Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a Paranormal/Romance Story. This book is a novella, so it is a short quick read. Katerina Ross’s character development and plot line kept my interest. The story is about Dragmir and Ida. He is a hot mess. He has PTSD and to make ends meet he does illegal boxing matches. He has a curse that was placed upon him. In comes Ida, who is a young witch. She signs up to help Dragmir. Will she be able to help him? Does Dragmir and Ida make a good couple? Will they help each other to become the person they want to be? I encourage you to read this novella as it will capture you wanting more.

Wow, this nothing close to anything I have ever read before!!! I love that it is so unique — in the world of the Paranormal, so much has been done that it is so refreshing to see something this unique. The main characters intrigue me and I hope we learn more about them in another, longer book. The struggles he has and the way they control it — wow. I will say that this contains explicit BDSM scenes, so if that is not something you want to read about, this may not be for you. I you are okay with it, I highly recommend reading this. It is not very long, and I had no idea what to expect. But once I kept going, I found it hard to put down until I finished. I commend the author greatly!

Dragomir is an outcast magician who is trying to live his life one moment at a time. Having been cursed, there are times he can’t cope with it and the end result can harm others. His fellow magicians just want to protect themselves and others. Whereas Dragomir understands that, it doesn’t make it any less painful. Ida feels like she can help him if he would just allow her to. With her ways, he can keep stuff under wraps a lot easier. After all its not like it’s been proven that he can trust others. Can he trust her? Can she trust he won’t hurt her? Her teaching is rather unconventional but effective. Their journey though isn’t easy. Will love conquer all?
I enjoyed the fact that this was a little different than the normal PNR that I normally read. I also loved that Ida was in a position that was not the usual one considering the bondage. Both characters are strong types which makes them even more combustible when they come together! I would really like to see this be extended out or become a continuing storyline in another book for them. Really well written, and I enjoyed it.

Lisa: Coming of Age by KM Lowe is the first book in The Guardian Shifters series. Lisa was abandoned as a child but loves her foster parents. But like any curious person wants to know about her family. She has Marcus her best friend who understands her better than she understands herself. What she finds out will change her entire life? This is a paranormal shifter story with a bit of romance as well. I enjoyed the story from the beginning and was left wanting more of the story when it ended. I look forward to reading more about these characters and the adventures they will go on while discovering more about their destinies.

This was a great story. Dragomir is a magician who was cursed. The curse left him with uncontrollable bursts of rage which he doesnt know how to deal with. Hes all alone in the world trying to survive and not destroy everything and everyone around him.
That is until he meets Ida a witch who seems unassuming and meek. How wrong his assumption is. Ida offers to help him and even though he thinks he id beyond help he goes with her.
Ida takes him on a journey of trust, learning to give up control and learning that being damaged doesnt mean he can’t control his life.
Together the learn to tame his anger on unique ways and Dragomir learns to trust someone not only with his body but also with his heart and soul.
Kingsley gave up on meeting his fated one until Eva walked into his life and threw him a curveball- a puzzling dilemma he doesn’t know how to resolve.

The six incredibly good looking men who live in the house aren’t making her job easy, when she finds out they’re vampires she’s not sure whether to run or stay and wonder if they will bite her. This book ends on a cliffhanger but don’t worry the rest of the series is already out. I felt this book was a little slow to start but I couldn’t stop turning the pages, the author knew how to keep you interested and leave you wanting more.

