Bekah just wanted a one night stand. One night to feel like a woman again. What she found instead is her fate bound mate. Being burned before, she wasn’t sure if she could trust her feelings. Shane wants to put roots down somewhere and live a quiet life. His witch band mates have different ideas. They want stardom. He unwillingly plays a part in their crazy scheme and now something is after him, threatening his future. Can they both survive the evil that’s hunting them?

This was another thrilling paranormal romance novel. It’s an exciting addition to the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. The story was based solely on Shane and Bekah but it was nice to see older characters reappear. I love this series and now I have to wait for a fourth part.

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella is the third book in the Mystifying Music series by Carrie Pulkinen. It is a fantastic paranormal romance- with werewolves, witches, second chances, betrayal, danger, supernatural elements, mystery, suspense, drama, and plenty of sizzle….. and once again set against the vibrant, colourful and mystical backdrop that is New Orleans.
The characters are really fantastic and really made this story come alive. They were really interesting and very well developed. I loved Shane and Bekah, they were so great, I was full on board right from the beginning, and cheering them on the whole way through.
As I have said on more than one occasion- Ms. Pulkinen is one of my favourite authors and I have developed a severe addiction to her work- but, this is one addiction that I am more than happy to indulge- no rehab needed, ever!
Looking forward to whatever she has in store for us next!

Thank you, Ms. Pulkinen!

A Song to Remember by Carrie Pulkinen is a Crescent City Wolf Pack novella. It can be read as a stand-alone although I personally like the build up of reading the other books first.
I loved how fast this book was. It felt like it was so intense as so much was packed into it with great detail. However it also never felt rushed and didn’t ever feel like anything was missing. The characters were brilliant. They had such a strong connection that you could feel on each page.
This author has created a fantastic series and one that I enjoy more and more with each book. I would highly recommend everyone read this series.

This is yet again another great read! I have read a few books from this author and I am never disappointed. I really like the author’s writing style and storylines. I love how she entwines a bit of drama into the romance. I am a huge paranormal romance fan and I love me some werewolf. This book was just a gripping read.

The storyline between Shane and Bekah is actually really sweet. I like how the characters really come to life as you read. I like how the author leads the reader on a journey. The way a bit of the past is entwined into the book and the characters even being paranormal based are realistic. I could really relate to Bekah and her insecurities when it came to her judgement. I really like how the author brings them together. The book was a great read and I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Wow! Good Read! Even though this is a novella. There is a lot of story here. I enjoyed meeting these characters. The story takes me through ups and downs before giving me what I want. My only wish was that this was a bit longer on the backside. It seemed more abrupt when everything previous seemed to take its time.

Shane! I really felt for you. Just trying to be a nice guy and all. That didn’t work out too well for you. The music was an awesome detail and you are obviously very talented. I’m glad you found the connection in your song. Bekah! First off great name! I like your connection to the pack. I loved how once you realized who Shane was you were in his corner! Fighting for your man!

This can easily be read as a stand alone. Although Chase and Rain’s story is fun-food filled and their story might enhance your experience in this book. I enjoy this authors stories. She writes a nice all encompassing characters as well as the story.

This story gets straight to the action and doesn’t stop. I love how this author can tell such a vivid story even with this not being a full-length novel. A Song to Remember gives you some emotional moments mixed in with the danger and suspense.
Overall, a fun, romantic read. This novella is a great supplement to the series. If you haven’t read the other books, you really should!

What would you do if you could see the past? What would you do if you could see the future? In Love and Omens by Carrie Pulkinen the main characters, Sydney and Blake each have one of these gifts. I enjoyed this book but Carrie Pulkinen. Her plot line takes you on a roller coaster ride with emotions. Sydney, for me is relatable. She keeps her pose even though she can see the future of the person she is speaking too. Blake can see the past, which I find interesting because you can get a lot of back knowledge of the person or situation. There is a mystery afoot and Blake and Sydney team together to solve it. Will Blake and Sydney figure out everything in time? Will they rekindle their romance? This is one story you will have to read to find out these answers and much more.,

A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen is another great job in the series and maybe my favourite so far. It is a sweet romance story with magic and shifters, witches and other things that normally go bump in the night. I fell in love with Bekah and Shane and the world that Carrie has created for us.

