Breaking Traditions: The Shifter And The Mage By Madilynn Dale 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Breaking Traditions: The Shifter And The Mage by Madilynn Dale. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. I loved reading about the characters of Natalie and Alex. Natalie is a young woman who is a shifter and dreams of operating a bakery. She is intelligent, independent, and kind. She also comes from a family that follows traditions even if what they want is the opposite of what Natalie wants. Alex is a mage who falls for Natalie from the first time that they meet. He finds himself with an unusual bond to her. Will Alex and Natalie be able to break traditions to be together? It seems that there is a lot stacked against them. What does the future hold for Natalie and Alex? Read this book to find out. I love paranormal stories and this book is a good example of the reason why. The author makes the characters come alive. When reading the book, I felt like I was right there with them. There are other additional characters that I loved reading about who are friendly and helpful to both Alex and Natalie. The story has heartwarming moments as well as romantic ones as well. Don’t miss out on an entertaining story that you won’t want to put down until the ending page. I highly recommend reading it.

Dead Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells
This book drew me in from the beginning and kept me intrigued and engaged throughout. I loved reading about Finn and Violet, the way they push each other’s buttons and their attraction is off the charts no matter how forbidden it is. This book is full of action, magic, witches, vampires, friendships, danger, love, and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat through so much of this story, I just couldn’t put it down until I found out what was going to happen. Of course our favorite characters from the previous books are still with us in this one. You will absolutely want to read this awesome book. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

I give Dare Me: A Paranormal Demon Romance (The Demonology Series Book 1) by Felicity Brandon, 4 stars.
This is a paranormal erotic story involving a down on her luck artist. She can’t seem to pull herself out of the misery she is in. This is perfect fodder for a demon who thrives on misery. But there is something else about this mortal that he just can’t give up.
This story has a lot of sex and steamy scenes. It also tends to lean heavily on the slave/master type of sex. If that is not your thing, this may not be for you. However, if you enjoy this, you will definitely enjoy this book. Selling your soul to the devil to become famous has been around for as long as there have been forms of entertainment. That is what the author uses as her basis, and spins her on tale from there.
If you are a fan of dominant demons and submissive mortals in a dance of love and sex, this book may just be for you.

Finn is one of the oldest vampires to walk the earth. Violet is a witch whose parents have been killed by vampires. You would think Violet would stay away from FInn but nope she is connected to him by blood. Can their blood bond keep them safe from what is going on in the world? Will the dark magic overpower Violet and Finn? This book is the third book in the The Sanctuary Chronicles and I believe it is the best book of the series. India Kells will amaze you with the vivid scenery and character development. The story keeps you turning the pages because you want to know what is coming next. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I highly recommend this series to see if love wins.

This dark romantic fantasy is a short read at only seventy eight pages but it’s a complete story and is a gripping read. Vashti has grown weary of the grief and loneliness that has plagued her since her husbands death a year before and for the first time she leaves the sanctuary of her mansion to venture into town. Meanwhile Absalom is left homeless having learnt that his girlfriend has cheated on him. When the two meet Vashti feels compelled to offer Absalom a room in her mansion. Vashti is looking for companionship and Absalom is keen to except the offer even if it does come with a strangely specific contract. Things are going well for both Vashti and Absalom until Simeon, Absalom’s friend appears and brings with him unwanted drama. Vashti has always longed for privacy and has worked hard to protect it and suddenly this is endangered. Absalom can see everything that he’s built with Vashti beginning to crumble. When lives are threatened Vashti comes up with a solution but this will change both their lives forever. I found myself hooked from the beginning of this story, Vashti and Absalom are great characters and their emotions really came through in the narrative. The whole story had a dark atmospheric feel to it and I could not put it down.

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles, Book 3) by India Kells
5 Stars
Before I go any further I must comment on this cover..Holy Moly how beautiful is this?? Even if this wasn’t already one of my favorite authors EVER, I would have read this book because of the cover.
So now that that’s out of the way.. I loved this book, not surprising because I love all of India’s books. The Sanctuary Chronicles series sits up as one of my favorite series and I couldn’t wait to get Finn’s story. Who doesn’t love a Vampire / Witch story, especially when filled with every emotion possible. I sat down with this on a break and that break lasted till I was reading the last word.
You could, I suppose read this as a stand alone, but don’t do that, the characters throughout the series come in and out and I’m so thankful I have the others already in my head. I can not wait for book 4 and have also decided to read all of these again before the next comes out.

