Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1) by Lilliana Rose – Review by Tonya Merritt

Shadow WolfShadow Wolf by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Shadow Wolf brings you into the tale of a human and a shifter, with the human as always being naive. This story keeps you reading by being on the brink of finding out what is so important about Tamaska. A good story with good r rated scenes. The cliffhanger at the end begs you to get the next book to keep reading the series, which is what I plan to do.

I love mm romance and add in the paranormal element, and it’s perfect. Byron and Kai are the cutest together. It was sad to see how Kai was coping after the loss of Julian but beautiful to see him be able to open up and love someone again. They both feel something between each other when they first meet but it takes a minute for them to finally give into their hearts and it was so fun watching them grow together. The ending had my heart ripping open, I wasn’t sure where the author was going with them both meeting Nash, but it hurt so good. I can’t wait for the next book!

Three Made In Heaven (Made In Heaven #1) by Elena Kincaid – Review by Kelli Harper

Three Made in Heaven (Made in Heaven, #1)Three Made in Heaven by Elena Kincaid

This story starts with dreams overlapping and deep friendships developing. Maddie, Cole and Charlie are “soulmates” their intertwined dreams lead them to each other frequently throughout the years. Then when a shared nightmare causes panic, Cole and Charlie decide to go find Maddie. Walking out of the dreams and into a real life love affair. This book is wonderful. From the dream scenes to the real-life relationship. The three of them find their lives changed forever. Steamy sexual scenes and the suspense filled drama that lies waiting for Maddie.

Three Made in Heaven (Made in Heaven, #1)Three Made in Heaven by Elena Kincaid
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Maddie is nine years old when she first meets Cole and Charlie. Unfortunately she only sees them in her dreams at different places. Over the years they become really close friends although romantic feelings start to grow.

Maddie starts having a refuting nightmare of someone in a hoodie pointing a gun at one of the guys.

I am a sucker for dream meetings where the people are actually in real and the two meet outside of dreams.

The reason behind them meeting in their dreams is stated but I don’t think it was ever clear who the person with the hun was and why the were targeting Maddie.

I generally stay away from ménage à trois MFM romances but I could turn away a premise like this.

It was short but a cute read.

This was a good 4 star read. I really liked Maddie, Cole and Charlie. For years Maddie would dream about two men, little did she know that her dream would become a reality. The guys were also excited to finally find Maddie. Can they have a HEA? Will they be able to protect Maddie? This was a fun steamy read. The author pulled you right in with her writing. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how the book would end. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

Three Made In Heaven (Made In Heaven #1)

Maddie, Cole and Charlie have a once in a lifetime if we’re lucky bond with one another. They have watched one another grow up over fifteen years but only in their dreams until dreams become reality.

This was an interesting and steamy story about soul mates. There were some incredibly hot moments that required me to take a minute before I hopped back in to see what would happen next.

I look forward to reading more by Ms. Kincaid in the future.

I’d highly recommend this book for readers in search of testing their interests in polyamorous relationships. This is a beautiful take on such a taboo subject. I love that the author took a romantic take, rather than just a physical one. The characters have clear chemistry from the beginning, but was sweet to see their confidence as a throuple grow all the way to the end. Great read.

Meeting Cole and Charlie in her dreams at the age of nine. Maddie’s best friends who she ends up falling in love with as she gets older. Imagine her surprise when she meets them in person. Though it has it’s paranormal aspects it intrigues me as those relationships are a lot more common now. I highly recommend this book especially if your open minded.

What a unique and interesting concept this story is. From the moment I read the description I just knew I had to read it. This is a quick book to read but it is a great one. The author has created an original story with three amazing characters at its centre.
The book was well written with some great development throughout. I was pulled into the story and found it hard to put the book down. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters and watching their journey. I cannot wait to read book 2.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this romance. It was an interesting read and I love how our 3 characters all meet in their dreams it was very unique. This is a romance with a hint of danger which made the story even more gripping. I loved all 3 of our characters and their connection that was built up through their dreams is so special you just know there would be fireworks when they all come together. And boy was there.

