This is the 4th book in the Broderick Coven series. This is a Paranormal Witch Romance novel and is 222 pages in length. This story follows Carter and Vanessa. What a page turner! New threats enter the lives of Lucy, Marcus, and Dylan. Lucy and Dylan train harder than ever, Marcus learns more about himself, and new characters are introduced. The character developments, plot, and details are incredible. You’ll be on the edge of your seat and dying to read the next book by the end!

Cursed Touch is the fourth book in the Broderick Coven series by AJ Renee. If you are new to this series I would say you could easily read this as a standalone story, but you will meet characters from previous books along the way, so starting from book one makes this even more enjoyable.
In Cursed Touch, we meet Carter and Vanessa. Carter is a Doctor, he is part of the Broderick Coven as he has healing powers. Carter meets Vanessa in the ER when she accompanies her neighbour with a ‘dog bite’. Vanessa is open-minded and curious about the supernatural world. She is sure there is more to this situation than meets the eye and she wants to learn more. When Vanessa meets Carter, the attraction is instant and he soon becomes her protector as she digs deeper into the supernatural world.
I really enjoyed this fourth addition to the series. As with the previous books, the story is full of humour, romance, and plenty of action. The characters are realistic and likeable, they keep you hooked and needing to know what happens. I finished this book wanting more and looking forward to the next book in the series.

Sweet Nightmares is the first book in The Dream World Chronicles by Chynna Pace. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Pace- so I was intrigued by what lay between these covers. I was drawn to the book by the gorgeous cover, and the intriguing blurb. Life takes a strange turn for Alex when her mother dies and she and her sister move in with their grandmother. She soon discovers that things are not what they seem, and there is a whole different world she never knew existed. Nightmares are real! She is introduced to a deadly and dangerous new reality, where she will need to embrace her destiny in order to overcome the obstacles that are thrust upon her. This is a YA fantasy, full of paranormal elements, magic, self-discovery, prophecy, danger, destiny, nightmares, action, adventure, and more. The story lost momentum and got a bit slow at times, and it took me quite a while to connect with the character/s- but I am curious to see what Book #2 has in store for us.

Vanessa and the Don have a winding tale that is really just something you fall in love with! It’s quirky and fun and exciting all rolled into one and Hazel storm did another excellent job with this book! Love it so much and can’t wait to see more from her!! As the second installment in the series this book definatelt held up to the first! I have loved the Her Three Immortals series so far!!

I love where this series is going! I would definitely read these books in order, as you would be missing out on many details that I think are needed to understand the story. Elysium honestly sounds like a fun time, well once Vanessa can get some color back into it. I think its sweet she gets to reconnect with some family members that have already gone, and meet new family she didn’t know she had. Grey is a big tool and doesn’t treat her the best ones they get to Elysium but Vanessa, with her sweet and amazing self can change that. I am still concerned for her and Raef’s relationship and wondering when Aroz will come into play. I can’t wait until the next book to see what kind of drama comes next. I have a feeling we are going to see Grey’s mother, who sounds like a total B word, come in and try to ruin everything.

I was sucked into this story immediately. My first book with this author and it did not disappoint. Not a really long book – I was finished within a couple of hours. I immediately looked up the other books in the series. She has a couple of series that overlap. So I have already started the other series. First, the hero is on the villain’s side in this world of half-human half-dragon beings we are introduced to. He knows what’s going down, and he is having issues with it. Especially when one of the kidnapped females has caught his attention. Natalie is a spunky heroine who takes her fate into her own hands. I will say that this book ends kind of on a cliffhanger, but I wasn’t unhappy with ending. Go grab this one!!

Vanessa is so incredibly funny. Picking up right where we we left off in The Don, Vanessa finds herself in Elysium with a not too happy Grey. While she finds new companions, she navigates the judges’ intent in bringing her there and tries to avoid drawing the attention of Grey’s mother, the Queen of the Underworld. Ultimately leading to a great setup for the next installment. I can’t wait.