Finn and Violet! Now this book can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend you read the other two books in the series, to meet the other characters and to see how Finn and Violet have grown since then. Finn is an extremely old vampire and Violet a powerful witch. It was sad to see how Finn wanted to give up and end his life, but of course I love that Violet is what makes him feel again, and makes him want to keep going, she is his light. It was a nice twist to see that Violet did not trust and was leery of vampires because they killed her parents. And just like in the previous book, a vampire and witch can’t be together, the laws that govern the supernatural will not allow it, but of course they overcome those obstacles and it is exciting, dangerous and fun to watch their relationship move along. There are so many more crazy things that happen with this couple, you do not want to miss out. I have been in love with this series and I can’t wait to see what India Kells will come out with next!

Heart Of Malice is the first book in the Alice Worth series by Lisa Edmonds. This book had me hooked from the first page. The witty dialog and strong plot line has me wondering how the rest of this series is going to play out. Alice is a strong women who is atoning for her past. I think she is going to grow into a strong heroine. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Edmunds but definitely won’t be the last. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Heart of Malice is the first book in the Alice Worth series. And, I have to say that the series is off to a great start!
The first chapter starts out with action which sucks you right into the story. I liked the unique way the ghost is portrayed in chapter two. I also found the interaction between the ghost and Alice amusing. Alice sort of reminds me of Jessica Jones.
Something I’m wondering about is how the author decided on what is in the Supernatural and Paranormal Entity Registration Act. I’d be interested to know what went into that process. It’s a good detail that adds a more realistic feel to the story.
All of that rambling to say, this is a good read. The only thing I wish had been different is that Alice demonstrated more of her power. And, maybe that changes in subsequent books as the character grows. I’ll have to read and see.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the vampire and witch love story and also the romance and intimacy that is so well written you feel every emotion.
This is the 3rd book in The Sanctuary Chronicles series. It follows the story of Violet and Finn.
Finn is an ancient vampire who ends up being connected to Violet after he drank from her. Finn has feelings for the witch but he cannot act on them so decides to leave. That is until through his link with Violet he realises she is in pain and danger.
After finding her she is a shell of herself with no idea what happened to her. With Violet feeling her magic has gone she doesnt know where to turn. That is until Finn offers to help her retrace her steps to find out who kidnapped her and why.
Together they go on a journey that involves danger as the story unfolds and along the way their connection and feelings get stronger for each other.
Will Finn leave after this mystery is solved or will the little witch capture his heart for good.

A.K. Morgen is a new author to me but after reading the synopsis I couldn’t wait to find out more from this read, and what this author is all about. This book is part of a series, but having not read Book 1 I wouldn’t have known any different, this book flows on its own and it thoroughly captivated me from the very beginning. It’s a fast-paced read that left me wanting more. I was drawn to this read having the mythology side to it and then with it being Norse mythology, it was a no brainer for me. This read definitely takes you on an emotional rollercoaster one that I didn’t want to end, I loved following these characters journeys. With this vivid and mentally visual read its one not to be missed, I can’t wait to go back and read Book 1 and totally love these characters all over again! I can’t wait to read more from this series and what else this author brings us.

I had no issues connecting with them and I enjoyed them alot! Our main characters attends an academy that is suppose to protect her but she has ememies everywhere and she has to decide who is an enemy and who isn’t. Secrets must be kept. And she works hard to do so. I cannot wait til I can get my hands on more by this author, I am looking forward to it! Happy Reading!

Fall: The Ragnarök Prophesies: #2 by A.K. Morgen is a paranormal fantasy, coupled with Norse mythology. This book takes off right where the last one, Fade left off and it moves at a much slower pace. It focuses on the mythology more and the thoughts and emotions that the characters are working through, sometimes a little too much. In this story we get more backstory in to Ari and Dace’s past lives and AK gives us some side plots that keep you on your toes. In true AK fashion she leaves us hanging for the next instalment.

Holy guacamole! I jumped into this one face first, without having read book one, and was overwhelmed by the sheer emotion of the journey (in a beautiful way). Heavy on Norse mythology – which I loved – this book felt epic and relatable. Having read some of the other reviews I realize that my love of this book would probably even be enhanced if I had read book one – which is on my to do list. All in all, a beautiful read. I didn’t feel as though I was at a loss without book one so it does stand well on its own – but I will be grabbing it ASAP all the same.

I sit here writing this review minutes after finishing this read, and I’m not happy… I’m so frustrated that you ended this book with that ending!
I can’t believe you will now make me wait to found out the fate of not just one character but six of the most important characters in this book! This read had me completely and utterly captivated and entranced from the get-go until the very end! I read this book in one sitting and all I could think about was wanting more!
This book was mentally visual and had transported into this world in which we follow Gabriella’s story. From the moment we meet her I loved her, and throughout the read that just grows, but put her with her two best friends and you can’t help but like her even more, but then comes along Finn, and well that’s a whole other story that you will need to read and find out!
This was an epic fantasy read with characters that are unforgettable and a story that captivates you. We have Second Chance Love, Romance, Friendship, Action, Adventure, Suspense, Heartache, Sadness, Pain, Humor and much more. Gabriella & Finn were definitely on another level from the moment they meet, you can tell nothing will ever be the same again for either of them or their journey they will take. They have an undeniable chemistry that only continues to grow as the story moves forward. But I don’t want to say too much on them, as that would definitely spoil the brilliance of this read!
You will never be bored with this read, it will have you at times on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next and even when that happens something else knocks you back again!
I loved every second of this read and I really need to know what happens next! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next read & you will too! Don’t miss this read!