Maddie, Cole and Charlie all meet up when they are kids in their dreams not realising that as they grow they would become soul mates. When the time is right the 3 soul mates finally meet and everything is finally right in their world. That is until a danger threatens to take Maddie from them. Cole and Charles are certain that no one will harm Maddie while they are around even if it means putting themselves at risk.

This is a steamy read but their connection and love for each other is what really brings this story to life. I loved it.

This book was not in my typical genre, however, I went into it with an open mind. All in all, I found the storyline not to my liking. It was really hard for me to stay engaged and I had to really push to finish it. The beginning of the book was interesting in the way it was set up, but it started losing me around the 10% mark. This was a great start to this paranormal romance series! Tamaska is a no nonsense girl that just wants to succeed and have everything go well at her event. Kodiak was definitely not what she was expecting when she hired security for the event. She is unaware of the world around her that has vampires and shifters. So when she is thrust into that world she is not sure who she can trust. Or why Kodiak feels he has to protect her when the leader of the vampires sets his sites on her. As the secrets build, so does the momentum of the story. This one will leave you on a cliffhanger needing to know what happens next in the series!

* Happy Squeak!!! * I completely and thoroughly enjoyed this book. This is where I insert a giddy clapping meme. There are so many great things to love about this book. I absolutely adore how the three met and became friends, continuing that friendship for years. The wholesome connection where Cole and Charlie were big brothers to Maddie when she needed that. The tender friendship that was always there. The something more it all became.

Maddie, even at a young age, knew something was missing from her life. One night she dreamed of two boys, Cole and Charlie. Through the years, they continued to meet in their dreams, aging and growing up together, being the best of friends. Maddie didn’t understand why them or their friendship couldn’t be real. When Maddie voices her doubt about them, Cole jumps into action, bringing the three friends together. When Charlie and Maddie discover how real they are, they are free to explore the love that has developed over time. As a throuple, they face a looming darkness that threatens to tear Maddie away from them.

The joint steamy scenes were some of the classiest I have read. Beautiful, careful, sensually written, they evoke all the right feelings. I also love how the friends and family of the throuple handled adjusting to their announcement. Classy!!! Looking forward to book two!!

Emissary is a standalone novel read as a prequel or companion story to the Star-Crossed Celestials Duet. It is a forbidden romance paranormal tale.
In a perilous dark world where angels and demons are pitted against each other it is forbidden to fall in love with the enemy.
Kai is an Emissary of Death and knows what’s at stake but for the first time in his existence he finds something that changes his mind.
Byron is a demon so just by birth means he is the enemy even though he isn’t like the others. His job is to fight against angels but when he finds one he can’t go up against what will he do?
This a must for supernatural lovers. It is a MM love story that is sexy along with plenty of rough action, a bounty full of danger, and a little slow burn steam.

Maddie met the men of her dreams when she was only nine years old but she was too young to realize it at the time. As she got older, she realized that no man she dates can ever compare to the two men, Charlie, and Cole, that she has been dreaming about for years. Maddie is desperately in love with Charlie and Cole but knows that they are only a part of a fantasy that occurs in her dreams. Even if they were real, they can never be together because she could never choose between them.

Charlie and Cole have been meeting up with Maddie at different locales in her dreams since they were twelve years old. They have had mindless relationships with other women over the years, but none compared to Maddie. Both men are hopelessly head over heels in love with Maddie but fear losing her if she only chooses one of them. Rather than risk losing her altogether they secretly love her from within their dreams.

When Maddie starts having a recurring nightmare and the men find out they fear for Maddie’s safety. Charlie and Cole need to save her but do not know if she is even real. Cole knows that he himself is real and after learning from a psychic that the three of them are soulmates with a unique bond he sets out to find Charlie. It turns out that Charlie is quite real as well, and after the two men do some sleuthing they track down Maddie and set off to rescue her.