Shane wants to quit the band but his bandmates have other things in mind. Running to what he thinks is a call for help turns into something much more sinister. The only thing he can remember is a name, a name he know somewhere deep inside. What happens when the magic turns bad?

Bekah thought she met the man of her dreams but it seems he is just like everyone else. That is until he turns up many miles away from where they first met and right at her doorstep. She suddenly realises that something bad has happened to him and she sets out to help him in any way she can.

A great quick read.

By: Carrie Pulkinen
5 out of 5 stars

The story A Song to Remember: A Crescent City Wolf Pack Novella (Mystifying Music Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen is a wonderful paranormal/werewolf book. It hooked me from the very beginning, and I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved reading about the characters of Shane and Bekah. There is a deep connection between them. Shane wonders if Bekah could be his fated mate. His wolf is sure. Shane also finds himself in danger and without his memory. His bandmates believe him to be a liability to their plans. Love is a powerful emotion and even with no memory, Shane finds himself at Bekah’s café. Can Bekah help Shane regain his memory? How much danger are Shane and Bekah in? What does the future hold for Bekah and Shane? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. I love books that are about werewolves and this one is a wonderful example of why. There are other characters that interact with Bekah and Shane. Many are helpful to the couple and don’t think twice about coming to their aid. Don’t miss out on a story when a handsome band member and the owner of a café find out if they are fated mates. I highly recommend reading it.

Stars-5

I was excited to read book 2 after reading book 1, and it was just as fantastic as the first. Carrie Pulkinen does a wonderful job on leading her readers on adventures with the characters. These adventures are exciting with highs, lows, and a great pace that completely keeps you on your toes and immersed in the storyline. I was happy that Sydney was getting her own story, and found that it isn’t always what it seems. I really enjoyed Blake. I felt that the two characters were well matched together and complemented each other wonderfully. So, if you are looking for a great series/book, look no further. This a great series! Although these can be read as a standalone, it would make the best sense when read in order.

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours, #2)Love & Omens by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love & Omens by Carrie Pulkinen is the second book in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series. I recommend reading the first book in the series before this one because there are some recurring characters and background which help with this one. Sydney Park works for Crescent City Ghost Tours and there are some changes coming including new tours. The new tour is ending at the Museum of the Macabre and is owned by someone from her past, Blake Beaumont.
This is a fun series set in the alluring and mysterious New Orleans. The setting adds to the story and helps to keep everything a bit spooky. I really liked Sydney in the first book and am glad she is the focus of this book. She is a strong character and knows what’s up. Blake is great and he is a nice offset from Sydney. The two work well together and I wanted everything to come together for them. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future and seeing more of the Crescent City Ghost Tours.

I would give this book five out of five stars. This is the second book in the series, can be perfectly stand alone. I did read the first one and loved the encounters with Sydney so when I saw this was her story I got excited. Sydney is definitely a spit fire, she dances to the beat of her own drum, and I loved every second of this book. I did enjoy Blake’s character as well, he was well rounded and definitely a dreamy read. I loved the plot and twists and turns that presented themselves. There were definitely times where I wished I could jump in and tie all the pieces together for the characters. I was easily captivated and fell in love with New Orleans more than I already was. There is just a way that the city and characters are written that the city comes alive in the pages.

I am a huge fan of ghost hunting shows so I couldn’t wait to read Love & Omens, book 2 in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series by author Carrie Pulkinen. I was not disappointed at all, this book was right up my alley. I did not read the first book in this series and I had absolutely no problem following along as each book is about a different couple.
Sydney Park is a tour guide with Crescent City tours who gets premonitions making her the perfect guide. She considers her gift a curse, so when she has a vision of a funeral she automatically fears the worst especially when her college sweetheart enters the picture after 8 years with his own agenda. Who does Sydney’s vision concern? Is her former flame the one she is meant to be with? Read the book and find out! You won’t regret it!

Love & Omens by Carrie Pulkinen is the second book in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series. After reading the first book I knew roughly what to expect from this book however I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
I really found myself connecting with these 2 characters. From the moment I started reading about them it felt like I was sharing their journey with them. Their abilities felt so different from each other and yet at the same time completely relatable to the other.
The story was well developed and interesting. More than once I found myself reading quicker and quicker because I wanted to read more of it. While I enjoyed the first book I have to say this one definitely stole the show for me. I am so excited to see what else is to come from this series!