Indebted To The Vampires by Erin Bedford. Piper is down on her luck having lost her apartment, living out of her car and flitting between jobs, she is given a final offer from the temp agency she needs to make this work. Working as a maid in the House of Durand is not at all as she expected, her bosses are unusual to say the least but also very Hot!! I absolutely love this book, Piper is anything but the perfect maid she breaks things, trips on thin air and has just the right amount of sass. She sure has caught the attention of all six brothers in the Durand household. Such a easy read, I finished this book in a few hours, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I have always been a fan of paranormal romance, and this book did not disappoint. The story starts with best friends Lisa and Markus, whose bond goes much deeper than they realise. As far as Lisa knows, she was abandoned on the hospital steps when she was a baby. She was brought up by her loving adoptive parents, but she knows nothing about where she came from. As past secrets force their way to the forefront, Lisa must deal with the fact that she is a shifter, something she has trouble believing. Luckily Lisa has a great support system in Markus, Jasper and other shifters we meet throughout. They help her come to terms with who she is, and to get ready for the biggest battle of her life. I was completely sucked into this story and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I loved the relationship between Lisa and Markus, but I think my favourite character was Jasper so I can’t wait to find out more about him as the series goes on. I would definitely recommend this book.

My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) by Madeline Fay was easily a 5-star read. It was steamy, funny, sweet, and entertaining. I loved the twist on the Wicked Witch of the East and Dorothy. This story had me hooked right away! I also enjoyed Titan, Leon, Crew, and the hilarious Tits McGee. It definitely fit the reverse harem idea well. The storyline was also excellently composed and organized. The characters were developed well and relatable. East was amazing and totally awesome. I love how she finally accepted herself for who she is. This really was an amazing book!

I have loved this story. If you like supernatural stories with shifters and witches this will be a great read for you.

I loved reading the story Indebted to the Vampires (The House of Durand Book 1) by Erin Bedford. I love vampire stories, and this is a good example of the reason why. I loved reading about Piper. She is in need of a job and so takes one from the temp agency as a maid. I liked that Piper is a woman who is not afraid to speak her mind, even if what she says does at times get her into hot water. Her wit had me either smiling or laughing out loud. She soon finds out that her current employers have a secret. What could happen if she finds out their secret? This story has some steamy moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. Piper’s employers are mysterious, handsome, and charming. The book is told from Piper’s and her employer’s POV. The story has a sensual atmosphere and kept me turning pages to find out what would happen next. The author has done a wonderful job of writing a story that made me feel like I was right there with Piper and the other characters. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. Highly recommended reading.

I loved this book. Vampire books are one of my favorites and add romance to it even better. I found this book to be well developed and engaging. The characters made the story come alive with action and romance. Piper is stuck in a job that she has to keep and to make matters worse she breaks an irreplaceable vase. Not only did she break the vase, her employers have a secret that could cost her, her life. I loved Piper! She is so full of attitude, it really made the story fun and easy to read in one sitting. I highly recommend this must read story, you won’t regret picking it up.

It seemed like it took forever for Lisa to get to her final destination, but it is necessary to the plot. This story is on the hot and steamy side and if that is your genre this will satisfy your need for that and your need for the paranormal. Lisa introduces you to characters that you will meet again. A good story.

Black Cat Security is a short yet titillating story. Dragomir is a magician that’s been cursed. Suffering from PTSD, he handles it by battling in illegal fights. Her remedy turns out to be quite surprising. This is an erotically intense story geared towards a more mature audience. I loved it!