The one thing fifteen-year-old Alex Rokosz has endlessly craved is a family. So when her mother’s death forces her and her sister to move in with Matilda, the grandmother they never knew they had, Alex hopes to bond with her and find out what happened to her missing father. Instead she encounters numerous oddities at her new house, including Kacper, her grandmother’s suspicious seventeen-year-old housemate. But things get even stranger when Alex catches Matilda and Kacper slaying a real-life nightmare. Overnight, she is swept into a world where sleeping is dangerous, nightmares are real, and imagination is magic. She discovers there’s more to her family than she realized – and her own destiny is far greater than she ever imagined.
Chynna Pace is an author of YA and middle-grade fantasy, paranormal, and suspense stories. She loves writing tales about young heroes who are thrust into worlds full of magic, monsters and mystery, often forced to face their greatest fears and confront their deepest secrets. Her debut novel, Sweet Nightmares, is the first in a whimsically dark series about dreams, nightmares, and the warriors who fight them. When she’s not busy planning her next story adventure, Chynna can be found reading, painting, crocheting, and spending time with her family in the magical North Georgia mountains.

The God is book 2 in Hazel Storm’s Her Three Immortals series. I loved book 1 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on book 2. Vanessa is back and giving Grey a run for his money! There is so much going on but I loved diving into the continuation of this story.
After her appearance in the underworld, Grey leaves her alone in his Penthouse telling her that she doesn’t belong there. But she doesn’t have anywhere else to go. Grey is doing what he can to keep her at arms length. He knows that if he lets himself get to close his vow to abstain will not last.
My heart breaks for the situation that Raef is in, missing the girl that he loves. I want to throttle Grey for being so rude. And I haven’t come to a firm conclusion yet for how I feel about Aroz. What I do know, is that Vanessa is coming out of her cocoon, if you will, and is amazing. Who will feel threatened and how will they react?

Really enjoyed this next part in the story, after The Girl and the Raven. We learn lots more about these awesome characters, and see a few new ones as well. Is it wrong I am still kind of rooting for Dylan to get between the girl and her Gargoyle? I know the Gargoyle is meant to be a protective beast, but Marcus sometimes veers into the controlling for me. Or maybe I just like the bad boy? I digress. Lucy gets to know dear old dad a lot better, and his character is a lot more nuanced in this book. The plot is great, full of action, and I really enjoyed it. This is a great series I will enjoy following.

Carrie Pulkinen killed this book in the best way! Supernatural and spooky with all the sass! I was so in love right from the start! Narration was awesome and easy to listen to! 10 out of 10 I wish I could give this more stars! The push and pull of the main characters was perfect! Definately worth the listen!

Carter and the talented Vanessa make for an amazing addition to the series and book 4 doesn’t hold back! I keep saying this but AJ Renee has my heart. I just appreciate and love an author who can make you feel, take you to another place, and also leave you feeling like you learned something! As always she put put another well rounded heavy hitter and it was another tale I couldn’t help but read from start to finish! At this rate I’m going to have to read slower or she’s going to have to write faster! She has easily expanded my love for the Paranormal tenfold and she has me hanging on her every word. Job well done on yet another amazing addition to the Broderick Coven series! Book after book we fall more in love with the characters and theyre dynamic as a family and the new flames🧡

In the 3rd installment of the Broderick Coven we get to hear the story of Max and Claudia and if you’re wondering how we can hit a 3rd book and it still be good… It is. No question. Still amazing. I’m over the moon with this author and how well she spins the tale. She has truly created an alternate universe for those of us who love the Paranormal and I hope she never quits! I could read them all over and over again. If you’re into Paranormal romance and action look no further than this book and the whole series!

There was no doubt in my mind book two of the Broderick Coven series was going to be a knockout. AJ Renee is GOALS as a wannabe author. She spins an incredible tale with action, adventure, and romance. Allowing you to go through all the emotions! The story of Ethan and Serena was one I just couldn’t put down! As always the author has outdone herself, such a balanced fun read that leaves you wanting more, more, more!