I loved reading the book The Widow: A Dark Romantic Fantasy by Naomi Valkyrie & Rebecca E. McEwen. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn’t stop until I finished. It is a story that is dark & mysterious. It is well developed and has characters which made the story pop and easy to read. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Vashti and Absalom. Vashti is grieving over the loss of her husband. Absalom is a young man who doesn’t have a place to call home. The way the book is written I could feel the emotions of Vashti and Absalom. Read this book to find out what happens. Don’t miss out on a story that is this entertaining. I would highly recommend reading it.

5 Stars
This is my 2nd book by this team of authors and I loved it! The beginning of the book had me literally feeling everything that was going through Vashti’s mind..Her emotions jumped off the pages and were written beautifully! Vashti’s character building might just be up there with some of the best. I truly felt like I knew her, and I could actually see everything she was seeing. This was awesome!!
As the story progressed and other players were brought into the mix, I found myself so engrossed in this story that I could not put it down, and truly did not want it to end. I knew there was more to everything than what I was seeing, I just kept waiting for it. The subtle way this story revealed itself was nothing short of perfection.
These two authors are amazing together and the way they reel you in is so much fun and even though you think you know what’s coming, and even though you might be right, it’s still a surprise when all plays out. I dont have the words to explain all of this correctly but just know that this is a must read, I loved it and will be reading it again, and my hope is that these 2 authors keep going…They are fiercely talented!

Dare Me: A Paranormal Demon Romance is the first book in the Demonology series by Felicity Brandon. I have read a few of Ms. Brandon’s books before- and LOVED them- but this is my first paranormal romance from her. She had me at paranormal though- as I love all things paranormal- so add some sizzling romance to the mix and I AM IN!!! I had my one-click finger out before I had even finished reading the blurb. The synopsis read like a check list of every element that you could use to entice me. So, I did wonder if perhaps the blurb may be ‘overselling’ the story ……… and the answer to that question is a resounding- NO! I was wrong! This book is EVERYTHING it claims to be- and more!!! I didn’t just read the story- I devoured it!!! From beginning to end- I was gripped by the story and completely invested in the characters, and the storyline. All the elements for an exciting read are cleverly captured in this story- the supernatural, demons, fantasy, romance, some danger, and dramatic developments are all woven around a very sexy read. Ms. Brandon proves once again just what a talented storyteller and writer she is- tackling any genre with very potent results. I will definitely be following the rest of this series- that’s for sure!!!

Curse of Seduction is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series by CR Robertson. Ilana has thought all along she is a defective vampire, that is until her path crosses with Ezekiel, and now her witch powers have come to light. The Blood Queen cursed the princes of Purgatory centuries ago and now Ezekiel can’t feed without something happening to his prey. The only way to break the curse is to have his witch mate save him, but for the ultimate price. Ilana is determined to save Ezekiel before the curse takes over her. This thrilling paranormal romantic novel was such a good read. I was a little unsure of the story from the start, I wasn’t certain if I would like the storyline, but the cover had me enticed. I was pleasantly surprised, this story turned out to be quite the page turner. I definitely look forward to reading the next book.

This was a great steamy supernatural read. The characters are so well written that even though Raif is a demon you can’t help but love him and his connection with Sara is hot and steamy and gripping.
Raif is a demon from Hell, he wanders the earth looking for mortals to inslave. That is until Sara catches his eye. After being in the shadows and watching her for months he eventually makes his presence know to her. He wants her but he wants her to give herself willingly to him.
Sara is a single woman who has nothing but bad luck. Her mother passed away, her boyfriend left her, her career has nose dived and her landlord has his sights on her. Everything is going wrong and she doesn’t know how she is going to cope. That is until Raif arrives into her life. He promises to make her life better, to give her everything she desires all she has to do is surrender to him. Raif takes control of her life and shows her a side of herself she was unaware of. He allows her to try things that she once thought shameful but being with a demon they have no shame.
Can she become everything Raif is looking for? Can she give herself up to him completely? And will their connection change them both for the worse.