My Pretty (Mischief Matchmakers Book 1) by Madeline Fay was a hilarious read! I could not stop laughing. I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan and this book did not disappoint. I did enjoy the plot of the story and some of the twists and turns. Definitely a hot story and not for sensitive readers.
I really enjoyed this book. I always enjoy reading reimagined fairy tales and love to get a new take on a classic story. Fay does a really good job taking a beloved classic and completely flipping it on its head. It took turns I wasn’t expecting and I enjoyed the ride it took me on. I look forward to reading more from this author. Really enjoyed it!
My Pretty by Madeline Fay. Wow this book had me laughing out loud many times. If you are wanting a good lighthearted funny read, look no further. I was sucked into this book from the first page, the humour was refreshing and a bit of seduction to keep us following. Fantastic take on a old classic. I wouldn’t usually go for a retelling as I don’t like to know what’s going to happen, but this didn’t feel like the same story at all completely unique. Thanks for a great read.
Blood Rebellion by Nadine Travers. Such a good read. I really got into this story and was sorry when it came to an end. Each page is teaming with information on each character and I love how it flips back and forth. I think Nadine Travers is a excellent author, who gives great attention to detail, nothing is left up in the air. It’s a short story but it doesn’t fall short on excitement. Excellent start to a new series and I can’t wait for the next book. Thank you.
This twist on the Wizard of Oz was so much fun to read! It was funny…it was sexy…and I enjoyed it. What if the Wicked witch of the East wasn’t the bad guy and Dorothy wasn’t as innocent as she comes off to be?!? That’s the premise of this story. Add in three hunky guys and you have a story that is full of laughs and hotness!! I found myself rooting for East in this story and wanting her to see the beauty in herself and not let the opinion of others drag her down. The twist of the Dorothy’s deceit was one that brought a whole new twist to the well-known story. It was a fun read that I found myself chuckling out loud at times.
This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This book was well written that has a little bit of everything in it including humor. It has strong characters that keep the strong engaging. They are supportive of each other and they are so creative. The Wicked Witch was my favorite as she just made the story fun, lots of personality and funny throughout. The twists and turns kept me turning pages until the end. An adventure of fantasy that is engaging and page turning. This really was just a fun book to read and I highly recommend it.

I have not cried laughing all the way through like I did for a long time. It is a unique and twisted tale that is absolutely hilarious. I must say I love Madeleine’s crazy and look forward to getting my hands on more of her work.
Lisa’s life begins tragically when her father takes her from her mother simply because she was a girl. Surrounded by her adoptive parents and siblings, uncle Jasper, and best friend Markus, Lisa has been supported and loved by those that her around her. However, lately she has been having wild dreams that come every night. Telling Markus about these dreams sets into motion the revealing of her true family lineage which will change her world as she knows it. Lisa finds herself questioning everything she has known and wondering if the future is something she can handle. The story that KM Lowe has written puts the reader in a world filled with magic and things that Lisa believed only existed in the books she read.
I stayed up way past my bedtime to read this book because I did not want to put it down. I wanted to know what happened and how things were going to play out. Not only was Lisa and Markus’ story entertaining to read, it was also filled with real emotion and struggle that you can feel pouring off the pages. Lisa is a strong and resilient teenager that shows just how sassy and tough she can be when facing her new truths head on. Markus is a supportive best friend and soul mate that helps guide her through a world she knew nothing about only a couple of months prior. The supporting characters were also wonderful, and I am excited to read their books in the future. This is the first book that I have read by this author…but it won’t be the last.

Three handsome men have dropped into her world and they are promised to be sent back home if they get rid of the Wicked Witch of the East. Will they be successful? Read this book to find out. This is a story that takes a journey into a world that many are familiar with. There are some characters that are familiar and others who are introduced. The book also has romantic moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. The author does a wonderful job of writing and I felt like I was right there with the characters. I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of the series. This is very good Urban Fantasy with some hot scenes thrown in to keep it even more interesting. The characters are good, they are believable and not all cookie cutter replications of each other. I enjoyed Casey as she learns more and more about they way things really are. It shows she can grow and adapt, which makes for a good main character. The story itself pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. The only downside for me is that considering this is a first book in a series, I felt a little thrown into the middle of something. It is mentioned a few times about things that have gone on previously and I felt a bit like I missed something.
That being said, this is still a very good venture into urban fantasy and if you are a fan of strong but real female main characters in an urban fantasy setting, I recommend this book.

Disguising myself as a damsel in distress with my green face hiding, I lead them along the yellow brick road to Emerald city.

I found myself completely engrossed in this well written story. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am so glad I chose to take the chance because I enjoyed her writing style. This was fast paced, full of action, and wonderful characters. I love a good fantasy/paranormal read and I have to say that this has been added to my list of must reads. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series to find out where this story is going to take us. I highly recommend this book.
