Kells is simply a master at her craft. This paranormal romance has it all – including the unlikely pairing of a witch and a vampire. This book and series continue to feed my love of paranormal fiction. And when it is written as well as this – needless to say this was a lovely afternoon lost in a world of Kells’ creation. Loved every page and only hated to see it end.

This is the third book in The Sanctuary Chronicles and I have loved each one. I suggest reading the previous books first in order to get the depth of the characters. This was a book that really drew me in right away and kept my attention for pretty much the whole book. There is a sense of urgency, darkness, light, forbidden love, redemption and forgiveness that keeps you turning the pages. This has well developed characters that bring the story to life. I had no issues connecting to them with each page I turned.

This is the first book I’ve read by CR Robertson. “Ezekiel was cursed by The Blood Queen centuries ago. The story Dare Me (The Demonology Series Book 1) by Felicity Brandon is a book that is interesting, intriguing, and one I had a hard time putting down once I had started. It pulled me in, and I was hooked. The story has demons, the paranormal, and steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. He is a powerful demon; she is a struggling artist looking for inspiration. He is determined that she will be his. What will happen when a dangerous game starts to be played? What does the future hold for them both? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me wondering what was going to happen next. The book is written in such a way that you feel the emotions that come from the artist as she tries to understand and wrap her mind around just who she has met and what he wants from her. The demon is a character that is self-assured and confident. I quickly found myself at the end of this story and still wanting to read more. I would highly recommend reading it.

This is the third book in the series and so far it is my favorite! I liked the previous books but this one was really awesome. I connected to the characters and the author was able to bring the story to life. This story is about a vampire who wants nothing more than to disappear but he meets a witch that has him intrigued and she is unforgettable. She saves his life but can he return the favor? Every single book that this author puts out i have liked and she’s my go to for an awesome well written story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. Curse of Seduction is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatoryby C.R Robertson. You know when you read a book from a new (to you) author and only a few chapters in you realise that you will be stalking, I mean buying and reading everything they have ever written, including their grocery list if you could get your hands on it- well C.R Robertson is one of those authors! I can already tell that this is the beginning of a long addiction, one that I am oh so happy to feed! But, to be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure if I would love this book going in- I thought it would be Ok, but may be lacking in depth, story, and substance- by concentrating more on the ‘erotic’ component. But, colour me wrong!! This story isn’t just incredibly sexy- it has a fantastic storyline and superb characters as well. This is a masterfully crafted paranormal romance, with a complex and multi-layered storyline. There is a lot going on in it, including having the story told from several perspectives- but C.R Robertson deftly weaves it all into a delectably delicious and absolutely fascinating read. I was in bed when I started the story, in need of a good night sleep. I thought I would just read a chapter or two to get a ‘feel’ of the book, before going to sleep. Ha!!!! I was hooked from the very first page and was still reading a few hours later. By that time there was only a few chapters left in the book- so there was no chance of me putting it down before I had read every last word!!! Needless to say, I didn’t get my good night sleep- but I did discover a fantastic story and a new (to me) author to put on my “must read” list. So if you love a great paranormal romance- with a wonderful story, interesting and endearing characters (except for the baddy of course), some danger, and adventure- all set in a cleverly crafted ‘world’ full of any number of fantasy creatures (from dragons, to witches, vampires, elves, Lycans and more)…… then what are you waiting for? This was a book that sucked me into its world and did not let me go until the end. The world created was so vivid that I could see it in my mind and the characters were all great and I felt like I was a part of their world.

Curse of Seduction by C.R. Robertson was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start out by learning about how Ezekiel was cursed. Every time he is with a woman the Blood queen takes a piece of their memory, which is why he tries to only be with them once so they don’t become like a corpse.
Ilana is part human and part vampire, she has been keeping a secret. She can’t feed from a human without getting sick to her stomach. She has been able to hide it so far without any issues, but how long will it be before someone finds out her secret? She has been crushing on Ezekiel for years, every time she sees him her body gets very needy. When Ezekiel and his brothers have to pick people to fight with them, she ends up being picked by Ezekiel. He is intrigued by her and want’s to learn more about her.
I can’t tell you how much I loved Ilana, she had me LOL so many times with her thoughts. Every woman had that one man she’d give her left fang to spend a night with. Mine was Ezekiel, Prince of the Incubi. He was sex on legs.
Ezekiel, wow where to start with him, he was hot and he could rock a woman’s world in bed. Ilana was a strong character that could definitely hold her own in a fight. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. It has been quite a while that I’ve read this genre and loved it. Curse of Seduction (Dark Princes of Purgatory Book 1) by CR Robertson is a fantastic paranormal story that had me engrossed in it from start to finish. If a paranormal story is done right and you can’t put it down because all you want to do is stay immersed in the story, then it means it was done right and CR did an amazing job. With magic and many different magical creatures, like succubus and incubus, witches and elves, lycan and vampires and more then you have a story that is easy to stay lost in. I was able to vividly picture every character and CR’s world building and wordsmithing allowed my imagination to go wild. It is seduction at its best and if this is purgatory sign me up.
Ilana has always been different but it is not until she meets the one in her fantasies that she finally starts to see what has been suppressed all these years.
Zek is unsure what to make of the strange creature before him. All he knows is she is not what she seems and somehow she may be the one to break the curse. Little did he know she may be more than anyone may realise.
I certainly look forward to the next books in the series and hope they are available now.