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours, #2)Love & Omens by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love & Omens is the second book in Carrie Pulkinen’s Crescent City Ghost Tours where she gives a next romantic paranormal story in the city of magic (well, at least I think that NOLA is the city of magic!). The story takes us on a rollercoaster ride that has chills running down your spine! Sidney and Blake are a couple that seem a match made in heaven – Sidney can see the future and Blake can read the past so you would think that they have it covered!
Be prepared for the story that leaves you breathless, it goes so fast that you feel like you got a whiplash and you feel like heck, what happened now! Add to it the Mardi Gras atmosphere and the history the two have and you will be swept away while keeping your fingers crossed that these two make it!
In addition to Sidney and Blake there is a number of other characters that I hope the writer will bring back in the next story (as we met Sidney in the first book series and she became the heroine of the second one)! So welcome to the Crescent City and the Ghost Tours!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love and Omens by Carrie Pulkinen a spellbinding five-star read, this is number two in the Cresent City Ghost Tour series and this continues to show us what a great series it is. It could be read as stand-alone, but it is best read as part of the series in my eyes as you build on the world and get to see the follow on for Emily and Sean, but they aren’t the main attraction in this one, that goes to Blake and Syd they steal the show in this instalment. This series really does drag you in, giving you the mystery and romance that makes a great story. The fact that Blake and Syd have a past just added an extra layer to the story, the chemistry alone is worthy of a massive reaction. Throw in haunting emotions and Madi Gras and you have a winner.

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen is a paranormal romance story that is a quick but enjoyable read. I would read the first book in this series before this one as it will give you background information on some of the characters. I really enjoyed the first one but this one was even better. Being able to see the future is not all it is cracked up to be and trying to decipher what the visions mean can almost make you go mad. Throw that in with an ex who is back on the scene, one you never stopped loving, a crazy stalker and a wronged husband and you are in for a wild journey as Carrie weaves it all together to make a very vivid tale. I also enjoy that we get to learn more of the wonderful characters that make up the team.

This is another amazing story from Carrie Pulkinen! She is able to pull in the sights and sounds of The Big Easy making them into a wonderfully interesting and thrilling story. It amazes me how the characters don’t seem afraid but I’m not sure I could live in the museum. I understood Blake nervousness at times. I also loved the whole Wonderland theme throughout! Very cool!

I loved getting Sydney’s story. Blake seems like the perfect guy for her and he seamlessly fits into the story. This also introduces some new characters…Claire—-GAH! We also get to see the ghost/tour crew again and see what they have been up to.

This story surprised me and gave me shivers all at the same time. I loved that! That makes me want to keep reading for the shock value plus the romance story. I look forward to more from these characters.

PS…I didn’t realize that the Macey we meet here is the same Macey from her other series til the note at the end. Great Crossover!

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours, #2)Love & Omens by Carrie Pulkinen

Love & Omens is the second book in the Crescent City Ghost Tours series by Carrie Pulkinen. You will notice while reading my review, that the word “love” is used frequently- I apologize (sorry not sorry)! But I freaking LOVE this book/series!!!
The first book, Love & Ghosts was completely captivating- so there was no way I was missing this instalment. I couldn’t wait for it to release, and as with the first one, I was absolutely thrilled to finally get my hands on it.
This is a fantastic paranormal romance- with ghosts, second chances, visions, omens, supernatural elements, new beginnings, paranormal investigations, mystery, suspense, action, danger, drama, obsession, and plenty of sizzle….. which is all set against the vibrant, colourful and mystical backdrop that is New Orleans.
I really didn’t think it was possible to love a book more than I loved the first instalment- so I had incredibly high expectations for this story. But, we are talking Carrie Pulkinen here, so it’s no real surprise that she absolutely nailed it!! I love this story just as much as the first, if not more.
The characters are fully realised, interesting, and endearing individuals, who really brought this story to life. I particularly love that there are recurring characters from book one, who we get to ‘catch up with’ as well (and even one from another loved series). They were really interesting and very well developed. I love Sydney and Blake- OMG they were just soooo perfect together, even if they tried to resist their chemistry at the beginning. I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through! And I love how Ms. Pulkinen kept the tension levels turned up to ‘high’- ramping up the suspense and weaving in a few twists as well. It kept me glued to the pages- avidly reading along to discover how everything would play out. The ‘action’ and intensity were exhilarating- but it was the emotive quality and the camaraderie between the characters which really gave the story an added depth- and making it truly memorable.
I have said this before, and I will say it again here: I have a severe addiction to Ms. Pulkinen’s work- and it’s one that I am more than happy to indulge- no rehab needed, EVER! She’s definitely one of my favourite authors, and I will never get enough of her work! I’m so looking forward to the next book!