Fall: The Ragnarok Prophecies: #2 by A.K. Morgen is the follow up story to Fade. I would recommend reading these books in order as I felt like I was obviously missing a lot by not having done so myself. The overall story was well written, although it felt like it was a little slow progression wise in places. But this author has created a world that was vivid and easy to imagine. The characters have a lot going on as well. Even without having read book one you can feel their connection and what they have been through. I will definitely be going back and reading book one and I am very much looking forward to seeing what else is to come.

I loved this book. Its a great love story that has elements of war and supernatural beings which i love.
Ezekiel is an incubus (sex demon) his main way of feeding is through sex, however when Ezekiel and the other 3 princes are cursed by Ophelia this simple act turned into something dangerous as everytime he fed off a woman Ophelia would take something from that woman leaving them just a shell.
Because of this Ezekiel refused to feed. The war is ranging between Ophelia and all the demon realms as she trys to take over them using power. Ezekiel sees no hope until Ilana came into his life.
Ilana has grown up thinking she was half vampire, half human however that proves to be a lie when she starts to show that she has magical powers. With her increasing magical powers and her love and attraction to Ezekiel could she be the one to break the spell on the 4 dark princes and finally defeat Ophelia? Or will she end up just a shell of the woman she was.

The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor 2) by Shannon Nemechek
5 Stars
This book starts right where book one ends. I could not wait to get my hands on this one. I love time travel and Miss Nemechek has so far hit this series out of the ballpark. I love it.
Not going into any of the storyline because of how book 1 ended and I don’t want to give anything away, just know you must read these in order to get the full effect.
I loved this book as much as I loved the first one and already can not wait for the next. It has such a great reading flow, so great in fact I was finished before I knew it. It was a one sitting read because once you get started you can not put it down.

Description: One Commanding Demon. One struggling mortal. An obsession that will change them both forever. She’s a hungry artist. I’m a powerful demon. My fixation is as strong as I am. If I take her, there’ll be consequences. But she’d be mine. Entirely. For eternity. She’ll paint for me while I master her enchanting beauty. I’ll let her bewitch me and damn the aftermath. But in this dangerous game, the real question is, who will possess who? If you devour dark heroes of the supernatural, and enjoy feisty female characters, then this sizzling paranormal romance series is for you. Review: Dare Me is book one in the new Demonology Series. Yes, demons, ancient evil, and all that implies. This is a story of what happens when a young woman willingly involves herself with a demon. This is my first book by Felicity Brandon, it won’t be the last time I read one of her books! Raif is an upper demon who is obsessed with Sara as he keeps watch over as he enjoys her pain and heartaches. Sara is a starving artist with as many problems as everyone else in the world. I quickly found myself at the end of this story and still wanting to read more. I would highly recommend reading it.

Heart of Malice by Lisa Edmonds is the first book in the Alice Worth series. It is an action packed book that will keep you on your toes. This is my first book by this author so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the book. What I found was a well written story that was certainly interesting. I liked the whole escape from her past whole still using her powers. I did at times struggle with the character a little – I wish she could have been a little more tough and hold her own a bit better. However I do think she had a great depth and intrigue about her that kept my interest. This was an overall good book and I am looking forward to seeing whah the rest of the series holds.

I give Dead Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells, 4 stars.
This is a steamy Paranormal Romance book that is a great addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone, but I encourage you to read all of them since they are all wonderful reads. The story is quite interesting and I could not put the book down until I was finished. The characters just add to it. Violet and Finn are the perfect example of opposites attracting. Add in their friends and this great book gets even better.
If you are a fan of Paranormal Romance, you should read this book.

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles, Book 3) by India Kells
5-Stars
Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles, Book 3) by India Kells was an exciting and romantic read! I was immediately pulled into the story at the beginning and could not put it down. I have wanted more from Finn since reading about him for the first time in an earlier book. This book does intermingle characters from earlier books and I recommend reading it with the rest of the series. I loved this addition to the series and I really enjoy this author’s creativity. She creates a beautiful and magical world that speaks to readers. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book 3) by India Kells 4 Stars
Finn O’Malley is one of the oldest living vampires. Nothing much interests him anymore except Violet Shaughnessy. She is a powerful witch and he knows that he must stay away from her. He decides to head back to Ireland to end his long life. Through their bond, she cries out for help and unable to resist, he stays. She’s been taken and being tortured, he can feel it. How can he save her when he doesn’t know where she is? Sometimes no matter how different people are or if there are a million reasons why it shouldn’t work, fate makes you stronger together. To fight this battle, they need to be on the same page to overcome evil.
This is another winning story to add to the Sanctuary Chronicles. Filled with magic, danger and suspense, it will keep you glued to your seat. Meeting both these characters in the previous books, I was happy to read their story. I loved the way their relationship progressed. The way Finn handles Violet took my breath away. I love him! This is definitely a must read.
