Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms Book 1) by EG Manetti – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms #1)Elemental Fire by E.G. Manetti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading this fantasy romance story. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next for them. This is a well written story where the author used details to bring the story to life. The characters are connectable, strong and creative. They are characters that may not be all they are cracked up to be. Control can be something powerful but what will happen when you realize you may not have control at all. There are some twists and turns that had me sitting on the edge just waiting to see what would happen next. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. An engaging story that I highly recommend. You don’t want to miss what happens with these characters.

The Warrior (The Freemasons #3)The Warrior by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been a fan of this captivating series since the first book installment in the series. Each one, I swear just keeps getting better and better! I can never put these books down, and this one so far is my favorite!

Loved this one and all the suspense it held. Greatly liked Jude, and how much his sister meant to him. Sienna was awesome too! She saw something in Jude that he could not even see himself. I loved how much they grew to care for one another, as well as relied on each other. Not just for safety, but for comfort and trust. I was very mesmerized by their story. The moments they shared, stuck with me, and I could not let go. The series captivates me and every book amazes me more and more! Loved this book installment!

Amazing series by an author that knows how to write a perfect book, literally. I highly recommend this book, author and series! All are a must read for sure! The series and this book are impossible to put down!

Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms #1)Elemental Fire by E.G. Manetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

With a name like Sin, I went into this thinking it had to have some steam. I have to say that I LOVED this story. Some fantasy, romance, drama, mystery, suspense, etc. make for an intriguing tale that you just cannot miss. I had to finish this in 2 sittings (I had to feed my child). I found myself wanting to know what was going to happen next. Sin gets herself in some deep things. Being able to see past the glamour is pretty important in this world (or Terra) as its called. Finding out about the Hidden and having to work with one was a surprise and then things got hot from there. What a fantastic book! Another new author and I hope to read more from this author.

The Hunter (The Freemasons Book 2) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Jenni Bishop

The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 stars

Hot on the heels of The Victor is The Hunter the second book in the The Freemasons series. Nicole has given us a delicious enemy to lover’s contemporary romance tale that is steamy and sexy and is full of fiery passion and angst, age old secrets and lies, lurking danger and mystery. I loved the characters, their banter and their hard-won feelings.

Dominic will stop at nothing to keep the secrets of the Freemasons just that – secrets even seduction at its finest of one pesky journalist that could threaten to destroy it all.

Gemma is bound and determined to find out what happened to her father even if it means exposing a secret society older that time.

I look forward to book 3.

The Hunter (The Freemasons Book 2) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Michelle Austin

The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read.
Gemma is on a mission to get some answers. But when she meets Dominic, sparks fly and he is such a charmer. Dominic finds some things out about the mysterious Gemma. What exactly is she up to? Will Gemma get what she is looking for? Can she keep her heart out of it?

Overall this was a great read. I liked both characters very much. Dominic was a hot alpha male, he always seems to get what he wants. Gemma is great, she challenged Dominic and was strong herself. The chemistry between these two came off the pages. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. If you’re looking for a great read with some mystery and strong characters this is the book for you, 1-click and get started today.

The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in The Freemasons series. Even though it is part of a series these books can be read as a standalone which I love.
Wow where to start with this story. This is definately a book for you if you like alpha males with an equally alpha female. The chemistry between them both literally flys off the page. This is an enemies to lover romance so it is full of secrets and lies but the attraction cannot be denied.

Dominic is part of the brotherhood of the Freemasons. He has vowed to protect the brotherhood from any dangers including their secrets being revealed. What he didn’t expect was danger to come in the form of a female. Now he must do everything he can to protect the brotherhood even if that means seducing and distracting the woman investigating them. But when did trying to seduce and distract turn into an attraction he can’t deny?

Gemma is a journalist, so when her father dies in strange circumstances she goes on the hunt to discover the reason behind his death. What she doesn’t expect is Dominic trying to get in the way of her finding out the truth. And as things between them become more serious what will happen if she ever really gets to the bottom of what happened to her father. Could it be one secret and lie too many or will their connection be strong enough for to move on?

This was a good book that kept me up past my very early bedtime, haha. When Gemma’s father passes away under mysterious circumstances she fires up her investigative skills to find who was responsible. What was so secret that he had to die? Dominic Cacciari will do anything to keep Gemma from spilling the secrets of the Freemasons. There are things that should remain secrets from outsiders. But when their intense attraction for one another becomes too much will either party be able to resist?