This was an engaging, steamy, and invigorating novel. An excellent paranormal romance novel with a fascinating plot. The climax of this story had me reeling! Curse of Seduction is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series and it was perfect starter. The starting scene immediately pulled me I and I was hooked. The four princes were cursed by an evil and powerful witch. There are no known solutions to break the curse at the start. Ilana thought she was just a hybrid vampire until Ezekiel became interested in her. She discovered there was so much more to her and that due had been lied to. These characters and all the other lesser characters were wonderful and developed well. I loved this book and could not put it down. It was easy for me to give it 5-stars. I highly recommend it.

Its the story of Ophelia Blood Queen who has cursed 4 Princes of Purgatory centuries ago in order to become the Queen of Purgatory, the Queen of all Realms. The only thing that can save them is a blood sacrifice. Ilana is a vampire of sorts meaning she can’t feed like normal vampires and the touch of a male causes her horrible pain. She has believed for 200 years that she is defective but when she runs into Ezekiel her witch powers awaken as they sense the presence of her mate. Finally its made clear why she has so much strength & abilities of a vampire but not be able to feed. I loved this book! This is a paranormal story that is full of action, suspense and even some romance. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning. Curse of Seduction by CR Robertson is the first book in the Dark Princes of Purgatory series. This is an extremely well written and exciting story that really had be hooked right from the start. Ilana and Ezekiel are brilliant characters. Their lives are so cleverly intertwined. You really get behind them. I had to find out if they would be able to break the curse. The author has done a great job of weaving a story that carries you effortlessly through to the end. It was original enough that it didn’t feel like many other books of this genre. The was well developed with the right scenes in all the right places. This was a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Oh holy hotness! This book was a last minute read that I picked solely based on the explosive and sexy cover, and boy was I glad that I did! This one picked up with the drama, action, and more right from the get go. I could not put this down until I found out how this book was going to end. I am even more excited to find out this will be a series and something I get to delve back into time and again in the future, always a win-win situation.
This book has it all for the lovers of paranormal romance. So many different layers are woven throughout that make this book play like a movie in your mind as you read. Ophelia is the main female and really our protagonist to say the least. She has to be one of the best wicked women that I have read in a long while. She saves no mercy and this book is made because of it. I was a huge fan of Ezekiel and his whole story really plays well throughout. I won’t divulge much more of the storyline that is already given in the blurbs etc. because I can’t bear to ruin the story for anyone! It is definitely worth every moment of your time and a must read 5 star novel. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next novel in the series soon and see what else is available by CR Robertson soon!

This book was a lot! Like prepare yourself to get lost for a few hours or more because you are not going to want to stop until you read that last page and find out how this book will come to a conclusion. I am new to Lisa Edmonds but the cover drew in my attention and I just had to know what this urban fantasy would hold. Alice is our main gal! She has a history in the dark that she wants to keep there in order to keep her safe. There are a lot of people who could use her memory and history to their advantage and not Alice’s. Alice also runs her own PI firm and has just taken on a case that will also test her and her magic skills. I love all the components of magic that are at play in this novel and I was always very entertained. I hope we will get many more of Alice and her adventures in the near future!