I was intrigued by the concept of soulmates being connected through dreams without ever having to meet in person. Maddie, Charlie, and Cole had a special connection that ultimately brought them together even though they were miles apart. The bond was so strong that two men were willing to risk their lives to save the woman of their dreams without ever having met her in person. That is the ultimate sacrifice for the woman you love. When they do finally meet in person the chemistry between them is undeniable so be prepared for some hot and steamy sex scenes.

Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1)Shadow Wolf by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tamaska meets Kodiak when she hires him to work as security for an important event that she has put together where a priceless jewel is to be auctioned off. She is immediately attracted to him but refuses to allow herself to feel anything towards him. After all, not only is he staff that has been hired to work the event, but she also does not believe in one-night stands. Kodiak also feels attracted to Tamaska but tries to deny it. Not only is she a human, and he hates all humans, but he must maintain focus on the job he was hired to do.

When the priceless jewel is stolen from under their noses it is up to Kodiak to find it. He knows that it has to be the work of the vampires and sets out to get the jewel back. Tamaska blames Kodiak for the theft and wants nothing to do with him. She is determined to find the jewel and bring it back because she does not want to lose her job or her reputation. What Tamaska is unaware of is that the world she is venturing into is dangerous and that the vampires want to capture her. Kodiak must protect her, but Tamaska refuses his protection because she does not trust him.

Kodiak knows that he is the only one who can protect Tamaska from being killed by the vampires. An event that could wreak destruction and death on the world. He approaches the alpha of his pack and requests his permission but is told that he must not allow himself to be distracted by a human. Kodiak must now choose between his pack and the woman he is finding himself attracted to and feels compelled to protect.

This book was a great read with wonderful characters and a great storyline. It had action, suspense, murder, passion, vampires, wolves, and shapeshifting. I loved the shapeshifting aspect of this book and the love-hate thing that Tamaska and Kodiak had going on between them. It was obvious from the very first look between them that they were equally attracted to one another. Yet, both were allowing their pride to deny them to really act on their feelings. Tamaska is a strong-willed, stubborn, hardworking, and independent woman who is used to doing things on her own. She does not feel that she needs protection and feels that she can do everything on her own. Kodiak is not used to feeling like he should protect anyone, especially a human. He finds Tamaska bossy and pig-headed but still feels drawn to help her. Neither Tamaska nor Kodiak are used to needing another person to rely on and are used to doing things on their own, yet the attraction between them is undeniable.

Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1) by Lilliana Rose – Review by Kerry Carr

Shadow WolfShadow Wolf by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the Protector Wolf Series and i can’t wait to read more. The author has a great mixture of paranormal adventure and danger as well as a forbidden romance which gets your heart and pulse racing. I’m a huge fan of books about shifters and vampires so I was sold right from the beginning.

Tamaska is human. Her only goal in life is to succeed at what she does enough to set up her own business as an event planner. She has no idea about the dangers or supernatural beings that live alongside her. That is until one that that was supposed to change her life in a good way ends up changing it in a way she never imagined.

She hires some people to protect the rare gem she is auctioning off the Blood Opal. What she doesn’t realise is the people she hired are shifters. She immediately has a distrust for the leader Kodiak but she doesn’t know why. When the jewel goes missing she thinks it was him but how wrong she is.
Kodiak hates humans. Can’t stand them. The only reason he took this job is to earn money to provide for his pack. So what happens when he starts reacting to a female human in a way that makes him want to protect her? Why is he getting these feelings towards her and what does it mean?
When he goes to her aid and takes his eye off the thing he was suppose to be protecting they now have to work together to find and reclaim the missing item.
Who stole the Opal? Why do they want it? Can Kodiak and Tamaska trust each other to work together? And what is the strange feelings that keep bubbling up between then despite both of them trying to ignore and deny them?

I loved this gripping story and can’t wait to see how the rest of the series unfolds.