I enjoyed reading this romance book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This is the second book in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. I enjoyed how the characters brought the story to life. They pulled me into their story with ease and held my attention to the end. There is great chemistry and growth throughout. A story where love and protection could be blurred together. What happens when those lines are crossed? I really enjoyed how the story had a realistic feel to it and I had no problem picturing myself with the characters. What happens in this story you don’t want to miss. Queen’s Destiny (Blood Prophecy Book #1) by Barb Jones – Review by Angela Hayes

Queen's Destiny (The Blood Prophecy, #1)Queen’s Destiny by Barb Jones
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 Stars

Queen’s Destiny is the first book in the Blood Prophecy series by Barb Jones. This is my first foray into any of Ms. Jones work, so I really had no idea of what to expect going into the book. But the title, and blurb caught my attention- so I decided to take a chance and dive in.
What I discovered is an original paranormal romance with vampires, werewolves, witches, prophecy, adventure, the supernatural, suspense, mystery, intrigue, action, conflict, agendas, tension, and drama- all wrapped around a battle for survival, and the powerful bloodline that brought about the whole prophecy in the first place.
Amber Stone is about to have her world turned upside down- in a supernatural way. Little does she know that she has a part to play in an ancient prophecy and a battle for survival that has spanned the centuries.
I really wanted to love this story far more than I did. I had a lot of trouble connecting with the characters- and therefore was left disappointed that I couldn’t invest in them and the outcome of their story the way I had hoped.
There is a lot going on in the story, and it does get quite wordy at times, with a lot of information being laid out (info dumps), as well as there being a lot of characters to keep track of. I think all this caused the story to drag and lag in parts, and gave the whole thing a bit of a choppy, chewy, story…
It is such an original concept that had the potential to be quite a stellar read as it holds a lot of promise, and I feel bad that it just didn’t quite work for me- but maybe it will for you.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Barb Jones.

Well hello Mr. Sexy!!!
The Hunter is the second captivating book in The Freemasons series by Nicole Flockton. It is a wonderful enemies to lovers contemporary romance- with mystery, intensity, chemistry, danger, banter, secrets, tension, and finding love unexpectedly.
Book Two in the series definitely doesn’t let the team down! Giving Alpha Male hotness with a strong female lead to keep him on his toes. Gemma’s father died under suspicious circumstances, and her journalistic instincts can smell a story a mile off. She is determined to get to the bottom of her father’s mysterious death- and that leads her right to the Freemasons.
Dominic is on a mission to keep the nosy reporter from uncovering any of the organisation’s secrets. That means keeping her close. Add some steamy chemistry, a whole lot of secrets, and perilous danger- and we get a story that won’t let you put it down. Meaning I devoured the book in one sitting! On to Book #3…
Happy Reading!

Grave Digger Academy II – Review by Crystal McConnell

Grave Digger Academy IIGrave Digger Academy II by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After reading the first book of this series, I absolutely could NOT wait to dive into the second one and I wasn’t disappointed AT ALL!! This series has engulfed me from the very beginning. I do recommend reading the first book prior to this one as it picks up exactly where it left off. Makayla and fellow Grave Digger Academy students are returning for their second year and it jumps right into the storyline which is very well written and easy to follow. You are able to learn more about Makayla (the main character) as well as her fellow classmates. At this point, Makayla has accepted the fact that she will not be transferring from this academy and is embracing her new path with an eagerness to learn more about herself and why she has been chosen for this path. The plot develops around the Academy games, which includes all other paranormal schools coming together for some competitive fun. Of course, the plot thickens with some twists and surprises (sorry! No spoiler alerts on my behalf 😊) Continue this story to watch Makayla and her classmates grow in their magic as well as come together for each other. Now….off to get #3 and see if I can read it faster than I did #2!!!

I found this to be a quite fascinating story. Chloe and Amanda meet through their positions at the Museum in Seattle. They are both part of a 3,000 year old prophecy. Through the story, we flash back and forth through time to see how this story develops and goes. It can be a little hard to follow at times but I am a big paranormal fan and loved all the creatures in it: vampires, werewolves… It’s an entertaining story that I enjoyed. I found the characters quite intriguing. The story did engage me from the start.  It’s the beginning of the series and I do hope to see more. I want to see where this goes. I recommend it for paranormal lovers out there.