I loved reading the book Curse of Seduction (Dark Princes of Purgatory Book 1) by CR Robertson. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. This is a wonderful story that is full of magic, evil, and romance. Not only does it have a storyline that hooks you in it also has amazing and unforgettable characters. I loved reading about Ilana and Ezekiel. Ilana is a woman who believed that she was defective as a vampire. That is until she meets Ezekiel. She then finds her powers as a witch awakening. Ezekiel has been cursed. Something is taken from every woman that he feeds on. When he notices Ilana, he finds himself drawn to her. Can he save her from being changed by the curse he is under? What does the future hold for Ezekiel and Ilana? Read this book to find out. This a story that is romantic and there are many swoon-worthy scenes. I love books that are about the paranormal and this story is a good example of why. The author has woven a tale that you will get lost in with unforgettable characters. There are additional characters that Ezekiel and Ilana interact with who are helpful to them. Then there those who are evil and are determined that their schemes will succeed. Will they? Lisa Edmonds is a new author to me. Her writing style kept me at the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. Her plot line is engaging with every page I wanted more and more. Her characters are complex and complicated. I can imagine the story with her imagery. Alice is the main character. She was a prisoner to a crime syndicate, who escaped through faking her death. Now she is a PI for the supernatural. She has stumbled on a case that will test her abilities. Alice will have to find her client and the object before it is too late. I recommend this story and I can’t wait until the next book.

This is a paranormal fantasy about a teenager called Louvette who keeps moving schools and doesn’t know who her father is until a lawyer executes her grandfather’s will and secrets come out. There’s definitely a bit of every genre in this story, and the plot overall is interesting and suspenseful although it has moments of predictability. The writing itself didn’t exactly pull me in but the characters and their relationships with each other were interesting.

This is a paranormal romance, and although I often find this genre lets me down, I’ve read other books by India Kells and this one held up. As the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, as I did, having not read the first book. This story is about a witch and a werewolf, with magic, time travel, and mythology thrown in as well, which makes it unique. The plot was strong and I loved the character development of Sera as she finds out about her own past as well as questions her own destiny. The wider cast of characters were complex and dynamic too. Also loved the bookworm’s heaven of a library! Great read with plenty of detail and action.

Winter’s Wolf (The Cursed Book 1) by Lou Grimes. This story wears many faces from it’s paranormal, mystery, adventure and action I was never left feeling the need for more. This is an amazing debut and it’s definitely gonna have me keeping my eye one more from this author. The characters are complex and relatable, easy to connect with. This storyline had me completely hooked from page one to the very end. I think any person could really enjoy this story. I sometimes feel it’s hard for me to get into a book of this type but I absolutely had no trouble sinking right in. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Four stars and highly recommended. Excited to see where this author takes readers next.

Blind Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells. This author knows how to hook me from beginning to end. These characters are some of my top favorites this year and I’ll be thinking about not only them but this storyline for a while. I love a book I can sink into and forget the outside world for a while. This book gave me just that and it was nice to get lost within its pages for a while. I sometimes forget how much I love paranormal romance until an author reminds me of all those amazing reasons and this author does remind me often. The characters are complex and relatable, and the storyline will have you awake well into the night is you start too late. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Blind Magic. The Sanctuary Chronicles (Book 2) by India Kells. What a truly fantastic read. I adored this book. Real fantasy and a completely unique story. I couldn’t put this book down and was hooked from start to finish. India Kells is a awesome author, she’s got such a talented writing style and knows how to keep her audience captivated. Sera is a witch who’s recently lost her sight and given the gift of visions but Sera and people around her are in danger. Ian is a Wolf with past issues, who is drawn to Sera even though he shouldn’t be. These two characters were brilliant to get to know both their stories were intriguing and I enjoyed reading them.

Dead Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells is a fantastic addition to this series. It has such strong and gripping characters that will pull you entirely in to the book. Violet and Finn just worked so well together, you could feel their connection despite how much they may not want it to be there. The story was interesting too. I wanted to find out what was going on and it really made the pages turn quick. This author really knows how to write a great book. Everything I have read by her I have enjoyed and this is no exception. I would highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds 5 Stars
Alice has powerful magic. Since the age of six she was forced to do some unthinkable things to make her grandfather powerful and feared. Her only way to escape was to fake her own death. Taking on a new identity, she now works as a private investigator. She takes on a case that she believes is simple but turns out to be much more complicated and she almost dies. Though she trusts no one, she realizes that she needs help and recruits a ghost, werewolf and a vampire. With such a mish mash of supernaturals, things get quite interesting.
I loved this book! Alice is a force to be reckoned with yet she is insecure and closed off for the most part. Opening up is hard for her considering her past. I adored the characters and the dynamics between each of them. The world building and premise of the story will keep you riveted to your seat unable to put the book down. This is going to be an awesome series.
