Fall: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen is a paranormal fantasy, coupled with Norse mythology. This book takes off right where the last one, Fade left off and it moves at a much slower pace. It focuses on the mythology more and the thoughts and emotions that the characters are working through, sometimes a little too much. In this story we get more backstory in to Ari and Dace’s past lives and AK gives us some side plots that keep you on your toes. In true AK fashion she leaves us hanging for the next instalment.

Holy guacamole! I jumped into this one face first, without having read book one, and was overwhelmed by the sheer emotion of the journey (in a beautiful way). Heavy on Norse mythology – which I loved – this book felt epic and relatable. Having read some of the other reviews I realize that my love of this book would probably even be enhanced if I had read book one – which is on my to do list. All in all, a beautiful read. I didn’t feel as though I was at a loss without book one so it does stand well on its own – but I will be grabbing it ASAP all the same.

Fall: The Ragnarok Prophecies: #2 by A.K. Morgen is the follow up story to Fade. I would recommend reading these books in order as I felt like I was obviously missing a lot by not having done so myself. The overall story was well written, although it felt like it was a little slow progression wise in places. But this author has created a world that was vivid and easy to imagine. The characters have a lot going on as well. Even without having read book one you can feel their connection and what they have been through. I will definitely be going back and reading book one and I am very much looking forward to seeing what else is to come.

Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds is the first book in the Alice Worth series. It is an action packed book that will keep you on your toes. This is my first book by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the book. What I found was a well written story that was certainly interesting. I liked the whole escape from her past whole still using her powers. I did at times struggle with the character a little – I wish she could have been a little more tough and hold her own a bit better. However I do think she had a great depth and intrigue about her that kept my interest. This was an overall good book and I am looking forward to seeing whah the rest of the series holds.

Fall is the second book in The Ragnarök Prophesies by A.K. Morgen. It is a fantastic blend of paranormal fantasy, Norse mythology, the prophecy of Ragnarök, destiny, wolves, danger, and intrigue- all wrapped up in a captivating story. The characters are interesting and fully developed individuals- I found that this book is definitely more character driven, as the characters work through a lot of ‘inner’ issues, emotions, trying to figure out everything that has happened previously, as well as what they’re going through in this book. The need for communication, trust, and decision is paramount- but things aren’t quite going to plan. They will need to work it out and deal with their issues, before it’s too late! There’s a lot at stake! Bring on Book #3!!!

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth book 1) by Lisa Edmonds is a 4.5 star read. Alice Worth is a Mage Private Investigator she specialises in the paranormal and Supernatural, when a ghost shows up in her office one day saying he’s been attached to her and once he tells her his story Alice wonders if it’s something to do with the past she’s running from. When new client Natalie comes to her looking for help the case takes an unexpected turn, Alice and her ghost Malcom set out to find who is stealing from Natalie. Throw in a handsome werewolf Alpha and a vampire who wants to suck Alice’s blood, will Alice get to the bottom of her case in one piece knowing who she can trust? This was an enjoyable story, well written with great characters. I can wait to read the next book.

FALL: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 By A.K. Morgen 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book FALL: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen. It is a story had pulled me in and I was hooked from the very beginning. The book has mystery, romance, and wonderful characters. The story is written in such a way that I could feel the emotions that came from the characters. The book is intriguing and entertaining. I felt like I was right there with the characters. Arionna and Dace are amazing. Arionna loves Dace and is trying to save him. Dace feels guilt over Arionna’s near death and is determined to keep her safe. What does the future hold for Arionna and Dace? Read this book to find out. I love paranormal romance books and this story is a good example of why. I grew to care about Arionna and Dace with each chapter that I read. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. Don’t miss out on a story that has both an amazing plot and amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.

I give Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds, 5 stars.
This is phenomenal urban fantasy. It is a little on the darker side, but the story is so unique and interesting. Alice’s background is something the like I have not really read before and you can see this in the way she handles her investigation. At the same time, she is knows she’s not perfect and learns from that. She reminds me of Mercy Thompson or Anita Blake. Malcolm is great too and I really like the addition of a secondary character. Then there’s the story itself. I really enjoyed it and liked the fact that I was reading something I have not read before. Add in the twists and turns, this makes for a complete story that you can’t get enough of. I eagerly await when I can delve back into this world in the next book.
If you are a fan of strong female characters in an urban fantasy setting with some mystery and action thrown in, this book is for you.

I enjoyed this book. It is full of action and fantasy. This is a new author for me and I can’t wait to read more from her. I enjoyed being pulled in right from the first page. It is a fast paced story that is engaging and I found it very easy to read. The characters are connectable and this author’s attention to details made me feel as if I was part of the story. They are a strong group and supportive of each other. This is book two, I highly suggest reading book one to help you know where the characters have been and going forward. I enjoyed how the story builds; it makes you turn pages fast and want more. In this story Arizona and Dace are against each other. Will Dace let go of the past and what does the future have instore for Arizonna? Will she have to sacrifice her heart for those she loves? I highly recommend this book.