The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in a series which I’m truly loving right now. I jumped into this right after reading the first book in the series and I can say that I enjoyed this just as much, if not even more than the first one.
Set around 4 best friends who are all in authority positions in the Freemasons in Australia, each book can be read as a standalone. But, as I loved the first book I would recommend you read them all and in order so you don’t give yourself spoilers.
In this book we get the story of Dominic Cacciari, the top dog in the lodge, The Right Worshipful Master and Gemma Hughes, entertainment journalist. We are given a brief interlude to Dominic and Gemma in the first book which made me really eager to read their story and it certainly lived up to my expectations and more.
Dominic and Gemma’s story is an enemies-to-lovers story that is full of drama, intrigue and secrets. Lots of secrets. Will they both be willing to give up their secrets in order to make a life together?
This is a great book which I definitely recommend.

Friends with Benies (Paris in Springtime Book 7) by T.B. Bond – Review by Ashley Sugar

Friends with Benies: An AMBW Paranormal Romance (Paris in Springtime Book 7)Friends with Benies: An AMBW Paranormal Romance by T.B. Bond
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ooooh I loved this book from the very first page! Ryker and Wednesday loooove each other but she keeps doubting it. She doesn’t think they should be together because they’re not the same. She’s a mage and he’s a panda shifter. They’re also best friends. This book was great and I enjoyed it!! GREAT characters and I loooove the story. She’s doubtful and he just wants to prove to her that he wants no one BUT her. Super super cute read. The passion the main characters have is phenomenal and I love the writing in this book too. I’ll be checking out more of this authors books!

Burn (Elemental Warriors Book 1) by Joanna Morgan – Review by Skylar Daniels

Burn (Elemental Warriors, #1)Burn by Joanna Morgan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a fantastic paranormal read. I really enjoyed this book. I read the entire book In one sitting. I was hooked from the very beginning. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I recommend this book to anyone who is into paranormal books.
A sexy Fire Elemental on the verge of self-combustion. A human woman with a touch of Water in her blood. A supernatural foe bent on destruction.
Levi, warrior and Fire Elemental, has one mission—to protect the mortal realm from the forces of Chaos. But that changes after a chance encounter with a human woman whose smile makes him burn hotter than the fire inside him.
Brooke Simmonds can’t forget the mysterious man with flames in his eyes and strange tattoos on his arms who walked through an inferno to save her from a devastating apartment fire. When she finds him again, their reunion ignites a fiery passion that threatens to consume them both.
But Levi is back for another, more urgent reason. The Chaolt are after Brooke. There’s a power awakening inside her, and they plan to exploit it. She’s suddenly sucked into a world, and a war, she never knew existed while Levi’s powers blaze even more out of control, endangering everyone around him.
The attraction between Levi and Brooke is so hot it sizzles, but if he doesn’t get his fire in check and stop the Chaolt, the entire town of Topaz Ridge may go up in flames.
Im excited to read more book from this author in the near future.

Friends With Benies (Paris in Springtime Book 7) by T.B. Bond – Review by Amanda Gonzalez

Best friends Wednesday and Ryker are paranormals who have the unfortunate – or perhaps extremely fortunate – situation of not only being physically attracted to each other but harboring secret romantic feelings for one another. To make the matter even more complicated, they have a more intimate relationship along the lines of ‘no strings’. I loved this concept from the beginning and was blown away by the easy dialogue and quick yet steady pace of the story. This was a super cute romance and the first book of the series I’ve read. Thankfully, this standalone doesn’t seem to connect to others in the series. Now that I’ve read this one, however, I’m dying to read the others!

The Hunter (The Freemasons Book 2) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Lorrene Huisman

The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book held its own, as the first book did! Loving this series so far, and I know that I will continue to do so! I love the author’s writing style, and how they create the world and how the characters live in that world! It’s very well done, complex at times, but realistic to a tee!

I enjoyed the story line between Gemma and Dominic! Great and strongly written characters. I especially admired Gemma. Very driven. Admirable. Dominic was a bit more complex, he was a man who knew how to get what he wanted. When they both cross lines and want something on the line, moments together are not avoidable. Can feelings get in the way, more less, of business? They both had excellent character development. The story really built up well as I read. Astonishing as I read through. I could not put this down. For me, as the first, the characters and writing style is what made the story! Truly loved it!

The author’s writing style is sensational! I love how they do the story and the characters that reside as they write! Very creative writing style Highly recommend this book/author/series! A must read for sure!