I adore this entire series! I’ve been waiting to read this and my word it did not disappoint. I love Vanessa and Carter so much. They met by chance when she went to the ER. Carter is a doctor because of his ability and just love for healing people in general. Vanessa is a jewelry maker with a curiosity about the supernatural world. The same world that is about to take notice of her. I just enjoyed the mystery, drama, love and just the entire community in general. I so loved watching their love story play out and I just could not get enough. I can not recommend this story enough! I highly suggest reading the entire series!! You will not be disappointed! I can not wait for Cursed Luck!

This is the second book of this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first. I highly suggest reading the first book as well to help enhance your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story about just how complicated things can get when you are dating a demon enemy who is also a gargoyle and you are half-witch and half-demon. Lucy and Marcus are about to find out. What will happen when his family comes back and they all want something different for him. But he has one determination and that is to save Lucy and her father but this is where a problem comes in, she has a plan for herself. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. They are great, strong characters that not only bring the story to life but also kept it engaging. This is a fast paced story that kept me turning pages to the end. It is full of action and worth the pick up!

Sylvia Black is sure to deliver and I usually never bother reading the synopsis when I see her name pop up. Her name is enough for me to know it’s going to be GOOD. Master Descallia did NOT disappoint. Such a gripping novel with moments where I found myself saying “what!!! Oh yes she went there”. The story of Salvatore and Luce is one I won’t be forgetting for a while! Stellar job as always Sylvia Black!

The Girl and the Gargoyle is a page-turning second novel in The Girl and the Raven Series. Pauline Gruber has continued this story with a new twist. Lucy a half-witch/half-demon teenager is once again in the spotlight. With Seamus still looking to destroy her, Lucy is hoping that is all she will have to deal with in her life since moving to Chicago. To help alleviate this as a potential threat, Jude, Lucy’s demon father, begins to train her to use her demon powers.
However much she wants to enjoy going to school, studying, and sitting on the roof with Marcus, her gargoyle boyfriend, fate has another path planned. Marcus’s mother, Clementine, and his biological father, Garret, come to stay in Chicago. Clementine’s desire is for Marcus to join the gargoyle clan with his father, who is the lead protector. Lucy is terrified that this is exactly what will happen, and she will lose her chance at happiness with Marcus if he moves away.
Garret has come to Chicago to complete a mission. That mission is to take out Jude. Jude is a powerful demon. The problem with this that Lucy discovers is that if a demon dies so does his progeny. With her life held in the balance, Lucy works with her allies to make a plan to stop Greyson. Will her efforts be enough?

This is the 4th book in the Broderick Covern. These books just keep getting better with each addition. I love the mix of magic, supernatural beings and romance. The characters are well written and even the paranormal/magical elements in this story are written so well that they are believable.
In this book we follow the romance between Vanessa and Carter.
Carter is a member of the Broderick Coven. His gift is the ability to heal people which makes his job working in a hospital a perfect choice for him. Things in his life seem settled until Vanessa comes into his life.
Vanessa meets Carter when she takes her neighbour to the hospital for a “dog bite”. The attraction between them is instant but neither knows anything the other apart from the fact they have this connection and they can’t forget each other. Could Vanessa be Carter’s mate?
Vanessa is human but she knows there is more happening in the world that humans. She is aware of supernatural beings but has no proof. As she keeps searching she comes to the attention of people who want her to stop and now her life is in danger.
Can Carter protect Vanessa from the danger thats out to get her? Can Vanessa actually handle the truth of her new normal or will the revelations about supernatural beings be too much for her to take?

The Girl and the Gargoyle is a YA paranormal romance and the second book in The Girl and the Raven by Pauline Gruber. Before starting this book, you should read the first book The Girl and The Raven and in quick succession as there is a lot of layers. It is a quick read, and I definitely enjoyed it. It is original and different to other paranormal romance stories. The characters are also a little different to your straightforward usual paranormal critters. There are demons and witches and gargoyles and an evil father on the hunt. As I said with the first book there are secrets and lies, magic and a wealth of unusual. YA’s will love this book.

