a good detail that adds a more realistic feel to the story.

All of that rambling to say, this is a good read. The only thing I wish had been different is that Alice demonstrated more of her power. And, maybe that changes in subsequent books as the character grows. I’ll have to read and see.

A.K. Morgen is a new author to me but after reading the synopsis I couldn’t wait to find out more from this read, and what this author is all about. This book is part of a series, but having not read Book 1 I wouldn’t have known any different, this book flows on its own and it thoroughly captivated me from the very beginning. It’s a fast-paced read that left me wanting more. I was drawn to this read having the mythology side to it and then with it being Norse mythology, it was a no brainer for me. This read definitely takes you on an emotional rollercoaster one that I didn’t want to end, I loved following these characters journeys. With this vivid and mentally visual read its one not to be missed, I can’t wait to go back and read Book 1 and totally love these characters all over again! I can’t wait to read more from this series and what else this author brings us.