I loved this story! It really kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was happening next. I was surprised and hopeful all at the same time throughout this one. Then there are the characters. They breathe life into this story. Alice Worth is one to keep an eye on. She has a past that is sooo secret and a new life that she shields to keep her past quiet. Trust issues are one of her biggest hang-ups. Then we have the lovely secondary characters. Mal, Sean and Charles. I have to say Mal is pretty high on my list. He is an amazing and helpful sidekick. The other two are each paranormals high in society who covet Alice and hinder each other’s pursuits.
Overall this is a wonderful beginning to this series. It makes me want to read more and more. Next please!

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth #1) by Lisa Edmonds is an Urban Fantasy paranormal story that has it all. Magic, Witches, vampires, werewolves and much more. Lisa’s world building is well done and with so many creatures her imagination could go wild, which I so look forward to. Our feisty heroine is a PI and is well written and she is sassy and strong, clever and a powerful survivor. I absolutely love the ghost witch, Malcolm who has become her new PI partner in crime. The plot is interesting and is fast-paced and brings us a mysterious magical journey.
This is a great start to the series and have great expectations for the next book.

This book was a lot! Like prepare yourself to get lost for a few hours or more because you are not going to want to stop until you read that last page and find out how this book will come to a conclusion. I am new to Lisa Edmonds but the cover drew in my attention and I just had to know what this urban fantasy would hold. Alice is our main gal! She has a history in the dark that she wants to keep there in order to keep her safe. There are a lot of people who could use her memory and history to their advantage and not Alice’s. Alice also runs her own PI firm and has just taken on a case that will also test her and her magic skills. I love all the components of magic that are at play in this novel and I was always very entertained. I hope we will get many more of Alice and her adventures in the near future!

Lisa Edmonds is a new author to me. Her writing style kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Her plot line is engaging with every page I wanted more and more. Her characters are complex and complicated. I can imagine the story with her imagery. Alice is the main character. She was a prisoner to a crime syndicate, who escaped through faking her death. Now she is a PI for the supernatural. She has stumbled on a case that will test her abilities. Alice will have to find her client and the object before it is too late. I recommend this story and I can’t wait until the next book.

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds 5 Stars
Alice has powerful magic. Since the age of six she was forced to do some unthinkable things to make her grandfather powerful and feared. Her only way to escape was to fake her own death. Taking on a new identity, she now works as a private investigator. She takes on a case that she believes is simple but turns out to be much more complicated and she almost dies. Though she trusts no one, she realizes that she needs help and recruits a ghost, werewolf and a vampire. With such a mish mash of supernaturals, things get quite interesting.
I loved this book! Alice is a force to be reckoned with yet she is insecure and closed off for the most part. Opening up is hard for her considering her past. I adored the characters and the dynamics between each of them. The world building and premise of the story will keep you riveted to your seat unable to put the book down. This is going to be an awesome series.

Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds a four-star read with heart. This is the first novel in the Alice Worth series and shows great promise for the series, this has some very well done world building as it encompasses a variety of different characters and they each have their own personal quirks, that make them so much more. Alice the main character is nicely done, she is hiding from a scary past, but while hiding she is also trying to atone for things that were beyond her control, as we all know guilt doesn’t always follow the correct rules. Alice was believable as a private investigator, she had a real awareness to her, I am hopeful for the rest of this series as we have met some great characters that I am sure we will only fall harder in love with the more we get to know them.

We first meet Sera in the Sanctuary where she lives and join her as she wakes before sunrise and decides that she is going to go down to the kitchen for a cup of tea and to make some notes on her current research project.
It is on her way here that Ian Macon finds her and cannot turn away from the light she shines on him, the question is, does he want to? He is still torn up about losing his wife and mate and is caught between that and his wolf’s reaction to the light in Sera.
This is where the story really begins, as Sera loses an important part of who she is and discovers feelings that threaten to overwhelm her. She will need to uncover her past, present and future, how they all link together and what the consequences of these may be. While she does this, she is surrounded by friends and allies who rally around her and will protect her at all costs, but what will the costs be and how will she know what the right choices are?
You will be taken on a whirlwind ride and be there with her step by step as you become engrossed in the story, the characters and the world in which they all live. A definite page turner that keeps you guessing right until the end.

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds was one terrific book. The characters are all very well developed and so very unique. The plot was very well thought out, every action the characters take, and the rationales behind those actions. The story in and of itself is mind snagging but the thirst for more is tantalizing. Be warned there is mature content to this story, not so much that you are constantly skipping through it but it is in there. So be forewarned. Great action, great dialogue. Worth a good read.