Thank you, Ms. Pulkinen!

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen

5-Stars

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen was a romantic and fun read. Sydney and Blake once dated in the past and meet again when the Crescent City Ghost Tours decides to take on a partner. They want to add a haunted museum with artifacts from murders. An ominous vision distracts Syd from the conversation with her boss regarding adding Blake and she is shocked upon seeing him. Things happen and the two must work together to figure out how her vision is tied into someone’s death. Can they figure it out before death stakes it’s claim?
The characters in this novel were amazing. Sydney was a strong heroine with a spunky attitude. She stood her ground in tough situations and went for what she desired. Blake was also an excellent main male character. He was hunky, down to earth, and fun. These two also had amazing gifts. I loved seeing them come together and work with the team.
The storyline also had great flow and was easy to follow. I was hooked immediately from the beginning. This book is the second in this series but could easily be read as a standalone. Significant events that played a part for this book were mentioned in the storyline to keep readers from becoming confused. Having read the first novel and this one as well I do recommend reading them both. This book was amazing and such a fun read. I highly recommend it.

LOVE & OMENS is the second book in the “Crescent City Ghost Tours Series” and I think it would be beneficial to read book 1 (LOVE AND GHOSTS) first. There are characters that play a role in book 2 that we met in book 1.

Set in New Orleans, LOVE & OMENS tells the story of a woman who can see the future and a man who can see the past. They have a pull to each other that cannot be explained and yet cannot be avoided. There are a couple of different stories swirling around all at the same time.

The writing is detailed, the story flows well from beginning to end and at times I was grateful I wasn’t alone in my house. I’ve been on a ghost tours before as I live near Salem MA and I would absolutely go to Crescent City and take a tour.

Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen. It just keeps getting better! I will say these books can be read as a stand-alone without any confusion but I do highly recommend the first story also and the characters are entwined also. So first and foremost let me just start by saying I was so completely drawn into Blake and Sydney’s story. I got so wrapped up I lost track of time and before I knew I’d been up ready late into the night because I couldn’t put it down. I love a story I can sink into and this author does just that with the story world she created. The characters are complex and relatable, each bringing something unique to the story. I love the mix of suspense, romance and paranormal and this author found just the right amount of each. It kept me on my toes and I loved every minute of it. I love the attention to even the smallest details making the story jump off the pages and come alive before your eyes. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and I highly recommend not only this series but this author!

5 out of 5 stars

The story Love & Omens (Crescent City Ghost Tours Book 2) by Carrie Pulkiene is the next amazing story is a wonderful series. First off, I love books that are based in New Orleans. The city has a mystery and charm about it that I have not found in other locations. I also loved the storyline and the characters. Sydney Park and Blake Beaumont are wonderful to read about. The story has Blake joining forces with a tour company and Sydney. Not only does he want to join as a partner, but he also sees a chance to restart the relationship that he has with her. The story is full of mystery and has an atmosphere that takes you in the world of the unknown. What will happen when situations happen that could cause danger to both Sydney, Blake, and those around them? Will Blake and Sydney rekindle their relationship? What does the future hold for Blake, Sydney and the tour company? Read this book to find out. The story has emotional moments and my emotions went up and down with the characters. I grew to care about Sydney and Blake and wanted them to be happy. There are additional characters that interact with Sydney and Blake which I enjoyed reading about. This is a book that came to an end far too soon. I look forward to the next one in the series. I highly recommend this book and series.