I really enjoyed this paranormal mystery romance. This def took some turns I was not expecting! A quicker read than I was expecting too as it kept me so riveted!
I’m not sure I fall for the insta-lust between Luce and Salvatore, but I did enjoy the attraction to one another and mystical the connection they had. I enjoyed that it was more of a slow burn romance with sexual tension building. I also enjoyed the twist on who Luce could be and why she hates the nickname Lucy.
Some BDSM or Dom/Sub vibes but not overtly BDSM.
I really liked Luce’s growing friendship and working relationship with Clay, Terrence, Silver, and Lucas. I also enjoyed scenes with Embry and the levity she brings to a fairly dark story.
Trigger warning for abduction and attempted trafficking of women.

This was another great read by this author. I have come to enjoy her books quite a bit. It was a different twist on how one views the God’s of Olympus. Kathryn Gataki has stolen the heart of Hermes as well as his caduceus staff. It’s harmless though right? It’s all in good fun so he thinks, until he finds out who is truly behind the theft. All those years ago what he thought was a harmless trick on the God of the Wild has seriously come back to bite him in the butt. Will he be able to get his caduceus back from Pan in order for Kat’s life to be spared?

The God is book 2 in Her Three Immortals series written by Hazel Storm follows on from the first book The Don we continue with Vanessa and Grey. The characters are great and strong minded and the way they play of each other is awesome. This is a sexy paranormal reverse-harem romance, with a very captivating storyline that I enjoyed a lot… Vanessa has sold her soul to the don of the underworld and now she is stuck alone in his penthouse and it would be all good but Grey stormed off because he doesn’t want her there. Right before Grey whisked her to the underworld Aroz shot one of his arrows at her and missed now she is covered in gold dust. But she doesn’t feel a thing she definitely doesn’t love Grey. Can Grey and Vanessa overcome their obstacles. Can Vanessa get back to Raef or will she be stuck? All three gods are jot why should Vanessa choose.. I highly recommend this book/series…

Whew, I’d love to see this one on the big screen. Serious movie material right here. I want to see Salvatore’s eyes go from black to red!! Anyone else? I really love the characters and the action in this novel. Luce is my kind of heroine – from her choice of coffee to her instinct to protect and serve. She felt like someone I could walk into a precinct and meet. Salvatore is your Mr. Tall, Dark and Powerful, but is taken down by some green crystalline eyes. He has got that vampire sexiness down. The action started right off with women coming up missing. It’s a great read with a great mix of several elements.

Great Vampire read! I love the dual POVs of Salvatore and Lucianna. Salvatore is a vampire and head of the Vampire Overlord Consulate. Lucianna is a police officer assigned to a case where women go missing. When a robbery at Salvatore’s casino goes wrong, Salvatore must rescue Lucianna from death. They must work as a team to figure out about the missing women before its to late. I love how this story flows and the sparks between Lucianna and Salvatore! Cannot wait to read book 2!

I was pulled in right from the beginning. I had a couple of late nights with this book.
Salvatore is the overlord of the consulate of master, he finds out that women are coming up missing in Las Vegas, and he is on his way there to try and figure out what is going on. He gets some intell that he finds very interesting. Lucianna has been given an undercover assignment, she is also a clairvoyant. Salvatores club is the first one that her team focuses on. When she meets Salvatore things get very interesting. She quickly becomes a challenging distraction for Salvatore. There is a twist that causes Salvatore to make a choice about Lucianna’s life. Will he make the right one?
Overall this was a great and thrilling read. I loved the characters and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next in the series. The chemistry between them was great. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. 1-click and get started today on this great new series.

Master Descallia (Masters of the Consulate Book 1) by Sylvia Black is one of the most amazing novella’s I have ever read. When I first saw the cover of this book the colors and the font of the title drew me right away, combine that with the blurb I read about it and I just new I had to read this book. Ms. Black gives us amazing characters, great scenery, and a story that will have you on the edge of your seat from chapter one. While this book is twenty-five chapters the story itself is so full of drama, suspense, and add in some erotic scenes and you won’t be able to put it down.