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) By Lisa Edmonds 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The story includes magic, shifters, mages, mystery, and danger. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. I loved reading about Alice. She is a PI of the Supernatural. Alice is intelligent, strong, and fiercely independent. She doesn’t like to rely on anyone but herself. The story finds her and Malcolm, a ghost with a past just like herself, on a mission to find an object of power. What happens next has Alice looking for someone with a dangerous secret and an unknown agenda. Will Alice find the object of power? How much danger is Alice in? What does her future hold? Read this book to find out. This story has both an amazing plot and unforgettable characters. The author does a wonderful job in world building and I loved reading the story of what has happened in the past to both Alice and Malcolm. Other characters are introduced and some of them are friendly and helpful while others have their plans and will do anything to make sure their agenda comes to pass. This is an exciting and entertaining story that you will not want to miss out on. I highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this paranormal-fantasy story. This is a well developed story that brings fantasy to a new level. I was pulled in right from the beginning and kept engaged to the end. I had no problems connecting with the characters. Alice has a past and magic has been part of that. Now that she has run from that past, she starts a life over again. She is a private investigator that takes on cases of the supernatural. She is hired to find a mysterious object that has some special powers. The story takes on survival of power and life. There is so much going on in this story that you will not want to miss it. Find out what happens as Alice as she walks a thin line between the present and the past. I highly recommend this book.

For twenty years, she was a prisoner of an organized crime syndicate, forced to use her magic to make Moses the most powerful and feared man on the East Coast. To escape his cruelty, she faked her own death and started a new life as Alice Worth. As a private investigator specializing in cases involving the supernatural, Alice walks a precarious line between atoning for the sins of her grandfather’s cabal and keeping her true identity hidden.
Hired to investigate the disappearance of a mysterious object of power, Alice enlists the help of Malcolm, a ghost running from a past as nightmarish as her own. It soon becomes clear the missing object was taken by someone with a dangerous secret and an unknown agenda. I love paranormal romance, and this book is so different from any others that I have read before. The characters are perfect, and I really like when each chapter tells me whose point of view the story is from. The chemistry between the characters is definitely there and the story is enticing. There are so many humorous scenarios as well. Piper is sassy and spunky and some of her quips are amusing, but at some points I wish she would just stay quiet for her own good. The six brothers all seem protective over her, knowing she is nothing like any of the other maids they have had before, she is not throwing herself at one or all of them. When their older vampire friend Valentine comes to visit, he takes a liking to Piper and now it seems like shit is about to hit the fan, and that is where we leave off with book one. I was so wrapped up in this story I was surprised when it ended. I can’t wait to read the next book of this series and look forward to seeing what becomes of Piper and which brother she ends up with… I would highly recommend this book!

4 Stars Nice short read, although I think this could have been longer and made into a novel, I see this story could have really taken off but I am pleased with what I got. I was sad for Dragomir having to deal with his PTSD and curse and all the rage he had built up inside. Meeting Ida I think saves his life. She is a feisty one, I like her style. She helps Dragomir with all his anger and by having him be submissive, and to his surprise it works. Again, sadly it is a shorter story, but definitely worth the read, I would recommend giving this book a try.

In this book, we follow our lead character, Rylie Press, who’s life is rewarding her. She’s in her hometown where a man has changed everything. Driven and career ambition driven, she’s not expecting what’s ahead of her. Her attraction to Mason Fischer sweeps her off her feet. Mason is a single dad but he’s also alpha of the Powder River Pack. Mason is content without being involved. Rylie opens up new doors for him as she changes his life. He becomes drawn to her as he wants to show her but Rylie has no idea what she’s in for. Mason is in for the hunt to get her no matter what it takes. Will Mason’s secrets dissolve Rylie’s feelings? The way this story unfolds it keeps you waiting for the other shoe to drop with new twists and turns. It’s most definitely a page-turner in my book!

Call Of The Alpha: The Powder River Pack Book 2. I like that this book flips between Mason and Rylie’s point of view. Mason is Alpha of the Powder pack and single dad to Archer, he’s strong, powerful and a great big teddy bear in my opinion. Rylie is Wildlife Biologist who moved back home after a relationship breakdown, she’s a independent women, a bit of a tomboy and loves the outdoors. They are a perfect match. The relationship Rylie and Archer build is beautiful and pulled at my heartstrings many times. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Thank you Brooke May for a fabulous read!

Call of the Alpha Powder River Pack Book 2 By Brooke May
This is a full length must read Paranormal Romance. Turn the first page of this book and you will not want to put it down! This is Rylie and Mason’s story. Mason is a single father to a charming little boy. Archers Mother signed her rights away the day she gave birth to him, and never looked back. Therefore Mason has raised this little man all on his own. He has not dated sense he got the baby. If he were ever to find a mate, she will know that Archer will always be #1. So no dating for Mason.
Rylie is very work oriented and loves being in the woods. She loves being out in the open air, working with the wild animals. She has no interest in a relationship! It’s work work work. In walks Mason and all those thoughts leave, disappear and leave her stunned. Let’s not forget a wildfire.
Brooke May you may be a new author for me. This book will make you a new favorite for me. Her book holds you captive until you read the last page. Brooke May has strong characters and they are loveable as well. You can’t help but fall in love with little Archer. I must say this is a rollercoaster of romance in the werewolves sort of adventure. Brooke May, I’m looking forward to reading more from you!
